Went to the panuc room, first time I every did one of these games. Wasn't bad, no way you could have done it with extra clues. I would say what I know about these games this would have been ranked average.

Hotel is very dated and in desperate need of a major renovation. The food was sub par and the service was awful. We were there for two days and they never came to our room once to clean or restock towels. We also got yelled at by multiple staff members for walking around with our own food and drinks. Well sorry, if your food didn't suck and your drinks weren't ridiculously overpriced, perhaps I wouldn't have ran to the store to get my own. Very disappointing weekend.

Employees are very nice. Hotel needs repairs and upgrades. Refrigerator in room did not work, I let then know and nothing was done. Water runs non stop in toilet. I like the place but it needs a facelift.

We had a golfing event and the staff was super friendly and helpful! We were there at 6:30 in the morning and they were still all smiles. Would definitely golf here again for the staff!

I just went here for the first time for "Combo Breaker" a video game tournament. This place is huge and even tho it was packed, there was plenty of room and I did not feel Cramped. A great venue for any convention like event.

For anyone out far west of the city, this place has everything you end on site. Restaurants, comedy club, theater, golf, and tons of cool chill areas and pools. Stay the weekend and get a deal on a package. It's worth it. Just make sure to stay in the tower and ask for a room that faces East or South.

I went there for the Home Show. There was free admission and parking. But it was half the size from previous years. There were lots of interesting products that seemed overpriced.

The hotel is tired n old, lots of deffered maintenance peeling paint every where outside. Upon entering room air did not work after three engineers came they finally fixed it at 8:30 at night however it was 90 plus degrees that day also the TV only got one channel that worked the hotel is just old lots of nice amenities in it bars and restaurants

Beds comfy, service strange... Don't lose your pool wrist band, don't do businesses in bourbon St when there's a wedding, it was very awkward coming out of an escape room into a full out wedding.... Drinks at the beach bar were strong and awesome bartender was friendly... Rooms need a little tlc but are good size... Wheelchair access is hard and very limited... Pool access hidden and not wheel chair accessible. This property is very cool and unique but needs updating.

I was so dissapointed with the stay here. For $225 a night this place was joke. The room was the most run down thing I have ever seen. They had an old
Box tv were every channel was jumpy. Stains and holes in the carpet. The outdoor balcony that was advertised was a first floor outdoor area with a broken arm chair. Not to mention the whole pool was overrun with kids. We finally found the inside one and there was about 12 people in the hot tub. Eight were kids under the age of ten and three were infants... in the hot tub! Turns out they just lived in the area and weren't even staying that the hotel. They were loud and rude and kept splashing us. They go there because there is no card access to their pools or rooms. Not to mention how dangerous and wet the pool area was. No one kept up with it and was shoken wet to a point of where it was dangerous to walk. Oh and did I mention we were on a dog floor and are room reaked of old dogs... for 225 a night! This place is literally a joke and waste of money. I want a refund or some of my money back, but honestly didn't even fight it in person because I wanted to get the hell out of the place. When I was checking out I had 3 angry customers ahead of me. No one looked happy.

I'm 40 and have been going there since I was a kid. We have been taking our now 10 yr old daughter twice a year since she was 5 yrs old. She says it's best hotel ever and loves the tower rooms and indoor/outdoor pool. Recently stayed Thanksgiving week 2019. Unfortunately, it appears to be shutting down some time after the new year and haven't had the heart to break the news to her

I attended the Mega Center for the Combo Breaker 2018 event. The venue is amazing and huge. I would recommend booking your event at this anytime. Parking space is gigantic and there is a Walgreens 5 minutes away if anything of urgency is needed.

I think that they might be in the middle of reconstruction but the rooms are terrible. I had a handicap room and the shower leaked every time we showed and wet the carpet and the carpet started stinking. We let reception know immediately and they said maintenance would come in 20 minutes. It took 4 hours and all they did was clean up the water but they told us they fixed It. So next time we showered of course It did the same thing. It ruined our experience.

This place is too expensive for how cheap they are about everything. Unless you get a suite your room is poorly maintained and they under pay their staff for the amount of work they have to do. Tip your maids!

