We did the Cliffs of Moher tour and it was amazing! The scenery of course speaks for itself, but I'm writing a review because our tour guide Val was so great! He made the ride very entertaining with a good mix of real history, tall tales, songs, and "craic". Thanks Val for an awesome trip!

We did the Giant's Causeway tour from Dublin. The rope bridge was closed because of high winds, but we didn't care about that, anyway, so we didn't mind. Our bus driver/tour guide, John, was friendly and hilarious. He made the experience enjoyable for everyone. Giant's Causeway was great, The Dark Hedges were very cool, and we enjoyed our time in Belfast. I'd recommend Paddywagon and specifically the Giant's Causeway tour to everyone.

Our tour around the Ring of Kerry with Rory was fantastic! The scenery was beautiful and Rory had us laughing nearly the whole time. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting southwestern Ireland!

Brilliant half day out to see the Wicklow mountains - perfect if you only have a couple of days in Dublin as still plenty of time to see the rest of the city but get a glimpse of the countryside on the outskirts!

Our tour guide Frank was the best! He was so interesting and made our tour very enjoyable. Ireland was absolutely beautiful, and we had a great time. The only thing I wish was that the itinerary and schedule would be posted in more detail beforehand with return times etc.

I took the day trip to Blarney and had a horrible experience. The tour guide gave us near to none commentary throughout the day. Would not give us an exact time to meet and finding him and the bus was scattered and difficult. Would not take again.

Pickup was easy and simple. Our driver was funny, informative and extremely friendly- he waited for everyone. A general rule to follow is to be on time and that includes all excursions. Our driver gave us more than enough time to see everything, and for such a cheap cost, I could not have asked for a better tour of the cliffs of moher.

The scenery and the guides were excellent. The operators were disorganised in that accommodation did not appear to be booked in advance, our group was split for the night (I ended up on my own), and although a taxi was ordered for the next morning to get me/us to the tour departure point, the taxi driver did not appear informed of where the tour was leaving from the next day. This meant a bus load of people waited 45 mins while we tried to locate the tour bus.

Did the Giant's Causeway tour.

Please scrap a couple of stops and give more time to the two biggest attractions attractions, especially the rope bridge.

And, your driver does well in reminding about being on time to depart to the next stop, but maybe he should state it once or twice in a more neutral way, rather than making a an apparently funny but uncomfortable joke about it, making people anxious or annoyed about it.

We had such a good trip to the Cliffs of Moher. I would recommend this tour company to anyone, and I will definitely use it again next time I am back in Ireland. Val (our tour guide) was absolutely incredible, so funny, kind and truly cared about the people on the tour. The bus also had amazing accommodations like wifi and usb plug ins. I had the best experience during this tour!!

The bus driver was very informational and threw in a few jokes and also was a comfortable driver. The only things I didn't like was that I had to find transportation really early in the morning for my tour at 6:20 am and by the end of the trip my body was hurting from sitting so much

Good guide with a lot of jokes and historical facts. You see a lot during the Giant's Causeaway Tour and therefore I would recommend to skip one destination so you have more time for the other ones. Belfast in 1 hour - just way too less time. But apart of this, we all had a great time!

I have taken multiple Paddywagon tours but most recently did the small group tour to the Cliffs of Moher. They always do a great job with logistics and keeping you on time to see all the spots on the itinerary. They handle all tickets and make it really easy. The guides are always very personable, and our last guide (Dominic) did a great job of weaving in Irish history and culture to make the drives to the locations go by easier.

I did the day tour from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher with my sisters on Saturday May 25. Our tour guide/driver was Val (don't call me Valentine) - and if you are lucky enough to get him as your guide, you will not regret it. We had a GREAT day full of fun and laughter, he was such pleasure and truly an entertainer. He provided a great mix of historical information as well as songs and tales. The day flew by and we had so much fun! Even though after driving all the way to the Cliffs the fog was too thick and we were unable to see anything, we did not regret booking the tour at all! We had such a fun day!! My sister had done multiple bus tours through the country and said he was by far the best driver she has ever had. Such a great experience, I would give 10 stars if I could!

Did a 9 day tour here on my own. Very cool experience, nice people met. You see and do a lot. In addition to the busy attractions, you also visit lesser known places. The hostel option is good for young people, but bring earplugs.

