Partner got us insurance from this company, as I was lead driver, it s under my name. After being charged a late fee from one missed payment, they ve now said they are cancelling our policy from not providing documents which was never stated before and they still had the cheek to try and take monthly payment. To make matters worse they ve not classed themselves an unsecured loan on my credit report. So this is a warning to anyone considering insurance with these guys, don t do it. It could ruin your future. With the way things are at the moment, you d think companies like this wouldn t be in action but just shows they have no compassion and is run by ar**holes. Wouldn t even give them one but google won t let me do any less.

cannot believe this company had credit with them for years through insurance company.. came to renew this year and was declined credit ...received letter from insurance company explaining there decision .have email as well ..so rang insurance company they said they did not understand so would appeal on my behalf as i.ve never missed a payment .received second letter saying premium credit declined again. so would have to pay my premium in full ...so said i would not renew and found insurance with another company job done ..or was it no premium credit set up there own direct debit and took money from my account with no credit agreement ..no insurance from my original insurer absolutely nothing ..there rip off THEIFS

This is an extremely poor company. They are impossible to contact. I am unable to make contact using either the telephone number or the email address provided. I am trying to cancel a new agreement before it starts and it is almost impossible to do so. I have stopped my direct debit at the bank and received threatening letters as a result despite not buying the product they want to sell to me. They are a shambles at best and at worst dishonest.

Well.... Absolutely appalling company if i could give it - 0* i would and i am sure others will be feeling the same considering the reviews on here. I missed 2 payments but paid soon after. Meaning my policy according to Premium Credit has been affected by future finance. I was sent confirmation to confirm my upcoming policy but soon after was sent a letter to inform that they will no longer be providing finance for my policy 3 days before my policy ends!.
I will advise anyone who is looking for vehicle insurance finance to stay well clear as they Definitely DO NOT advise nor give any help or suggestions to their customers and only but leave you in the lurch!

COVID-19. Absolutely shocking, check who your insurance uses before agreeing, I rely on my contractors insurance whilst working on people s houses, unfortunately due to the virus I can t work and have no funds, I contacted the insurance company 4 times in 4 weeks, I then proceeded to cancel my direct debit after no success, premium credit set up a new direct debit behind my back and sent me a letter demanding the full funds, The reason I cancelled the first one is because the funds weren t there and would me into charges with my bank, I have since contacted them direct to which I received the recorded option saying they had cancelled my policy, I then went back to my insurance to receive the reply they have agreed to freeze payments for 1 month meaning my policy is due in 2 weeks.
1. It s been impossible to get through to someone to sort a payment break.
2. The 1 month break isn t even worth it by time they ve replied, all other firms have honoured government guide lines on 3 month breaks.
3. I feel sorry for my insurance company who have done everything to get me an answer.

This Credit company needs a serious reality check, if they were bad before the pandemic they are a disgrace now. Don t bother using your generic reply - you don t care.

Had to re-edit my review. Shame really. The bank mistakenly rejected my direct debit. I phoned up 2 days later and paid by card. Kay the advisor wavered the late charge of 27.50. Bit steep but she cancelled it. All great I thought. Until this morning when I checked my credit file and they have only updated my credit file with a late payment. Knocked my score right down. All for a tiny mistake by the bank. Phoned up and was told it's how they do things and that I just have to accept it. This company must take enjoyment out of doing things like this. Direct debits get missed by people all the time. Is there need for this behaviour by these scum bags. ##AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE ###. I will never use them again. Huh I didn't ask to use them initially, my insurance provider just assumed I wanted them. Never again. Cowboys want to be ashamed of yourselves.

I have nothing that needs me to (personally) insure yet this company has somehow got my details and have been taking payments out of my account - after finding out about this at 1715 no answer before these guys switch the phone lines off a 1800. Luckily for me i live fairly close to Epsom so i will be paying them a visit rather than waste more of my time calling the numbers provided.
Must be doing something right to get such a positive rating.

When I needed to spread the cost, without being told this would go through a 3rd party I suddenly had this company contacting me. Went along with it but won't again. Be warned that your agreement woth them is "a rolling contract". You will have to notify them of termination or they will just continue to take money.

as I can t work because I m not a key work. And I m self employed I don t get any money till we go back to work, when the government say we can, Or in June when the government pay us self employed our grant.

Your company took the payment on the 28th of the month for two months forcing me into an unplanned overdraft, I was charged by my bank and then had to pay extra money to your company to move the direct debit date!!!

