I love this hotel, I've been staying here for about 4 years now everytime for my birthday around end of June always have a great experience, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious which I love compare to most rooms in Vegas on ths strip. And the best part you are in the middle of the strip so your not far from the strip to do pool parties or nightclubs I definitely recommend this hotel

From check in to checkout, we had a great five night stay at the Platinum. The 16th floor room gave us a few of Bally's, the Flamingo, Bellagio, Caesar's, the Rio, Paris and others, without the noise and commotion of casino hotels on the Strip. The in house restaurant and bar are both very nice, with reasonable prices. With an in-room washer & dryer, there are no dirty clothes to pack.

Next time, I'll rent a car at the airport instead of taking an Uber so I can visit a grocery store and stock the kitchen and refrigerator. (There is an Enterprise office right across the street at the Westin, so car returns are easy if you just keep it for one day.)

A great hotel, about 300 meters away from the strip. The rooms, or should you say apartments are very large and spacious. With a kitchen, huge bathroom and extra bedroom, the rooms are more like apartments. The staff at the front desk is very fredunlich. In the afternoon you should not miss such a happy hour!

I'm sitting here in the kitchen after such a long and exhausting flight, And this is my 1st time n Las Vegas,My husband and I are celebrating our 12th yr anniversary and we have stumbled into this den(The platinum hotel) of liars, they saw us coming,as the saying goes, took our money for food, and did NOT delivered as they said they would, It's not even just about the money, It's the principle, Never Again Will I Darken There Doorsteps Again,NEVER,And I Wouldn't recommend anyone else to, Because u will b very disappointed, This Is my first night experience in LasVegas, So I'm Looking For Another Hotel To Transfer to, To finish out my stay!!!

The Platinum Hotel is a condo-style hotel a half-mile from the Strip.

I booked the "Solitaire Suite Strip View" on Hotels.com. I was in Room 503, and the photos on Hotels.com were generally accurate. One photo showed a fireplace, but the room didn't have one. My suite, like most if not all of their suites, had a full kitchen and homey but boring decor. People online say they had washers and dryers in their rooms, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

The suite has a furnished balcony with a view of the Strip. It's not bad for an off-Strip view of the Strip, but much of what you see in front of you is a parking lot or back lot.

Some of their kitchen equipment could have been better. The coffee maker was a cheap coffee maker that probably didn't cost more than $30 and the inside was covered in coffee residue. I called to have a tea kettle brought up. It came wrapped in a plastic bag 5 minutes later. It looked like a $10 kettle, and it was partly broken, though it was usable.

Other than the inside of the coffee machine, the room was clean.

The nightstands have plenty of outlets and USB ports.

The desk has one electrical outlet and no USB ports, but was OK for working on a laptop. Wi-Fi was slow: Google's speed meter registered 7 Mbps down, 9 Mbps up. That's barely enough to watch a video online at medium quality.

The Platinum Hotel has made extensive changes for the pandemic. Daily housekeeping has been suspended. You can call for things like towels or toilet paper, but I didn't need to do that since I was only there for 5 days. There are hand sanitizer stations everywhere--more than I've seen at other hotels and resorts. Elevators have social distancing markers, tissues, garbage cans, and hand sanitizer. Staff wear masks. Plexiglass barriers at the front desk. I didn't run into too many other guests, so there's social distancing by default.

Safety changes affect the rooms as well. The kitchens are usually fully equipped, but at this time, they've removed the cookware. Items for dining are still present: utensils, plates, coffee maker, dishwasher detergent, etc. Tongs, baking dishes, frying pans, etc. are available only upon request. The TV remote in the living room was wrapped in a plastic sleeve; strangely the TV remote in the bedroom wasn't.

Many of the hotel's services are shut down. The spa, restaurant, and lounge are closed. They have grocery delivery, although I didn't use it. I don't think they have room service. The pool is open for some reason.

They have a "Platinum Market," which is basically a closet with a few convenience store type products. They're overpriced, especially given that there are 3 convenience stores with reasonable prices on the same intersection.

The elevators are not keycard-secured. This might make food delivery easier.

