Great hotel, excellent service and amazing salad nicoise and club sandwich!
Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Haven t stayed here but have eaten lunch. The property is eye-candy and looks great from every angle. Super boujis and cool, simply go go go you will love it!
Beautiful canal-side hotel in Amsterdam. Right in the heart of the 9 Straatjes with an amazing gastronomic restaurant. Always try to stay here when in Amsterdam.
The hotel itself is nice and charming. Very strong odor / scent in rooms. Price is way to high for what you get in comparison to other luxury European hotels. Breakfast was a disappointment and anything extra you may want will be charged on you even though breakfast was supposed to be included. While the staff are always friendly they aren't very helpful (except the concierge which were great). Didn't feel like a five star hotel for sure.
Beautiful place, good service. We visited it for lunch, cozy veranda, historical atmosphere combined with modern.
We were received by two people at the entrance. After telling them we would like to have coffee at the bar, they told us the bar is actually full. Not very welcoming, no alternative...
Excellent location for a quiet conversation and drink right in the center.
One of the best bars in Amsterdam. Marvellous barkeepers and excellent service. You will get the best drinks in the area. We will definetily come back!!
Attentive and understanding staff. Location is class. Property and decor is very stylish.
Such an amazing meal. It was joy to eat there as part of my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary.
Boutique hotel with inspiring vision, their focus is always on the details.
Great food, great place, high level service. I had a great moments there.
Great spoiled on December 19th! !
A big party! Thank you
Chic lunch with business relation. Excellent service and excellent meal ...
Great hotel, perfect location on the Keizersgracht, very helpful staff
Fabulous courtyard to have a coffee or a spritz. What a treat.
Delicious cocktails and great bar food. The courtyard is a quiet relaxing area to sit. I can recommend the Jap Yum cocktail!
A good hotel for couple. The staff are very welcoming and the service is great.
A stunning boutique hotel with a cool bar and a Michelin Star restaurant! Service was exceptional and the rooms are beautiful. The fact that it used to be a theater in the 1600's only adds to its flair. Hard to beat the location too, as it is an easy walk to everything! Loved our stay at this wonderful piece of history block away from the heart of Amsterdam!
Fabulous in every way. Visit often when walking up the canal. Fabulous decor. Cosy in winter and summer. Beautiful flowers. Usually just visit for coffee or dessert or cocktail. Best Irish coffee in Amsterdam! Great location.
Nice hotel for a function - food was prompt and nice (though small) and service was very polite and friendly.
Very nice hotel with very friendly and attentive staff! Good coffee!!
It is a historical place, with beautiful buildings, squares and bridges. In their rivers you can go on boat trips and they are very friendly. There are restaurants of different categories an excellent gastronomy. Many tourists visit this area there is a presence of police watching that everything is in order and help the tourists.
A sophisticated, beautiful place to have a drink or a sit down meal. Their fresh ginger tea is perfect for a cold day in Amsterdam, (any season!)
Very nice luxurious hotel with great service. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are fully equipped and interiors are beautifully designed. You feel right at home here.
Enjoyed the High wine experience on the last day of my weekend in Amsterdam and was very impressed. Beautiful, elegant interior. Was welcomed by a host who was impeccably well mannered and personable. The waitresses who served me were all lovely and gave detailed, knowledgeable introductions to the wine and food pairings. The wines were fantastic and paired perfectly, a real treat on the palette and very affordable for such a classy experience.
A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our wedding anniversary at this beautiful luxury hotel. After a warm welcome with a complimentary drink and appetizer, we were offered a private tour. This hotel is in an extraordinay and charming building with a history.
Immediately after arriving in our nicely decorated hotel room, the hotel suprised us with complimentary champagne and some bits and bites.
Also, OCCO bar is wonderfull with attentive staff. The nice bartender even created an amazing tasting virgin cocktail for me! My husband also enjoyed his whiskey and cocktail.
Despite situated in the centre of the city, the Dylan is situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood, so we slept like babies. The breakfast was of high quality, with different kinds of options on the menu, to tickle everyone s fancy.
Unfortunately restaurant Vinkeles (which I believe has a Michelin star) was closed during our stay.
I would definitely stay at this wonderful hotel again, when travelling to Amsterdam, thanks to the impeccable service. For me, the Dylan truly is a home away from home!
A great hotel, wonderful staff, and a quiet location in the heart and best part of the old city of Amsterdam.
