Fabulous on line experience! Everything was exactly as stated.

Company has a 30 day return policy, which normally would be fine, but make sure you aren't a prep in advance person that buys gifts early because they will not offer any type of return, exchange, partial refund, etc. They respond on the comments here like they will with a restocking fee, total b.s. You can not get them on the phone and they just respond with generic emails. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company and experience will never order from them again and plan to make alta aware of the type of people selling their shoes.

I was impressed with how easy to navigate the website. It s really easy to find the product with all the categories that they provided on the website. And the most important thing is there is no shipping cost and restocking fee. The customer service is very fast response, they answered and help me whenever I have any questions about the product. Very trusted company!

This is a HORRIBLE company. I have every reason to believe that the blah blah about the owner being prior military is true because they are crooks. They sell work boots on amazon and i ordered what i usually wear which is a 12EE. When i received the boots they dint fit. i returned them to exchange them for a 13EE and had to pay $42 (25%) of my order just to try and exchange them. Then i was told to read the fine print which comes right after where it says 100% money refunded. Jerks like this should not be on amazon where they pray on people $40 at a time. The boots i bought were "in stock" and im hit with a $40 restocking fee to put them back on a shelf. DO NOT SHOP HERE! heaven forbid if the item you buy doesn't fit right because you will be charged excessive amounts of money to return or exchange it. CROOKS!!

DO not buy through Amazon. Returned a brand new pair of shoes that was the wrong size and they charged me $35.00 to do so. Worst return I have ever had. I call it robbery!!!!

When you read through the first line of the return policy you assume that as long as you return within 30 days its all good.

Ordered work boots for my husband wesite said 5-7 day shipping and tracking provided after almost a week no tracking number i asked the status of the order they informed me that it was a speciality item coming from someone else and it would ship the next week!!!!! Really i ordered it straight from their website expecting it from them not someone else i would have went somewhere else to buy them had i known.why would you list your product on your website and it not come from you. The website should notify people its from a third party. So beware if your like us on a budget and you need them asap because your husbands curent ones are falling apart you wont get them fast at all you will wait at least 2 weeks. Unfortunately though we cant find these in store. But other companies online have them. Should have known when it didnt offer a different shipping option.

I had a very positive experience buying a swimming suit from Outdoor Equipped. They communicated clearly and the item arrived within the specified timeframe and was as described.

I ordered military belleville boots for hiking. Boot had a factory defect and started falling apart after two hiking trips. Explained this and the fact that the boots were not resellable on my return request. These boots were built to military standards and quality was unacceptable. It cost 20 dollars to return boots and this company only refunded me 1 dollar as in it was a joke. Luckily thanks to Amazon great service they covered the cost. Woudnt even look into the window if I passed this store.

Horrible customer service. I ordered the proper size in Tsukihoshi shoes for my son. He was currently wearing a size 4, I ordered a size 4.5 for him. When they arrived my son could not even put his foot in them. I placed them next to the old shoes the new 4.5 shoes were smaller than the size 4 shoes, same brand. Seller accused me of ordering the wrong size. They charged me 20% restocking fee (my son has been wearing, only this brand for 10 years!) I ordered a size 5 from Amazon- they were still too small. I found 2 other reviews from other customers stating they run small compared to other Tsukihoshi styles. After much patronizing banter from their customer service representative, they offered a 10% waving of the restocking fee, they would wave the 20% fee if I purchased another pair of shoes. Pshh, your customer service instills so much confidence in me that I'd order from you again. He[[ no! I recommend that you shop elsewhere, there are plenty of better options online.

I Recently had a Warranty Claim on some work boots that were purchased online. Customer Service was excellent as they processed the claim in a timely manner and sent me a product replacement. I highly recommend Outdoor equipped for your clothing needs! 5+Stars!!

I ordered a pair of boots. They arrived in a very timely manner. Sadly I need to return them due to no fault of the company (they're a little too big for me) I don't like that I am responsible for the return shipping though.

I bought a pair of ariat boots from them through amazon. They where the same size and style/design I currently wear. The pair they sent did not fit my feet. They charged me for shipping and returning plus kept 20% of the cost of the boots. I asked the service center if they would issue a full refund if I would reorder. She said she has no control over the refund deptment. Just reorder and hope they catch it and not charge me the 20% but I ll still be liable for shipping and return cost. 190.00 on sell refunded 139.00. Buy from anyone else on amazon. Worst customer service ever. One other thing is I can t write a review on amazon. Amazon says if the link is down it s on outdoorequipped for not letting amazon customers leave review. All other orders I can.

