If you go to Ireland get Paddywagon for your tours. They are affordable, nice and very knowledgable. I loved the service they rendered and we did 4 tours with them. We got the best amazing service on each and every tour we did. We where able to save money and used them for a one way ticket from Dublin to Kilkenny and from Cork to Killarney. They are just AMAZING,

We took the two day tour of Northern Ireland which included Belfast, sites along the Antrim coast, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Giants Causeway. The sites in the tour and the driver/guide was very nice. The amount of time at each location was very tight and I felt very rushed. This was a two day tour and I was not confident the local agent even knew we were coming. It all worked out in the end, but I would recommend a little more organization and maybe warn the bus riders in advance of the time constraints. This would set expectations correctly and give a sense of security to the people on the tour. Also give an option for people who are not comfortable with student type lodging. I would have paid extra for a nice hotel in city center.

I had so much fun with this tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great time keeper. I really enjoyed that we made extra stops; it helped break up the long drive. I wish we had gotten just a little more time at the Cliffs, maybe another half-hour, and just gotten back to Dublin a bit later, but other than that the tour was lovely.

I went on a Paddywagon tour to the Cliffs of Moher...

I went on a Paddywagon tour to the Cliffs of Moher yesterday and it was amazing. Our tour guide/driver/stand-up comedy guy was the nicest and funniest ever (Finn, that's his name!). He told us a lot of curiosities, anecdotes and facts about Irelad. The Cliffs were the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
The drive is pretty long, but there are a lot of stops on the way to see small castles or even just to have a coffee and use the restrooms.
A plus was the bus... very comfortable, I slept all the way back to Dublin because I was too tired LOL
What's a pity is that the time at the Cliffs is not much because it's a one-day trip (a little less than 12h)... but you can see and enjoy them no matter what. Otherwise, I think they offer over-night stay tours, just check on their website.
I absolutely suggest you go with them on your tour!!!

Amazing tour. Beautiful country. Few hiccups with late start of the tour which resulted in a hurried & rushed 1st day - to stay on schedule I suppose.
Bus breakdown on day 2 & consequent +\- 2 hour delay. Question then begs if that day's itinerary was cropped as a result.
Malcolm is an amazing tour guide though and is like Google - (but without Wi-Fi ). Appreciated the on board WiFi and USB ports. Sleepzone hostel in Galway is good - and the kitchen kept well & clean. Great filter coffee available at all times (welcome addition in the cold weather). Had MANY free hours there. Way too many for a lone traveller. Maybe a stop or so more at some of the beautiful sites that flies by?
The 2nd night at Paddy's Palace in Annascaul not as good as the Sleepzone in Galway. Kitchen not kept clean and sorry to say does not look hygienic at all. Found food (looked like warm salad(?)) outside on the kitchen counter - and it was there when we left. Heard many complaints about kitchen. No nice hot filter coffee this time & very basic breakfast.
Nice hot shower though - clean bedding & towels - and friendly people. Reasonable food at bar next door and enjoyed the 2 troubadours!
Sometimes too little time given at some places (not enough for entering & touring the sites) and would have loved seeing/entering a castle or two. (Blarney stone removed from itinerary? )
Rushed by a few beautiful (unknown) abbey-ruins and in stead of stopping in town (cannot remember which) - could rather have stopped at the castle and those who wanted lunch instead could have been dropped in town - a short way from there.
All in all a great tour though - and make sure to do the horse-buggy tour in the national park.
Going on my next 2 day tour - Northern Ireland - Belfast & Giants Causeway - tomorrow!

Brilliant trip. Our driver, big T, talked all the way round the trip keeping us entertained with tales and information and jokes too. He was a bit of a mad driver at times though.
The trip itself is HUGE value for money. Northern Ireland is such a beautfiul place. This trip takes in some magnificent areas

Lunch is expensive for what it is.... low quality buffet en route. (I recommend you Take your own lunch). Great trip. Fabulous value for money . paddywagon tours are recommended by me!

