My fiancee and I came here for our anniversary and we enjoyed ourselves the whole time.
We did a package deal that included dinner, breakfast and a live band in the theater.
Hi Infidelity is the name of the band. They rocked it! We didnt have to go outside of the hotel to get to the theater area either. Just follow the signs where we needed to go. That was nice, because it was a rainy night.
I had asked if an early check in was possible and the young lady I spoke with, Michelina, told me it's possible if the room is ready before our check in time. I told her thanks. We did get here early and got lucky! Our room was ready before check in time and proceeded to enjoy our stay.
The staff here is outstanding, friendly and accomadating.
Thanks for another wonderful time Pheasant Run!!!!!

The customer service and valet provided was great here. I attended a wedding and birthday celebration over there over the weekend. I liked it not to stay on the property because some of the rooms are older and I did not want to chance being placed in one -- like my family members experienced. Nevertheless, the venue is still very popular and drew large crowds over the weekend for various events.

We were there for the Ovation Dance Challenge. Nice place & nicely ran however, my only complaint was the venue was extremely hot!! ... in the audience and especially in the dressing rooms for the girls who were performing!! Even though it was in the middle of February they should have considered turning on the air! ...that's how very hot it was!

The staff was very nice and pleasant to talk to, and it is enjoyable walking Bourbon Street and seeing everything going on was fun. However the room was not worth the money spent. While the bed was comfortable and the view was great, there were stains on the sheets, the blanket looked to be pretty old. Wallpaper was peeling in certain places. The towels didn't smell clean, and the shower head was rusted all over and one of the handles was coming loose. The water gathered up over my ankles as I showered. For $200+ that I spent I was very disappointed in the quality of everything.

I haven't been here for several years until this past Saturday night. Pheasant Run is so run down it's a shame. Food at the Harvest restaurant was subpar to say the least. As soon as we walked into the building near to Zannies the musty order hit us in the face. Wow, this place needs an overhaul asap.

I was at pheasant run for the all Canada show. Pheasant run is very clean and the event was well done. Plenty of parking was available and the venue seemed updated within the last 10 years. Staff was friendly.

We why there for a birthday party... The ordered food was almost 2 hours late... There was supposed to be access to the pool... But the doors wouldn't open. First time here and it was disappointing

It was beautiful and the one problem we had the staff fixed very quickly. The one thing that holds me back from giving 5 stars is that the interior of the amazing room we were staying in was just dated and slightly musty smelling. The shower was quite large with a tiny soap dish for storage no shelving or a bench. So there wasn't any place to put shampoo conditioner etc and the location of the shower head was just uncomfortable. In addition there needs to be some sort of lighting added to the shower area it was dark. The whirlpool tub was amazing and the overall feel was great. Parking was hit or miss you either found a spot near your room or you had to park all the way in front and walk around through the lobby and other wings. The bourbon street idea is great just not very well executed. The harvest restaurant had great food and the staff was awesome. Will definitely stay again.

I rarely post reviews, but feel called to in this instance. Our family (who flew/drove from various parts of the nation) had an exceptional time during our stay at Pheasant Run for the 2014/2015 NYE celebration. Live band was the only venue and accommodated diverse age group (e.g. 20's to ???), fun activities on Bourbon street (e.g.quick change picture shots etc). Price seemed to be incorporated into the stay and seemed reasonable. We had a fabulous time. Fast forward. Since our family had such a fabulous time, we decided to meet up at this venue again for NYE 2018/2019. But this time, when visiting the website there were different selections for the music venue. Either's 80's DJ or Live Band. We chose the live band due to our previous experience and for the diversity of genre (not just 80's genre). it was very expensive, but we agreed to do so. Turned out the general age of those attending seemed generally 60+ (most likely due to the price of the venue). Our group ranged in age from 30+ onwards... One couple in our group has young children who wanted to also have their children take part in the children's activities (This was a wonderful experience for them BTW!.. and this part deserves a higher ranking). This couple negotiated the cost of the Live Band Gala to incorporate the children's venue with Pheasant Run prior to attending. On the day of the gala, somehow this negotiation was not noted and they needed to pay even more money to enter the Gala to be with our family, but had already missed the meal! Regarding the meal, most really enjoyed the option of Surf and Turf. For me, I am vegetarian so not having another option was a bit of a disappointment. I dealt with it. Also there was to be champaign served for the ringing in of the New Year. We did not receive this. In 2014/2015, waiters came around and served us. This did not happen. The following morning, a brunch was served. Again in 2014/2015 this was beautifully done in a large ballroom, white table cloths, ability to navigate food options easily. around centralized islands. It was beautiful. This time, when checking in, even though we had our green slips (indicating we had paid for the Gala), the greeter asked us for our 'reservations'. What? Then she needed to speak with the manager. Then she chose to seat us near the bussing staff area. I asked to be moved to a somewhat better location. One needed to stand in a long line to be served, etc etc. Also our bed was not refreshed/made by housekeeping between the nights we stayed at the resort. While we as a family celebrated and made the best of the time we had together, we will not be returning. This was so disappointing. We will choose to hold our 2014/2015 experience in high regard. Again, I rarely make reviews, but felt this one would be helpful for all concerned. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Every time my family comes to this part of the country we stay at Pheasant Run. The service nor the accommodations ever disappoint. There are multiple swimming pools, if you like swimming, and several good restaurants.

