As soon I walked the door, I noticed most peripherals and other gadgets were $10 dearer than Officeworks...

Nonetheless, my son wanted the Playseat FORZA and was told by staff to "use their instructions, not the included in box, as they are very complicated". When I got home, I called and another staff would not share them unless he would identify my invoice... which I left behind.

Then after telling him 4 times, I bought the FORZA, he insists I got the Evolution, which I didn't 'cause the later is sued and I wanted the leather (faux) one.

Even worst, I he kept insisting they don't sell the FORZA (mine) and it was taken down "off website". Well, that's bit of concern, it obviously has issues, hence they were 'getting rid' of it cheaper?

Very unhelpful, very difficult, very stubborn old QLD style - instead of getting things done!

Won't come back here, that's for sure!

I've found computer alliance to be reliably excellent. Staff are quite knowledgeable and willing to assist with questions. Warranty support has been consistently excellent. Their ordering system can be a pain in the backside though. Pricing is competitive.

Dealing with the employees of Computer Alliance was a really relaxed experience. As someone who needed a high spec photoshop computer for a busy printing business that actually has no clue about building computers, it was wonderful to be greeted by someone who gave me plenty of options and reasons why each option could be good for my computer needs. The computer came in on budget and was built and arrived in 10 days. The computer itself is extremely fast and I am so pleased it with! I will definitely purchase again from this company.

Always a great price, always a great experience. Ebay plus is very highly appreciated too. Great store, I've visited over many years. Really great people here with knowledge and experience, friendly and helpful. As a local, am proud this shop is in my town it's what computer retail and service should be.

Awesome that you guys are open Sunday. You would be 5 stars if you put on an extra staff member or two on. You have a Sunday monopoly so it wouldn't hurt.

Very decent prices. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Mainly stocks Asus brand items. You can drop off items directly at the store for servicing, and chat with the friendly staff.

Good staff and good selection of items. Not 5 stars because you ca get better deals elsewhere.

I bought my new notebook from here a few days ago from the online store and went to pick it up the next day. I also ordered a mini display port cable, and they didn't have the smaller size, so they upgraded to the longer length at no extra cost (and no prompting).... Thank you!

Excellent after sales service. Had to troubleshoot a problem with a new Ryzen build. Their service department was very helpful and had no problem with allowing me to exchange parts to determine which one was at fault. Ended up being the memory controller on the new Ryzen CPU.

Sometimes can give misleading information about their products. Generally pretty good though.

After a shaky start and review of this store, I will say when it came to purchasing the 1:1 service was great from Kean (sorry if I spelt that wrong) who also went as far to extend an apology of my previous service sort (rare). Since then, I have popped in and he took it upon himself to guide me in the products no matter how small. Thank You. Much appreciated service.

Awesome place. Staff so friendly and helpful. Am buying all my PCs and parts from here now. Tiny bit more expensive than cheapest but well worth it with service. Robert in sales is a legend. Website great to navigate.

Prices are good, product display is good, customer service could be improved. One of the other customers was buying an sd card while I was there, there were 10 on the shelf but when he went to pay for it they were all meant to be on hold for another customer so they refused to sell one to him. Customer was obviously annoyed and they didnt offer a discount or anything on a better product or appologise, they just blamed one of their other staff members for not taking them off the shelf. Pretty poor effort I thought.

don't write reviews often, but i had to for this one. the guys at Computer Alliance support team went above and beyond for me. they could have said no to my request, and it was of no benefit to them to do so. they still did. highly recommended!
also their prices may be high, just get them to price match, was super simple and they were more than happy to do so. worth buying from them for the support, unlike umart they actually care for their customers

Very helpful staff. Discussed monitors for ages with them and they had a wealth of knowledge about them.

Great sales team, terrible support crew. Called through to get some assistance with two problems I was having with a custom build I'd picked up 7 days prior. The service guy I was put onto couldn't seem less interested in helping. Very disappointing, won't be returning.

The key in the computer retail market is not just price, its mainly about customer service. Computer Alliancr have always been amazing when it comes to helping customers and being the friendliest they can possibly be. A special mention to Josh Spencer who helped organise my orders, offered researched alternatives to a product they were out of stock of, and even when i picked up all my items, he continuously referred to me by my name and was very friendly.

I had my power supply implode and take most of my PC with it. Went in to Computer Alliance with an idea of what needed to be done to salvage the parts that were left. They made it super easy for me to bring in my existing parts and combine them with a new motherboard, CPU and RAM. I dropped it off Sunday afternoon and picked it up on Monday night, couldn't have been happier.

Best customer service I've had anywhere, ever. The Gentleman serving me was if anything too helpful. His knowledge of computers was outstanding.

Know it all staff. Horrible service. Outdated systems. Why do you need all my personal details just to buy a modem?! You could probably build a computer from scratch at Bunnings faster than you can get served here.

Had a SSD failure on my 2 year old desktop PC. Absolutely no dramas getting this attended to. Quick turnaround and fantastic communication by the service team. Highly recommend Computer Alliance.

Went in to buy some surge protector power boards. The staff member at the front counter expressed an average level of customer service and directed me to the sales team. After this while I was making my purchase at the counter, the same staff member was constantly looking over, laughing at my purchase, condemning my purchase, as if I am an idiot. Very bad customer service and I definitely will not be returning and spending my money here.

I only buy my computer gear from one place. Here. If something in on these guys shelves, it is quality. Don't Google it, you don't need to. These guys stocking it is all the quality assurance that I need.

