Newly built hotel in a forested area, it has a structure suitable for its location. Simple and spacious rooms, well equipped and the bed is comfortable, pity, do not have USB plugs to charge electronic equipment. The collaborators are attentive and friendly, ready to solve whatever is requested. Breakfast is excellent. As it is about 8 km from the city center, the price-quality ratio is good.

Lovely hotel and spa. Large rooms, nice food, great facilities, really enjoyed the spa in the morning, especially the outdoor Hot Tub. Food was good at dinner time, however the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, such an amazing selection of cheeses, juices and breads as well as a solid full Irish. I'd recommend this place for a stay over in Limerick, it's not walking distance to town which is a shame but a taxi is about 15min drive if you plan on heading in for a few drinks.
Room was in quite disrepair, when asked for why the Ac doesn t work was told its never hot here and they offered a fan. The refrigerator that is in the room isn t working and was told it s not really a refrigerator but more of just a box to cool things but how would a hot room and hit box beep things cool? Elevator goes to the 3 rd floor but for some reason you can t use it to go down? The lobby and the out side look stellar but I think we got a run down room.
If I could write a review with zero stars, I would but google requires some sort of star rating to enter a review. 1 star is being generous. We stayed here on two seperate occassions on our 2 week honeymoon in Ireland. We did not return the second time because we had such an amazing stay the first go-round but because we prebooked and prepaid via Tavelocity. The first two nights were just as we arrived in Ireland. After traveling for nearly 20 hours we arrived tired and hungry and needing relaxation and comfort. Our first disappointment was learning the rooms did not have A.C. it's 2017. How does a hotel, much less a Radisson, much less a Radisson spa and resort, not offer A.C. in guest rooms? Other hotels in this immediate area do. As consolation, we got a small oscillating fan. We decided to hit up the bar. It took the bar staff quite some time to recognize we were there as they were busy...not with other guests or because the bar was hopping...but busy socializing with an obvious full time bar resident/bar fly. We finally got one staff members attention and asked about food. She then informed us the bar stopped serving food 5 mins ago (even though a sign and menu said food was served all day, but whatever). There was zero mention of the fact that we could get 24 hour room service for limited menu items (This I learned later on). After a few drinks, we became increasingly frustrated at the lack of service that was given to us. Mind you, the resident bar fly was attended to impeccably. We returned to our room where we struggled to sleep on the ridiculously hard, flat pillows and a springy, lumpy bed. Pancakes would have made better pillows. The next morning we attempted to shower in the odd shower setup. It had a half shower door that swung open and shut. Its my guess it was also to "block" the water from coming out. Little good this did as water, as it tends to do when spraying downward from a shower head, splattered and sprayed beyond the scopes of the half shower door. This made the floor slippery and dangerous upon exiting the shower. Using the floor mat towel was a joke as it became soaked in no time. After two nights here we were glad to move on to another town and hotel. After experiencing much nicer hotels on our travelings around Ireland, we dreaded our obligatory return here at the end of our honeymoon. We arrived in the evening of a day where temps reached 80 degrees. While we enjoyed the nice weather outside, we knew this only meant one thing...the room would be HOT. We were right. To start, it was quite warm in the entire hotel. As we lugged our luggage inside, already sweating, we learning the lifts were broken...and...we were on the 3rd floor. Step by step we had to wheel our luggage up 3 flights of stairs and down to the back end of the hotel. Frustrated and hot, we made plans to get another fan, get a cold drink and have dinner outside of the hotel. We decided to try our luck again at the hotel bar. Lo and behold, the resident bar fly was there. We grabbed a drink and inquired about a fan. We were told that they might have a fan, but would have to check to see of they had any left. No comment. We did end up getting a fan, but were willing to eat the cost of our pre-paid stay here to reserve a room closer to town; one with A.C., working lifts and more customer focused staff.
Absolutely loved the hotel! Staff were extremely polite and pleasant to interact with. The room was perfect and the spa was amazing. Would 110% recommend it to anyone.
