Great staff, beautiful location and topnotch service.
Great staff, beautiful location and topnotch service.
The hotel pool is amazing. The food options and drinks are mediocre but with Vue right next door it's no big deal. Golf course on the grounds is awesome as well
This place is very clean overall but I had nothing but problems with the employees since I got here. I was insulted at the pool by employees, I got overcharged for my room when I had already booked months in advance and got my confirmation of how much it would be. My husband was insulted by the cashier at the cafe, my son was laughed at by an employee my son didn't understand why they where laughing and he has special needs. I was told I would get back what they over charged me and I have not received anything back. I suggest if you don't like to spend time with racist, lying, ignorant people don't come here.
No room service or microwaves. The bed was hard and I couldn't sleep like that.
The room we originally reserved wasn't immediately available Saturday night, but the man at the front desk apologized and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. Talk about great customer service! Our room was clean. Had a great view. The room service was excellent, too. Our only complaint is the bed. Both of our backs were hurting after initially waking up. Maybe we are too used to our tempurpedic, haha. Overall, great experience and will be back :)
The rooms have been renovated, excellent view of the golf course & mountains. The hotel is fabulous. My stay was great.
Amazing amenities and beautiful, clean rooms. 2 nights was not a long enough stay to really enjoy everything.
I stayed there the whole weekend. A great time....my first time being here and I loved it.....on my last day, I went near the pool to read my book until my ride comes to catch my flight. Security comes and ask me questions and what room I stayed in. I told them the room number and my last name. They came back, confirm that I checked out and kicked me off the property. I asked if I can go to the bar, read my book and wait for my ride until I have to leave. They said I had to leave and escorted me out and told me I had to leave. THE DISRESPECT!!!. After as much as I paid for the hotel, the suite (s) I paid for the weekend. This is how you are to your guests?!?! You treat them like I'm a threat. And kick them out as soon as they check out?! Never have I ever dealt with a problem as such in any hotel I've ever stayed in.......
Stayed here before the inaugural Indian Wells Ironman 70.3. Room and hotel were nice. An odd layout to lobby, shops, etc. but no issues. Perfect pasta restaurant in hotel for pre race meal. After the race, the hotel offered a rehydration and relax room free to all triathletes - stocked with Gatorade, water, massage and theragun. Well run property with very attentive managers who approached me for feedback on what they can do to cater to the triathletes in coming years. I'll be back here next year!
Had our annual company banquet and it was amazing. Resort is top notch.
We loved our stay. Came back rested and refreshed. Loved the pool and the beds
The hotel conference halls are beautiful. Bathrooms are easily accessible. The outdoor pool area is a spectacular view with their own mini sand beach.
This is a great resort with a big pool and great service.
The staff are extremely friendly. We took bikes out on the golf course by mistake and we got no attitude. The rooms are clean and the views are beautiful. I love the landscaping and attention to detail!
I have visited this hotel over 15 years and I have to say this one thing, ita the most relaximg hotwl you'll ever go to.
Stayed overnight for Christmas and was greeting with no parking, no way to print my tram passes and a resistant front desk staff to help. I ended up getting more help from maintenence. The pool was nice.
Luxurious, spacious, well maintained and manicured. Great catering as well.
This place is awesome. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave, you are treated like royalty. I cant' complain about anything, even their maintenance staff was impressively friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Its a good place for families with young children and teenagers. The many pools available are good enough to keep the teens busy, plus they have activities for the young ones.
It's not just tennis paradise, it is paradise period. Such a lovely place where everything is well appointed and attended to. Golf, tennis, pool and food, what else could you ask for? This is good living at its best. I totally appreciate the Renaissance.
Fantastic accommodations!! Friendly staff, beautiful setup, excellent all around.
I love the pool here. Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Nice rooms..
Great staff, awesome pool, fun place to stay for coachella.
Attended a group event hosted at this hotel and was treated disrespectfully by the staff. The hotel was booked as part of a block for a fraternity formal and half of us were evicted. If you don't want to deal with college kids don't let them book group events, but don't take their money and then evict them.
Awesome resort! One of our favorite weekend resorts I've taken my family on short vacations for years!
My favorite place to stay in the Coachella Valley. Kid friendly and swimming with the kids after dark is priceless.
Wonderful experience! Their staff is the absolute best!
Hotel itself is nice. Rooms are nice. Staff is courteous. Only issue we had was room service.. Ordered breakfast and waffles did not come with all the toppings and my hash browns were overcooked. The ones that were not hard as a rock had obviously been sitting awhile because they were chewy. Breakfast like that anywhere else would have been $20 or $25 but this cost over $50.. You kind of expect that at a hotel but for that price it should be an above-average breakfast.
