Wonderful hotel! I'm sure this is the best of Orlando! The convention center is marvelous ! I was astonished with the effort that the hotel exales! Best drinks! Awesome staff. Good location a bus stop in front of the hotel makes everything easier ! One hotel that I would go for life!

I accidentally left my business clothes hanging in the closet when I checked out. I didn't notice until a few weeks later when I went to pack for another business trip.

I contacted hotel security and an amazing rep named Edith made it her personal mission to find my clothes. My name was not on the room, so that made it even more challenging. I talked to Edith at midnight and by the next morning I had a voicemail that she'd found my items. I completed an online form and the clothes were mailed back to me in just a few days. What amazing service!

Clean, sophisticated, well appointed hotel. Enjoyed our brief stay. The outdoor pools are gorgeous. There is a " facilities use fee" whether you use them or not. It's in the fine print but still, I feel it's an unnecessary addition for fees. There is a daily fee for parking a rental vehicle as well.

This place was great! Easy to get to from I-4 walking distance from restaurants and bars, convention center theme parks and more! Clean rooms friendly staff excellent lobby bar, Valet service. No complaints here. Keep up the good work! Oh and did I mention the beautiful pool area! Highly recommend!

We were there for more than a week, and found the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to be great. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, were receptive to and honored special requests, and adapted their schedule to meet our needs. The bell staff was helpful, but gave no indication that they expected to be tipped. The people at the front desk and at the Concierge's desk were always helpful, and never gave the impression that they were rushing you because someone else may have been waiting. There are at least two swimming pools. This is a very pleasant place.

I wish we could say we had a pleasant stay after paying over $195 per night for a 5 night stay. Unfortunately I am only giving it 2-stars. If it wasn't for the friendly Valet Attendants and room service staff they would most likely have only received 1-star. The parking is pretty high. $22/Day for Self and $35/day for valet. We went ahead and did the Valet due to my parents not able to walk very far and the self parking garage is not connected to the hotel. We were over charged for our rooms. The rooms were said to have been at a discounted rate at the $195/night due to the room block reserved for our event however, we find out the day after we leave that the rooms are only $122/pr night AT STANDARD RATE!!...To top it off, we were placed on the 11th floor of Tower 1 and were unable to get any rest during the day due to construction just above our room (11148) from 6:30am-6:30pm. At times it was so loud that it sounded like they had drilled completely through the ceiling of our room (I actually recorded some of the noise). This went on for our entire stay, everyday, all-day. We could not come up to our rooms to rest and take a quick nap in between events due the horrible construction sounds. For $195/night NO ONE should have to listen to this. This room should have been heavily discounted due to the excessive noise or not rented out at all.

The B-Line Restaurant staff are wonderful and food is delicious, HOWEVER, watch your credit card. We have been double billed for our dinner the first night. Two charges to my credit card. My husband went down and spoke with Hotel Guest Services desk. He said it would be credited. Here they are 6-days later and it still has not been credited.

The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful! Lots of great things to do and see. Great shopping. Wish I could give it more stars but sadly just did not have a great experience.

Everyone speaks to you, and if you have that where am going look, they're right there to help. Great rooms, comfortable beds!!!

Loved the place. Very helpful staff closely located to the convention center. Parking rate is way too high. The walk seems treacherous to the convention center but ever car respected the flashing lights and I crossed that road 25 times. Don't let them call you a cab. It will be a cab that will Uber you for a much higher rate than if you just use the app.

The food that was served at a company party was aweful. The rice pilaf was dry and tasteless. The mashed potatoes were tasty but so tough that you had to scrape it off the spoon to serve yourself. The salad was one of those new healthy mixes that you HAVE to put dressing on it but the dressings available were not good at all. The mahi mahi (cheapest fish in the market these days) had a tasteless sauce with mangled small tomatoes so the fish tasted like plain fish. The ham was just ok but you had to settle for chunks and pieces that the server could hardly cut. The turkey was soft and very tasty with a very courteous server. Dessert was cookies (yes, cookies), quarter sized brownies (yes, quarter sized) but i'm not really sure if they were brownies or cookies cause they had chocolate chips, almonds and mint tiny pieces over them. Tasted aweful because you could not enjoy one flavor or the other. There also were a tiny round pieces of pumpkin cheesecake but the taste was not the best at all. Servers were more attentive in keeping the timeframe picking up stuff and interjecting into conversations. When someone asked for a refill in his water the server told him "bar is over there". If Christmas decoration is just setting up groups of three christmass trees with just lights every 50 or 100 feet then they did, but just barely. No wonder its a 4 star hotel and probably because of the size not the quality.