Food was incredibly expensive and unjustifiably so. Good but not worth 25 euro. Rooms were just okay, window didnt open, fridge didnt work- informed staff and nothing was done. Bottom of bathroom door was rotted because shower is not enclosed and floods the floor. INCREDIBLY expensive rooms for what you get, no breakfast included. Location is fairly far from limerick, not within walking distance, Only thing nice about this hotel is the front gardens.
I love this hotel! I am still here (sitting out back as I type, enjoying the peace and quiet) and thought it best to leave a review now because in this very moment I am so grateful! As a single parent it can be so overwhelming going away with children but I cannot stress how family oriented this hotel is and that includes all family units no matter the dynamic! My kids are currently in the kids club, which gives me a chance to catch my breath and recharge. Kids under 12 eat free before 6:30pm which is another sweet bonus. I feel for the staff who are wearing masks for hours on end yet remain super efficient and friendly, really pleasant that give the place the extra feel good vibes Pat the maintenance guy is my hero, my cards werent activated for our bedroom door, met him in corridor and he took totally control, sorted it and returned the cards to me as I ate in Porters, I didn't have to do a thing! A wee gentleman another cool thing I thought I would mention, in the bathroom there is a pull out clothes line to dry your clothes, togs etc really nifty idea and first time seeing it in a hotel. Food in porters is yummy and good size portions. Breakfast is also delicious and so fancy with 3 tier serving smoothies, yogurts, pastries etc in addition to usual breakfast options. My girls and I felt like queen's this morning thanks Rad, will definitely be back
Room very spacious, clean and warm, what we did not like that during the night there was a buzzing sound, I do not know if the heating or that ... but very annoying, otherwise the room was pleasant, the staff very attentive and the breakfast varied
This is a wonderful place stayed here for 2 nights with family..They just introduced bunk beds which was very convenient for our kids, and meant we didnt have to get an adjoining room.My only minor issue is the availability of condiments at the tables. We constantly had to ask for more sugar, milk etc and more concentrate in the orange dilute as it was not very strong.Apart from those small things we would stay there again .Staff were excellent ,especially our waitress sarah who was very helpful.
Good food & amazing staff. Price of a pint is a bit too much tho. On last visit price of a bottle of budwiser in restaurant was far to high. And the toilets in the lounge area could do with new seats as well as painting doors. And the toilet paper is that of a two star. I would hope to see that there is more attention to details in such a fabulous hotel on the next trip. The spa and staff are very welcoming. As i have been going to this hotel for over 15 years. Fashion shows, weddings, or just for lunch and to walk the very well looked after grounds. I hope to give 5 after next visit.
The hotel the common spaces are beautiful !! The staff is very friendly and the food very good !! The very old rooms and the bathrooms of the rooms the same!
I Visited the Radisson blue hotel recently with family for afternoon tea ..really enjoyed our visit. Staff wer very friendly and efficient ..service was outstanding and our food was amazing..not a crumb left on plates We also had drinks in the main bar and really enjoyed the service and ambience. We plan on returning for an other visit soon . I would definately return to the Radisson blue hotel and would highly recommend a visit to friends and family.. well done all
Always stay here when I'm in Limerick. It's a bit out of town but is a lovely hotel. Great staff and always great service. Nice gym and swimming pool. Theres a lovely Spa as well and an outdoor walk if you need to stretch your legs after dinner...
Very friendly..spacious ..and room comfortable and clean..couldent fault evening meal or breakfast...good food choices..location easy to find...nicely kept gardens etc..dident get time to use the gym or spa but that will be on my next visit...we will be back!
Pool very small, water seemed to be dirty, I got itches all over body after entering the pool, hot tube was not working, elevator was not working, I did a reservation for a dinner in the restaurant, when I went to the restaurant they said I had never did a reservation, I bought a package with late checkout at 2, when I got in the hotel they said to me I had to checkout at 12:30 because the hotel was fullybooked, for me was really bad experience. The only thing that I could say was really good was the staffs
Fantastic staff and venue, food was very nice however could possibly update to accommodate my vegetarian and vegan friends. All in all the bbq staff and activities provided were 5 star.
