Dormet was the best guide for our trip to the Cliffs of Moher! He made sure we were all taken care of, was very friendly, humorous and kept us interested in the history of Ireland along the way. We could have listened to him the entire trip! The ride was smooth, the stops were great, the weather was beautiful and it was our favorite day of our visit. Cant say enough about Dormet and the Paddywagon Tours! It's a must do.

We use Paddywagon Tours to visit the Cliffs of Moher and it was great! The bus was very comfortable and had both WiFi and USB charging outlets. Our guide was very funny and knowledgable and kept us entertained the entire trip. There were a More
Tiernan was a fantastic guide. Incredibly knowledgeable about Ireland and its history and he told great stories as well. The trip is tightly scheduled, but the rope bridge and the giant's causeway are both spectacular. The bus was very comfortable (just need bathrooms on them).
The tour was lovely and super fun. We went to the cliffs of Moher and our guides were Desmond and Sheila. They were very nice and accommodating. Sheila even played traditional Irish music on her violin and Desmond sang traditional Irish songs and taught us some words in gaelic. We were very lucky because we didn't previously get the tickets online but showed up that morning hoping that we could get seats if the bus wasn't too full and we did! Both guides knew a lot of local history and entertained very well. The cliffs are an incredible sight and we stopped in various interesting places along the way. Highly recommended!
I took the trip to Cliffs of Moher in March and it was great. The tour guide gave us a History lesson about every place we've been to. Totally recomend it!
During our first trip to the Giant's Causeway the bus driver was very rude with us and his behavior ruined our morning.. The second trip to the Cliffs of Moher was nice, but I think it would be better if they did less stop (like 3 and not 6) so we could visit them better.
Dermott was a GREAT guide - knowledgable, funny, great personality and made the tour a real pleasure. The tour structure was fantastic - with regular breaks and lots of stops in interesting locations on the way to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin. We loved it so much we wanted to do it all again the next day - sadly it was our last day in Dublin.
Good journey with Paddywagontour! The bus driver was very kind and warm ! It s a long journey but it worth it and the several stops in different places was very appreciated ! I recommend highly
We have attend Gaint Cause Way tour with Paddy Wagon. They collected us from Dublin at 07:00. We have arrived Belfast at 09:00 am and collect people from 2 diffrent stops in Belfast. We have waitted 1 hour to collect everyone. When we arrived to the Dark Hedges we only had 20 minutes. We had to run to see the place. At dinner time we had only 45 minutes and there was a very long que to get the lunch. After all when we return to Belfast we had only 30 minutes and again we have to run to see the city. We suppose to have 1 hour! The only good thing about the tour was our drivers kindness.. I dont recommend this rush to anyone! I am tottaly exhausted!
I took the 6 day Ireland tour with Paddywagon (my guide was Rory) in May and it was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about Ireland, it's history and current status. It is a small tour with a max of only 16 people which allows you to ask questions and interact more if you wish. Each day was filled with enjoyable activities, interesting things to see and the most beautiful landscape. As a solo tourist, I wasn't sure what to expect and happily made several friends from all over the world during our 6 day adventure. I tell everyone that this is the best tour I have ever been on! HIGHLY recommended!!!
Had a great day trip with Paddywagon to the Giants Causeway. We heard the causeway was really worth seeing and we were so happy as it was truly inspirational. We also loved the Rope Bridge and even got a little shopping in at Belfast. Paddywagon made it all so easy with a great driver John who kept us informed with lots of stories.
Did the full day tour to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin. Was a great day out of the city with lots of great sites to see along the way. The tour guide Paul was really friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable! He even have some great recommendations for pubs and restaurants in Dublin. Would definitely book a tour with Paddywagon Tours again!
Perfect organization and very nice and fun driver. You don't have much time to spend at each stop and you might not like it if you prefer to go at your own pace or take your time visiting places. However, the day goes by quickly and interestingly and it's surely a great way to visit Ireland if you don't know your way around or don't want to drive. The only thing I didn't like is that we did too many stops and didn't spend enough time at the Cliffs of Moher, which was the main destination of the tour. One stop going there and one stop on the way back would be enough to take a break during the drive. It feels like some of the stops are designed to make you spend money in pubs/shops. All in all, it was anyway very enjoyable and I would choose Paddywagon again.