At 5 pm instead of tea, go for a wine tasting. Amazing!
Nice interior, overall super friendly staff apart from the manager who treated us poorly when we wanted to make an instagram picture even though all his staff approved.
A beautiful hotel with a great feel about it. Coffee and cake in the bar is the thing to do if you want to relax.
A wonderful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. Our room was cozy and luxurious. We will be back next time we are in town !
Wonderful hotel in a perfect setting at the heart of Amsterdam s canals. The staff are friendly and the decor minimalist but warm. Enjoy a drink by the fire in the lounge to the side of bar and bonus points if you score room 24!
Tremendous hotel, with few guests, good location and excellent service.
I stopped by the Dylan for a business lunch. Service was very friendly with the right amount of attention. The menu had lot of variety including various European dishes that I would not expect in Amsterdam.
I had a business lunch there and opted for the club chicken.
It was really good and I liked the staff.
A nice fancy place perfect for a business lunch or dinner.
Nice and quiet atmosphere that enables talking.
I loved it.
My preferred hotel in Amsterdam. Very nice atmosphere, excellent location
Nice hotel but acoustics could be better. Closed spaces with glass ceilings very noisy.
Very good and attentive service
I ordered a gift voucher for my family members that live in Amsterdam as a holiday gift. I had a few questions about how it all worked so I sent an email to the sales department and I received a response in less than 5 minutes! I was so pleased with the speedy, professional attention I recived from Emma Brinkman!! I can't wait to visit The Dylan next year when I travel to Amsterdam and experience this fabulous service, in person.
We recently stayed 1 night each in the Dylan and the fabled Amstel.
The Dylan was just just perfect and we will return in a few months. The Amstel , though more money. was not in the same league. If you have Matt Damon's budget then I bet the Amstel would be nicer but in this price range one can do much better than the Amstel.
The Dylan hotel is "architectural digest" gorgeous and the staff brimming with enthusiasm . It would be a missed opportunity to not stay at the Dylan
Eaten for lunch in the occ brasserie. Very elegant and stately.
Stunning small hotel with excellent service and clubby design.
Great hotel! Food and staff are amazing. Great location..easy walk to all the museums, districts and tourist areas. Will be back!
We wanted to try The Dylan for once, definitely a bad choice. Want a drink or break at 4pm with kids? Run away ! Arrogant reception desk. A smile is already too much for them. No kids friendly. Next door Pulitzer, Andaz or Hoxton knows how to make their job with Amsterdam expat families. The Dylan is for selfie sticks Instagramers.
Why is it the best hotel in Amsterdam? That certain, complete feeling of comfort when you walk through that main gate.
Fantastic hotel, small, romantic exquisite treatment
I stayed here as part of my job. At first I was told that I have me own room the 5 hours later because of some reason I wined up staying with my boss. The one city in that you did want your own room. Lame thanks Dylan. Thanks.wont stay here ever again. Great hotel if you're old
High Wine tasting highly recommended. A small luxury hotel that breathes the historic atmosphere of the Amsterdam canals. Great patio, beautiful restaurant, renovation and decor a succedd
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel and the rooms were beautiful and the staff was patient and kind. The aesthetic of the hotel was so beautiful, I can t wait to come back. I had a smile on my face and was automatically at ease every time I walked through the door from a day of sight seeing and walking. They made my honeymoon trip so enjoyable, and now Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities!!
Starry restaurant but here I got very busy booking. I will still visit
As soon as we arrived here, we received the same treatment as the nobility. The staff of the hotel team are very friendly, they seem to enjoy their work very much, and the view of our water house is really beautiful! Imagine seeing a jewel-like sleep every morning, like inviting you to swim. The breakfast buffet is included, with fresh fruit and a lot of national cuisine. You must go snorkeling and you can see that the black shark has many small fish of different colors.
For the service, the terrace, the food and the beautiful intimate location
Great designed hotel with a hidden courtyard which is great in summer for lunch or wines.
if you can eat dinner here in the summer in their outdoor area, do it...
My husband, friend and I were turned away at the door! We hoped to have a drink and investigate the hotel for our next trip to Amsterdam. We were rudely told 'there isn't any space at the bar' even though we could see plenty of free tables. I think they were trying to keep their guests from the noisy Pride Parade outside but I won't forget their rudeness. We will stay at the Pulitzer, who welcomed us warmly.