Nice hotel. Room very spacious and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had used Rain Spa and Leisure Centre. Treatments were so gooood and relaxing. And drinks were so tasty food delicious. Highly recommended.
Pretty nice hotel, which is easily accessible. It has a pool and a selection of Irish Irish beers. The breakfast is rich and you can enjoy everything from sweet to true Irish breakfast.
Had lunch here today and it was shockingly bad for the price. Sandwich was smothered in mustard actually dripping and as for the chips burnt alive I've had better at a fraction of the cost from mcdonnells. Ye really need to renew your menu guys and speak with the chef.. Other Then that the only nice part was the lady staff member serving us
Very disappointing - maybe a bad day? Went down with my friend on Saturday afternoon for some food. We sat outside as it was a gorgeous day but the place was so dirty. They did have a wedding on the night before so maybe that was why but this was at about 3.30 in the afternoon and the outside had dirty tables, glasses and cigarette butts everywhere. My friend went in and asked for menus and was told they'd come out to us. About 10 mins later a really nice waitress came out. We ordered drinks and they arrived promptly. We ordered food but it took ages to come. The food was nice but my friend asked for another slice of gluten free bread for her hummus. Nothing came. She asked 2 more times and it didn't arrive. When she went in to pay there was two male staff members behind the bar. She said one was just stood there polishing glasses and the other guy when she complained about the bread issue didn't even apologise. Maybe they were having a bad day but it was by no mean busy and there were 3 staff on. Shame as its such a nice venue and near where I live.
Stayed here in 2016 for one night on our honeymoon. Amazing experience with incredibly polite and generous staff. They sent us a bottle of champagne and upgraded our room when they overheard us talking on the phone to family about how our honeymoon was going. My wife loved the Spa and we enjoyed our meals in the on-site restaurant. Would stay here again.
Rooms were spacious and clean And equipped with the necessary! The wellness area was very dirty. The only swimming pool overflowed. To stay ok for wellness no! The dinner in the bar was delicious!
Everything was nice -- except one thing that deserves feedback to the management: there was definitely NOT enough staffing in the kitchen on the first night of my stay (8/14) and it took 2h for food to be prepared, while the poor wait staff suffered the consequences. I thought the wait staff did fine and i can't blame the cooks if there were only two of them for the entire hotel, but this was a significant blemish on my experience. Were it not for that it would be a clean 5star....
Couldn't be more happier with the staff ( Patrick was very obliging and easy to chat to ) the food and presentation my god was amazing yes I would recommend this place any time of the day..Can't wait for our big day there.... *****Update****** Yesterday the 16 November 2019 We had our wedding here and to say it was amazing is an understatement it was out of this world the staff were brilliant the management was outstanding we couldn't ask for any more it was Fantastic. Desmond was brilliant made our day run so comfortably.Marie our planner was also brilliant everything went like clockwork we couldn't THANK YE ENOUGH.. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Highly recommended by us the newlyweds..
Lovely bedroom but no water in room and as there was four sharing the room their should hsve been four shower gels shampoo etc .staff working at reception were nice polite and also had a sence of humour something that's seriously lacking in a lot of hotels nowdays .Food in the bar was delicious but a bit pricey .Beautiful location would stay again despite the little housekeeping mistakes .
Very good business hotel, with all facilities for a good meeting/stay. Staff very helpful (well done Kieran on work experience and on Tea/Coffee duty, you did a good job). Great to see Radisson supporting schools Transition Year initiatives like this. Rute in the restaurant also very good service. Lots of parking, good bar with coffee facilities for the nominated driver. Buffet lunch was run very efficiently and professionally.
Loved this place. Perfect accommodation and location for those visiting Limerick and Ring of Kerry. Spacious room with nice amenities. Good bar as well if can't be bothered to drive to city centre.