Finton was excellent guide and driver. We stayed on schedule and had plenty of time to take photos and tourist around. I would take the Paddywagon Tours again. It was a fantastic time.
We bought the packages via internet for our Eurotrip, and we had a wonderful experience. We arrived at the indicated location in Dublin, we received the guide devices in some places. The buses were comfortable, the wonderful guide who spoke English and Spanish. Sensational experience.
The scenery was wonderful, dramatic, rugged coastline along the Atlantic... I thought we were going to have specialized guided, actually, it was the driver who did all the talking and well..sometimes he would say interesting things, sometimes a lot of rubbish. He talked too.much anyway. Not to mention that i made an effort to understand his English accent....Anyway, it s worth seeing that part of Ireland.
We had Glendalough, Wicklow and Kilkenny trip with Tiernan and it was super fun and great. I had this same tour October 2016 and I think I learned more about Ireland. Also our guide's humour was the best. Luckily we had beautiful sunny day too. My finnish friends were enjoying their first Ireland trip so much. Spud Batman was the coolest mascot
Very good tour. We went to Cliff of Moher, they told us all the history of Ireland on the way and then we could appreciate that natural beauty. We also made stops to taste the typical coffee of the place and another to enjoy a lunch with typical food and a good Irish beer. More than recommended for those who go to Dublin and want to know more than the city
Amazing! Like, every single part of our Dublin to Cliffs of Moher tour was incredible. Our tour guide (Val) was funny, really engaged with everyone, an *incredible* driver, and his singing of Irish Ballads was one of my favorite moments in Dublin so far! There just can not be a better tour than Paddywagon.
Worst Tour Company in all of Ireland!!!! Single Female Travelers Please Avoid this place at all costs!! All travelers avoid this tour company!!! The Tour guide I had was Desmond. He drove like a maniac everyone on the bus holding on to the seat handles for dear life as he went way over the speed limit slamming his breaks as a car from opposite direction would come around the corner! We were being whipped around violently! If he wasn t going to fast he would have not had to slam on his breaks to avoid crashing into other oncoming vehicles! Desmond also tells all passengers on the way home that he expects a tip for his services to make sure you leave him a tip! That is so unprofessional! In fact he has a trick as he drops you off at the end of the tour he keeps the door closed as you get off so that you feel pressured to tip him! So wrong tipping is a choice! When I told the company about this they just took Desmond s side saying that Desmond said the door was broken all day and that he was having trouble opening it which was very far from the the truth! That door was working fine all day long he is full of SH*T!! Then when two ladies got off of the bus at their stop at the end of the tour they did not tip him and he got very upset and started going on an angry rant about how the two ladies did not tip him and had told the rest of us on board how he expected a tip! Horrible!!! This tour company has only a few hotels they pick up and drop off from and my hotel was one of those stops which was the Westin. Another group of passengers wanted to be dropped off at a place that was not on the list initially he said no because it was too far but then the passenger went up to the front of the bus and had whispered something to him probably that he would give him a huge tip which was the only key to tour guide Desmond s heart. My stop was suppose to be next which he skipped for this other passenger s stop that was not on the list for this company! Then when he said I was next for the Westin Desmond told me that he would not be able to drop me off at my hotel and that I would have to find it myself and walk!! I explained , how I was single female traveler and how my phone battery only had 10% left and I don t know where I am or where I m going! . Desmond says, because of the other passengers far stop I don t have time to take you to your hotel it s too much trouble for me now . I m like but my hotel is an actually stop on your company s pick up and drop off list!!! Desmond ignores my situation completely and just drops me off in middle of Dublin! I was lost for an hour wandering around Dublin trying to find the Westin! The tour company advertises hotel pick up and drop off for their list of approved hotels not we will drop you off far away from the hotel and get lost in the city!!! Completely wrong!!! This company just takes their employees side and listens to their lies just because they have worked there for a long time! That s no excuse just because that employee has been working there a long time doesn t mean their good at their job the only reason why Desmond is still employed is because is a Bloody Good LIAR and a complete CROOK!!!! Stay away from this place and with another tour company!!!
Tour was great, Paul was a fantastic driver and guide. Enjoyed his short snippets of local history and tips on what to see and do on our tour yesterday. Will go again when the weather is better.
