This is the third auto-start (remote start) that I've purchased from Perfectionist Auto Sound in the last three years (bought a 2-way autotstart for my wife's 2012 Mazda 3 in late 2014, and another one for my daughters 2005 Mazda Tribute (which is a re-badged Ford Escape) in 2015, and with this purchase, a one-way remote for our 2016 Ford Transit vanpool. I have to say that each of the purchases/experiences have been identical, which is very, very good. They do exactly what they promise, when they promise, with no extra fees or surprises. In short, they've engendered a level of trust with them, which is worth quite a bit these days. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again...

Clean facility, friendly staff, and fair pricing. I had wanted to install a hidden kill switch on my GMC Sierra after a failed theft attempt and many other stolen GM trucks around Anchorage. After looking over my truck, they were able to offer a much more efficient kill switch, that automatically engaged with my key fob lock which is way easier. They charged me just $55 for the service which I felt was incredibly fair. Will be back.

The entire crew at Perfectionist go above and beyond. Specifically I dealt with Rob on the phone twice. He answered all my questions and got me an appointment fast. Aaron installed my 2-way autostart within a couple hours. Perfectionist was the best price...I called all around town. Intuitively I went with these guys and I'm so happy I did. Little touches like complimentary water in my truck and a 'thank you' note in the mail are little touches that go a long way. I will definitely recommend them to others.

In an industry that I've grown to expect filthy and unorganized showrooms and mouth breathing customer service, these folks are a real class act. I dropped my truck off the other day, hopped in a cab and the first thing the cabby said to me was "These people are really good. This is a good business". He then went on for the entire cab ride about how well they treated him. I could not agree more. Real professionalism in an industry where dirty shops, outdated product and poor customer service have become the norm. Walk into Perfectionist and you will see a huge clean showroom with modern products and helpful sales people. I was able to see their shop and it has to be the cleanest auto shop I've ever laid eyes upon. The salesperson Dave said "We want this to be the kind of place you feel comfortable bringing your Ferrari to." I for one would. Great job!!!

Bought the very popular $199 Remote Starter groupon right around Christmas time knowing full well we wouldn't be able to have it installed until mid February (I called before purchasing the groupon and Dave was upfront about the wait time). Dave was also upfront about the $150 upgrade we'd be offered to make it a two-way system which in the end we opted for and I'm glad we did. No leaving work only to find a cold car that didn't start. All-in-all $349 for a 3000' two-way Compustar Remote Starter installed has proved to be a darn good deal for us and I plan on buying another groupon for new car.

Another great experience with Perfectionist. I've done 2 remote starters with them and this time I did a complete upgrade to a starter. Everything was flawless. Everyone from the 2 people at the front desk to the person doing the installation kept me informed. I waited in the lobby this time and it was nice. Good TV and comfortable chairs.

I work in auto sales and with out exaggeration Over the past 4 years have probably sent about a 100 people to this shop including family and freinds. Never once have had a single negative experince. Anytime an issue has arrissed (nature of the beast for HID's) they always make it right. You may get a little cheaper quote else where for a similair product but the quality of work will not be the same nor the service both before and after the sale. Long story short you get what you pay for with these guys and its the only place I will take my business.

I had a horrible experience here!! I bought a car from lithia who partners with them! When they installed my auto start it worked for about a week, then it stopped. When I brought it back they said every now and then I d have to pop the hood and wiggle the device( that was normal). I said screw it and haven t used it since I shouldn t have to pop my hood and mess with a device to start it. What s worse is they refuse to own up and fix it I wouldn t recommend this place to any of my friends or family!
Just got an auto start put in my truck by Perfectionist. Understandably they were very busy but had it done by the end of the day. Wiring is very well done and is discreet, nothing is out of place. Staff was professional and explained the different models to best fit my needs. I'll definitely be going back if I upgrade or get audio work done.
We had our compustar autostart installed earlier this week and the service was amazing. From the beginning when we weren t sure which brand we wanted to go with (viper, compustar, etc.), to the install, and finally the pick up.

