It is an excellent hotel, its service is very good with a very attentive staff and with great sense of satisfying the guest of and with great attitude. They keep the facilities in very good condition and very clean. It offers several activities during the stay. It has very good restaurants and food areas for all tastes. The beach is very nice. Just to relax out of all hustle and bustle. And you can also do events, e.g. Weddings, very good set.

It is an all inclusive with 4 restaurants, some of which close at night because open is uneconomical, so when you go to one of the open you have to wait 45 'to access. They have a serious problem with sewer drainage because there is a very unpleasant intense smell. Room cleaning at illogical times, sometimes at 7:20 p.m., and always forget to leave face towels. Positive feedback the friendliness of all your staff.
I was delighted with the rooms that are very spacious, the view is very cool to the sea, the facilities I liked a lot. The ugly thing about my stay at the hotel was that upon arrival we were greeted by a rather rude night receptionist who, instead of making us feel comfortable, made us feel bad, we were hungry and ripped us off by ordering a food delivery service. He had an hour waiting to tell us that it was not possible that the driver who brought the food order had an accident, he was not able to give us another recommendation or the location of an oxxo near the place since he is heading to the beach of MIsmaloya and already It was 2am, when we went out to look for the Oxxo we never found that accident.
The day after breakfast, a waiter was rushing us to eat our dishes from the buffet since they had to lift the plates for lunch. I'm supposed to be on break. I take my time to taste the dishes that breakfast by the way. it made me very rich. My recommendations that call the attention of your staff since there is a way to say things, if we complain at reception about such events, please pay attention to these types of details that are very important in customer service for many facilities that have. The service is the first face and what gives the experience in the place so that as a guest you recommend it. I have a degree in Tourism Administration and I know perfectly what it means to have a service attitude.
Another recommendation was that if you go with an older adult it is difficult to take him to the beach or to the beach bathroom "RAMPAS" please. Another point would be the cleanliness of the sea, you see a cream of dirt between the waves if it is possible that they gave it maintenance and placed trash cans that the culture of cleanliness is not always well instilled in hotel visitors. The beach is beautiful !!
And my recommendation for tourists who want to visit the hotel is to bring a car, if you are retired, it is better to drive your own car, waiting for the truck could be frustrating and tiring, but it is up to everyone's taste and possibilities. The employees definitely make the experience unforgettable. The two fine dining restaurants are excellent, but the breakfast/ lunch buffet was hit or miss. The views are incredible, the beach and swimming pools are perfect, and the poolside drinks and food service was amazing! I can't wait to go back again!
In my first few hours of stay I must say that I am very impressed with not only the staff but the hotel too. After parking and walking up to the hotel I was greeted by Max. Max immediately helped me with my luggage and showed me to the front desk where I was welcomed by Jaclyn. Both asked if I spoke Spanish and understood that I do not speak very much Spanish. They continued to speak to me in English, and very well I might add. They took interest in the fact that I had a long trip and wanted me to have the best experience after a long day of travel. Considering how young Jaclyn is I expect she will have a long great career ahead of her if she chooses to stay in the industry. She explained in detail about the resort and finished checking me in and gave me a couple options for rooms. After choosing, Max showed me up to my room and gave me a tour of the room. Very helpful. Being very hungry I was excited to go down to the buffet for dinner. Even though the sun had set having dinner next to the beach and listening to the breaking waves is absolutely breathing taking. The hostess greeted me and showed me the the table where my waiter immediately greeted me and offered a few suggestions of drinks. Walking around the buffet line before choosing what I wanted, everything looked great and fresh. I chose a bit of everything and enjoyed it all. This is only my first night for my two week vacation and I will update. So far I imagine this will be a great and well needed vacation.

We had an excellent experience, all the staff very attentive, cordial and transmit that they like what they do, they made our experience inside the facilities very pleasant. The facilities surprised me was more than I expected, we enjoyed everything new much better than as seen in the pictures, my children enjoyed the new pool for children as well as my wife and me. The food did not look like an All Inclusive since the taste was perfect, very good the new restaurants. To improve, timeshare salespeople who are very aggressive. Thank you Grand Royal Park for making our perfect vallarta vacation. Awesome job!

