Waited 40 minutes to sit down, then over an hour for food...waitress was lippy and manager did not act too concerned...this is second time in a row that I had very bad service at this location!

I ordered the NEW New England bake platter and received 8% of a destroyed and broken cluster best guess( Snowcrab half). The platters presented to us took away our appetite's. We didn't eat anything from our plates by the way. Our server attempted to get a manager for us but after waiting just short of ten minutes we had to leave. I've eaten at many Red across the US and am very disappointed in this one. I can understand a steak restaurant taking a long time when busy. A seafood restaurant not busy with a 35 min meal output not so much. Then another 10 for a manager to never show.

What restaurant pressure washes a handicap ramp at 12:39 on a Wednesday afternoon...Red Lobster in Lakeland. Once we walked from handicap parking around to the main entrance, climbed the curb and the stairs, the food inside was thankfully good and service was friendly and attentive

Trey had a lot to do to keep up with a table of 11. He started with a helper who didn't last through the drink delivery so he was on his own to bring his A-game. The manager stopped by and checked we complimented him for his outstanding service. He really did his best to impress, he was pretty wore down by the end of our visit. My heart was a little sad for him because he would have been able to do more if he wasn't on his own but he did really wonderfully. I look forward to another visit. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Went for the endless shrimp. Was very good. Food was hot and tasted fresh. Our waitress Jennifer was outstanding. The best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time! That alone gets 5 stars.

Sitting here now, on my birthday, got here 7:18 PM and it s now 8:51 PM still haven t gotten our food had to ask for silverware, had to ask for biscuits They re out of shrimp cocktail on the upside my three-year-old granddaughter is being very good and patient .....so far - OK, so the food finally comes Lobster was over cooked -the fish, scallops and clams are over fried The coleslaw was much - broccoli was not steamed- it was hard I won t be back for a while, not going to say I ll never go back - management sucked this time- Will probably have to give it a year or two

Clam chowder was swimming in butter. We think it curdled in a microwave. Shrimp dinner left both of us with stomach upset. We've had good experiences there in the past but won't run the risk with this particular restaurant in the future. Rough start to an expensive vacation. We had to give up on nice meals out due this experience.

Food was okay. Service was slow because of lack of servers. Ran out of silver for desert and were given plastic spoons. A glass of wine was almost $12, for basic brand. Probably won't go again for a long time. Cheese biscuits were great. Server was okay, she had WAY too many tables to work.

Justin took real good care of us. Had the endless shrimp which was good. A big thanks to the kitchen staff who I'm positive were hustling and bustling. Working along our server, Justin, they got the food out in a timely manner despite the influx of people. Overall a great experience. Prices range from modest to not so modest on the menu

Placed to go order Saturday night close to closin...

Placed to go order Saturday night close to closing and was at first disappointed that they were out of Salmon (it's the only thing I eat from there). The Bartender explained different options for me which was really help full. She also told me her favorite dish the rainbow trout which was AMAZING by the way. I enjoyed a cocktail with my husband while we waited. I always skeptical about ordering anything from restaurants a hour before closing but everything was fresh and delicious and now I have two dish that I will order from red lobster.

3 stars though because I was put with family. We finished eating and I was waiting for the check while the went ahead to the car. Which is cool. No biggie.

Fast forward a little and I'm getting in the car. Then my family asks me if I got a receipt because there was a worker who had went behind the car to get the tag number. They saw him write it down. I guess he assumed they didnt pay, but that was very disturbing.

Not sure if we will go back here again because of this.

The food is always good. Today is the service... 5 stars for Joseph r. The best waiter we've had in 5 to 7 years. Overall the experience was great. If management See's this I would say put Joseph r in charge of training the waitress staff in how to give customers a WOW experience at Red Lobster. Oh yeah the biscuits are still the best bread of all restaurant chains, don't ever change them.