I made an appointment and they treated me great and gave me lots of information and help for me to diagnose a separate problem with my truck. They charged me only one hour labor though they did additional work, so i'm happy with their service and plan to return.

I will be the first to tell you I have gone to many lengths to avoid getting an autostart, but nontheless I finally decided it was time to get a autostart on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I used a groupon for the autostart and upgraded the system to a 2-way remote and added the drone mobile unit as well. Amari had originally set me up for my unit and i just got it installed a few days ago 9/27/13. I dropped it off at 9am and picked it up at 630ish it took a little longer than they originally told me, but it was no big deal. IT IS AN AUTOSTART INSTALLATION CUT THEM SOME SLACK! nonetheless during the extra 30 minutes I was getting my account set up for the drone so it really was not an issue. There were a few issues with them being no trunk release, and drone not working. Devin I believe his name was apologized and explained the reason was because when my account was originally created was done incorrectly and needed to have the drone reset, and asked for me to come back in the next day which was Saturday. The next day on my own time i came in and it was all resolved and I left happier than ever. It was not until later I noticed the Drone was not unlocking my vehicle so I again called them and informed them and they again told me to bring it in and they would resolve the issue. I did so today 9/30/13 and Devin once again apologized sincerely I must add and explained that when I was origianally set up by amari she put down the Drone-1000 and I needed the Drone-2000 which they ended up swapping the units out free of charge and got everything working flawlessly. THE END RESULT IS AMAZING!!!! I could not be happier with my decision of choosing Perfectionist. Yes, I had the issues with the system, but I take the hit for that due to not checking every feature then an there and informing them of any and all issues until they arose when I used the specific command I was just excited it autostarted! Regardless I love their facility and their customer service. If you have an issue after an install they WILL fix it and show you that you are PRIORITY every single time! everytime i brought my car in it was pulled in within minutes! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

My car was broken into 3 weeks ago which my deck and autostart and alot more was destroyed. After the car place that fixed everything else was done I took my car to Perfectionist to redo my deck and autostart. I have NEVER had amazing service like this place EVER. Dave and Amari was working the front desk and even though Amari was new with working there, she did amazing at customer service and did all that she could for me. My insurance company wanted them to just fix my autostart and deck but Dave called them himself and talked them into giving me an alarm and autostart combo (since I wanted to personally pay for an alarm anyways, which he gave me a deal on) so I would never have to deal with damages like I did before. Due to my insurance company taking forever to get back to them, they couldn't start till late but they were trying to go as fast as they could but still do good. I got there and my car wasn't done yet but I had to go back to work and they even took me back to work so I wouldn't have to get a cab. Apart of my alarm system wasn't working correctly (a windshield sensory alarm) the next day due to heat on the windshield and Dave had someone come out to wherever i was and fix it for me! I called them about several things to make sure I'm doing everything correct and Dave wasn't annoyed with me like some other places would have been! I highly recommend this place to everyone! I LOVE this business. If i want anything else done to my car in the future, I'm going to them.
I ve had 2 auto start/security systems installed by Perfectionist. I did my homework before deciding to use Perfectionist and I m very happy with the results. Their customer service was excellent and they completed the jobs on time as promised. The Compustar systems they ve installed have worked flawlessly. My only complaint was having to wait about two months for an appointment, but it was worth the wait for to have Perfectionist do the job! When you re the best, you re going to be busy!