If you're going to a convention at the big convention center in Orlando, this is a great place to stay. Close to the convention center, good food options, pools are very nice, rooms are very nice.

I have enjoyed this hotel since it was the Peabody. I stay every year during a business convention. This time I would only rate it 3 to 4 stars. Apparently the room I was booked in was right above the parking garage, every time a car would set an alarm, or something would pull out it would awake me. I was 12 floors up, and it was still very loud. They are working on construction for a new overpass to the convention center, and the construction starts relatively early (around 6:30am), so make sure you request pool side, or a back view while this continues. They expected it to be finished by summer 2017.

The hotel room was nice, however, staying at the hotel for a conference will NOT happen again. No hotel shuttles to local food, unless you have a car or pay for ride share/taxi, you will have to pay for food delivery or astonomical prices in hotel.

7 of 10 restraunts were in Sea World and required a Sea World ticket to enter or considered fast food in a gas station. Sad state of affairs

We came here to escape hurricane Doran and ended up having a wonderful time. The people there were so friendly and helpful. They even have us an anniversary cake! We will definitely return.

I had to use this hotel's 11th hour printing company in the basement to schedule a pickup/shipping to UPS for an event after the event was over for some reason. I gave them all my info including payment and they never picked it up! My stuff was moved to the dumpster, but luckily someone stepped in and said not to trash it. I ended up having to double pay for shipping that I had already paid for. Was a pretty big mess. They just need to have some better follow through and processes.

Ok so it is a nice hotel...at first glance. While the rooms are quite expensive and you get a massive tv,which only has a few channels to watch for free. The bathrooms are small, they charge you for everything! Nothing is included in the room price including the coffee in the room! 25$ if you touch anything in the water tea or coffee area. No there is no sign about this either. Also 25$ a day to park at the hotel, not included in your room price. If you'd like to use room service say for a small breakfast during breakfast time 70$ even if you got 10$ worth of food. This place nickel and dimes you at every turn. Nice to look at, half assed cleaned ( dirty tub and floors) no room ammeneties, mini fridge but not microwave I'm sure youd have to pay for that. Tiny bathrooms you cant get in the shower without closing the door. Also the light to the bathroom was outside of it. Real convientent lol. Was not impressed I've stayed in a motel 6 that had more positive qualities for way less money. Oh did i mention the parking garage is a block away, they have a golf cart guy but no one is in it unless you freaking pay!

Beautiful Hotel! I was very surprised to find such a gem amongst all the chaos of hotels in orlando. It really surpassed all my expectations. The rooms are beautiful the beds are soft. The venue itself is AMAZING. Definately a 5 star that you can get at a 3 star rate!

The Hyatt Regency Orlando is a spectacular hotel with a convenient location being connected to both wings of the OCCC. The staff does amazing work keeping their hotel clean, and hundreds of guests satisfied at once. The fitness center is the best I ve ever been to, including a spa, steam room, and yoga studio. Only complaint would be that the food and drink is outlandishly expensive but I m from South Dakota, and even the food at IHOP seemed expensive to me!

In July of last year I had just gotten off my plane and could not rent a car. I was stuck at the airport at 2 in the morning. I went to the front desk and was met by the smiling face of Alejandra. She could tell I was distraught, I had just spent an hour trying to rent a car and did not know what to do. I told her my situation and asked about the best rate they could give me if I only stayed for 7 hours. She consulted with Mark who was also with her at the front desk and they both gave me an excellent rate and told me I could check out at 6 pm, which would be the time my husband could pick me up. I was so relieved and in tears. Alejandra was so comforting and endearing. She told me if I needed anything at all to contact her. I would love to contact the corporate office of Hyatt to let them know of Mark s kindnesses and especially Alejandra. Thank you so much for comforting and taking care of a distraught stranded traveler. You went above and beyond and their should be more people like Mark and Alejandra in the hospitality industry. I will never forget what you both did for me. Great job Hyatt hotel for hiring 2 great employees!