This place isn t a luxury resort, it s a business-class hotel that tries too hard to be luxury but it falls short.
The hotel s architecture itself is beautiful, and the customer service is outstanding, yet my experience was weighed down by several tiny inconveniences that ultimately made my stay less than stellar.
The WiFi in the rooms, which is not a secure network but a public one, is pitifully slow. Extremely slow, to the point where it won t even load web pages at all. It s extremely unreliable, several of my devices seldom got a stable connection, but for the most part when I was able to it was extremely slow. Plus I would never check my bank balance or emails over an open network.
The drinks on the first floor, while unlimited, are very obviously watered down and it makes me question why a luxury hotel would do such a thing.
The food itself in the restaurants is quite acceptable, but again, it s not stellar. The food offered for room service or down on the first floor is mass-produced, cheap and quality is definitely not a priority.
The first night, the phone in my room was broken and so was the coffee machine. With a poor WiFi connection and cell reception, it takes a trip to the lobby to get things fixed (took a business day to get fixed, since there was no on-call maintenance). They were both reported three times but they forgot and took more than 2 days to fix it
Goodluck checking in in less than 30 minutes since the front office isn t staffed enough. There s barely any bell boys and most likely you ll have to carry all your luggage yourself.
The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and so are the views. It s honestly pretty amazing that the people that work here are so nice as well and try to resolve your concerns as soon as possible.
The rooms are clean, but again, not luxury-accented.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but definitely had enough things to make this a less than excellent experience. Definitely not a seamless experience.
If the hotel marketed itself as a business-class or as a simple 4 star hotel, it would have received a higher mark. However, since it markets itself as a luxury resort, it definitely has room to improve and to iron out the little details that make it annoying.
Staying at the Grand Park Royal was a very good experience, everything was really good, principally the service, all the people are very kind but in particular in the Pescador restaurant: Elizabeth and Oscar and in the swimming pool area: Zaydelt; they are incredible, a gold medal for them; congratulations to all the staff. We are members of this vacation club and have to say we were very disappointed yes it was a brand new renovated Hotel but the absolute worst service I've gotten anywhere I've traveled
I had to ask for toilet paper every single day ask for extra towels every single day ask for a box of Kleenex every single day not to mention my coffee pot in the room was not rinsed once by Hotel staff we did all the cleaning of our items our self
We had to call and have them unclog the drain in the sink in the bathroom after being there for only 3 minutes then we had to call to have them unclog the shower drain so we could use it
Staff personal were unaccommodating dishonest and very poor service
I stayed in plenty of Royal holiday places and will never go back to this one it's supposed to be a Grand Royal not even close to Grand

Heard back from somebody with the resort who says all they can do basically is train their people and apologize to me NOT good enough. We have.spent thousands of dollars to take a vacation have no worries be a little catered to and relax they don't take it seriously and there's nobody that's in charge you can never find the man to go to. My review falls on deaf ears as far as the resort goes. Hoping people will look at this and choose elsewhere to stay. And we are members of this place.
Got a phone call from Royal holiday to find out why I had my review and only compensation they were willing to give me was maybe a certificate to go to the resort again but they were unwilling to compensate me for my all inclusive fees very unhappy I know they'll use this review to try to improve their Resort unfortunately I feel like it's still felt on deaf ears
I loved the hotel, I congratulate the people who work there, all very helpful. We had to go in times of covid. It is not 100% with respect to what it offers but what it gives is more than enough to have a very good time. all excellent !!

It is a very big and fatherly place. The attention of the workers is also very good, from the reception. It has many services and the atmosphere is very familiar. The food is delicious and the service at the restaurant is unbeatable. The rooms are large and comfortable, and with great views. It has a private beach. The only bad thing (in my experience) is that they take a long time to give you the rooms and it is a bit far from the center of Puerto Vallarta.
I stayed for 5 days in February 2018. Lousy reception, I waited for 50 minutes, of course after 3 pm, the rooms they delivered were not ready, at least I saw three customers complain about that ... It's a nightmare the remodeling, the noise, and part of the already small pool is blocked. The food acceptable. The beautiful beach, the comfortable and functional rooms, the staff (not the reception) very kind ... I do not understand that, it is assumed that reception should take care of that first image. Far from everything, but not at the same time as to stay there all day, limitadisimo activities and without shows or varieties. It is assumed that after the remodeling will be spectacular ... It will be?
A lousy experience! At first they do not warn you that they are building and there is too much noise, in addition you notice a terrible disorganization that makes your stay even worse. The star that I put is for the kitchen team and waiters, their work is excellent! Good for them !! Bad for reception and concierge that do not solve anything.

- There is a period of time when there are no restaurants available from 11:30 am to 12 pm. The only option with food is the cafeteria. And they don't serve you more than 4 cookies per person. - At the time of table assignment in the Italian restaurant. Having more than 8 free tables. It took them more than 15 minutes to assign me a table. The attention of the hostess of that restaurant was with little desire to help.

I was on this bridge on the sixth of February and the truth is that it gives me a very bad impression:
We rented two rooms but apparently one had a bad smell and to solve the situation they gave us a suite with two beds and two armchairs, however they did not give us bedding for those who stayed in the armchairs because the housekeeper had left. keys
Another situation happened that one of the people left first before the checkout, and had to return approximately one hour back to leave the "Pulcerita de identificacion" because otherwise the departure was not authorized. We know many hotels and for the most part neither the cards given for entry into the room ask for the exit except for the pulcera, I accept that it was an error of omission not to deliver it but it makes me stupid something that has no value or meaning to return from so far to a person.

Very good hotel, all the service staff is very very friendly and attentive. Good food and great variety, all very tasty. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Two things that should be improved and considered: for my taste the water in the pool should be warm because as the sun does not hit the water was cold and put a ramp to the comerdor for people in wheelchairs and for the strollers although they lent us the service elevator, we forgot it and had to go back.