New to Brisbane and was struggling to find a good place to get a router. Stumbled upon this place and was happy that I did. It was busy when I arrived but the staff were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Got exactly what I needed and am very happy. Will definitely be the first place I check now for all my computer needs

A great business with a solid reputation. If you just want the cheapest product go elsewhere. If you are after solid service at a competitive price then this is the place to buy computer equipment

Consistently good service with great advice on product selection. During this COVID time, I called for router recommendations. Their response was about ensuring fit-for-purpose and getting value-for-money. Very helpful and the product worked perfectly.
Their price is super competitive - matching online retailers.
Also feels good to support a local store who employ local staff, rent a local building, and contribute to our local economy.

Very helpfully and the prices are competitive advantage of Harvey. Harvey sell HDMI cable @ $99 for 10m. I got obe her for $44 for 10m cable.

Website is clean and easy to navigate unlike competitor stores. Stock is competitively priced and have a great range. Staff in store is hit and miss. After 3 orders in the last few months I can honestly say the 'welcome' girls are the worst. They tend to be very under trained for the position. I think with a bit of training they would be as good as any other retailer. It would be nice if they didn't have to get a manager or another staff member to answer every question though.

Decent prices, high end products . Not enough counter staff.

Good shop with ample parking. Prices are always competitive. David in the service / repair section is highly knowledgeable and patient with noobs.

Ordered online for a 1TB External Hard drive, was a good price. Emailed the store to confirm I could pick up the following Saturday, all good I was told. Visited Saturday, waited in a line for 40 minutes - No exaggeration - to be told that it was sold out.

I was then offered the next best, a brand I didn't want, and more expensive. I asked them to price match given the inconvenience, quickly to be told NO.

I have used this store previously for many years and never had a problem. This is a poor example of customer service and for a computer company, you would imagine that your internet ordering system would be accurate. You have lost yet another customer, given the number of poor reviews received that I can see, it appears I'm not the only one.

Decent service, has plenty of product which is almost always in stock. Can be cramped and feels rushed if its super busy.

Long time customer, spent over $4000 today had an extremely bad experience, the staff are absolutely wonderful every single one, aside from the store manager. I wanted to return an un opened, never used item and was disgusted that I would receive $30 less than what I paid for it ( I bought it 4 days ago...), used to be my go to computer store, not anymore

A store for technology geeks and not really a casual consumer unless you've done your research elsewhere. You can wait 10 minute or more for a sales consultant. They have limted stock on display but must have a big warehouse of many many items as a staff member will search their website to find what you need then head outback/upstairs for 5 minutes and return with what you need. Really good prices. Surcharge on credit card use. I like this store for techy stuff.

Great store and competitive prices considering it's a proper store front. Prices can and do compete with the cheapest PC stores (PCCG and Umart). Staff are very friendly. I've got a crush on the girl who works on the front desk with black glasses, killer personality and knows about PC's - something about her..ahhhh :)

Rob was extremely patient, helpful, and was able to answer all my questions, as well as identify potential problems that I couldn't. In my experience, the staff here simply help you to get exactly what you need, rather than try to up-sell you. Prices are also very competitive.

Rubbish service. They don't want to amend invoices and they charges ridiculous re-stocking fees not allowing items swapping even if unopened. it's basically the jetstar of PCs. you pay even for air your breath. spend few more dollars and buy from professionals.

Normally has stock on IT products from the major brands and are usually available upon order or in store. Customer service and sales team appeared friendly and willing to assist (contrary to some customer reviews whom experienced a less than satisfactory service).

If you want a shopping experience inspired by horrible customer service, this is the place for you. I was served by a tall 'gentleman' with long blonde hair the other day who took every opportunity to belittle my purchasing decisions.
It's like they don't want the money so I'll help them out by not coming back.

Had a great time bought a 60hz monitor but it turned out to be 144hz. So overall a great deal.

One of the best pc retailers they don't insult your passion or intelligence when it comes to computers and happy to lend a hand.

Service is second to none and stock is always on hand.

I send anyone who asks there without hesitation.

Called up to reserve a product which they confirmed. When I arrived they'd made a mistake and sold it to someone else. I tried to find a similiar product since it was a mission to get there, but the person helping me was quite rushed and a bit rude. Seemed like he didn't have time to help even though it wasn't that busy.

Came back the next day to pickup the product. Got it home and realized that they had the specs wrong on their website so the thing wouldn't fit. Called up and they gave me a decent discount on a new item. When I checked the price against Umart, it was still more expensive even with the discount.

Customer service could do with a little help sometimes but I won't buy from anyone else on the south side of Brisbane. They know there stuff, as well received great service from there service centre when I was building my own NUC and it wouldn't work even though they didn't even I didn't get them to out it together for me

Had to go there to purchase a charger for my laptop. The staff were kind and courteous but I was not happy with the advice I received. The technician informed me that it would be better to purchase a new laptop and seemed to evade the preferences I was expressing. He eventually agreed to sell me a new charger and offered one at over a hundred dollars stating that the recommended one was no longer available. I bought it unhappily. A few days later I did a search and found that it was in fact widely available at $29.00. Be aware that the advice you get may not always be in your best interest.

Unbeleivably rude. Rep yelling something at us across the carpark as we arrived, and when I move closer for whatever he's saying to become more audible, which was probably at 3 to 4 metres away - I get barked at to stay 1.5m away cause "there's a god damn virus".

In Brisbane, Computer Alliance is now the only place where you are able to order and pick-up the item immediately as long as there is a stock. They also have an in-store service and shelves where you can browse items, grab and pay at the counter. Great service and very accommodating. I highly recommend Computer Alliance over Umart. Umart unfortunately has gone downhill over the last couple of years.