We took the 4-day South West Ireland Tour from Dublin. It was spectacular and perfect in almost every respect; the only improvement I could recommend is that the tour bus from Dublin to Galway was packed full and the seats were small; however, for the rest of the trip, we had a smaller bus with larger seats and plenty of room. Our tour guide, Malcolm Skelly, was outstanding: sweet, friendly, funny, thoughtfully concerned about the well-being of his guests, able to navigate the cliff roads like an expert, and supremely knowledgeable about Ireland and practically everything else! This was the best part of our 10-day trip to Ireland. Thank you, Malcolm!

Such an amazing experience! We got to see so much of Ireland. We left from Dublin so we got to leave the city life for a day and see the country. I literally cried at the cliffs of moher because it was so beautiful so I recommend it. We stopped at cool places and little towns along the way. Paul, our guide was amazing. He was funny and told stories and sang songs that we all still have stuck in our heads. It made the bus rides fun too. AMAZING TRIP. if I go back to Ireland (planning on it) I'll do paddywagon again and ask for Paul!

Excellent tour led by Alan! I m a solo traveller and too often tours can be quite a toil when surrounded by couples - especially on Valentine s Day low and behold - but Alan was expert at putting me at ease as well as teaching me some genuine facts about the causeway and Belfast as a whole. It was a wonderful tour to end my trip around Ireland, and I shall be certainly using Paddywagon tours again on return trips.

This was an awesome Tour and would highly recommend it. We had a great team lead by Bailey and John. Bailey kept us well informed and took command of the tour. He kept us on time and even managed a couple of extra stops to keep us comfortable. He was engaging and I found him to be very informed on the history of Ireland. He also provided great recommendations for things to visit in Dublin. It can be difficult to manage such a large group however Bailey handled himself professionally and helped make the day delightful.

Very knowledgeable, very charismatic, the driver really made the difference.

It was pretty great! We had one annoying bus driver, but other than that the sites we saw and places to stop and eat were great! The travel time on the bus provided time to sleep and hear about the history in Ireland.

this is the best choice for us to choose Paddywagon, the leader is very gentle and responsible for the whole trip, and his advice of having lunch in a local pub is also fantastic, the fish in there is very fresh and taste well. My friends and i have a nice trip, the cliff of Moher is gorgeous and you can find mentally peaceful here. Thanks for Paddy wagon s professional tourist trip, and also thanks the leader.

I had the best experience with Paddywagons, our tour guides Paul and Richard were great and so funny. Richard's choice of music at the end had the whole bus cracking up. I wish we had a little more time in each place sometimes 2 hours just isn't enough when you are in Ireland and there is so much history, but it was a great experience, learned a lot and I am very happy! We will be recommending you guys to our friends and family!

I just got back from Ireland and did an Irish Day tour and a Paddywagon tour. While I had a blast on both, I couldn't recommend Paddywagon enough, especially with our guide Val. He was very energetic and made sure we knew the history of our stops and that we had a good time doing it.

Very enjoyable tour at the Cliffs of Moher. Lee was a good host.

Two recommendations: Consider omitting one random castle/village stop to allow another 1 hour at the Cliffs. 90 minutes just flies by. Secondly, consider installing a toilet on these massive buses. This is 3.5 hours each way with 50 people, one stop per way is bound to make some people uncomfortable.

Spectacular tour, while worth the 40. Many tours that I have been on only stop at one place and a rest stop, but this tour showed us various different stops in County Clare and County Galway asides from the Cliffs of Moher. Our guide Dominic was really fun and a true Irish lad...not only was he extremely knowledgeable about Ireland's history and landscape, but he also sang traditional Irish songs such as the Lonely Prison Walls, one of my favorites. Really beautiful tour and comfortable bus...the only downside and it is small was that the lunch joint that we stopped at was overpriced and the only decent thing was the seafood chowder, which I recommend trying, but pack everything else or grab something along the way...other than that amazing and I recommend it.

We where in three busses. First one was the best. Paul our driver/tour guide was great. Everyone on the bus loved him. Funny and helpfull.
Bad part of the two day tour was having to change busses 3 times. The last one that took us home to Dublin did not drop us off where paddywagon said they would and we had to walk 20 min to our b&b and that with all our luggage. Not on. Spoilt the whole trip.