The ATM in the lobby charges a $5 fee per transaction, $300 maximum, $20s only.

There's a dumb, semi-hidden, mandatory $28/night resort fee. It makes even less sense now since most of the resort is closed.

Although The Platinum Hotel is a half-mile from the Strip, it feels like it's much further away. It was 115 degrees during the day during my stay, and walking half a mile in 115 degree weather isn't exactly pleasant. The immediate area around the hotel looks nothing like the Strip. It's quiet. There are some gas stations, convenience stores, hotels, condos. There's an electrical substation across the street. There are a lot of homeless in the vicinity. I saw at least one every time I left the hotel. One of them decided to set up camp on one of the hotel's pedestrian walkways, blocking it, and refused to move when confronted by hotel security.

Overall, The Platinum Hotel is one of the safer hotels at the moment. Not the most fun, but close enough to the Strip.

Our room was huge, had full size kitchen, jacuzzi, washing mashine, fireplace, great view on Las Vegas, and it is just 10 min walking to the strip.

Rates are very affordable and very quite at night.

Loved this place! So glad we stayed here. Everything we requested was fulfilled 100%. I can't believe the place for the price. We stayed in luxury right off the strip for a fraction of the price. I recommend this place for anyone, especially for people with families since it's no smoking and no gambling.

If you're not a gambler or just want a quieter hotel, this place is for you! All of the rooms are suites and VERY spacious.
My husband and I have been going here for YEARS and it doesn't disappoint.

We booked this hotel as we were keen to step out of the chaotic hustle and bustle of Vegas. This hotel is perfect, 3/4 minute walk to the main strip, great facilities and very accommodating staff. Rooms are fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Prices were great too.

Booked a suite at this hotel for mom's birthday. It was great! Free valet is handy when you're tired of hunting for parking everywhere else in Vegas lol.

This suite is good for people who drive. Although there are bus stops nearby, there are no shuttles to/from the strip here. But I had a car so i was ok with that. Parking isn't that bad anyway.

honestly it was a really great suite. the only suggestion is to make sure you run your bath water & test the jacuzzi jets to make sure they're clean. Our jets shot mysterious black pieces out of them.

Just a stone's throw away from the Las Vegas Strip handy too everything next door to Tuscany Hotel for a Greyhound pick up for the Grand Canyon tour.
The Platinum is comfortable clean and has very large rooms with views forever

The Platinum is my go to spot whenever I come to Vegas. It's just a block off the strip, and every room is a suite. The staff are all awesome and cater to your every need. Valet on site. It's a four star hotel, without the four star price. I can't recommend it enough.

I stayed in the princess suite twice now. Full kitchen, living room, balcony (with a view of strip and mountains the later in my opinion being better) an awesome tub for two or one with a lot of wiggle room. Beds are amazing, if I wasn't in Vegas I probably would have slept in a lot more. I haven't tried the food or wine tasting but it looks promising. Pool and pool parties are fun. And the short wall to the strip makes it a really convenient spot. I went to two shows on the strip, only had to walk for 5 to 7 min to get anywhere good. The reason I took a star off was because of check out time. A lot of people were checking out at 1100 so traffic was really tight in the small turn around spot. Witnessed on two occasions cars rub against each other. Recommend checking out before it gets to busy. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends if they want to go to Vegas. Have fun and gamble on the right numbers. ;)

If I could give zero stars I would. One of the most unsavory hotel experiences I have ever had. The WORST staff and service. They have been charging my card several times without my consent after my stay. When I call to ask what they charging it for they put me on hold or hang up on me. During my stay I wasn t allowed to have anyone come up to my room unless they had a room key. We were told it could take up to TWO hours for the valet to bring our car around but we were absolutely not allowed to retrieve the car ourselves. Full kitchen does not include dish towels or oven mitts. In fact they don t have a single oven mitt in the entire hotel. (??) 0/10 would recommend.

