If I could give 0 stars I would! I had a demanding client that insisted they get an early delivery. The website aka Google... Stated they were open until 9pm so I guaranteed that the package would be sent out... Lost the sale because they actually close at 6pm and I work until 6pm! Not impressed at all. I tried to call them several times to confirm their hours but no one answered the phone! Just lost out on a sale all because of some wrong information and a lack of customer service. Thanks Purolator!!!

I've had multiple packages dumped on my stairs without anyone even ringing my door bell. I called the Saskatoon office today at 11:43am and was told it's company policy because "they save a lot of time that way". Is this true?

Delayed my package, was suppose to receive it Frid...

Delayed my package, was suppose to receive it Friday but delayed over the weekend, and then damaged my shipment (which was boxes of paper) bending the new papers inside. Purolator staff did not even acknowledge whether or not if anything happened. Amazon representative confirmed the package was damaged during transit,

On another instance, reported my shipment as "Delivered Signed by BOX####" I was home all day and driver didn't even come nor did he leave a slip! They ended up signing the delivery receipt for whatever reason themselves.

Disappointed with this courier.

I do understand, that Purolator cannot guarantee ...

I do understand, that Purolator cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, since the amount of deliveries vary from day to day. However, this does not excuse or explain rude staff at the pick-up locations. We all have stress in our lives, some of us had to take time off work, so we can wait for the delivery, that may not get to our house until late in the day. A whole day wasted, because we can't even leave the house or work in the back yard, because we may not hear the door bell. If someone takes a job, that involves interactions with people, that person better be suited for that job, or else move them into the warehouse, where they do not need to be polite.
What make the matter worse - read the responses from Purolator to all the different complaints! Pre-fabricated messages, that don't even mean anything, because it was not a person, who could actually care about any of this. That in itself is a great insult to all of Purolator's customers!
A company, that does not care about the small customers, should not be in business. I do not use Putolator for anything, and the only reason, that I am writing this review is, that I bought items from a store, that uses this method of delivery. I am thoroughly disappointed and will not support businesses, that respond to every negative review with the same message. You make millions on us - at least take the time to take ownership of things gone wrong and show responsibility.

I was home the day of delivery - no knock at the door or door bell, just found a slip on my door. I was very frustrated because I waited home intentionally for the delivery. Why bother paying for delivery if they make you pick up...even if you re home?! I attempted to pick up my package today, and the location was closed during regular hours due to water back up. I tried to call their location to ensure that my package would still be available for pick up (the slip says it will only be held for 5 business days, but because I have to go back again, and my work hours are the same as their office hours, not sure when I can get there), but 3 calls and no answer (it rang busy once, and went unanswered twice, with no option of leaving a message). I understand that a water back up is out of their control and can t fault them for that, it s just that the whole situation has been dissatisfying. It would seem from other reviews that I m not alone in my disappointment over Purolater s service.

I know a lot of people are having bad experiences with Purolator but for me, my experience was fairly good. I really don't care if they knock on my door or not, because I'm usually at work when they "try" to deliver. When I was out of town and called this location I told them I may not make it back before the 5 day holding period, the lady that answered the phone said she would hold it for me until I could pick it up no problem, and she was quite lovely to talk to. So far my experience has been fairly good.

Put 1 star only because 0 isn;t possible. Its currently Friday at 228pm. I have been trying to reach them by phone all day, and straight for the last half hour. Have called at least 10 times. It has rang and rang and rang until I'm disconnected. WORST customer service. They don't even bother to pick up the phone or have an answering machine or automated message to explain why no one is picking up! No one wants to drive all the way out when they could call. ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!

Packages are constantly late and they blame it on the weather when there is no weather that could possibly cause a delay. Lazy drivers that will walk up to your door with a "delivery attempted" slip already filled out and try to sneak off without being caught. It's obvious Purolator as a company couldn't care less about these issues so why did I waste my time writing a review they've already gotten a million times? I would never choose to use Purolator, unfortunately when shopping online some websites make the mistake of using them forcing you to be a victim of their systematic laziness. 0/5 Stars

Should be zero stars, but thats not an option. Google, please fix that because some companies deserve that terrible of a rating.

No one ever answers the phone here. Terrible customer service. Calling the other location on Avenue C directs me to an automated message that says to call a customer service center. The person at the customer service center tells me to call the locations in town, which do not answer their phones. The website provides no useful information

I wish there was a way to avoid this company outright. They have the WORST service and personnel.

Their whole business model is to rip you off and not accept any responsibilities.

They left me a slip without ringing the bell. I went to the store to pick my parcel up. When I mentioned the incident, the shopkeeper told me that the driver has not rang the bell because it is a new route for him. When I told her that this doesn't make sense, she said that it is not her job to listen to me!!!

no one pick up my call after calling for over ten to fifteen times.
on top of that I called the call centre number where they kept me on hold for 45 minutes finally I just got tired and disconnected the call.