We were in Dublin for just 2 days but we knew we absolutely had to take a tour to the Cliffs of Moher. Our guide/driver, Val, was the funniest freaking guy. He made the 4 hour drive go by so quick, knowing exactly when to give us facts about an area, sing a song, make us laugh, or just let us sleep! The trip there and back were broken up nicely with stops at gas stations, pubs for lunch, and castles. Val was also a GENIUS!! He took us on a different path than the other buses which put us at the cliffs later, and I'm so glad he did! The other buses weren't able to see anything because it was raining and very foggy. When we got to the cliffs around 1:30, we were kind of disappointed because you literally could not see anything. It was crazy foggy and still drizzling. We went back to the visitors center for like 20 minutes, and when we came back out the fog had cleared and you could actually see the cliffs!! So for the last 45 minutes or so we were actually able to enjoy the beautiful sights, which is more than the other buses can say! Of course even if we hadn't been able to see them, it would have been no fault of Val's since that's just what the weather is like everyday here, so it's very hit or miss. Overall this was just the best experience and probably our favorite part of our trip! I would definitely recommend both this company and Val (if you're lucky enough to get him as your guide)! You wouldn't regret booking this trip!

Have had a fantastic time on 3 Paddy Wagon day tours this week. I am exhausted and feel like I have seen a lot of Ireland in a short time and learned a lot! Cork with Blarney Castle, Belfast with Titanic and the black Taxi tour, and Kilkiny. Tom, Frank, and Dominic were fabulous guides and it was all very informative. I loved the black taxi tour in Belfast and our last guide, Dominic, to Blarney was awesome!!!

My experience with Paddywagon tours was good. Unfortunately the microphone on the tour bus was broken for the majority of the trip which really took away from the guided tour experience. The stops on the Kerry Tour were great but I didn't feel as though I learned much about them. I have another tour booked for next month so I am hoping the experience is better.

We are in from Canada and had two back to back tours. The first was to Blarney Castle and Second was to Kilkenny. Drivers we had were Frank on the first tour and Daren on the second tour The places were amazing and scenery was breath taking for sure, but, both of the drivers made the trip . They both have a very down to earth character with a great sense of humor and we enjoyed the tours so much more because of them Thank you Lori & Marc Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Early morning on the 16 passenger tour bus but well worth the trip. The boat ride to see the Cliffs-of-Moher was on rough water so I wouldn't recommend that as an add-on; the boat was packed and it was difficult to take a photo as people crowded the rails and would not move. The bus trip was wonderful and our guide, Row, was knowledgeable and helpful. The Cliffs-of-Moher are epic and we'll worth the trip from Dublin.

Very beautiful places with a friendly and informative driver. The only thing I wish we had more time in Glendalough, in one hour we had to really walk it fast up to the Upper Lake and go back straight! I guess all tours are the same. It was still worth it because the place is magical.

My boyfriend and I had booked a tour to the Cliffs...

My boyfriend and I had booked a tour to the Cliffs of Moher about a month ago. Unfortunately, storm Brendan struck which closed the Cliffs of Moher the day we were planning to go. A red status warning was issued, which closed the Cliffs of Moher tour office and when looking at their website, they pleaded that no one come to the cliffs as it is severely dangerous in these conditions.

Paddywagon tour never even informed us that the cliffs would be closed; we had to find out by looking at Facebook. Of course, we did not want to attend a tour that would last an entire day (12 hours plus) that wouldn t even go to our final destination.

We walked all the way to Paddywagon s tour office to request a refund for this trip (in the middle of storm Brendan I might add), because it was our last day in Europe and we would not be able to reschedule. They refused and said they best they could do was give us a company credit that would only be valid for the next year. However, they would not take care of that on the spot and instead told us to email the company. We did so, and never got a response.

Now I understand not offering refunds for people that miss their buses, or other situations like that. However, when a storm closes the Cliffs for safety reasons, I think it is INSANE that a giant company like this would not offer refunds. This situation was entirely out of our control, and now I m out over $100. Apparently these type of storms only close the cliffs a couple times a year too, so it s not like they d have to issue these refunds often.

I will never use this company even if I come back to Dublin. I am so disappointed that they could not do anything for me in this situation, not even a simple email response. I would not recommend booking tickets in advance because you have no way of getting refunded if something goes wrong. Stay away!!