First of all ive ate at several red lobsters all over usa this one was one of the worst food ive ever had at any restaurant the manager came to my table after i gave my waitress a coupon from Groupon and was very rude asking me what is this i said a coupon for dinner so then she said its not our coupon i said its for red lobsters she said we don't have any coupons like that and if u want our coupon u have to go to red lobsters .com i said no problem so payed 92 dollars for dinner that i didn't eat a third of worst experience I've ever had at a Red lobster

We had stopped for dinner and we all ordered the 4 course I believe it s called and our waitress brought out rolls as soon as we sat down and asked what we d like to drink. She took our orders and appetizers orders and came back immediately with our drinks and a few minutes later with the lobster roll appetizers! They were tasty but there was very little lobster as it tasted more like the Krab stuff at Publix...lol. But our real food made up for the crummy lobster rolls!

We dinned at this Red Lobster last Thursday. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the food was decent, besides our crab being frozen. other than that the experience as a whole was TERRIBLE. We sat at the bar and the 2 bartenders clearly didn't want to be there. Barley spoke to any of the guests. On their phones & talking with other employees instead of paying attention to their guests. My husband and I eat out most nights, we go to plenty of places where the food is average, but we keep coming back because of good service. So our business was lost about 15 minutes into us sitting down. We drove from the south side of Lakeland to dine, we asked for bread 10 times, it finally came when we were done with our entrees and paying our bill. While i see all tables around us getting it, but of course the uninterested bartender had a million excuses. When we asked for our bill, we waited as both bartenders walked passed our money waiting for change multiple times until i finally had to ask. If that didn't make it bad enough, the hostess, a sever, and a manager were telling their stories on when they decided to quit smoking, loudly. Not really the conversation you want to hear while you are trying to enjoy your 100$ average meal. As someone who has 9 years of restaurant experience, completely disappointed on multiple levels on how this restaurant was operating that night. Will never go back. Rude employees.

It's normally very good the salad came out at the same time as the food and I had the wrong salad I had the endless shrimp and I think the waitress forgot about me I only had two extra servings of shrimp because they were not brought out and I finally paid the bill and left

We came to this Red Lobster location after we had to walk out of the Olive Garden across the street for obvioius racial discrimination. Upon being seated at this establishment it had taken approximately 10 minutes (+/- 1 minute) before our drink orders were taken. The waitress was not fully attentive nor was she that pleasant (not a big deal but just want to add substance to the review). While eating what seemed to be the manager came over and asked if if we were eating with "coupons". Our table had never been cleared after eating two salads, an appetizer, and two entrees. I ultimately pulled the manager to the side to notify her of the situation (table still hadn't been cleared at the time). By the time I had let the manager know the table had been cleared.

The service was horrible. Our waitress had trouble getting our salad and main dish orders correct. She never smiled and commented under her breath that we were picky. Our drinks were never refilled and she only checked on us once after our food arrived. We paid with gift cards. When we got the receipt back our card--which had a balance on it--was not returned. She kept it! We had to ask for it to be returned. It really wasn't worth it. Go to the one in Kissimee by Old Town. It's awesome.

Extremely overcrowded. This have been this way for years and still not solved. The wait times are horrible, but the food is good (reason for 2 stars). Even the "To Go" orders are not filled in the specific times they tell you on the phone. If they tell you 35mins it'll be more like double whatever they tell you. PATRONS BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Terrible experience. arrived at 5:00pm. waitress was pleasant. ordered drinks and food for the kids and wife. I hadn't decided yet. Drinks and children's food arrived quickly. She took a bit long to come back and getting order. still reasonable. placed my order. By 6:15 still no food for wife or I. No apology or explanation. cancelled order and left hungry. waitress acted like we were being unreasonable and closed our tab before the manager even arrived. Manager was apologetic but too little too late. This was our third attempt at this restraint with similar service. we will go to Winter Haven or Brandon but will not dine at the Lakeland Red Lobster again
