Decor and staff were top notch, but removing one star due to a rather officious event coordinator we encountered.
Decor and staff were top notch, but removing one star due to a rather officious event coordinator we encountered.
Excellence as exspected.
Real attention to detail and nothing is too hard.
Love this place.
Beautiful place! BJ assistant manager provides 5 star service upon arrival. Palazzo is a must visit at least once in a lifetime !!!
Horrible service, aging fitouts. A run for profit ship. Not worth you money. It's only for the name only.
Great location and amenities. Condo it great for a small family.
Me and my husband went to lunch at the vanita restuarant and we had a lovely waitress who explained everything to us! Meals were delicious. Views were awesome. The China was very pretty! Loved it and would love to go back again!
Lovely place to stay, wold have got 5 stars but I was let down by the lack of late night service.
Very nice stay we had a great dinner last night at il Barocco rest very nice & fresh tasmanian oysters
My experience was very disappointing, firstly when you pay this amount you expect prestige service The experience from check in was poor no explanation on the property Secondly the room was facing a main road so I was waken by traffic 5:45 am The pool area has rubble stinks and there are wasps So there is absolutely no benefit just the looks of the beds You would expect some kind of welcoming gift for the amount you spend The name Versace should not be used here as far as I m concerned it gives Versace a bad name When you are expecting so much and you get not even half horrible I stayed at the Sheraton and they were 1000 times better in everything Would not recommend this place to anyone
Five stars is not equal to five stars! With the variety of hotels in the luxury sector, it is particularly difficult in Dubai to make out the differences as a layman. We did everything right with the Palazzo VErsace. From the food on the service and the well-kept rooms and outdoor area this hotel still a shovel on it. Here, the price pays off in the truest sense of the word. A little tip: choose rooms with Creek View so as not to be disturbed by the construction site of the Cultural Village. Clear recommendation in Dubai!
Nice place, excellent position. Above my pay grade unfortunately.
Because it is very chic I was watching a movie pregnant women divas they were doing the movie there too and in the most chic Palazzo in the world I loved this movie women divas pregnant
5 star hotel, beautiful interior and worth every dollar
The beauty of the chandeliers in the lobby will not help people to hold their breath, killing the whole is also very classical and luxurious, and the newcomers who took the wedding dress on the same day~
Beautiful, but not as expected, low rise sprawling hotel, right next to a macdonalds..... Weird
Food was terrible, not every door is real. Be careful.
Went to catchup with friends for a late night drink.
Went to Versace for third time to celebrate my wife s 60th birthday. I m always amazed by the hotel, it s service, quality of decorations, food and general ambiance. Great place to people watch too.
Suites are large with very comfortable beds. As you would expect from a 5 star resort prices can be a little high but great deals can be had out of season.
Close proximity to shopping center, Seaworld, and restaurants makes this an ideal place to stay to explore the Gold Coast.
Will be there again soon
Excellent service and excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt like a celeb!
Food was great, decor was nice, service was good, easy to locate drop off zone
Great place, great service. Facilities and ambience is great value. Didn't need to leave the hotel - had everything we needed to relax and unwind.
I love this place!!! Great for a Girls Day Out or weekend away!!! Very Top End!
I wouldn't give this hotel a 3 star rate. Expensive for no reason. The hotel is not mainted well.
I've been to a 3-4 star hotels that is better than this.
The house keeping does not know the job either.
More of 4.5 stars. It s a beautiful hotel in the over the top opulent way, but starting to show its age. Carpets starting to fray a bit and the pool area looking a bit dingy in areas. Beautiful lobby. Well appointed rooms. Great bed and it s dead quiet in the rooms with heavy curtains blocking out any outside light. Nice turndown service with chocolates on the pillow and aromatherapy oils burning. Beautiful tiled bathrooms. Water a bit slow going down the sink though. The staff are lovely and friendly. Some of servers at the bar look a bit confused sometimes though and some drinks have been missed. The bar has lovely cocktails with music and entertainment to enjoy in the evening. The high tea is delicious and quite filling. The spa is lovely. The massage itself is average. Breakfast is nice with a wide selection.
Lux. Real attention to detail. Lovely to visit for a special occasion. Breakfast is wonderful.
very disappointed about their maintenance, you must check pillows carefully, maybe you can find some hairs , even bath tub. quite old hotel than I expected, reception desks are not friendly and even lazy when I ask something to them via phone. I visited 'the darling hotel ' 5 star hotel, in Sydney. Compares to them, too lower quality. even very noisy at night because road is just next to the hotel. location is good but service and cleanness is very poor, not as 5 stars
Visited for an onsite meeting and found plenty of comfortable places around for privacy and drinks.
Plenty of free parking available next door at the Mariner Mirage if you cant park onsite or cant find anything on the street at the front.
The wifi isn t free and coffee is $8. You would think for a 5 star hotel those simple things would be complementary
Absolutely fabulous buffet meal; food was fresh and delicious. Staff attentive, polite, and friendly. Decor amazing!
The venue itself was lovely. The food was hit and miss - some delicious items, some disappointing. Service was lacking. It was still a nice experience.
Beautiful room amazing view service was fantastic. Breakfast buffet was nice, pool was very nice and relaxing.
Nice pool. Service is very poor. Over rated and overpriced
My first review of any hotel and I have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world.
Versace you have dropped the ball. We were here 15 years ago and it appears you have not spent a cent on up keep. Depressing tired decor and average service.