Three of us girls took a tour to the Cliff of Moher on 1 November from Dublin. We had a bad experience with our tour guide Rory who kept cracking sexist jokes. It made us uncomfortable. Its hard to believe that in this day and age, women still have to put up with sexist jokes on a day tour. Shame. Paddy Wagon as a company needs to immediately train their tour guides on respectful behaviour. Additionally, the tour guide was rude and condescending as well. He would force us to get out of the bus during the stop though it was raining, windy and very cold with no place to sit outside the bus. The visitor center was full and no place to sit or stand. Other bus tours allowed the passengers who did not want to get drenched in the rain to sit in the bus, but not ours. Insensitive tour guide.

Went on the Cork/Blarney/Kinsale tour with Jim. Jim was awesome, helpful and informative. Loved the tour because it is not on a huge tour bus (it's just the right size), Jim got us to Blarney Castle early so we beat the crowds (Blarney grounds we stunningly beautiful), and Kinsale was beautiful and quaint and enjoyed fish and chips, Irish stew, and a brew at Kitty O Ses. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about our PaddyWagon day tour yesterday from Dublin through Giant s Causeway and the surrounding area. Our driver and guide Frank had an infectious enthusiasm and helped make the experience 5 stars. He was also informative and funny. Definitely an asset to the PaddyWagon family.

The tour itself I felt was reasonably priced for the length of tour, the comfort of the tour bus, the level of service and the amount of attractions we were able to see.

Just book a tour, you won t regret it!!

Our tour guide, Rory was jovial, friendly and interactive with our tour group. He gave clear instructions on pick up times and how to best spend our time at each site. The only critique was in Cobh; to know that the Titanic exhibit took an hour so to plan accordingly.

THE BEST bus tours my wife and I have done anywhere! SUPER CLEAN BUSES (lets face it, that's the most important thing - without that, nothing else matters). VERY reasonably priced. The DRIVERS are both VERY PERSONABLE, but also EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, which makes each trip sooooooo much more enjoyable. They have both day trips as well as overnight trips available. While I've only taken day trips with them (4 seperate day trips), I have spoken to several people that did overnight trips, and all were extremely pleased with their outtings. Also, each bus has FREE WI-FI allowing those on each tour the ability to stay connected - just one more example of how PaddyWagon Tours goes the extra mile for their customers. I would recommend PaddyWagon Tours without hesitation to anyone! An excellent company dedicated to making your travels the most FUN, INTERESTING & INFORMATIVE possible. Again, I'm four tours in (across two seperate vacations) and I haven't regretted a single one. Do yourself a favour and ride with PaddyWagon Tours when you want to enjoy a bus tour in Ireland.

The tour starts off leaving Dublin as you take in ...

The tour starts off leaving Dublin as you take in the splendor of the Irish countryside (every mile of the Irish countryside is breathtaking). The first stop leaves you at the Obama Plaza (yes, that Obama, weird I know) where you can get a bite to eat and prepare yourself for the trip ahead. You can also take a picture with an old Cadillac and even Michelle and Barack! Then you continue to the Cliffs where the views are breathtaking. You get to choose whether you want to walk to the left side of the cliffs or to the right side of the cliffs (we went right). What a sight to see with the Aaron islands in the distance, ocean as far as the eyes can see, waves crashing on the rocks below, all very impressive. I guess depending on the time f year you will encounter annoying flying bugs that land on you and stick to everything in sight as you're trying to take it all in, but no worries, they're more of a bother than a real issue as they don't bite. After some fun photoshoots pretending to be falling off the cliff (be careful) we got back in the bus and drove to lunch (looking at more spectacular Irish countryside, but also some oceanside noow too). You stop to get some lunch at a small Irish town where you have to run to be first in line or they will run out of fish and chips before you get there. Next you make a stop in Burren, a vast rocky landscape on the coastline that is both dreary and odd as well as impressive and majestic. You continue on where you make a stop at another small town to grab an Irish coffee (be careful, really really hot) before return to Dublin. All the while we had a funny and very informative tour guide and beautiful Irish landscape on every side the entire ride. Definitely recommend taking the tour. Oh and the bus is very nice with plenty of space. You can even mention that you're hot and they'll cool the cabin. Take the tour!