I attended the Art and Craft show this weekend .The Catered food they have for this event is really bad. I had 2 rock hard,
no flavor slices of pizza. And they have the nerve to charge $5 a slice.
They will never, ever see any more of my money again.
My advice to anyone who eats that food.
Bring the Pepto Bismol.

im not sure why ppl give this place more than 2 stars. ill be detailed. first it took me over 25 min to check in because thier computer kept crashing. number 2 we go to our room the room is spacious and the view is nice however the bathtub is all riusy old and gross and the toliets are on such low settings u have to wait ten min in between each flushing. i aked for champaign glasses 3 times and finally got them the third time. swarming with kids !!! if u want a romatic nice organized place be aware !!! we went to the pool area over 50 kids diving screaming and running everywhere (mind u the pool isnt huge ) plus a lady was on the pool deck w her dog. there were even kids in the hottub unattended splashing and going under the water w goggles (in a hott tub!!) we asked for more towels to be delivered to our room and recieved them in a plastic garbage bag! also air conditioner never shuts off the temp gadges dont work so dont even bother. even checking in we had wedding dress 2 suitcases and a purse to lug up to the 15th floor and not evn a bellhop or no one that offered to bring ur suitcases up ! im so disguisted w this place and this staff. be aware !!!!!

It was probably considered fancy in the 70s, but it looks like it hasn't been updated since. The grounds are much nicer than the interior, which is dirty and smells old. The carpets are shabby and stained, the cleaning is not very thorough, all the surfaces felt sticky, the fabrics everywhere you look are frayed or threadbare, and the style is definitely caught in a time warp. Would never waste my money on this place again.

I came to see a show at the theater so was only here for a couple hours. Therefore I cannot rate the resort itself but the little theater was nice. The air conditioning was super cold, I was freezing even with a hoodie on. I saw many others wearing their jackets so I'd recommend a sweater or something to keep warm if cold bothers you

Very nice. Many entertainment venues but none available on Sunday. The hot tub by the pool is only 'warm'. Staff says the temp is set by health regulations. I've been to other hot tubes on other hotels in the area and all were at least 10 degrees warmer.

We stayed in the golf rooms which are a little outdated, the door to the room sticks to the point it needs to be slammed to shut properly or a good push to even open it, I turned on the ac and immediately it gave off a horrible smell I sprayed a lot of my perfume and opened the window to help with the smell.
I expected a lot better food from such a nice place, the chicken was like rubber in my jambalaya and the breakfast buffet in the morning I expected real scrambled eggs instead of powdered for 16.00 a person, I had to pay an extra 4.00 just for real eggs.
The entertainment was great they had a live band that was really good.
The staff was always very nice and helpful.
Overall is was an ok experience I can t say we will go back considering the prices versus the quality of everything

Its ok

We stayed a night here during New Year's Eve, We we're very disappointed in the place. First let start with, yes it was winter at the time but you would think the place would be warm and comfortable, not here, the check in desk is way to close to the main doors so Everytime someone came in you got a very cold shot and it stayed that way, so checking in was very uncomfortable. Then the long walk to our room was even cold, good luck finding heaters. Now let me start about the room or should I call it a ice box. The heat was not even on in the room so we turned it on and up but it took hours to get the room sightly comfortable. The bed covers, well all I can say is I have had better covers in the hospital, very thin and uncomfortable. I guess they are hoping you spend money getting drunk at all their bars that you won't care about the room. But the pool area was very warm because the pool is a indoor outdoor pool so they have to hear that part. We went there to celebrate New Year's because we have not gotten out in years and we won't forget this one for sure now. Not planning on going back anytime soon that's for sure. Much better places to stay for the money. The only reason they get 2 stars is there is lots of entertainment there.

