This hotel was great! We went for a Bachelorette and they sent up a wonderful champagne service for all of the girls. The room service was wonderful and the pool had a good atmosphere and good service. They only thing is that people might confuse it with the Hyatt next door, but once you find it, it's a great and relaxing spot.

I only stopped by to enjoy the pool and sand. Bartender by the pool was unable to simply close my tab for a pitcher of sangria. He muttered something about 'open liquor'. 30 or so minutes later he found me poolside and gave me back my credit card with the bill. Strange approach to bartending.

Average experience. Nothing went above and beyond my expectations and some fell a little flat for a resort of this caliber in my opinion. My room was nice and the oversized balcony was a plus but sadly I could hear all the noise from the bar 5 floors below my room. There is like 1.5 inch gap under the door which may have been adding to the noise level. Parking is a little inconvenient and was never once asked if I wanted assistance with my luggage upon arrival or departure. As a titanium elite bonvoy member I expected higher quality of service from this property.

It's a nice hotel with all the normal amenities including a spa, tennis, restaurants and large pool. The only thing I'd say is the room we're in shows some wear and tear. It's had some remodeling and freshening but it still shows signs of age. Overall the price is ok for what you're getting. We would return to this hotel.

The reason for my visit to this establishment was a friend's graduation, it was relatively easy to find, and has adequate parking. It is a very beautiful property with a pool and what looked like a golf course. Just a visit there was enough to make me and my friends want to return there for a stay.

I attended an art expo at the Esmeralda ballroom in Indian Wells on March 23. The show was interesting and the show was well put together. I have also attended other events at the Rennaissance and each time it has been a pleasant experience.

The resort is very nice, appearance-wise, and the staff, upon entering were all quite professional. unfortunately, I can't really add too much more for description of the Interior including the rooms. My main purpose for visiting was to attend a little hang out with some friends in their pool area. The pool is a great, or a free zone, if you have friends and don't really feel like hosting. The drinks are relatively cheap considering you're at a resort. Then again it is Palm Springs, and it's currently 115 degrees (but that is certainly not the resorts fault), so I'd imagine pricing is reflects the off-season. Overall, great place to hang out with friends and have a good time...And potentially cook. Literally.

My husband is a Marriott member and we have stayed in Renaissance partner hotels before (the most notable and incredible being The Shelbourne in Dublin, which all hotels are now measured by us). This was the exact opposite. Instead of using points, we opted for a special: a corner room with view for $200+.

When we arrived, I noticed that the hotel was bustling with arrivals and departures, and I commented that our corner room view would be the circle drive and fountain rather than the mountains or golf course. Bingo.

We asked for a better view and a late checkout, the latter of which is always available for gold members. No late checkout, but they did give us a room with a better view albeit with a leaking a/c unit (carpet was soaked next to veranda).

Odd discoveries included no chairs on the veranda to take in the view and no wine glasses unless you request them. (For a "5-star" resort, you have to request wine glasses?) Also, a mandatory 20% tipping fee on just about EVERYTHING, when the IRS audits for 8%. (Hope IRS reads this.) Although they do allow you to make adjustments, who's going to actually do this?

Any thought of going to the pool was quickly diminished when we looked at the area. Thirty people packed around a ten-person Jacuzzi and forty-year-old frat boys throwing (not tossing) a genuine pigskin back and forth while in the pool. This could be expected during Coachella, or anytime during April. However, we felt like the Renaissance just gave up running the place.

I wonder if their business model needs to be overhauled or adapted for Indian Wells? Bring down drink prices (yes, I know it's an area that hospitality overcharges to help pay for cheaper deals) and charge more rooms. Maybe this weird element who unloads two coolers per car while they check in might disappear?

Very very dated. Rooms are super large, but bed was lumpy. Linens were low quality. Breakfast is really just continental. Staff is nice and the nostalgia artwork was cool. No robes. Small TV. Floors creak. Barely 3 star worthy.

We stay every year, sometimes up to 3x. First year with wristbands for the pool, though, but based on the shenanigans we've witnessed this weekend, wristbands are a good idea. Maybe numbering the chairs like in movie theaters is the next step.

The Renaissance is a great place for a business conference, relaxing getaway or family weekend vacation. The food is good, the pool is fantastic and the overall hotel is very nice and well maintained, if slightly dated. Super friendly staff and great service rounds out an overall excellent resort.