Rooms are really nice, with almost everything you can think of i.e. Seperate hall with big couch , large screen TV, Fireplace, big kitchen with induction Cooktop and large oven and large fridge with included utensils, coffe machine , washing machine with large dryer, then there is bed room which has large comfortable beds, bathroom is fabulous, the bath tub is large and have head cushions, there is separate shower cubicle too. And the best part balcony with a fabulous view of the city/desert.

Great hotel just one block off the main strip. Service is excellent, with an virtual assistant that you can text for any help. Really fantastic staff who even remember which car our family had. Totally recommended.

This hotel is a treasure, just two blocks from Bally's behind the strip. The room is large, the suite we live in is about 1200 square feet and has a partial view of the viewing area, but some rooms have a view of the entire area. The bar downstairs is very low-key and the service is great, and the happy hour here is especially good from 4 to 7 o'clock. I haven't had a chance to try the pool and the in-house restaurant, but I heard that it is first class.

Friendly staff, great and clean rooms, and close to the strip. I got a suite for a short work trip that had a full kitchen, living room with a fireplace, a balcony, and a HUGE tub. I also got massage at the spa that was great and super relaxing. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This place tries to be really high class but fails miserably. They forbid you from carrying your bags in or out of the room from your car, but the valet boy stole some of our things on both of those trips. They won't let you access your own car because of their mandatory valet service. Also when we were in our suite, they wouldn't provide us anything. We ordered room service, we were charged for it and never got it. I had to sleep on the pull out couch bed and and after three calls and 8 hours, the front desk still wouldn't send up any sheets or blankets even though they said they would. Also they charge more than the strip even though they aren't close

Great rooms, hotel location, bathroom and kitchen. Just 2 blocks away from the strip with a huge tub and separate shower. The kitchen is great with an oven, stove, dishwasher and all. Why not 5 stars? This place is probably great if you're down here to just party, but when you're down for business and weeks at a time, only 3 drawers for 2 people is not great and the TV's are a bit small. But still amazing for a great price.

Visited a friend. Valet was very obnoxious and kept saying "take care of us, we take care of you." Long story short, came back and my car had a 1 1/2 inch deep scratch on the rear bumper. Submitted an incident report to management. They said I would be called for additional info. Nothing until now. Maybe because I wasn't checked in? All in all, bad management. Your front people should be one of your best. They are the first and last people your guests see.

Large room, great view, and close to strip with a lot less noise. Would give perfect score, but valet only parking got very pricey. Makes you want to walk more instead of tipping everytime.

Only a block and a half off the strip. That is a "Vegas block", this hotel is well worth a "check out". All the rooms in the hotels are suites. We had a basic suite, that came with a king size bed and a pull-out couch for the kids. Bathrooms are very spacious and all bathrooms come with a separate shower and two person bath tub/hot tub. All Suites come with full kitchenettes, which comes in handy and allows you to save money while staying in Vegas. As far as getting groceries your choices are to use the pharmacies along the strip, or there are a couple of mini-marts close to the hotel. The better option is to use "Vons" grocery store delivery system. One of the best features of this hotel is that it has a heated pool which allows it to be used in the winter months (there are not many pools that are opened in Vegas in December). There's also hot tub. All of this is on the 5th floor of the hotel, which allows for some spectacular views of Vegas at night time. If you are a fan of steam rooms make sure you go to the spa in the hotel and use the steam room. There is a full bar and restaurant at the hotel. While we did not use the restaurant. The bar was used by both my wife and I. There's a happy hour from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. there is free wine for all guests. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had an excellent time at this hotel.

Loved the rooms and the staff was very helpful with getting me checked in late after delayed flights and having to drive from LA. Even got complimentary wine for my 1st stay. Will be back soon.

The spa was absolutely incredible! an experience like no other. I went for a massage and facial for my birthday and the staff honestly treated me like a queen. From the moment I checked in until I departed 5 stars. They even gave me a complimentary bottle of champagne for my birthday, great surprise will definitely go back again!

I didn't stay in the hotel but wife and I used the spa. It was excellent and one of the less expensive options near the strip. The surrounding were comfortable, dark, and soothing. They have a pool, sauna, and around therapy options in addition to messages. It was time will spent.
