Rooms spacious and clean, great views of city and aquarium. Bar overpriced but to be expected in a hotel.

Smack in the middle of Berlin's vibrating city center you will find an hotel with well equipped and well sized rooms, superb breakfast restaurant and a not to miss 15 meter circular aquarium. The location means you have good public transport connections and access to some of the country's most exciting museums.

The Hotel is very close to the Alexander Platz metro station. Beautiful, in the reception hall you will be enchanted to look at the huge aquarium that rises to our view. The rooms are elegant, comfortable and welcoming. Super soundproofed, we rested very well. We had an aquarium view room.
The bathroom is clean and large. What about the perfect hotel for a vacation in Berlin.
I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Berlin

Really good business hotel with high standard rooms and a good location close to Alexanderplatz and S-Bahn train. Love that they have a gym and really fast WiFi at the rooms. I stayed here in March 2015.

The location is great, right next to the Berliner Dom. The service is good, the room was very clean. It has a huge spectacular aquarium in the lobby which I could view from my room, which makes it very special. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very bad German. The room was still full of dust. And the highlight was that the Check Inn was promised and paid from 3pm, and we had to wait 2 hours for our room and got a drink at the bar as compensation. And the overpriced price does not even include breakfast. And the much advertised aquarium is a joke and all the people who visit the Sealife and drive through the aquarium, can look directly into the room. The only good thing is the location. This was the first and last stay in this hotel!

Quite fancy, with a huge fish tank in the middle and you can get inside looking rooms with an aquarium view. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is a decent buffet. Prices are quite high though. Second guest costs more.

I only visited the spa. It was very nice, nice receptionist. Unfortunately, there was only a very small gym and the pool was closed :( If the pool works again, I would like to come back :)

The large fish tank is very unique and interesting. Room was spacious and modern. Room service was limited and poor quality.

A modern hotel in a beautiful neighborhood adjacent to the cathedral. The biggest attraction is the largest aquarium in Germany.

It was a very clean, modern, and beautiful hotel. I have no complaints at all. Great experience.

Currently staying here with my family and our stay has been great so far the services are very good the only down side to the hotel is that children aren't allowed in the swimming pool after 7 o' clock. Our safe got stuck and a couple of minutes after we let the reception know a man came in and fixed it in a couple of minutes. Great hotel.

The hotel and the location just great. Unfortunately we had problems with the room key. We had to have the cards re-encoded several times. For the class of hotel unworthy.

Nice interior both the lobby and the room, and liked the feeling of the lobby with the aquarium and the space. Helpful and professional staff. Good size and clean rooms. Also, great location, being close to several attractions in Berlin. Only complaint is that there were no outlets (for charging your phone) near the beds. Other than that was a great stay, enjoyed it.

Personnel are very helpful and friendly. I'd like to especially call out the people serving behind the bar: they remember what I like and prepare the drinks with pleasure and flair.

Had to add information! The customer service team is the worst, they will ignore your messages or reply just for the sake of replying but never want to improve anything

Nightmare for me, the hotel does not welcome Asian guests at all as I got extremely bad services from the hotel staffs especially at the reception, when i sat down and observed i noticed they only have bad attitude with Asian guests.. i filed complaint but the hotel insisted their staffs did okay.. i think to them it means okay to treat guests like that

The room was even worse.. not cleaned, stuffs missing, etc... think well before spending your money here

oh and if the hotel manager offered to discuss more in detail about the issue when you made comments do not expect much.. they dont really respond, they just trying to look good on social media but never want to improve anything as they believe they are so good already

Perfect, just perfect. The room was big enough and filled with all the necessities. The staff were totally friendly and very professional. The location is amazing and in the heart of Berlin. The Aquarium is such a delight and everything about this place is just a joy for any serious visitor to Berlin. Go blu and you never feel blue :)

Excellent and extraordinary!
A large aquarium is his specialty !!! Stopped in summer 2017. We were offered a choice of accommodation in a room with a city view or an aquarium. We chose, of course, the aquarium! It's magical! It's mesmerizing!
The children were delighted.
The breakfasts at the hotel are gorgeous, I recommend.
Fine cocktails at the bar. The staff are polite and try very hard.
Rooms are small but comfortable. The atmosphere is very pleasant.
There is a spa (cosmetics Bobor)
Yes, there were inaccuracies in the calculation when leaving. They took off a slightly larger amount, which caused inconveniences associated with correspondence and attaching papers. The funds were returned.
Despite this, I will gladly come back here again! I recommend it to everyone! This is my favorite hotel in Berlin!

Good hotel. Bar personel is a bit slow, but this seems to change every day. Last day the staff was quicker.

Interesting, modern place. My room is comfortable and clean and has a view to the big aquarium that is in the middle of the hotel building. The stuff members are friendly and helpful. Located 10 min away from the metro station.

Ask for river view only, the other side is dissuster

I attended a workshop there. Service was good, only the vegetarian options were not that great at the buffet. Although they cooked an on the fly meal for another attendee who had special requirements. So that's quite good. :)

Wow what an awesome hotel. It's perfect for a city break. Especially after a whole day of walking and exploring the sights of Berlin, this hotel is the perfect place you'd want to unwind and relax. The atrium is the biggest feature of the hotel with the huge fish tank. I could spend hours watching it.

Be prepared for the warm temperatures in the hotel, we arrived in Feb for a weekend but I can imagine it would be worst in spring/summer. The rooms face either the fish tank with out any natural light coming in or face outside to the public road.