The only negative is the now industry standard deceptive pricing which includes a unavoidable $33/day resort fee and $8 parking fee ($28 for Valet).

After its redesign, this place is amazing! 3 pools, one that has a beach entrance, and 2 hot tubs. Beautiful golf course next door. The rooms have all been upgraded. One thing that was annoying is the elevator is on one side, so everytime I left or had to get something from my car, I had to walk all the way to the other side to go down. Our room ws above the registration area, but no elevator near it.

Pool is heated, large, and incredible. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and ample sized. Only thing I wasn't thrilled about is that as a Lifetime Platinum Premiere status member, they still charged us to upgrade breakfast rather than just including it free.

I had a room in the 6th floor and had great view of the pool and golf court. The food was great as well as the drinks. The pool was nice and fresh and rooms were all nice and clean, also the beds were comfortable. I just had a great over there and would say yes on someone to visit

We checked in on a Sunday. Everything was closed by 4pm. It's Summer time!!! We couldn't get ice cream. The pizza place wasn't open, the spa was closed. The restaurant was so expensive. Just real unhappy. The pool was nice the waterfall was just 4 looks. I will try Omni Ranch Mirage next.

As a rider and self proclaimed caddy to this course I must say I just as good a time as the players. I used to play golf but after a back surgery and constant hip issues I have accepted that the putter will be the only club that I will swing. But I didn't let my lack of playing stop me from having a great time with this group of 5. The two scratch golfers thought the course was around par for the upper tier courses. The other 2 golfers were far more impressed. I don't get out to golf as much as the others so the GPS interactive screen that comes with the cart is an amazing tool to use while golfing. It is one thing to look for a marker to tell you that you are around 150 to the green it is another to be able to touch a screen and tell you how far it is to that spot and how far that spot is to the hole. If only I could actually hit that spot. The course was beautiful and the weather was a team player. There are lots to choose from when in this area and this is one that should make the cut.

The beauty of the resort was absolutely fantastic! We were there for an event and were constantly impressed with the friendly staff and excellent service. Even though they were under a lot of pressure, the staff performed brilliantly and our food buffets were fabulous! I will be back for sure and highly recommend it as a place to hold an event or to stay and unwind.

This is a really nice, clean property. All of the staff that I encountered were really cordial as well. There are a ton of activities to participate in without leaving the property. We really enjoyed our stay! The gift shop prices for water and snacks are ridiculous but other than that the property is awesome.

What an amazing place from my beloved California. Night or day, it will not make a difference as the views will take one's breath way. In the day time, the surrounding mountains are as picturesque as one can imagine nature to be. At night, the lighting of this gorgeous hotel will knock one's socks off as well. My apologies that I did not take more night pics. Nonetheless, I had an amazing time here.

The staff here was amazing, kind, and very welcoming. Extremely important when you will call a location home for more than just one day
I plan to come here again, one day soon. You will not be let down by this gorgeous get away. Amazing and I cannot stop thinking of my wonderful stay. Thank you Indian Wells staff. Xmas came early.

The valet team stood out as best in customer service experience, specifically the gentleman Dean, was an example of what everyone in hospitality should aspire to. This hotel is massive and he took me and my equipment to the bride's room. This hotel was sold out and they were slammed with vehicles. I needed assistance and without missing a beat, he he dropped what he was doing and provided seamless hospitality. I was doing makeup for a wedding and timing was critical because she needed to depart earlier than expected. He read the signals and for that I'm grateful.

Stunning location, with beautiful scenery, the pool area is just amazing. Great food as well. I attended a conference here, but did not Lodge here, so I cannot speak to the price and service in that regard. But, my interactions with staff and the location itself as far as clean bathrooms, friendless and courtesy were top notch. I think I might stay here next year if the conference returns. If Susi like to note that the chairs in conference rooms are well cushioned and comfortable. That is so important when you're sitting in multi hour lectures.

During check-in we were told that masks were mandatory in all common areas and signs are posted throughout the property. Unfortunately, the policy and other social distancing requirements were in no way enforced by the staff and routinely ignored by customers, especially those at The Place. The hotel is comfortable but a lack of concern for public health protocols makes enjoying the amenities and ambience difficult.