N / A

Although the resort is very family friendly, it s a bit worn and outdated. However, I recommend staying in the tower because it is newer, well appointed, and more accessible to resort amenities.

Although the bellman and maintenance crew were terrific handling the inclement weather (the walkways got flooded during the storm), front desk service lacked efficiency and situational awareness.

As a woman staying there by herself for the weekend, it s not safe to announce my room number in front of a crowded lobby or assign a first floor room in a location that is poorly lit and inaccessible to parking or well trafficked areas. I asked him to reassign the room and NOT speak it out loud ... whatever happened to hotel discretion?!

Lastly, coffee. There is poor access to coffee and the gift shop coffee really left me lacking. It s 2019, good coffee shops are as important as bars these days. They really need to leave the 90s behind them.

Worst customer service. Adam behind the front desk should not be the go to when guests have a problem. Completely unprofessional. Key card problems locking us out of our room. He insisted on an ID to get it fixed.... But if your ID is in the very room they locked you out of!?! Oh but its not a problem, according to Adam. Sarcastically he insists HE did not lock me out of my room, its just plastic, its not a big deal, it happens. I heard this repeatedly. But it is a problem when he wont let me back into my room without my ID.... Which is in the said room that their system locked me out of. Which also includes all of mine an my sons belongings, our shoes, my car keys, my wallet.
Oh but wait! Adam saw I had my phone so I can log onto Facebook. Why I asked? He said it has my picture.... I thought this has to be some kind of joke. He insists on my ID because they have to be thorough an know it is in fact me ...but anyone can be anyone on facebook, honestly. And no, my picture is not my profile picture.
He called someone over to take us to our room. The man walked way ahead, I'm not even sure he knew we were following him. (I'm sure he did) He did not slow down, we finally met up at my room. Key still did not work. He had to take out his master key to let me in an waited to see my ID.
Checking into one of two of the rooms, it smelled like a barn, manure. Trying to find the source of the smell, checking under the beds there was beer bottle caps, pens, an crumbled up paper. Shouldn't housekeeping have had this all cleaned up!? Never found the source, it had to be from the carpet.
Upon checking out I asked for the manager. I felt like I was being rushed, heard the fake, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, the head nod, an the, I hope you give us another try... Speech. That was it. I got the impression I was wasting my time, as well as his.
No I will not give this place another go, but I do want others to know about this experience. I have years of working not only in customer service, but in the hotel environment. This place is really a joke.

We booked the summer splash package deal and our experience at pheasant run was excellent. the entire staff was more than helpful they were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. We changed our room that we wanted three times after checking in and they accommodated us no problem and even put rush on cleaning the room. We loved the rooms with the sliding patio doors for easy access to the pool. while there we lost our camera checked every where couldn't find it and later that evening some honest person staying at the hotel turned it in to the front desk which was a nice surprise. The pool girl helped us recover some pool toys that came up missing. We were also asked by the hotel staff numerous times if we needed anything. Excellent job pheasant run!

Disgusting from check in to check out! We were attending a wedding nearby and the bride and groom had a room block. We called ahead to make sure we could check in early because the wedding was early afternoon, they said it would not be s problem since they weren t 100 % booker the night before.
We arrived at 12:30 and were told checkin was 4:00. Obviously this wasn t going to work. The brides parents were also trying to check in and they were given the same answer. The front desk manager Jessie could not have been more rude and condescending. Finally the brides parents got in at 1:45 their photos started at 2:30.
We had to wait additional time for our room because it didn t pass inspection. Stained sheets they said.
When we got in our room it was disgusting. Stale smell, hairs in the bathroom, unkept grouting, super outdated.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

My boys and I attended the Muskie fishing show today and we had good time. While the show was a bit small, they had a good variety of vendors and booths to visit. The only reason I gave four stars I'll instead of five was because they only took cash at the ticket counter. I just find that odd when many of the vendors inside can swipe cards.