We had a fantastic day with Paul from Paddywagon tours. He told us loads of fascinating history about the area, as well as some (not so good) jokes, fun stories, and he was a great guide. We stopped just enough times to see everything we wanted, and Paul's informal manner helped everyone feel at ease. Highly recommended!

Great day trip to killarney/ring of Kerry with Tom and Paul. Perfect weather too which really makes a difference. Got to see all the sites without the hassle of driving yourself. Would recommend less time at Muckross House and more time at Killarney though next time. Awesome lunch at cafe du parc at the killarney plaza hotel - had the rose, turkey club, and fried chicken sandwich (been in Ireland for 7 months and it s hard to find a good club sandwich) and stopped by the killarney brewing company for a quick pint!

Looks good on paper, actually is a terrible terrible experience!

And I'm not saying this alone, 3 out of my 5 friends have had; not just unpleasant, but terrible experiences using Paddywagon tours! Do yourself a favour, pay some extra money and choose another travel company which actually cares about their customers.
Here is my story:
Two weeks ago, my friend and I took a Giants causeway tour from Dublin, and at the first stop for coffee the driver just left us there!
Stranded in the middle of nowhere, he miscounted the number of passengers and left a minute before time. Somehow we managed to hitchhike to the final destination where we called up Paddywagon 'customer service' but instead of complying with us, the operator blamed that we missed the bus because and I quote 'we did not know the driver's name'. Our driver also never admitted his obvious mistake. After sending an email for requesting of a refund (as we missed 70% of our trip, we yet haven't got a single response.
My friends had different but still terrible experiences from this same company regarding customer service.
Thank God we had the presence of mind to improvise after being left stranded but it could have been disasterous!

A fantastic tour, with amazing views and very useful and interesting information. The majority of the bus was angry upset with constantly waiting for 2 passengers who were late back from every stop. We really feel they should have been left behind after the 3rd incident as it affected our time in future stops. The operators really should have been stricter with these passengers and taken the other passenger's views into consideration. However, I would recommend this tour as I would hope this is an isolated incident.

The 3 day Southern Ireland tour was a stress free easy way to explore the Cliffs of Moher, part of the Ring of Kerry & charming Irish Villages. Our driver/guide Dan was very easy going and knowledgeable about all things Irish. We enjoyed hearing about the history of this beautiful country. The accommodations in the B & B s were very comfortable, clean with nice Irish breakfast options. Dan never made us feel rushed and he was always available for questions. The bus/coach was clean with free WiFi & power outlets. My only negative was the dinner the 2nd night was not very good, even though it was complimentary others options would have been nice. I will definitely recommend this Paddywagon Tour to family & friends.

The tour itself is actually okay. I would give a 4/5 for the experience. However, I realized the company has been dishonest trying to "filter out good reviews only". I received an email asking me to rate the tour shortly after the trip. When I pressed 3 stars or less, the link leads me to an error page or the company feedback page. 4 or 5 stars, you will be led to the corresponding google page of the tour. Personally I don't like this, thus the 2 stars

Cliffs of Moher: Don't let the thought of a 3-4 hour bus trip to the cliffs stop you. Our driver stopped along the way, told wonderful stories, and the time passed quickly. When you get to the cliffs, you know it was all worth it. A must do when in Ireland!

