New and fresh hotels. Nearby to an Aeon shopping mall for convenience. The trip over to the CIQ was easy. Roomwise, nothing to complain. Comfortable with nice view

The service and facilities were excellent. We celebrated our anniversary there. Food was great and surroundings were teething with other options. It was still, tucked away in nicely in a reasonably comfortably quiet area.

Like the environment but restaurant is a little bit princely

Good variety of breakfast...teppanyaki station was a hit! Fresh juice request was inviting....great! Gym equipment was impressive and abundant..Pool was a bit cold as blocked by the hotel structure...rooms were spacious and beds comfy...rain shower and toiletries were up to standard...

The environment is good and the consumer price is right.

The hotel as expected is a international named and established.

The location is not at the centre of the city... But this can easily be view as a escape from the city. Far from city... with big premises, its a bit disappointment to have such a small swimming pool and other facilities. We'll, over expectation...

The staff and service is up to the par. The room is OK. And the breakfast is having lots of variety. Taste OK, nothing to scream about. The people over the straits will be able to enjoy cheap and nice buffet!

Conference room and equipments setup is up to expectation.

Very nice hotel with good amenities. Food looks great but lacks the quality. Location is far off from the city but grab or taxis are available at a cheap price. Loads of food choices available by the side of the hotel. Good choices of bars available. Nearest shopping mall will be Aeon Permas Jaya

The breakfast and dinner was great. Overall cleanliness of the hotel is great. Although there is a lack of dustbins especially the lobby area.

Just came here for their buffer. Simply awesome food.

Its kinda legacy hotel in JB City. Honeymooners shud go for the presidential suite!!!

Consistently good food. Try the all you can eat buffet on Saturday evenings. Highly recommended.

The best place to stay the staff all are very good and friendly also the food are great must try and you will be coming back again and again.

Ramadhan buffet here is madness. Variety of foods from Asian to Western. Mamak to Sushi. Many choices of dessert.

Great service. Rooms are very clean & spacious. Good buffet breakfast. Though Rennaisance is not in the city centre, it is located in a very convenient area that is self sustain - lots of eateries, close to AEON Mall, banks, laundry, conveniece shops & pharmacies.

I had the buffet in this hotel. Every food seems delicious and attractive but my suggestion is the chef and the waiters should always take good care of the food because I saw many fly on the food. Especially the desserts corner.

Admittedly the best service I've received from a Marriott in Malaysia in all of my stays. From the Front Desk/Concierge team, to the Executive Lounge team and Engineering/Security staff, I felt more welcomed here as a guest than at St Regis Kuala Lumpur, even with fully booked rooms. I only had an air conditioning issue and was promptly fixed at 1am. Congratulations to the team and thank you for the great stay. Fully recommended.

I was searching for a place to have a banquet. It has probably one of the nicest internal spaces around. The staff's are polite and efficient. The design is up to date too.

The only comment I have is about the bar. Each cocktail cost Rm40, and the person who made the order did not know how to make one. After waiting for a long while, I looked over the bar to see the person checking up the ingredient to the drink. And as expected, the taste was sub-par. Hope to see a more experienced bar-tender.

Pretty neat and decent hotel with excellent service. Stay here twice and still liking it. Lotsa eateries near by. Only downside is the surrounding is very dark during the night. Our drivers have problem looking for the correct direction to the lobby.

Yes, I was there to attend a wedding reception, while the food and waiters/waitresses were good the AVA system was not really impressive at all. Only one screen to project the bride and groom's photos, the image was blurr, dark and tiny. At least it should be pretested before having to show a 20 minute video and slides which were dim and projector bulb was near its end of life.

Lounge services was disappointing. But friendly and helpful staff was a major plus.

excellent service by hotel staff. room is spacious, modern and clean. main draw however is the breakfast buffet where there was a huge variety of foods to choose from, even fresh fruit juices and grilled meats for breakfast.

A all round great experience. Friendly staff, good service. Food was good also they have smoking and non smoking rooms. pool and a short walk to food and shops with atm located at the petrol station if you need cash.

Lovely hotel with comfortable room. Close to many shops that ranges from massages to food. Skip the breakfast for cheaper options located around the hotel.
A little on the downside though, requested to borrow a computer mouse but they could not help with such a small favour.

Loved the international buffet. Price is reasonable consider the food they provided. Rm88 for weekend. But if u book using table apps u can get 15% off. So about rm75 perhead all you can eat from 6pm to 9 pm. Infant below 4 years old is free

Staff very helpfull and friendly.

Food is good. Their satey is to die for. Soo gooooddd. So juicy and so tender.

They had a large amount of cakes. So many choices.

It is clean and convient in JB. It's difficult to book.

We (three of us) had our lunch buffet at Renaissance Johor. We were very satisfied with:
1. Variety of cuisines: local dishes, Japanese, Western and also a small selection of cheese (excellent!).
2. Attentive and good customer service: the waiting staff are well trained, professional and switched on.
3. The dessert selections are good with select local delights and fruits.
4. The price for a lunch buffet was competitive and reasonable.
5. In general, the restaurant was clean and food presentation looked appetising.

Just one comment that we saw a fly near the dessert corner inside the restaurant, and a dead cockroach outside the restaurant. This area of hygiene requires more attention.

Cosy place and friendly staffs. Mr James Chew the Sales Manager was very helpful assisting us for our upcoming event.

Nothing special for Gold members. $30USD for extra foldable bed plus breakfast. Coin laundry and really good Japanese restaurant next door.

The breakfast was exquisite,the staff in here are friendly and kind with the customer

But buffets price a bit too high for the market price but good options of international foods