Facilities are outdated, no cell reception in the "megacenter." Rooms are awful... Only nice thing about it is the golf course... Everything is outdated. They run out of vegetables every day. Nothing to do around the area either unless you want to drive an hour.

$240 a night (weekday price) for a suite that was due for a renovation 20 years ago! There is not enough space to list all of the issues with the suite. Things were literally falling apart. Peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, toilet, tile grout and jacuzzi tub jets, black splotches on several towels, downstairs shower inoperative, and plumbing access panel flops open every time you open the closet, just to name a few. If we were not there for an onsite event we would have left. My tip; stay at the Hilton across the street if you have an event here, you can easily walk from there.

Let me start by saying that we go every year around christmas time, and used to love it. This year however we vowed to find a new tradition. Our favorite part is the indoor/outdoor pool, it's so cool when it snows and you can swim under the divider and pop your head up in the snowy weather while your body stays warm in the pool. They also have another indoor pool that the kids love. The rooms are in desperate need of updating, the bathrooms are pretty gross looking, something about stained bathtubs and dirty grout that makes me cringe. From the minute we arrived and checked in we had problems with the customer service, but no biggie we got to our rooms and still made the best of it. Then we found the bed bugs. No further explanation needed. Granted we never had issues before, but once was enough to not go back. Used to be a cute place, but its noticeably going downhill.

After staying here for four days I left with a sour taste over my experience. This hotel rented the Rex center out to the acs pool tournament and there staff couldn't be more disrespectful to the guests that stay here. I would hope that they never rent to this organization again. Two thumbs down! I hope the hotel takes its customers opinions to heart and holds the acs staff accountable for its disgraceful behavioe. Furthermore after talking to hotel staff they only backed up the event. I'm sure it's about the money! I will never stay here again!

It's a descent place for events, lodging is comparable to American best value inn. It's mainly golf I guess. I went there for an event in their hall and there were people playing golf all day through weekdays.

Love it

I expect more from a resort hotel... Like having restaurants open for customers, especially when they know there are at least 2 huge events booked in the centers. Also don't have anything on menus for vegetarian diets.... Nothing.

I booked a room 5 months in advance and held the reservation with my credit card. When I arrived I was told I did not have a reservation and there were no rooms available. I had to stay across the street. 5 days later they charged my card $144 for not checking in!! WTF

The only thing about our stay here was good the staff.......That s it.

The rooms were ridiculously old beyond old. Why do we still have pregnant TVs (big TVs with the hug box in the back) in 2019 that only had a few working channels considering the price of this place????????

The shower water smelt like an egg gone extremely bad. I couldn t even feel clean after my showers nor did I feel safe using it to brush my teeth (used bottled water we got from Walmart)

Our rooms were dirty upon arrival and you can tell the place was not properly cleaned at all because our couches had so many stains in it I only sat in one spot, our toilets were brown and had so many ewness I literally just felt sad to even pee in there, and overall the vibe of the room was just unclean, dusty and gross.

I was honestly happier when I stepped out of the resort and immediately felt bummed returning back here.
I felt sooooooooooooooooooooo uncomfortable I was counting down the seconds until I left.

This place has potential and can do better. Their golf courses are more attended to than the rooms.S M H

And this is coming from a highly optimistic person....

I stayed here for a dance camp. At the end of a long hard day of work I just wanted to go back to my room, take a nice shower, and go to sleep, but that was not possible. The water smelled like eggs, it tasted like eggs, and it was black. Not grey, not brown, but black. Not only that, but my keycards did not work after the third day, making me take a trip to the front desk with my entire room. There were blood stains on the walls, the room smelled terrible everytime I turned on the sink or shower, and I had to drink out of water bottles, brush my teeth with them and wash my face with them. Not something I would expect from any hotel.

The ancient air conditioner in my room was like a freight train rolling past the bed every few minutes. It didn't seem to be cooling the room much on top of that. The alarm clock went off at 6:30 AM, cannot be unplugged and looks like it cannot be turned off for future guests since it is also from the last century.
My employer picked this place, it is not comfortable or relaxing in any way. I will never be back.