Stayed here for a event for my sister that was taking place nearby very easy to get lost here. Exceptional customer service the staff was great the Bellboy was great the pool was very nice that even have a water slide. the only thing I did not like is for it being a nice fancy hotel they did not have microwaves in the rooms. None of the rooms have microwaves in them there are two located downstairs and they are very small very very inconvenient

Very large property with an awesome pool that the kids and adults will enjoy. A separate pool for adults. Rooms were nice as standard rooms go. Courteous Staff and great service. Always accommodating.

So far so good. We are on day two of our stay, but so far we haven't had any problems with noise or unchanged bed sheets, etc. The room is pretty nice for the rate we are paying: 209 / night, iirc.

Food, as always, is expensive here.

Dont come in to here if you are not dressed to impress. We drove from Columbus Ohio all the way down for monster jam world finals was placed here for our hotel room. We thought okay cool we have a 4 to 5 star hotel room and its a Hyatt this should be awsome. Upon walking in it was clean and well put together. During check in we were asked are you sure you are in the right place even though we had a reservation. Kept fetting looks from the guest service person. When I asked about the pool and other servieces was givin a vague answer as well as not veing told there was a 200 plus dollar hold being placed on my card. WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS and when I asked for 2 room keys because there was myself and family. So one room key for each adult. I asked for extra shampoo and conditioner and body wash because lets be real here those tiny bottles are not enough for 3 people and we just drove 16 plus hours to get there. After being givin extra after asking for them 2 times. I asked where our room was and was told tower 1 and its that way all she did was point and she was done and went about doing what she was doing before. Didnt ask if there were anyother questions nothing. So we meandered around looking for the elevators get the the elevators and room. The room I will say was very clean (thats why I put 2 stars). Beds were comfy and clean. Asking about the pools and everything was a trip in itself. Parking is 27 dollars a night and valet service is 40 a night we parked our self. Your room keys are supposed to get you in and out of the parking garage well that didnt happen we had to go back and park when we were trying to leave for our event and go back in and have our room key activated to be able to get in and out was told when checking in our keys were good to go and ready to use but they werent. All in all they room was great clean and efficient. But the guest service was not horrible and snobby and shoddy at best.

Staff was great! Let us check out a little later then normal checkout. Pool was clean I didn't smell like chlorine after. Beds and room was fantastic. I would definitely go here again! Thanks to everyone there! Made my family's little vacation very enjoyable.

Stayed at Hyatt Hotels more times than I can count over the past 20-30 years. This may be my last. Going to be here 2 more nights because of reservations and lack of available rooms at other hotels close by this location. Not posting details as hotel has tried to make things better but it is totally unacceptable from this level of hotel.

The good: the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great service from waitresses to front desk. The bad: you pay for a Hyatt and get a Motel 6 experience. They are not doing housekeeping service due to covid. We stayed for 5 nights and never had our room cleaned. They did change our sheets when I requested it due to spilled coffee, but the text number they provided to request service was never responded to, so we had to call hours later to request again. The toiletries are laughably small, which wouldn't matter if they were being replenished everyday, but...see above...no housekeeping. Most of the restaurants were closed. So your dinner choices are an expensive Italian steakhouse or convenience store sandwiches. We were there for a convention with over 500 people, but the bar was not open during the week, so there is literally no where to sit and have a drink unless you leave the hotel and many of the surrounding businesses and restaurants are closed. The website says the BLine diner was the provider for room service, but the phone was never answered to order, and the restaurant was closed for dinner. So I'm not sure room service was even an option. We had 2 days in the convention rooms. Like every hotel they tell you to bring a jacket in case the room is cold. You should believe them here... It was freezing!
Overall it was adequate. Comfortable and fairly clean hotel with friendly staff, but it just wasn't a Hyatt experience. It felt like a discount experience for a full price cost.

