nice stay good service, but a bit poor wifi basic pkg service
This hotel was very nice. Door greeters friendly and very helpful, same with the check in desk. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel but I enjoyed my stay. Only downside was they charge for wifi access.
Renaissance hotels are very nice, and this property is no exception! The location, across the street from the central branch of Seattle Public Library, is central to nearly every tourist attraction you might want to see in the central part of Seattle, from the Space Needle to Pike Place Market to the waterfront. At the same time, it is quiet in the rooms, and you can't really hear much street noise even though it is right off the highway. The breakfast is pretty tasty as well (although for more than 2 people in your room, you have to pay extra). The staff are polite and helpful and all the facilities are pretty new.
Nicely decorated for such a small space. Rooms are a bit pricey for what you get, but what did you expect? It's Seattle. Beds are comfy, staff are courteous, overall a pleasant experience.
Even though the rooms are relatively small, the location is worth it. Very friendly staff and even though the price is relatively high, it is worth for the prime location.
Checked in a day late, but the whole process was as smooth as silk even though there were mang people checking in at the same time. The concierge desk and valet guys are really very helpful and kind. Other staff including the meetings department have been very helpful to us in organising our event at the same hotel. It is one the best Renaissance' available in all across the north west....
My wife and I just recently got married in the Visions room on the 28th floor. We had a smaller ceremony that consisted of around 80 people. We wanted to have a ceremony close to the Asian restaurant that our wedding reception was at but also wanted to stay at a hotel before heading off to our honeymoon. It all worked out well because if the locations but also because of the Renaissance staff's customer service.
We really wanted to thank two specific people that helped make our event successful and enjoyable (Connie and Pieter). These two really went out of our way to help coordinate the logistics of our wedding ceremony. They provided an extra room (Vista) for the wedding party changing room and also provided discounted parking and room rates for our guests. Connie customized the table and chair layout to our liking, laid out pedals, provided candles, and mirrors. They also sent us food to our rooms on both of the nights we stayed at the hotel. Seriously went out of way with that (see pictures).
Anyone looking to get married in Seattle think about the Renaissance Hotel. They have great room layouts for both small & large ceremonies (28th floor and ballroom) and have amazing customer service. The hotel suites were great well cleaned and stocked with quality toiletries.
The only qualm we had was that we ran out of event parking tickets. Connie went to print more but by that time guests had already left. Overall a great experience.
Staff was very friendly.
We can hear noise from other rooms in the morning.
I attended a convention here recently it was superb, besides the elevators being almost sickeningly fast, I have no complaints.
Went to the 515 bar at street level. Excellent service and well furnished. Comfortable seating with many different areas to create privacy.
Everything was clean and nice, the staff Were helpful and Polite .
The hotel itself is very nice. If you're a gold member you get upgraded to free warm breakfast on the 2nd floor restaurant. They have live music at night. Great views of the city.
Knocking down two stars because of the lack of insulation - both sound and walls. The hotel is next to a freeway and the freeway noise never stops. I could hear the guy next door snoring like we were sharing a room (and that was disconcerting). Great view of the city on the 28th floor in their gold and platinum member lounge. Oh and free starbucks throughout the day. If it weren't for the bad insulation it would be a 5 star hotel. All other amenities are simply amazing.
Too crowded with not enough elevators. Took 20 minutes in line to get up to my room.
I ve stayed here twice - really friendly staff. The property is a bit dated, but clean nonetheless. There s breakfast in the Concierge Lounge except on weekends. They give vouchers for breakfast for Platinum Elite or higher members. Be careful in the parking lot - the flow of traffic is backward since the entrance is a one way. And prep yourself to wait for the elevators if the property is packed...they re pretty slow.
Beautiful location. Steps from Safeco, century Link field,Pike place and more! Room was clean, bright and well laid out. Staff were friendly and efficient, very nice experience all together. Would sty there again.
Perfect location, very nice ambiance and very good service
Rooms are modern and medium size. Location is a little off downtown, but okay 15 min walking distance. Walk to capital hill is 15 min too.
Great hotel, really good food at the restaurant, helpful staff. Nice room.
Great nice clean hotel. Perfectly located downtown Seattle.
All around great staff.
One of the best services from hotel. We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at this hotel. Friendly staff to attend to your needs. Will certainly recommend this to travellers to Seattle.
This place was clean, upscale and very comfortable. There is a small lack of service, but other than that it s great.
Love this hotel. I always stay here when in Seattle on business. Rooms are always impeccably cleaned and comfortable. The hotel staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend.