Package was delivered a day early but I wasn't home. No second delivery attempt was made on the actual delivery date, instead I have to go pick it up. That's like having to fly somewhere but the plane leaves a day early 'for my convenience'.

Honestly I don't know where they found them but they have the rudest people working the front desk. Gossiping and ignoring me, treating me like an inconvenience, and snapping at me just for trying to pick up a package! This could have been a much more enjoyable experience if the employees had an ounce of customer service training and a smile.

A chair, said that it will arrive on September 14th, but it was delayed until September 18th. Where is your contract spirit? ? ? I spend more than a dozen dollars on Amazon in order to get a little faster? The results of it? I sincerely hope that China's SF Express can open a branch in Canada.

Not sure they deserve 1 star. Item was supposed to be delivered with no signature required. What they left was a note for me to pick the item up, but they are not open on Saturday. Now I have a dress that I needed for this weekend that is locked behind a door. Thank you Purolator.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! My package was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and now won't be delivered till supposedly Monday. All because they didn't get my package to the depot in time today. And I got told that it's out of their hands because apparently it takes 2 guys to deliver a 98lb package. Thanks for nothing, scumbag shipping service.

Saskatoon 8th St. location - NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE! Nobody called me that my package is there, even though it says it's been delivered (we always pick up our packages since we live rurally). Hours are only 8-4 - we work during those hours! We'd leave early to pick up the package if we knew it was there! North-end location - can't even TRY to talk to someone there cause it's an impossible automated answer. This is horribly frustrating.

They claimed that they tried to deliver to my home. I was home and it was just not true. And there wasn't a notice on my door either. When I told the attendant about it, she made a face and said sorry. The most insincere apology ever.

Also, since the package was big, she offered to help me carry it to my car. When I said I appreciate it, she suddenly said there are other customers inside and she has to go, and she just left.

Wow! Just wow!

P.S: I called the number below, reported it, received a case number, and that's it. They didn't get back to me, or refund me for their bad customer service. So don't bother calling them, that will just waste more of your time.

I had pre arranged for my shipments to be at the location on 8th for pick ups, since the arrangements,they have been trying to be dropping my home. And sometimes at the 8th street location. This makes it difficult to try to accommodate everyone.

I don't know why people complaining soo much.. I'm ordering staff over amazon all the time and every time when Purolator is delivering my package is here couple days before I ordered something and they said it will be here on Thursday it comes on Monday . You guys are the best .

One of the best customer service received. Completely because of my fault I couldn t receive my parcel which had my passport; at my place and have to go to the facility as I was running out of time for my exam. The front desk staff coordinated with the driver and made sure that I receive it and appear for my exam on time. Kudos to the team and their efforts !!! Thank you once again!

I am giving 1 star because here is not option for 0 star The experience is so bad the delivery driver is not so kindly or helpful and driver is not wait for my package picking up he is showing me that he is so busy after that I went to purolater office there office lady was soooooooooo rude with me she didn t listen my complaint and she told me like no complaints here and she left me alone at the counter that feel so disgusting. Today I did 4 time reschedule to picking up my package but nobody show up I wait for picking up my package from morning 8 to 2.30 pm but no buddy show when I cold to customer service centre that lady told me maybe delivery driver don t have time for pick up package I didn t aspect that answer from here

Garbage delivery, I wish Amazon let me choose who to ship it through. I have had three sets of packages come from Amazon, shipped by Purolator. The first one (last year) came damaged, like the delivery driver stepped on it. I decided to turn a blind eye. The second package (last month) through Purolator came damaged, opened, and then hastily taped back together! I sent pictures to Amazon and thankfully they gave me a refund for it.
Now my third package being shipped through Purolator again and they have cited "mechanical delays" for failure to ship my product both yesterday AND today. Such BS. How do you get a mechanical delay two days in a row? I suspect they didn't manage to ship my product today, so came back and listed it as a "mechanical delay." Still waiting. Terrible service!
All of my Amazon products that come through Canada Post are always fine, while all of my experiences with our local Purolator has been trash, which is surprising considering Purolator is a private organization.
Edit: I have posted pictures of my most recent experience with Puralator. I received a lovely damaged box (yet again). The contents in the package were in rough shape, but luckily they were mostly recoverable. I have called Amazon and got them to put Puralator as the "lowest priority" for shipment.

I can't really give a great review since every time purolator ships to me, instead of getting my package the day of delivery like every other company. Now I expect to get a slip on my door to be picked up tomorrow. Its not available to get in the morning before work, so its a full 24 hour delay. This is especially annoying when you pay extra for 1 or 2 day shipping on amazon and did not expect purolator.