I feel all in all this hotel provides great location and services for a short break.

We will return again.

The service was perfect only the rooms were a bit run down. The hotel does not deserve the 5 stars in my opinion.

Huge fish tank and that is it. The breakfast does not have any other vegan options than bread, fruit and oats. I asked for some avocado from the kitchen and they did not have any but I was promised that they would have some on the next day. However the day after the did not had it either. For 4 mornings I had oats and banana for breakfast :-(

Suggestion: please add vegan options. It is not very difficult. Some peanut butter so vegans can spread something on the bread. Avocado. Cinnamon to flavour the oats. Soy yogurt.

The room was spacious and clean, I had a bathrobe and slippers and a beautiful view to Berlin's cathedral. Some mornings they replaced the amenities I had used and some other mornings they didn't but I didn't really care as I travel with my own toiletries.

Nice house, a bit old. However, the Radisson Standard is still met. Got an upgrade due to the current Corona location, beautiful view of the Berlin Cathedral.

20 euros for a lift on the elevator? this is too good. but very beautiful elevator. unfortunately I am not ready to pay 20 euros and go in the elevator with so many people. for half the price you can visit aquariums with more interesting fish

The hotel does impressions. Especially the rooms from the side of a cylindrical aquarium. In the room, a coffee machine and a minibar at your disposal. Rooms clean and pleasant. Professional service. I recommend. Minus for parking fee under the hotel but this center and everywhere close to sightseeing so it's understandable but for hotel guests could be, for example, price prices.

Even if you do not live here as a hotel guest you should definitely visit the lobby and there, for example, a coffee or cocktail drink and the view of the deep-sea aquarium, which extends from the ground floor to the attic!

The hotel itself can not say anything - but the aquarium is just impressive, absolute must see!

Central hotel. Everything is new, beautifully maintained and very clean (as of January 2020). The aquarium inside the hotel was undergoing renovations while we were staying Room keys were delivered at 11am and something in the morning without a special request. No dining room is used. The gym and spa are pretty pampering, 2 saunas and a heated pool.

Completely filled with an event, scaffolding right next to the reception. Food was only average if at all ...

Pleasant atmosphere with a view of the AquaDom. Nice light installations. SERVICE attentive.

When you receive your room, make sure it is in the direction of the aquarium or the city. And when you check in, you pay the amount related to the mini-bar, but if you do not use the mini-bar at check-out, you will be subtracted.
I remember sleeping a little cold in the room I stayed in because the heater didn't come out...

And inside the aquarium, you can take the elevator up and down to see the fish, which is not a hotel, but you have to buy a ticket at the next aquarium.

Spectacular modern building with fabulous views over Mitte. Great location for museums and sights in old Berlin.

WOW! This is the word explaining my impression about this hotel. This a real thing with Ocean View included. The room was spacious, 1 million litters aquarium in the window, orthopedic beds were soft, coffee and tea in the room (although never used). The breakfast was magic, freshly squeezed orange juice, smoothie, smoked salmon, cheeses and lots of delicatessen. And the location is out of competition - right opposite the Berliner Dom, with perfect transport connection to airport and central station.

Impressive aquarium in the lobby ... The restaurant is good .... And of course the location is excellent!

Amazing experience at this hotel. The view, the staff and the room was really great ! Only had one very unfrienfly waiter at the breakfast at Heat (hotel's restaurant).

A beautiful hotel with nice rooms and a cool lobby. There is a multi-story aquarium in the lobby, just above the bar, that is fun to watch. The rooms have a modern aesthetic and mine was clean and fresh-smelling. Service was very friendly, as well.

Points: Clean rooms, good food breakfast/lunch/dinner, good views, good historic location....multi culture language staff.

This hotel is a delight to stay at. The staff is very friendly and professional; the hotel itself is very stylish (with intriguing and impressive modern design, from elevators to rooms and public spaces); and prices are good compared to the quality one gets. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet is among the best I have seen during all my travels, with a great selection of most things (the only possible disadvantage being the absence of an egg station). The tables at which breakfast are served are very nicely designed, and the room is very spacious, which enables good conversations without being disturbed. Three little drawbacks (which made me not give a rating of 5): a) I had requested a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. However, I immediately went down to reception again, asking for a non-smoking room, and I was happy to get one right away. b) The wifi service (very important to me) is free, and one can connect at least three devices to it. Also, one also has to log in once per 24 hours; and, e.g., wifi immediately starts working when one re-enters the hotel with one's smartphone from outside. This is great. However, half of my room on the 4th floor had weak or no wifi reception, so I had to move close to the door to have full wifi coverage. c) The location is very central and nice, but the distance to the closest u-bahn station (Alexanderplatz) is a 10-12-minute walk, which felt a bit lengthy at times. Overall, though, these are minor points, and it is a splendid, fresh hotel which I plan to return to. I recommend it warmly.

Great service + first class sightseeing tour with one of the bicycle rickshawers waiting in front of the entrance of the hotel .... All in all a nice stay .... Thumbs up :-))

A really great hotel in a great location. Everything is very clean and orderly. The rooms are spacious but a bit old. If the room is opposite the elevators then the walk to breakfast can be a hike.

Nice hotel ,good for location and love seeing the aquarium in the mornings! Friendly staff and good quality breakfast in the on-site restaurant, room service was quick and friendly too.