My friend and I took a really great day tour of Giant's Causeway and a few other places from Belfast, and it was fantastic! Our driver Frank B. had really good energy and a great sense of humour (we were still laughing at some of his jokes a day later). Thanks for an awesome day!
Had an amazing day trip to the cliffs Morey. Our driver was very knowledgeable and gave a beautiful history of Ireland. I felt we were in the best of company with the paddy wagon tour and would highly recommend using their services. Looking to take another tour with them this week. Dermot our driver was incredible.
Due to the heavy snowstorm, the tour was canceled, as might be expected. However, the company has not returned the money from our reservation ... very unprofessional on their part. The excursion has not been carried out and on top of that the company obtains benefits? More even than a normal day in which they have to pay gasoline, the driver, the guide ... I do not recommend this company that at least steals your money.
Disappointing.
Due to the strong snow storm the tour was canceled, as expected. However, the company has not returned the money for our reservation ... very unprofessional on their part. The trip has not been made and on top of that the company gets benefits? Even more than a normal day in which they have to pay for gasoline, the driver, the guide ... I do not recommend this company that at the least steals your money.
Northern Ireland was the most beautiful place I have visited in Ireland and I had a wonderful experience. This was my first tour with the Paddywagon tour company and I enjoyed every second of it. They were very accommodating and helpful to our questions and requests. Both of our drivers were knowledgable and made the long bus rides enjoyable. They added a very positive element to the trip and made sure we were having a good time. Overall, it was a great weekend.
We had a really great time on our tour. We went during low season - in January - so it wasn't too crowded or packed. The driver had a lot of snippets of history and explained so much to us! We also saw a lot more than we would have on our own.
The trip was very exciting. The guide/driver was one of a kind, speaking, presenting all the way; with a sense of humor and spokesman ship. I definitely can recommend this trip if you are visiting Ireland.
We just walked off our Paddywagon day tour to The Giants Causeway and it was the best day, absolutely jam packed with craic, and we owe all of it to our beyond awesome guide, Val.
The sights were amazing and well worth it for the price you pay, but what made it was learning about the land, the people and the culture in the funniest, passionate and most engaging way from a really top bloke.
Amazing tour, this alone was worth the long trip from Australia. Cheers again Val, you re a legend.
Our "tour guide" was hung over and slept when we were on the bus. We relied on street signs and road markers to know where we were. Apparently this isn't uncommon, I reached out to paddy wagon with no response.
Our tour guide Gavin was really cool. He told us much interesting stuff about everything, also in a very entertaining way. We also had enough time at every stop, so it was a good tour.
I did cliffs of moher tour yesterday with paddywagon tours, with my family and kids. When we reached city centre to board the bus, the driver didn't let us in because we had no tickets for kids. I explained to him that, there was no option in paddywagon website to book tickets for kids and there was no information/notice for families with kids , and no mention of ticket price for kids or opinions to book tickets for kids.. I then agreed to pay for kids there, but then baby seat was the next issue. He made several calls to his office and we had to wait there for 30-45 minutes to clarify things, along with other passengers.!!! One more thing I want to share with you. Most of the tour companies in Ireland give "kids go free" with adults. But paddywagon charged me 60 euros for my 5 year old daughter and 5months old son....!!! I don't know on what basis you charge tickets for infants.. This was the first time I ever paid for small kids on a bus in Ireland.. if you browse through Google, all other tour companies have "kids go free with adults" option. It was my mistake to choose paddywagon tours. Not recommended for families with kids.
Connemara and Galway Tour Friday 17 January 20. An excellent tour with Wayne. Polite, friendly, loved his humour and very knowledgeable. Plenty of time to wander the streets and enjoy the areas we stopped at.
Places visited are wonderful; however the driver/guides estimates of the time it takes to walk from the parking area to the attractions (Rope Bridge and Giant's Causeway) is grossly underestimated. Need more time at each attraction.
We had a wonderful time going on the Paddywagon tour to Cliffs of Moher. Pickup-time was as sheduled, there were plenty of stops on the way and our driver Paul was extremely funny and told a lot about the history of Ireland. Highly recommend PaddyWagon Tours to anyone visiting Ireland.
If you are doing a cliffs of Moher trip stay away. Schedule is way too tight, times at sights are limited and you have a 50-50 chance of getting a driver barking orders at people, driving like a maniac and threatening to leave you behind if you are less than 5 minutes early (yes early, not late). Definitely a no-go.