There was this event that was in a ball room. It had a full stage and really cool screens. The event had neat lights and live music. The bathrooms were super clean and the hall was also decorated. I had a blast and hope the hotel does more of these

Very nice hotel. Huge footprint, two towers with lots of meeting space. Came for a work conference. First run I had was unique in that it was very large, more like an office suite with a roundtable, sitting area with a sleeper couch, two sitting chairs and coffee table. The bed was a Murphy bed though (came out of the wall) so wasn't too comfortable. Would have been wonderful for a family of 4 or even 5. I moved to a standard King bed room the next day just for the comfort of the bed. Rooms had a coffee machine and fridge. Plenty of toiletries. And TVs in the mirror in the bathroom!!!

Beware of their "creative" accounting methods. We reserved a room for the 22nd. We called the evening of the 22nd to say that we would be arriving very late, and the front desk person said it was no problem as the room was reserved. We arrived at 4:00 a.m. We had reserved their "bed and breakfast" special which included breakfast for 2 and late checkout at 2:00 p.m for $149 plus taxes. We confirmed the late checkout when we checked in, and confirmed that breakfast was served until noon. We went to the breakfast restaurant at 11:30 a.m., then left the hotel right at 2:00 p.m.
Problem 1: Before actually leaving, we checked the bill via our TV, and they had charged us $60+ for breakfast. The front desk person said it was because we had left the restaurant after 12:00 noon, and their system couldn't recognize our having arrived at 11:30 a.m. They removed that charge of $60 for a BUFFET self-serve breakfast for 2 at my request.
Problem 2: Four days later my credit card records a charge of $401.26. After calling and being transferred 3 times I reached an agent in accounting who had to call back because her computer was down. I received a voicemail from her later with a case number. I called back and was transferred 4 times. The agent I got said that we had been charged a no-show fee of $169.30 for the 22nd because we were not there by midnight, then we were charged for staying the night of the 23rd, plus taxes, plus resort fees, plus $37 for them parking our car - even though we checked out on the 23rd! After putting me on hold for quite a while, her solution was to refund the no-show fee for the 22nd, leaving the record to show that we checked in at 4:00 a.m. on the 23rd and stayed the night of the 23rd and checked out on the 24th (at which point in time we were actually 150 miles away in Sarasota County).
I have been staying in hotels for 42 years, and I have checked in hundreds of time after midnight, and I have NEVER encountered such creative accounting methods. P.S. the room was fine and the housekeeping staff was delightful. Just don't turn your back on the front desk people.

The service was pretty good except when the maid service knocked on my door to see if I was ok because I had my do not disturb sign on...that seemed odd. The room was nice, nothing special. The shower head was so small and the water wouldn't get very hot for showering. That was the worst part of the room.
The seafood restaurant was decent, the breakfast buffet was definitely good but the lunch there was not very good. The guacamole which was recommended lacked flavor. The fish tacos were not well constructed and the fish wasn't very flavorful or moist. The diner was pretty good, it was a diner. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. The indoor bar was nice and had good service. Room service was crazy expensive and the "fresh squeezed" OJ is not fresh squeezed. I'm wondering if it was even fresh, or juice, maybe minute maid?

Whether for fun or business, this hotel has a lot to offer and is in a great location to access the Orlando area theme parks and the enormous OC convention center. The hotel's own meetings spaces are capacious enough for large meetings in house and the space is superbly laid out for attendees. As with all Hyatts, the staff is terrific.

Nice place with lots of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. The only complaint is that the totally inconsiderate, extremely loud lady in room 10509, who decided that she was the only person in the whole place until about 4:00 am, kept waking us up. We hope you enjoyed yourself!

This is a top-notch hotel! It is very conveniently located in a beautiful area and they offer free passes for their Trolley system which allows you to hop on and off all day long at no charge. There is much to do in this vicinity with lots of restaurants and entertainment choices.