It's very close to many museums and a really stunning public library. Near an Amazon go. The room is very nice and the internet to is a nice touch. Wish it had a pool
Within walking distance to most of Seattle's top attractions, this beautiful hotel is perfect for your family or business trip. Comfortable beds, exquisite dining, and friendly staff are just a few perks of this wonderful hotel. The fitness center is very clean (as is the entire hotel) with up-to-date equipment. I highly recommend this hotel. :)
What a fantastic getaway! A lovely little hotel and the service is absolutely the best. A special shout out to Maddie (hope I am getting spelling/ name correctly) who works the front desk! She was incredibly welcoming, got us checked in right away, took the time to tell us about the sites. What a fantastic time and can't recommend enough.
really nice, really clean, can't wait to go back to Seattle and stay there again.
Nice hotel. Good location. Staff is lovely. Breakfast a very nice spread.
it wasn't the worst hotel ever. My major gripe was the fact that parking cost $42 plus a tax of $9.24 daily. That's a total of $51.24 daily to park at a place I am already paying to stay at . Also there is no pool or Jacuzzi
Hotel was good but city construction keep us awake most of the night
We attended a benefit breakfast for Big Table at the hotel. The food was delicious - much better than most banquet catering. The service was professional yet friendly.
Nice hotel. Good position. Be careful not to drink the water they provide in the room, it doesnt come free.
Excellent hotel with amazing breakfast in the lounge. Service was amazing!
Polite stuff, nice rooms. Cosy place next to fireplace in the lobby. Breakfast was weak, bacon, eggs, sausages, yoghurt and basically thats it.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. A great overall experience.
Good food and drinks, but the drinks are spendy. The sweet potato hummus was perfect!
Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Location is convenient to downtown. Only thing lacking are views out of our window, we see freeway and high-rise next door.
Very nice staff and clean room. Only downside is it is at the top of a hill, so enjoy the walk!
Wonderful hotel well located in downtown Seattle. My room was vast and had a superb view over the city. I spent 3 days there and the food was excellent and the staff very kind and helpful.
Attended a two day professional training event at the hotel. Conference rooms were spacious, clean, well-lit, and comfortable. Food catered through the hotel was delicious and a bump above you standard hotel food.
Stayed for about a weekm. Clean rooms, good location within walking distance of a lot of attractions. Felt safe at all times. Friendly staff. Would stay there again.
Loved! Loved! We will be staying here again! Everyone is so caring and they always made sure you were okay! Thank you
No robe. Water was either extremely hot or extremely cold. The elevators took 15 to 20 min to get to a floor.
Nice staff, well equipped gym and a relatively central location. I can see how some of the rooms can get noisy as the hotel is right next tithe interstate, so if you mind some noise, try to get a room facing south. The executive lounge got a bit crowded during breakfast, which was a little annoying, but other than that my stay was very pleasant.
This hotel was okay but as a Marriott platinum I expected better service and accommodation. Mattress in room #1405 was broken and uncomfortable to sleep on. Front desk women was a bit rude and didn t seem interested in answering questions or being helpful.
My waiter Mark Sutton, at the coffeeshop, was magic
Staff was nice except for one African guy that treated me like I had just robbed the place
Visiting a friend and his room looked really nice and clean. Made me consider staying here next time
Beautiful hotel in downtown, Seattle.
Expensive.
The service and ex was typical of the hotels in the area, it's a shame they charge you to park on top of already charging for a room
Lovely hotel with great views of the city. Very quiet and comfortable and the staff was very nice. I think the best thing about this hotel is the gym! It had everything I needed to get in a great workout. I would stay there again for sure.
It was nice, the rooms were a bit smaller than Springfield Marriott's but it worked for the two nights we were there.
No more concierge lounge on the top floor, it's now a restaurant
Loved it, fast room service, good staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds
Room 1208 - good service and quite central, no complaints
All amenities are great, but would like a better shower.
Service is good, and location near the convention center is convenient.
Great location and very nice customer service. It is a little classic style not gorgous.
Bed is comfortable and room is spacious
Bathroom is spacious to
Easy access to public transport and downtown
Room with view to thr highway is quite noise, you can hear everything from outside and from neighbours ( been on 1215 )
Food menu is very basic
Breakfast buffet is very basic to
Wifi in the room is disconnecting and very low speed
Staff are helpful and friendly
The view was amazing, but for the money I paid I was expecting a lot better customer service.
Great location. Close to CBD. Reasonable room size.
We slept here for one night. Got a good deal with a room on the highway side, not a great view but nothing to complain. Walking distance to music venues in downtown Seattle. Nice bar at the lobby with a very good coffee martini.
One of the worst nights sleep I ve ever had. So close to the freeway you might as well be on it. Moved rooms twice in one night. Still terrible. Never again.
Great location for a work conference. Good service, nice rooms and facilities. Helpful staff.
We had an amazing view of downtown Seattle. The room was comfortable and clean.
We booked online in a website were it said the room was for five and the beds was for one or maybe 2 but really closed. The five space never existed. Wifi it is not free if you are not member of their club. Parking it is not included and it is in the middle of a city and crowded area. When we tried to upgrade they didn't want to made it. And we had to paid an extra room. We was charged for double or more while we thought everything was included. Really regretted. Not recommended