Tour ran on time and just as described. Our driver Gary was very enthusiastic and pride in his country shone through. Personally, I could have done with less talking and story telling, and more quiet time. This was a really full day and maybe less variety is needed as it was quite rushed at the spots to enjoy them: the stop at the castle wasn't worth the time as you park so far away you can't see much and also at that point in the day, energy is quite low. Lunch at ? wherever was very good. If you're into the Games of Thrones you'll like this tour as it seems to be the consistent theme throughout. I'd certainly take another PW tour if I ever came back to Ireland as they are very professional and organized. I appreciate that Gary tried to keep the woman that was always five to ten minutes late, on time, thanks, too bad she didn't take it to heart.
We had Fin as our tour driver and I could not ask for a better guide! He was funny! Very knowledgeable about the route and areas! Made everyone laugh and made the ride enjoyable!!! I cant wait to come back to Dublin and cant wait to get on another tour! Hopefully with Fin again!!!!
Great tour; needed two buses and we had to wait an hour before the second arrived. Understand it was mechanical problem that had to get fixed; bus driver was fun
I would highly recommend Paddywagon Tours. Patrick, Richard, Brian, Rory and Bailey made our tours enjoyable, informative and fun. I can t say enough about this tour company!
Super trip with a great guide/driver named John. I would highly recommend this trip. Only one thing.. The time was way too short in Kilkenny and I would suggest adding 2 more hours and charge 25!
The tour for Blarney and Cork was so much fun. Our tour guide, Paul, was so knowledgeable and kind and friendly! Definitely would recommend and would do another tour with them!
Our driver, Malcolm, was not just a guide. He was a friend showing his buddies some of his favourite places in his beautiful country. You can't put a price on that! Thank you for going above and beyond what anyone could expect. You really made this tour.
The bus was excellent, hostels were clean and breakfast was always on offer, and Ireland was just REALLY beautiful!
Only regret was that I chose the 6-day Southern Ireland tour instead of the 9-day tour of the entire country... But other than that, it was the best experience of my life.
If you're still undecided, STOP IT. Just do the tour!
An enjoyable and interesting day despite some rain (it's Ireland, after all!) and a mysterious problem with our bus, which was resolved quickly with 2 rescue buses.
We did the Cliff of Moher day tour with our guide John who was very helpful and knowledgeable in the history of Ireland. He even sang us a few Irish folk songs during the coach ride. The cliff itself was beautiful and we were blessed with a sunny weather. Definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a tour to Cliff of Moher.
For 29 pounds, it's a great value. I got to see the dark hedges, cross the rope bridge, hike around giant's causeway, and view the Dunlace Castle. I got to sit back and enjoy the ride, without the stress of driving (and since, I'm American, making sure I drive on the correct side). The driver was jovial and friendly and made plenty of silly jokes to keep things light. I also learned a bit about history and culture. I would definitely recommend this tour. I'm an expert at analyzing situations to determine how to make them better. And I can attest that there is no improving on this tour.
8 years ago to the day I visited Ireland for the first time. Went on the tour to the cliffs and had a great experience! Flash forward to this trip, my wife and I went on two tours! Back to the cliffs of moher, and to Kilkenny. We had a great time!!! Great drivers, great tour guides. Paddy wagon is cheaper than any other in Ireland, they have the most tours, and they are great professionals. The paddy wagon can not control outside factors such as people being late to the pickups, people being drunk, being loud, late, etc... so if this happens don t blame the guide and driver, blame the fellow bus riders! Would recommend and will be using again in future visits!!
We had Frank for one tour and Bailey for the other. Great speakers, very knowledgeable, funny, great stories, I will be requesting them on my next visit.
We went with the smaller bus. Patrick was wonderful. Engaging and articulate, he really added to the experience. We signed up primarily for the Giants Causeway but walking through the Dark Hedges and Black Taxi tour of Belfast were both very enjoyable. The traditional Irish lunch was great. Highly recommend.
Amazing and special! Wayne was incredible! We were on the Elegant Irish Tour van and found out we were the only 2 people on the tour to Blarney Castle. Wayne was very knowledgeable about the local history and had some great stories to tell. He also arranged for us to have a private tour of Cahir Castle. Great memories that we will never forget. Thanks Wayne!