My experience with Perfectionist dates back August of 2011 and has just now been resolved as of September 2012. I originally had a double din DVD Player deck, new speakers, and HID lights installed in my high beams, low beams, and fog lights. The installation took all day but they had my truck back to me by 5pm that night. I payed for everything then got my keys and jumped in my truck and started checking over everything. First off I would like to say the speakers they installed in the truck are amazing! They sounded great and I thought I was off to a good start. I was wrong, I realized they had installed the wrong deck in my truck. One of my HID headlights were failing to come on as well unless you flashed them on and off several times. I went back into the shop and started asking questions. The guy working at the counter at the time named Cameron informed me they had made a mistake and wrote down the wrong one. I decided to keep the deck and have loved it in my truck. I informed Cameron about my headlight problem and he told me they would look at it but not today as they were about to close. So that day I drove home with a non-functioning head-light. The next week in August of 2011 I had a second appointment at perfectionist where they told me they would fix my headlight. The truck was in the shop all day. They called me telling me they had fixed it. I went to pick up the truck only to find that my headlight still wasn't working. They had also damaged my A/C Condensor in the process of trying to fix my light.
I had to leave town until May of 2012 so I asked for receipts and they promised when I got into town they would fix my A/C.
I scheduled my first visit in late may to have my A/C fixed and to have my HID head light fixed, at this point it STILL wasn't working. I came back that night and they told me they could not get the light to malfunction and they needed more time for the A/C. I went out to the truck and showed the manager my malfunctioning head light. He agreed there was a problem and asked me to bring the truck back. The next time I brought the truck in they fixed the head light. The A/C unit still was not ready though. In early September after calling them multiple times and being promised a call back in a couple days (which I never received) I finally got my A/C unit installed by them. It wasn't until that day however that they told me they could only install it, they could not actually charge my A/C. The end result has been me making an appointment to get the A/C charged. I hope others have a better experience at this shop but mine has cost me a lot more time and money then I bargained for....

It was very nice that I was able to communicate through facebook and scheduled my service without being told I needed to call. My service was quoted to be an hour and a half and was completed in 1/2 the time! My truck was left very clean and there was a bottle of water in my cup holder.. it's seriously the little details that catch my attention!

I didn t purchase anything, but feel compelled to commend Rob Kowatch for his professionalism and friendliness. Having worked in sales management for a number of years, I can appreciate and recognize a quality salesperson. Interviewed for an overview of what I wanted, features, sound quality and given an estimate for time and cost. It was perfectly within my budget range and I dropped off the car.
The install team interviewed me again just to clarify the type of music and preferences and they finalized a delivery date which was sooner than the initial estimate.
On delivery, Perfectionist, walked me though the features, how to connect my phone and adjust the sound for my taste. They showed me where items were installed and provided the manuals and original parts.
My impression is that it's a very clean, solid installation. I appreciate that it looks like a factory installation and that panels were put back and nothing looks out of place. It's very professional and high quality.
If there is only one minor criticism it's that we went over budget by a tiny amount without a prior phone call to authorize it. Again, it's minor and I only bring it up so that budget minded folks let them know if they would be sensitive to that type of fluctuation.
I've had systems installed from a couple different places in town on various vehicles and hesitate to recommend because installers vary but on the whole and without reservation I highly recommend Perfectionist Auto. They're fast, professional and offer high quality installations tailored to your budget.
The only option you should consider for anything car audio or remote start/alarms. Extremely professional with service and install was flawless. Their team is easy to work with and prompt with phone calls to give you updates on your vehicle. Look no further.
I bought a Groupon deal because I was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks (last place I had to wait 3 months!) I got a confirmation call for my appointment! Lance was very professional and courteous! I dropped my truck off in the morning before work and used the convenient drop box. He called at lunch to tell me it was ready, but I couldn't leave to get it until after work. I was very impressed by the clean, modern showroom! He explained how to use it and the whole process was seamless. I'm highly impressed!

John and the team installed an auto start in my car for me. This may not sound like a big deal, but I own a BMW and traditionally, most install shops won t touch a BMW. Perfectionist went out of their way to get an auto start product that could be customized specifically for my BMW, did the entire install for me while I was out of town on business, and not only had it finished for me and waiting when I got back but even cleaned my car! 10/10 on service! I highly recommend them!