Nice course. Challenging but fair. Greens were in good shape as were fairways. However EVERY sandtrap was full of water!
That issue should have been tended to. Also, the par 3's had NO stone/ yardage marker on the tee-box (you have to trust yardage on scorecard, I guess.) Also it would have been nice (for a Resort course) to have carts with GPS. Nice friendly staff!!
Overall good time.

Nice

This is my third stay at this hotel. The first year was just ok. Last year things started to unravel. This year was the topper, thus the review. First let me say I have stayed at some elite hotels in the US and abroad. I have also stayed at lesser expensive places like Holiday Inn. I was at Pheasant Run with my significant other for a show he had this weekend. I almost didn't post this because we didn't pay for the room, but I don't want to come back next year because of how dissatisfied I am with the room. First of all, the room smelled horrible. I checked with other guests, all the rooms smelled. I purchased air fresheners. It smelled like sewage. The curtains didn't close and had cigarette burns in them. Several spots on the wall had tape holding up the wallpaper. The furniture was warn and tattered, tube style TV. No fridge, no microwave. When we went out to eat I had to leave leftovers in the car. Lucky for me it was cold enough and the food froze. When I called the desk about access to a microwave they seemed shocked I didn't have a microwave. They said they couldn't help me. I then went to one of the of the restaurants and asked them to reheat for me. The other major issue for us was the amount of noise in the hallway. There was a child care room 2 doors down from us that was open until midnight. There was no consideration from the other guests. Several times I opened the door and asked them to quiet down. They where running and screaming down the hallway at 10 and 11 pm! I was so frustrated with my stay. I wasn't the only one. Come to find out my neighbor checked in at the hotel across the street for their second night. I wish I had thought of that. I realize I had a "free night" but it certainly wasn't free in my book. I paid for it with a poor night sleep. I couldn't wait to check out. Next year if I'm asked to tag along my answer with be "absolutely not!" I really hope you don't charge the rates posted on the back of the door because $250 a night for that room is very overpriced. For that price it should have had some amenities. It's unfortunate. Last year I spent time in your spa. This year I chose to spend my time and money in town. It's a shame because this hotel has a great potential to be something great. I would have preferred a Holiday Inn because it probably wouldn't have smelled of sewage. That was the worst part of the whole experience.

Just realized this is under my son's profile. But all my comments are how I feel.

My wife and I spent a night here to get some time away from the kids (just for one night). Great place and tons if things to do in the resort proper. Just down the street is plenty of shops and restaurants if you get bored. We stayed in the tower, which at first doesn't seem as fun. But the view of the golf course and private airport was phenomenal.

Pheasant Run was a fun place to stay for the night and provided many things for us to do. Several pools, bars, restaurants, etc. As well as being nearby plenty of places to do. Only negative was that maid service never came.

I am so pleased with everything Pheasant Run had to offer our group. We had over 30 rooms booked for our wedding guests over the weekend. Pheasant Run went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms, the food, the bar scene, the pool and the hospitality was fantastic! I would high recommend any big group to stay here. Pheasant Run made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect!

Went for a two night stay over Spring Break with my family of 5. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room in The Tower and we asked for a rollaway bed which was perfect. It was pretty crowded during that time, but we were prepared. We went swimming in the morning in the heated outdoor pool and went again late at night, both times it wasn't that crowded. We went out for meals and to Cantigny for the kids to climb on the tanks and walk through the gardens/museums. An enjoyable couple of days.

I had a great experience here and my first visit to Chicago. I practically lived in this hotel. The food was fantastic and I ate breakfast buffet in what seemed an underpart of the hotel. Its been a year now but I definitely needed to give a review. I just had a 4night stay at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, i wanna give them 1 star and thats for room service.

I have stayed at this resort about a half dozen times, mostly for work.

This resort has seen better days. It has obviously outgrown it's parking situation. If you are staying there on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to walk because parking is scarce.

The staff is always friendly. The inside area that looks like New Orleans is pretty neat. The restaurants are ok. And the amenities are decent. The place needs some updating but for a quick weekend getaway that isn't too far, I would recommend it.