One is not aware that DD payments will be dealt with by this shadowy company. They provide no information about the provider or product. Giving the name of the company they have an arrangement is useless as many have many different aliases depending on product.

In future I will find out if DD is handled by Premium Credit and either pay a annually, or find a different provider.

And don't bother replying with a stock and flabby response.

A disgrace, cheating company I cannot believe that Lloyds Business Insurance recommend this set of moronic low lifes. Terrible company (chosen by our "old" business insurance company) to manage monthly payments. They WILL NOT communicate with you, emails are unanswered, phone calls are overseas (South Africa for my last call) where there are constant silences on both sides making it impossible for them to hear customers, and customers to hear them for a conversation. They send automated emails telling you to log into the My Premium Credit portal, but the login does not work, the password reset request does not work (send the email). Irony is the head office was in Epsom, then moved to Leatherhead which is just a few miles away. Crazy.

Think twice before choos this company. This company take "double" from your account. Them don't set up direct debit in time and after that charge double. On phone answer person who don't understand what you ask straight away, when need answer on question direct. All phone talk about nothing.

There was a hiccup with the first direct debit payment we spotted this straight away and paid over the phone including the late payment charge. We then received letters stating if this happened again they would demand the full payment. They also said that they had informed the insurance company and I could get my insurance cancelled.
It made us paranoid to the point that when the second payment went out we kept checking our bank account to make sure the payment hadn't been returned to my bank, as it had the first time.
I found this company to be very intimidating..

Have had repeated issues , trying to pay this company, have failed to make a payment online, failed to get through on the telephone, the automated system continually repeats itself , so you get nowhere. I have now posted them a cheque to pay my house insurance outright.

They set up a Direct Debit on my child's saving account with my knowledge. Been taking money for six months without my knowing. I don't even know who Premium Credit are. Can't get through on the phone. Going in to see my Bank to sort this out. The Bank however advised that Direct Debits are not usually taken from children's account. How on earth did Premium Credit get the details is beyond me. I don't even know the number without looking at the passbook and have never taken any more out since it was opened 11 years ago. I AM NOT HAPPY!

Dora Legotse unfortunately could not grasp the cost to Premium Credit in terms of future business they have now lost from my personal and business use. I will insist my broker uses an alternative credit facility when renewing policies.

i got a email through go compare saying your car insurance is due soon please act fast , i never thought nothing of it as they sent me some quotes from other companys that was well cheaper , saying i had a few days left to renew so i signed up to grove and dean , then had my agrrement with premium credit ? little did i know i allready had my car insurance with aa and was 8 months in ! how they set up my car insurance and took payments off me i dont know , but this is scandalous ! it should have shown my car was already insured but they still sold it me , should be against the law that ! anyway 2 months gone and im still trying to get my money back , and they make it impossible to contact them . how these companys get away with this is beyond me !

Almost impossible to contact, timed out whilst reading terms and conditions - Note the APR is over 23% my original quote showed 11.7% but failed to point out that this figure was the flat rate. Would give 0 stars if possible. Paid extra to have direct debit go out on a particular date which they didnt do. Took payment early causing bank charges. Refused to admit mistake or even help. When they finally moved the payment ended up with them takinh two payments in the same month. Appalling organisation have lodged a formal complaint with ths FSA and the ombudsman.

We can keep track of our account on the web site which is very useful. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Absolutely shocking company, Premium Credit, Premium Rate Phone number....this is the second time in a month that i have been left on the phone for more than 15 minutes listening to that hideous tune, money taken from my account on the wrong date and then put on hold for an additional 9 mins while they listened back to MY call, at my expense from the previous call, information requested at the beginning of the call from an automated service and then asked the SAME information by the advisor once you get through, if this is standard practice it needs to stop...and this happens EVERY time i call, are they being trained to keep us on hold for a certain amount of time knowing its premium rate,? i would love to know how many other people this has happened too....if i don't get an adequate answer within 8 weeks, the time frame stipulated by the financial ombudsman, then i will take this further. My phone bills are higher than my insurance..!!!

People please be aware of this company. They are very difficult to reach. I have tried calling them numerous times between work and all occasions, failed to get through to an advisor.

They only wants our money and will try tie you into a contract with small loopholes that benefit the company and put you in a sticky predicament.

Insure the Box cancelled my policy and they tried to still charge me! After writing a lengthy email to explain why I can t pay anymore because I don t have a fricking policy!!!