We had a great time on our tour. John was hilarious and has the voice of an angel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to take a tour of the cliffs!
Very happy with the tour, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, and not to mention very entertaining while in the bus. Just can't remember the guys name except started with a 'T'.
As amazing as Dublin is already, this tour was grand. The pick-up was very smooth and efficient. They have you meet off the beaten path (so that you are not lost in the crowd and impacting normal life). Once everyone is checked in, they march you to the waiting van or bus. Once on the bus, you are off. Because of the distance to the first stop, we pulled into a petrol station for coffee, tea, snacks, and/or a potty break. It is a convenience store and so are the prices. Then off we went again. The next couple stops were absolutely stunning. Going into and around the mountain range was breath-taking and beyond description. You have to go to see! The 2-hour stop in Galway was a nice change from the mountain. There is tons to do and see in Galway. Our tour did not get to Galway until after 2 PM, so either grab snacks at one of the other stops (or pack them before the trip). We were able to bring food and drinks on the van, so that is not an issue (just don t get the carpet dirty). Galway is a large city just like Dublin, so getting out of town took about 30 minutes, but once we broke loose, the trip home is about 2 hours. Typically, the tour returns between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. So it is a long day and sitting most of the time. However, if you have the time (make the time) and able to sit that long (bring a cushion to sit on) THIS IS WORTH EVERY EURO!
I highly recommend the Paddywagon Tour for the Cliffs of Moher. The landscape crossing the country was beautiful. The stops were breathtaking and well planned out. While of course we would have liked more time at the Cliffs of Moher the hour and a half stop gave us plenty of time to walk around and seemed reasonable for a day trip across Ireland. The other stops also seemed reasonable in length and not too rushed. The bus had comfortable seats with USB chargers and free Wi-Fi which made the long journey a little nicer, but what really made the trip fly by was our amazing driver and guide, Val. Val filled our journey with interesting history, songs, humor, important information to help make each stop more meaningful, and quiet time to rest on the bus. This tour was a perfect balance of sightseeing, entertainment, and relaxation.
I was looking forward to do the Giant's Causeway tour from Dublin. It got cancelled 12 min before departure, while I was waiting for the bus to arrive. Blame was all on my late booking the night before. Fact was that there were not enough seats on the "small" bus. Probably not the best option for spontaneous trips!
We had a horrible experience with Paddywagon Tours. Our trip was planned for a very long time and our reservation was pd for well in advance. On the day of our tour, we were 1min late arriving to the location pick up. As we were crossing the street to the location, we saw the shuttle bus not even stop, but rather drive onward even though we tried to wave them down. When we called the office, they stated that there was nothing they could do. When we emailed the company for a refund, there response was "We cannot issue a refund as the bus departed at the advertised time & your time-keeping is not our responsibility". Unbelievable, we are tourists who are visiting the city for the first time, and they didn't even wait a minute or two for their guests at the pickup location, nor did they call. Really? I have followed up on several occasions and they are ignoring us. Do not utilize this company, there are others that provide the same trips and have great customer service.
We did the Cliffs of Moher tour which was made even better by our tour guide and driver who was funny as he was informative. Bus was clean, adequate comfort breaks and extra stops were a nice addition to the tour. We really lucked out w our guy and would recommend Paddywagon Tours. Thanks T, tips for local eats and drunk paid off!
Great trip. Did the Giants causeway. It was a full day full of fun & adventure. Lynch is not included in the price so plan of (including the tour) about 100 euro
I had an amazing time riding with Fenten! He was a joy to listen to and was extremely helpful when I needed to charge my phone. Would definitely go on a tour with him again!
Two friends and I took 4 different day tours with Paddywagon Tours during our 8 day trip to Dublin and those days were some of the best of our trip. Our guide, Ruairi, was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, gave good food (and music) recommendations, and had a great sense of humor. We spent many hours talking and laughing over those 4 days. I highly recommend Paddywagon Tours and Ruairi!!
I would recommend 5 stars anytime! I took a 1-day tour to Giants Causeway and then the 2-day tour to Galway/Cliffs of Moher. Had a blast, met some great people on the tours, and the tour guides on both were great in explaining Irish history and what we were looking at as we passed or visited. Next time I would love to try a longer tour!
