This place is a rustic and trendy gastropub, that makes pretty neat cocktails. Great staff, and service. Easy parking. Great outdoor space, with a DJ. And on top of all of that, the prices are pretty reasonable! We went there two nights in a row!

One of my local favorites. Great for lunch or late night drinks! I ve been here for a New Years celebration as well and we had a blast. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks are good, and they pull off events without a hitch. One of the bartenders here is absolutely hilarious and keeps me coming back. The back patio is covered from rain but has great daylight and a very comfortable ambiance. I ve never been disappointed at Produce Row Cafe!

Edit: 12/31/19 we came back for another new year's celebration and while the bartenders were still pretty great, the DJ was horrible. For a $20 cover charge per person the show was honestly pretty terrible. I've been to plenty EDM shows but this truly felt like the same song over and over for hours. We got there right as they opened for new years at 9, and stayed until 1 am. I like produce row but that DJ was horrible.

I really wish I understood why others enjoy this place! I ve been there three times over the years, and each time I m deeply underwhelmed by the menu, the prices, and the food. This could all be potentially overcome by great, or even just welcoming, service, but that seems to be missing as well.

Christmas decorations are A++, covered patio is nice, brussel sprouts are good.. and that s... kind of it.

Fun place for food and drinks

Fun place for food and drinks
The cocktails are great but a little spendy if you want one of their specials. The venue itself has an upscale feel to it inside and a relaxed feel on their covered outdoor patio. When I was there, they had a DJ on the patio and it was hard to hear conversation at our table. The food was really good but there is a limited menu that was difficult for a person with food allergies in our group. Overall this would be a good date spot and a lot of fun on weekends.

I'll get right to the point, the chicken and waffle here is quite the possible the best thing I have ever eaten, and I'm not exaggerating. Delicious, fresh and local food with a great atmosphere. If only finding a parking spot here was enjoyable as everything else.

We went down to Produce Row for their Sunday morning DJ Brunch with Cee Blanco. It was so good. Cee played a chilled mix of jazz, funk and soul tunes on vinyl - it was perfect sunday morning music. He plays out back on the patio which we thought might be cold at this time of year, but it was so toasty warm, we ended up stripping down to t-shirts! I took the whole family (5 of us in total, my three kids are teenagers), and everyone really enjoyed their food. Service was fast and our server Wilkes was super-helpful. I'd really recommend the DJ Brunch at Produce Row if you're looking for something a bit more chilled out than the 2-hour-wait restaurants we're all tired of :)

Food was good and the patio is awesome for a nice, sunny day. But our server had a bad attitude and they tack on a 3% tax as a "health and wellness" charge for employees. Plenty of other places with a more welcoming vibe

Produce Row has great happy hour options for cocktails and food, even on a weekend, not so much for beer though. They do have a great tap, bottle and can selection though, even a few nitro taps. They're little row burger on happy hour isn't so little and tastes great, definitely recommend.

Whiskey and beer pairings . . . This review would be done if there wasn't so much more that Produce Row has to offer. A great interior that shows off their gorgeous bar and hard/dark woods and padded booths greet you as you walk in. If you're unswayed by the comfort of the classy tavern feel, you'll be rewarded by walking past it all and heading to their impressive, more modern patio. A summer's day in this part of town will be well spent out there as its high walls and open roof take you away from the delivery trucks and warehouses. The food is great and changes with the season, but their oxtail stroganoff is a menu mainstay that is always a great choice. Lastly, 3 words that make this place one of the coolest spots in town: the Do Over.

How cool! I love this area of town and produce Row is one of the reasons. Great patio with movies on Wednesdays and music during the weekend. If you are down by the water on the East side, go to Produce Row. It is even open late. Oh, and get the frys, the're the best.

I work right around the corner from Produce Row it's one of my favorite lunch spots. The lunch prices have went up a little, however it's still worth it. Produce Row has outdoor covered seating, which even during the winter isn't bad as it's covered and does have heaters. I'm a huge fan of the row burger. Good service always as well.

Eh, not very good food. It's especially not worth it considering you need to go down into the homeless apocalypse area that is the east side esplanade. Cool patio area, but that's not redeeming enough to bring me back.

