Dirty room, swapped me rooms to a downgraded room with 1 bed instead of 2 , and didn't seem to care. Wood peeling off cabinets , dirty bathtub full of hairs and a dirty soc of all things , one of those nasty ones worn for days in the bedding ... new room the beds also broken and I go right through it ,it's defintely a older bed , ( I used to sell mattresses for a living years ago) and the springs are all broken. I go right through it and I was 180lbs

The decorations are fantastic. The vibe and feel of the place is great. The rooms are good. I would definitely stay here again. The best part though is definitely the hot cider available in the lobby.

Good hotel in downtown Seattle. The only bad experience is the reception name Tonja. She is very rude when im about to pay my bills by cash. She seems iritated counting the cash and lazy to do her job.

I recently stayed here while attending a training. I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews but have to say that my overall stay was very nice. The folks working at reception were very helpful and friendly, the concierge gave an excellent recommendation for dinner, the server at the restaurant was extremely attentive, and the cleaning staff was so nice and accomodating. If there is a downfall to this beautiful hotel it would be the traffic noise on the highway side of the hotel. If you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs... Traffic noise asside though... AWESOME!

Beds are the worst. For the price you would think they would be a cloud. No open restaurant on Sunday, no gift store to purchase items you may have forgotten and worst of all no shuttle. I'm an older person and walking is not an option. Room is clean staff is helpful.

Stayed here a night and I loved it! Beds and pillows are comfy and nice clean spacious room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowed us to sign up quickly for free WiFi. Gave us a crib for our 5 month old and it was pack n play just like he has at home. (Crowne Plaza actually gives you a baby crib bed with bars yikes). I love how up to date the rooms are the lobby is lovely. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I'm a huge fan of marriott properties, and have already logged well over 100 night this year at their properties, but I would not recommend this property to anyone. It wasn't just that the service was bad, they knew it, and nobody seemed to care. It was just as if that's the norm for the place.

Unfortunately, I have to give it 1 star, because it won't let me choose 0.

Great hotel. Very efficient, kind, and friendly staff. I liked that they have many elevators available. Quick internet speed...not free, though. Rooms are pretty good. There are restaurants in the area but they are not immediately close. The hotel is also not bery close to any parks.

We had a group of 4 and the rooms were super beautiful and clean. Our view faced another hotel but we didn't mind because we didn't spend much time at the hotel anyway. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! Free wifi in room. My only mild complaint is no bathroom fan so it can get stuffy after someone uses it. Also the bathroom door is just a screen that slides open and closed (no lock, not a regular door with a knob). Still the service made up for it. We forgot our toothbrushs and they provided! Also free lemon water dispenser and cups in the lobby. Hotel is up on a large hill so be warned. It's 15 min away from Pike Place.

Stayed here when in Seattle for a meeting. Loved the friendliness of every staff member I came across. One of the best feature was the ample availability of power outlets next to the beds as well as the desk. In this day and age, too many hotels ignore the need for power outlets and the ability to charge multiple devices. One more cool amenity (specially for business travelers) - the overnight shoeshine service. Just put your shoes in a bag and notify housekeeping before 9 pm and get your shoes all spruced up by 8 am the next day. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would love to stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here on a spontaneous date night. We got a room with a beautiful view and the room was very nice with a comfortable bed. Great, friendly hotel that's centrally located in downtown.

Good rooms, good staff. But that's it. The valet will talk to each other with their backs to the door and they won't even try to open the front door for you. It may not be their job but there is a definite lack of awareness and care. The lack of an airport shuttle is really frustrating considering how much the Uber ride is. Also, there's no way I'm spending $12.95 a day for Wi-Fi.

Almost everything about this place is awful. We booked a double room for four people and they gave us one king bed, and then refused to help us or even acknowledge that it was a problem. The one king bed is so hideously uncomfortable that it's almost impressive. The cheap loveseat in my office is a more comfortable place to sleep. On top of that the staff has been consistently rude and unhelpful. We asked the concierge for directions and he literally pointed in a direction and said "two blocks." Which, incidentally, was wrong. It takes the front desk hours to respond to a request if they come at all. The icing on this cake of awfulness is that they don't even have free wifi. It's 15 buck a day. Parking is 45. Did I mention how uncomfortable the one bed is?

Go ANYWHERE else. I certainly won't ever be returning.

The rooms are starting to feel dated. The bathroom sink surround is chipping and the shower head is lower than any human head. The bed is very nice and comfortable and towels are high quality. There is no free water bottle in the room and the desk chair is slanted. I got an "upgrade" when I checked in which resulted in a smaller room than a coworker who did not receive an upgrade.

I travel often for work and have seen the best and the worst in accommodations. The Renaissance Seattle is very nice, the staff was efficient and attentive. I experience none of the inconveniences mentioned in other reviews and had a very good experience.

Not one of my favorites. It is clean enough. Way overpriced. Our reservations for 6 landed us in a king room and then had trouble getting moved to a room with 2 full beds and a cot . Not family friendly, but I understand they are pet friendly.

Amazing reception. Attention to detail with the decor. Architecture beautifully captures the culture of Seattle. Warm innovative, welcoming, homey and personal. The staff are great. From the reception team to house keeping. My room was spotless and spacious.Location at the heart of all the attractions. Uber is a call away if lazy to walk up and down the steep hills. Cafes galore with coffee none stop.all the big shots in technology have a spot here. Breath taking science on maintaining the salmom production. A rich culture of all ages. Co existing with one another. You will surely find something to your taste here. I intend to come back and explore more.:-)

Pros: Great Location. Lots of amenities. Easy parking.
Cons: weird sliding bathroom door that doesn't shut or lock....? Construction going on next door.

I will stay here again. And I do recommend it.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They know the area, and know what to ask guests to guide them to the right dining location. The decor is very grand, but maybe a little dark. Rooms are nice and the hotel is well laid out.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Seattle. Great location, at walking distance from the public market. The staff that works here is friendly and will help with any issue. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Overall a great experience.

Location is convenient with local attractions nearby. All was well with my visit. Staff was friendly and professional for the most part. One of the staff members on the front desk was not professional nor helpful when we requested supplies for our room. Would I return to this hotel in all? Yes.

The hotel was beautiful. Great rooms with comfortable beds, separate tubs and showers, and I loved that I could connect my Netflix account to the room TV! Service was excellent, with kind staff willing to help with whatever you needed. And the location was great. Walking distance to almost everything in downtown Seattle.