Beautiful hotel, relaxing swimming pool, great breakfast, but I would not go on weekends, it is crazy busy, not relaxing.
Nice atmosphere. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
Everything is great except for the breakfast. $30 for under seasoned food. potatoes were under cooked. Just bland
Nicest resort in the valley hands down. Rooms were beautiful service was great
For family holidays or a golf holiday this resort would be a 4 or 5 star rating; however, as a couple I rated it 3 star as we found the excess of children annoying and not conducive to a relaxing break. We upgraded to a corner suite and found the room and bathroom spacious and well appointed. The setting is beautiful. The location is convenient for many restaurants.
We had a great stay here. When we checked in we had been upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful and the bathroom was nice with a huge shower. We ate dinner at SPC, a bit more casual pizza/pasta place on site. It was excellent! I would absolutely eat here again, even if I was not a guest. I believe this hotel will soon be going through a total renovation, which is sure to be beautiful. Plus, all the staff were fantastic. Would absolutely stay again.
A Wonderful get away, next time we will stay longer !
Love this place. So nice the pool has sand as well in front of it like a little beach. Cava was a nice restaurant their Arnold Palmers are amazing.
Only stayed one night but it was a great hotel. Friendly service and great property. Definitely worth a weekend getaway.
Very clean and pleasant hotel. Staff was very courteous.
My room was remodeled and awesome! Great views and wonderful staff
Beautiful rooms! Huge pool with a bar in the center.
Very kid friendly but also great for adults who want to get away for the weekend. Pool was very clean despite the number of people in it. Sushi restaurant was delicious! I would also recommend the Cava breakfast buffet. Had a great weekend and didn't want to leave. Hope to be back soon.
I have never stayed here, but giving a review based on service and weird policy. I called over the phone to request a bottle of champagne be put into my sister and my new future brother in law's (who just got married last week) room, since they are staying here. The lady I spoke to told me the only way I could do this was to fax in an order form. Since when can you not order things using a credit card over the phone? This doesn't seem too complicated :/ Disappointed.
I went briefly to have a drink, but it is a very nice and quiet environment. I hope to come back another time to get to know the place better.
Great room, view, service, food, and pool. Had an awesome time. It is close to everything and the weather was awesome !
Decent price for the rooms. Also in a fairly convenient location with regards to restaurants and bars.
Helpful staff, nice rooms, great food provided for duration of conference.
Dishonest billing and services designed to generate additional fees.
We checked in on New Years eve and had a few surprises.
First - upon check in we found out there was a resort fee of $20 that we were not aware of because it is not plainly stated when you book the room online, the fee is added at check in. Pretty dishonest if you ask me, simply price the room with all costs including taxes AND resort fees up front so that consumers can compare actual costs.
Second - when we asked for a baggage cart we were informed that only bell boys/valets could use the carts because this was a "full service" resort. I did not want any help, only a cart to move my bags to my room myself. I thought my request was reasonable. The next employee I spoke with told me that the valets controlled the baggage carts and that she could not release one for my use. Finally I spoke with the hotel manager on duty and he told me there was a liability issue with the baggage carts.....REALLY....a liability issue. Not in any other hotel I have used anywhere else in California or the country over the last 20 years. The real issue is that the baggage carts and service generate tips for the valets. Yet another charge not addressed up front when you book this hotel. The head valet watched my exchange with the hotel manager and "high fived" the younger valet who refused to give me a cart after the hotel manager told me he would not direct the valets to release a cart to me. Incredibly bad service by any accounting.
Third - the parking is a significant distance from the hotel, that is unless you choose to pay for valet parking. Another additional $25 charge NOT mentioned when you book this hotel.
I will not be booking with this particular resort or other Marriot Hotels again unless there is no other option.
staff was nice... room is outdated. resort fees is expensive.
Clean, very good service. Amazing pool which was very heated, that alone makes me want to return again soon. Great experience overall.
Fabulous experience. Went to a convention. Facilites are superb.
Very comfortable rooms. Mattresses and pillows were nice and new, room could use a deeper cleaning though.
The grounds are stunning! Rooms are spacious! Totally kid friendly. Already booked our next trip!
Love this place. One of the best in the area for golf and relaxation.
Great pool has a sand beach!! .. and how blue is this sky*!???
One of our favorite resorts! We return every year and the staff remembers and is always so nice and helpful. The spa is a must.
Nice hotel, good views, comfortable beds, great pool.
Pool was great. Rooms were clean but nothing spectacular. Noise was a major issue at night, room could use better sound proofing.
Smelly bathrooms, probably because of reclaimed water? The rest of the hotel is perfect and amazing staffs.
The resort is great. Some of the rooms are worn and need remodeling. Expected more for the price.