Wicklow and Kilkenny was a great tour. Our bus trip was scenic and driver/guide John was friendly and made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. He kept us laughing while sharing lots of information at the same time. The places we stopped at were incredible, I loved Glendalough majestic beautiful nature and a historical midlevel town. It was John s birthday and we sang a happy BD song to him. He was very considered and kind. Would highly recommend this for those who are looking for something to see on a day trip..
One suggestion I have for the company is to add stops for a bathroom break during the 2 hour drive between places, as some people needed it due to a medical condition.

Guide and bus were 40min late and the bus was full of garbage above the seats and on the floor. Because of departing late, it was like "there's this beautiful trail in Glendalough whcih takes 45 mins but you won't have time for that" , so basically we had a cappuccino in the hotel. And then in Kilkenny, dropped us in the castle, the guide wrote the name of 3 restaurants in a paper and showed the paper to everyone leaving the bus. No directions, nothing.

The tour to Giant s causeway on 10/31/19 was really cool. The dynamism of the guide contributed a lot to provide a good day. Fantastic reception and visited places. Just a small caveat at the stop in Belfast, which I think should stop at a place with more sights to take pictures. Even so, the tour was well worth it. Totally recommendable !!

I love Paddywagon Tours (I have taken 3) and LOVE ...

I love Paddywagon Tours (I have taken 3) and LOVE the guides. Can't say enough about them. They are extremely entertaining and very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland.

I would caution about the multi-day tours. The accomodations are very interesting. On the 2 day tour to Belfast, the "economy" accomodations were in a building across the street from the main building which was a hostel. I have never stayed in a hostel and the idea of it was not appealing so I paid extra for upgraded lodging.

The entrance to the "lodging" was via a locked back door gate (not lit at night), thru the entry door and then upstairs to my room. Entry to the main door and my room door was by large skeleton key. I asked to practice using the key several times before I was left on my own, as it was not that easy. The lock to my room took me several minutes the first few times I tried. This also means I needed to use the skeleton keys to leave my room and exit the building on the main floor (the back door gate could be unlocked from the inside with the turn of a knob and without needing a key). This was rather alarming as it would surely be against all types of fire and safety codes here in the USA. If there was a fire and depending on how long it took me to use the skeleton keys, I might not have gotten out in time.

That being said, there was not a phone in the room. I was a solo traveler from out of the country so what would I do if something happened? Who would I call on my cell phone? The area was quiet and when I asked if it was safe, I was told yes it was a college student area. Since the local college was still out for summer break, it was quiet. Fortunately I made friends with another solo traveler who was staying across the street in the hostel. We connected on Facebook messenger she graciously said I could instant message her if I needed help. Really. That was my security. Hoping she would hear her message alert. Far better than nothing so I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep.

The bed had the support of a hammock and although the sheets were clean and had fold marks of newly laundered sheets, the bed smelled faintly of body odor. I sensed it was coming from the mattress which was clearly the cheapest available and quite old.

I was never so happy to wake up the next morning. The second day of the tour was great and I would give this review 5 stars but unfortunately the bare-bones accomodations were a slight detraction. Rather surprised this overnight accomodation was the same price as the hotels I stayed in Dublin and other parts of Ireland but a fraction of the quality.

I went on the 6 day All Ireland tour. Our bus driver/tour guide was Alex. It was an incredible experience that highlights the main things to see and do in Ireland. Worth the money. It s a lot of walking/hiking and some of the drives between cities are long, but if you can handle it pleas do it. You will more than likely meet people from your country, and make friends with fellow explorers and locals. This was the most wonderful time for me. Highly highly recommend! I love Paddywagon.

We took a tour from Dublin down to Blarney Castel ...