I doubt anything will change with the drivers attempting delivery and then failing to bring the package to the depot to be available for pickup on time. But if the driver did do that, the tracking info (for sure today)seems to have a 3.5 hour delay. If I try calling to see if they had a truck show up, or any helpful information to keep me from getting mad about the situation and to have some closure.. You will probably waste 20 minutes hoping someone will pick up with a few timed out calls before you give up.

It really leaves a salty taste in my mouth every time that happens. I used to love purolator when I lived out of town. They would just call me when my item was in, I could go pick it up at my soonest convenience, no wasted time, no attempted delivery. I was usually in town anyways and it saved me lots of time. Now that I live in town I am not a fan.

I'm wondering if there is a way to fix that issue: I leave the house by 6am and usually get back home around 5pm, monday to friday. Since my wife also works very similar hours and almost 100% of the time nobody will be home.
Is there a way (now or in the future) to be able to flag my address as a no delivery address? Just call me when it gets in. I'm sure that a 2 minute phone call from any employee to tell me to come get my package is cheaper than sending out an employee to stick a piece of paper to my door and then tell me I can only have my item tomorrow. If that happens i'll fix my review.

Their hours are insanely inconvenient. As a person who works Monday to Friday, having the facility closed past 6 PM makes planning for pick up a large headache. I'm surprised no one in their organization has foreseen this as an issue for their customers to pick up their merchandise.

I ve had the usual issues with Purolator as a service but the employees at this location are the rudest I have ever encountered. I called to confirm my package was still available for pick-up as I d been out of town for a few days, and both the original person I spoke to and the person (I assume the supervisor) they passed me off to spoke to me like I was both an idiot and inconvenience for calling with this very simple question.

My friend and i pre-order the same thing---Pokemon let's go. Our packages arrived Saskatoon at the same time, and he got it delivered at 10:38, which means Purolator was working on delivery today. And all I've got is a weather delay. There wasn't snow on the road or heavy wind in the afternoon, so what is the reason for the weather delay? It says that estimated delivery time is on Monday, but i paid 10+ for an express delivery! I could get it on Monday even with free delivery! They won't even let me pick up the package at the store. And driver left another paper and let me pick up in store. Went to the store at the same day and U guys told me it won t be here until next day. Good Job, Purolator! That s why u get so many 1 star! It s waste of time if choose Purolator! CP is still faster than u guys even when they are on strike!!!

NO one ever picks up the phone. Left voicemail saying package will be returned if not picked up by x date but I was out of town and trying to talk to someone. No one answers. Even the 1800 number for the main purolator is awful. On hold for 3-4 hrs sometimes. That's awful customer service.

Since it's Friday they don't open till Monday again. What garbage. Why leave a pick up slip when the package isn't even there for pick up .what a waste of time! If I could give 0 stars I would. company!!!! I went to pick up my package and showed my id, and they gave me the wrong package! I opened it in front of them, because it s the same brand boxes as what I purchased from Saks Fifth Ave Toronto I expected it s mine. After I arrived home, I found the bootie is the same brand but different style! I found that it s not my package! I drove back to the store, and told them what happened! At the beginning there is even not an apologize, and the lady there said you didn t check it? I asked your last name? So I wondering what Is the point to show my id? She instant it s my own fault until I spoke to the phone! Please if you has to pick up something here check it! Because if they give you the wrong one and you have to drive back exchange it! AND! If I could give this place less than one starI would. The delivery driver decided he didn't want to do his job and deliver my package. Didn't knock on my door, didn't call me like the customer service rep I talked to said they would, didn't leave a delivery notice so I new to go and pick up my package. Went to the store to pick up my package and the woman told me that she didn't like my tone and told me to leave and refused to give me my package until I responded in a better tone. If I get the option I will never ship anything with purolator.

Purchased an Amazon gift for grandson.
Prime and has a guaranteed delivery of Thurs Feb 08/2018.
Then receieved an update package will be delivered on Friday Feb 09.
Feb 09...415pm...updated via email new delivery for Mon Feb 12.
Of course I purchased the gift with guaranteed delivery as it's required for SUNDAY the 11th.
Contacted purolator was advised the driver couldn't finish his route....ok..how about hiring or have some stay to deliver the packages FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. nope....

The worst customer service experience I ever had. Like mentioned above, This is the third time the tracking number shows attempted delivery, but there is actually no attempt was done and no notice left on the door. The driver should be punished for not doing his job. I think this company is going to fail soon

You guys deserve 0 star! The company which is full of lies. No one came to my house and the tacking said they had came but no one stay at home. I call the service number, and no one answer the phone. Don't believe the common said from the owner, he doesn t care about what you have met at all. If he really want to do something the deliveryman should be fire; at least give some punishment. Clearly, he didn t do this, so the deliveryman use the fake sending trick over and over again. You can see this from the common. This company need to be shutdown!!!