Had a wonderful experience with Perfectionist Auto Sound! I recently bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and was looking for a place to install an HID low beam headlight upgrade. After much research, I went with Perfectionist. I went by in person and spoke with them... super friendly and helpful right off the bat. They were booked about three weeks out, but quality work is worth the wait. The day before my appointment, they called to remind me. The next day I dropped my car off first thing in the morning and they had it ready just in time for closing that evening. Again, the folks there were very nice and helpful when I picked it up. I hopped in my vehicle to find a bottle of water in my cup holder - very nice touch! A week or so later I received a very nice thank you card from them - again a very nice touch that not many businesses take the time to do.
On a side note, when I originally went in to set an appointment, I spoke to the installer about which bulb color to go with. I told him I wanted whiter light and I m pretty sure chose the 6k bulbs. A couple days after install, I noticed the receipt said 8k bulbs. After that I paid a little more attention to the light color and noticed they are a bit bluer than I really wanted. However, they look great and at this point I ll probably just keep them because I would feel terrible having them pull the front end of my vehicle off just to change the bulbs. Probably just a miscommunication, but in the end the lights look great and I would trust them with my vehicle any day!

Got an autostart installed by them and when I got my vehicle back they did not put the dash board back on, there was cut wire on the floor, and they left my old auto start in my car. When I went back to have them fix that I discovered that they did not hook my auto start up right and the lock and unlock feature did not work. Spend an hour and a half dealing with the mistakes that they had made. I paid $560 for the instal and was not offered any sort of compensation for their mistakes and my wasted time.

They vacuum carpets, left everything clean, phone ap is easy to install and use, key fob is normal. Only complaint was they did not ask about light placement in dash prior to drilling a hole and installing it. The antenna is behind the rearview mirror but verticle instead of horizontal so we see it.

Awesome customer service. The dealership that does my oil fiddled with my remote start and it stopped working, and then wanted me to reschedule with them for next week..... I called perfectionist on a Friday right before they closed and they said "we're a little swamped right now but bring it down after we close and we'll look at it". So i did, and they found that the dealership had put my truck in valet mode. Easy fix, but really impressed with the customer service

Super helpful, was having issues with an auto start I had installed a couple years ago and the gentleman on the phone (Rob or Ron? Sorry!) explained how the error system for my auto start works and helped diagnose the issue I was having- luckily it was a quick fix and I was squared away in a few minutes. They even squeezed me in for a rush install on my wife's truck as an anniversary gift, and pulled the Drone mobile system out of the truck I was trading in, and scheduled the install in the new vehicle. I had my wifes volvo S60 T5 in for an auto starter install and like usual the staff was curtious and helpful, did not treat me like a number felt they wanted to get to know me as a valued customer, not just take my money and next. Just enough small talk, smiles and concerns. Also being that volvo is real touchy with the electrical system, they were confidant there would be no problem and there isn't, the auto start is doing its thing. I purchased a Groupon for an auto start recently and the customer service I received from the time I scheduled the appointment to the time I picked up my vehicle was superior.
I definitely plan on returning soon to see what my options are for a new audio system.

1 star for the drone device I spent over $700 on and still doesn t work 80 percent of the time. (From the drone app the auto will not start regularly)
Called perfectionist within days after install and they sent me to drone..saying it s not their issue.

I went in about a month ago after buying a set of Infinity component speakers, then quickly realizing installation was going to be much more complicated than I had thought. I explained my situation to the friendly sales representative and had an appointment set up within five minutes. While in there, I took the opportunity to demo some more audio upgrades-this won't be my last time. A few weeks later, I showed up, dropped off my keys, and let them work their magic. I parked there at 9am, and the car was done by 5. Everything works perfectly. There's no rattle, the sound quality is clear as a bell, all wires are completely hidden, and it all 'just works'. I couldn't be happier with their work, and I most definitely will be back.

There guys do a professional job. I'm an ASE certified technician but I was feeling lazy and didn't want to install my autostart by myself, after all, they do this all the time and I can make more money than I'd pay them in the same time that it would take me to figure it out, as I don't commonly install remote start systems. Just recently, I needed to fix something behind the dash in the area where these guys installed the remote start system, and I was surprised to see how good of a job they did. The wiring was not hacked into, like others cars I've seen, the original harnesses had no cuts in them and most importantly, they secured everything nicely so it didn't rattle apart. I have had this compustar system installed a few years back and it still works and doesn't drain my battery.