We took a tour from Dublin down to Blarney Castel with a stop at Rock of Cashel and in Cork
Our tour guide, Erin, was wonderful. He kept us entertained but not annoyed (it's a fine line isn't it?), for the entire tour. Because of the miles covered, the stops at Rock of Cashel and in Cork were very short. We had enough time to climb to the top of Rock of Cashel and take a quick look, and then it was back down and onto the bus. We had an hour total in Cork, and it was just enough time really to have a bite to eat.
Blarney Castle and the gardens were beautiful, and if you plan on kissing the stone, touring the gardens, and making the trip to the Mill, you may be disappointed. The line up to kiss the Blarney Stone was very long, and I don't think we were there at a particularly busy time.
The gardens are post-card worthy, and gorgeous.
The mill was lovely, and a great place to pick up gifts and souvenirs. Take my advice and get a blanket AND a sweater. I left the sweater behind, and I think I"ll have to go back and rescue it ;)

We booked online 2 days prior to our supposed day trip to the cliffs of moher and we arrived on time and we waited with so many other people, two buses came already almost full and some people got on and the rest of us kept waiting for another 45 minutes until they decided to tell us that there are no more buses coming for us today and they were overbooked!!
Furious and disappointed we called their office, and they were like oh can t you make it some other day?! , and apparently they are so unprofessional because people make plans and when someone books online, any respectable company will know how many people booked and plan accordingly, if they care about their customers, their credibility or their reputation!!
I have never had such a terrible experience in my whole life, totally unprofessional in every aspect!

I don't find professionalism on an organized tour to show you the moher cliffs that once arrived at your destination tells you that they are closed. Are we joking?

We left at 7:30 am and then passed in front of the gate of the cliffs at about 2:30 pm and without stopping we continued and we were taken to a village about 1 hour away where there is a 30 minute stop. At the end of the break the driver tell us that the cliffs are closed without too many explanations! I can understand that they were closed for safety reasons due to bad weather but how it is possible that the tour organised for show me the cliffs did not get informed before leaving Dublin and let me do 12 infinite hours of bus??
Moral of the story: 45 euros to sit in a bus for 12 hours and have seen practically nothing! Thank you guys

Our tour was to leave at 9.45 from the Europa. We ...

Our tour was to leave at 9.45 from the Europa. We arrived a few minutes early. There was a paddy wagon bus there but it was full.
Our guide showed up and explained that our bus was late so we continued to wait. We waited there for 45 minutes before our bus actually showed up which gave a very bad start to the day.
The bus picked us up at the Europa. It was not a Paddy wagon bus but an extremely uncomfortable rented bus as we were told that paddy wagon had overbooked and had to rent this as overflow. This was unacceptable and this meant the whole day we would be travelling on this uncomfortable bus with poor air con.

We then were told by our tour guide Bailey that we had to go out to a hostel to do another pickup. This was about a 10 minute drive and then when we did that pickup they realised that someone had not been picked up at the Europa so we had to go back there again.
When we got back to the europa there was one girl waiting to be picked up and there was no seats on our bus so our guide had to stand which is dangerous and illegal. All because paddy wagon had booked too many on a tour and could not cater for them.

We finally proceeded to leave the city and were heading for the dark hedges. Our guide was then on the phone trying to book us in for the days activities which we could not believe is not done in advance! When doing this he was told that we would be too late arriving at the rope bridge so we had to skip the dark hedges and go straight to the bridge and would do the dark hedges on the way home.

Everyone on the tour just could not believe how badly organised this whole day was. But that was not the end of the disaster of a tour. About 5 minutes in to the tour the microphone stopped working on the tour so we either had the guide (who really tried his best to keep the day going considering the absolute mess his company left him with) shouting through the bus to get to the people at the back or else we could not hear at all. I cannot believe in this day and age that paddy wagon could not get a working microphone for a tour.

Because of all of the mess ups we ended up having a very rushed day and did not get to enjoy the tour at all.

I emailed Paddy wagon and nobody bothered to get back to me

It was an excellent tour in itself. I would, in ad...

It was an excellent tour in itself. I would, in addition, recommend Frank - our driver and the guide. Frank was presenting the sights with so much simplicity yet so much information. He never ran out of jokes and funny comments which had everyone very well entertained during the entire time.
Excellent!