Stop charging 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel. It s not right.
Fix it or sell it to someone who knows how to run 5 star hotels.
What a classy hotel. Amazing service, beautiful decoration. The doorman was so professional. We will be back.
Beautiful place, housekeeping services are a not upto the mark, the concierge is perfect, check in and duty managers are so so, Rooms are awesome, the whole experience is really awesome, just the part that we had to call to get out room made and they just straightened out the bed and left was a put off.
Absolutely amazing experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the restaurant food was spectacular
I choose to stay here when on a world tour. Nothing beats the luxury of the Versace after a night on stage at a sell out stadium gig. My entourage stay at the Nerang Motor Inn, I think they like it.
I am not rich but I/we are enjoying our experience here. The staff can not do enough for you. Food is good. The experience of opulence is good. The setting is good. Come and enjoy.
High tea in the main lobby is something everybody should do at least once
Went there for coffee and breakfast last year January just superb, service is very good and the place is just classy, would recommend for anyone to go check it out it's an experience by itself!!!
Buffet spread was pretty good, service excellent as always. Crispy pork belly, fresh snapper, oysters, need i say more? Dessert looked like what you see on masterchef and you can get as many as you like
Very Versace. Located in the right area, however further from the ocean than one would expect of a luxury Palazzo. As if Versace Palazzo itself competes with the ocean for attention.
limited number of rooms (if any) with ocean views.
The restaurant is open to all. Do have to book for dinners.
We arrived at the Versace hotel at 7.30am after traveling 27hrs from London. We explained this on arrival and was told our room has been cleaned and will be ready momentarily, the receptionist said to have a coffee and then come back. We arrive back and the room wasn t ready. We ended waiting 3 hours in reception for our room. We were exhausted from our travels from London and this wasn t what we needed. 27 hours traveling was enough but we had to wait another 3 hours in Reception. The waiting around just made us more tired. We finally got into our room and was so disgusted in how filthy and dirty the room were. The room stunk off cigarettes smoke.. We never complained as we just needed to sleep. I won t explain the filth to you as I took photos and will attached them to my review I m sure you will be as shocked as we were. I m shocked and saddened at what we paid for and it wasn t what we had hoped for. We traveled all this way for a holiday and was left utterly saddened. They money they charge is NOT worth it and the lack of customer services is the worst I have come across, It took them 4 months to reply to my complaint. After 4/5months they gave me a refund, The refunded me back to a giftcard I used and the giftcard had since expired which mean't I lost the money, So ended up with no refund. and still out of pocket
This was my first visit to Australia and I wasn t disappointed!!
Loved my weekend at the Versace, especially my own private pool. Cannot wait to stay again for when my baby is due.
In response to Hari the manager. I did get the bites checked and they were bed bugs. You can clearly see that from the photo i have uploaded. In addition you can see that I did get them at your hotel because it was the first stop on my travels from my home in Sydney. I am someone who has travelled extensively across the world and I have never ever got bed bugs from a hostel in a Columbian forest to a 5* in Cape Verde. As confirmed by me, my partner, the pharamacist and the doctor I got bed bugs at the versace hotel. Your response and denial of it is a racist microagression as was you ushering a white male who arrived after me, before me in the check in queue. I still remember how I was treated at your disgusting hotel.
We went for dinner.. I counted 12 staff everywhere. No buffet due to covid. There were only two other get dinner guests that we saw. Friendly service. Good food as expected. It's worth supporting the tourist industry on the Gold coast. And if you'd like to see it Italianate marble, it's everywhere. I noticed they don't park the Rolls Royce out the front as usual.
Yes, I was not as impressed as expected. I hated the decor though, lol! Sorry Gianni! Too fussy and precious for my taste.
Pools excellent.
Beautiful room and bathroom. Lovely staff. Too noisy outside to open the balcony doors which was a pity because the weather was perfect. The pool area is great with comfortable daybeds a lots of shade. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous and delicious.
Loved the place, i was there to watch stars from I am a celebrity ..get me out , UJ version.
I wouldn't stay here again. Our room was dirty upon entry, i called and informed reception, we went down for drinks, took 30 min to get a menu to order, our first round of drinks were free to apologize for the service. We came back to the room to find it still dirty, so we went out for dinner, we came back around 9.30pm to find the room still dirty, so i called reception again, they sent someone at 10pm to clean the room when we were getting ready for bed.
Breakfast was ok, very long wait due to the small restaurant. Overall i would expect more for a $600 per night room.
What can I say. Loved it. Luxury, amazing, relaxing, stunning. Highly recommended to all.
Amazing from when you walk in to the food, however the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey at $46
Beautiful. just went for a nosey as its the hotel used by ITV UK for #Imacelebrity. recommend the scones and tea service was perfect.
The rooms are extremely dated. The elevator sounds like puffing billy. Overall level general of appearance is below standard. Saturday night buffet provided quality seafood but the hot dishes where pub grub standard. The reception staff are rude.
Firstly.. clean the mould on the place. Amazing image.. but utterly filthy. Mold growing on the stone. 20 years ago this place was legendary.. today needs just a scrubbing brush and soap
Food mediocre.
Ambience great
Service medium.
Attitude of luxury.. high.
Paid to visit but really really disappointed. C
There are too few things, nothing is suitable for me to eat, desserts are only good-looking but not delicious.
No after sale, they simply don t like to do anything afterwards! Bad service!