Went here for lunch with some co-workers. Had an amazing flank steak sandwich with horseradish aioli that was out of this world! Plus, they have a covered patio with a transparent roof, so you get some sun with no threat of rain. A little pricy for lunch, however. Still a good place to dine.

This has become my new favorite restaurant in all of portland. The reuben sandwhich is the best iv had in this city. The chicken and waffles is also out of this world as long as it is brought hot and fresh. The outside patio is awesome and the service is always really good. best food in portland right now though.

Rob and the bar tenders at Produce Row made it happen. My girl and I were celebrating our 1 year. So on Tuesday, I brought by some flowers and a card during the lunch shift. I asked Rob if I could leave the flowers/card with him and return later that evening and have him and the crew set out the items before we arrived. Not only did he instruct the night bar crew to time in perfectly, they also managed to save the same seats we sat at. Major Kudos to Produce Row.

The fries here are so good. They're the battered and crispy fried kind. Also the other food and drinks are good. This place has been around for many years. It has changed hands, but, currently I'll attest to it being a really solid place t get a drink or a meal.

Very nice outdoor seating with the service of a friendly staff. I had a Pilsner and French fires, both tasty. On a Friday you better to come earlier if you are a group as it s a popular place I m the neighborhood.

I have spent many many many summer nights here. Drinking, eating and enjoying friends and good company. The food is deliscious and I've always had great service. If you're looking for a place for you and your friends to meet up: here it is!

Great place. Good food, decent selection of whiskey, 20 something beer taps. We sat at the bar and had a great time. Bar tender was cool. Stayed for probably a hour and a half. We had the steak and fritters, and a prim rib sandwich. Both were fantastic. If you go here you won't be disappointed. This place is going to go into our normal rotation of date night places. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the menu could be a little more extensive.

Produce Row has been a favorite stop of my throughout its iterations. It's a great space in a fun location. I enjoy the variety offered by the menu and have always left happy. They have great happy hour selections, too.

Really good ginger beer, amazing sandwiches. They have a fun courtyard-like patio area for outdoor seating. Their aioli sauce and fries were also very delicious. Location is a bit awkward but most of our group found relatively close parking. I'd come back and would probably be tempted to get another sandwich.

I've only been here once and I loved it! Good service and good atmosphere. They were playing classic 80's movies every Wednesday and I happened to catch The Heartbreak Kid. I had never seen it before, and probably will never see it again but I still had a blast!

The food was good - not the best you can get in town - but still delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food arrived promptly with a party of eight and a private event happening on the back patio.

Produce Row always has a fresh tap list and quality food that is seasonally inspired. The location is convenient for anyone that works in the area, however parking can be difficult. That being said, the ambiance and the pleasant outdoor seating are something to be sought after in industrial south east - making Produce Row certainly worth the trip.

For food recommendations I'm a big fan of their sandwiches - their Portlandia dip and Reuben are both worth their pennies, furthermore their served with homemade potato chips which are delicious.

It wasn't busy yet it took quite some time for the server to take my order. He didn't ask how I wanted my burger done and then brought it on a bun after I asked for it without one. The French onion soup, sans the baguette, was deeeeelish!

Good specialty cocktails and just plain ol' booze selection. The french fries are some of the best in the city; not those soggy gourmet bullshit fries, but true crispy ones. Also a really good veggie burger!

I met a friend here last Friday before we went to a comedy show. I was late arriving & yet the server wasn't rude to me which I was thankful for. We also only met for happy hour & drinks, yet he was still kind to us. I don't always find warm service downtown Portland & this gentleman was. We also sat outside which was fun because they have warmers which kept us toasty. Their drinks were delish & food was fresh/yummy. Also, everyone looked clean!

They've done an amazing job redoing this place. It's a fun and hip restaurant. I do wish the food quality was a bit higher, I like where they're going but the delivery leaves something to be desired.

The whiskey and beer-back pairings are a clever and original touch, and the remodeled interior and enclosed porch have moved it in an upscale direction in lockstep with the overall Portland bar scene. For those who remember casual summer evenings over beers at the picnic tables at the Pro Row of old, that's both a good and bad thing.