Eh..what can I say? I find it ridiculous that it takes 2 weeks to ship an item from the company. I literally had to beg for them to send my bf's shoes so he could get them by his birthday, otherwise he would've received them 2 wks after his birthday. The 2 customer service reps I talked to on their online chat box option, were rude. When I purchased the shoes which came out of one paycheck, I "thought" it was a done deal as far as them paid in full. Then the money goes back onto my card the next week then taken off again which screwed up my rent payment that week when it was due. I ended up short. I can say I won't ever deal with the company again. The shoes are nice though and that's seriously the Only thing I can say that's nice. It was a mess. I buy A LOT online...I've NEVER had this much of a problem buying from a company, ever. All his shoes are bought online. You can find better deals that way, but I'll pay more next time if I have to, than go through this company.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I ordered a pair of boots from them on Amazon I realized right away this was the wrong model, I need the safety toe version. All I wanted was a simple exchange. I notified them right away. I was told it was to late even though they confirmed the boots had not yet shipped. I was told I should reject the shipment once received and place a new order, I was told my refund would be processed once returned. I did and after placing the new order i received this from the seller

Weeks to process a refund on what should have been a simple exchange. I was not happy and after beginning the charge back process with my credit card company miraculously today they were able to issue a refund. Of course minus a $12.00 mystery fee for the privilege of doing business with this company. I had the choice of buying from the Amazon fulfillment center, no fee return or exchange. Bought directly from Wolverine no fee returns or exchange and great customer service. Instead I choose Amazon for ease and thought I was helping the little guy by choosing Outdoor Equipped. I thought I was dealing with an honorable infantry veteran just trying to feed his family with fairness in the return process. Mike the owner would not even return my call.

I ordered 3 pairs of twisted x and only 1 arrived. I sent an email to the customer service email. 3 stars because one pair made it and in a timely manor. The other 2 shoes are missing like the other 2 stars.

The other 2 shoes arrived fairly quickly. They had some miscommunication within the company on what was and was not in stock. The twisted x moccasins are amazing and sizing was perfect. Thank you outdoor equiped for sending my remaining order.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Wish there was a no star option! Ordered a pair of shoes via Amazon for a wedding this weekend and received wrong color, wrong style, wrong size, and WRONG BRAND. It was a completely different shoe than what was ordered, and to make matters worse, the shoe was USED. They were worn, dusty, and smelly. The bottoms were worn out and there were even HOLES IN THE SHOES. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY VIA AMAZON OR BY ANY OTHER MEANS!

Ordered a competition technical swimsuit. Price was good, item came quickly, was correct size.

To be quite honest, I was a bit nervous after reading multiple reviews of Outdoor Equipped after placing my order on Amazon. Luckily, my item arrived within a week's time, and I had very little to be disappointed about.
Aside from that, I will say that if you are unsure about sizing, color, or whatever the situation may be, you may want to look at turning your business elsewhere if you would like a more forgiving return policy. Many of the negative reviews you will see here are directed specifically at their Amazon return policy and not necessarily towards the initial transaction itself. However, if you are sure about the specifics of an item, they offer great prices and a pleasant buying experience.

Great website with a large variety of name brand shoes. Prices are very competitive and I like that they do free shipping and returns. I also like having a whole section for work and safety shoes because it can be hard to find functional and stylish shoes of this type.

I don't normally write bad reviews but my wife and I purchased running shoes from this store. We went through the process with the sales person to analyze our feet and running style. She recommended the shoes for us and we purchased them. They were well over $100. After 3 weeks we both had problems with our shoes causing pain in our legs and back. I contacted the returns department and was told the would not accept a return or exchange. They didn't even offer a discount on another pair of shoes. What kind of company recommends shoes to someone and then won't help them when they not only don't like them but the shoes cause them pain. Do not shop here!

Ordered Thorogood boots from them. They arrived in 7 days. I didn't think I would get them until this week, because of the Thanksgiving holiday, but they arrived the Friday after. They're the boots I ordered and they weren't damaged. So no complaints.

My husband goes through work boots like crazy. The specific brand he buys, Timblerland Pro, are always so expensive! We just happened to find them cheaper on their website and decided to give them a try. His boots arrived before they were scheduled too and he was so happy. We have no complaints with Outdoor Equipped.

The number listed on the website is disconnected i cannot get in touch with the company and my order is wrong.

I think the outdoor equipped website is well done. I particularly like the home page and thought the quality of the outdoor photos were excellent! I would make one suggestion and that would be to display the products on a whole page instead of just half a page. It seemed a bit unusual to see the left side empty. Other than that you have a great website!

I ordered two pairs of boots from this company on Amazon. Amazon's site said Prime and Free Returns. When I went to return them (brand new, never worn, just tried on)I saw they came from Outdoor Equipped and emailed them to make sure I did the return correctly. They informed me that I would be charged the shipping cost- no mention of any other fees. I sent them both back and once they issued the refund, it was $110 under what I had paid. They then informed me that they charge a 20% restocking fee, plus shipping costs. Over $50 for each pair of boots! Never ordering from this company again. Beware if you purchase online. This is a bad policy for footwear since you don't really know how it will fit until you can try it on. I see that there are a ton of bad reviews on here stating the same issue. Rather than responding with 'sorry you feel the need to write a negative review, our policy is stated on our website, etc, etc' maybe you should think about changing your ridiculous policy which is angering your potential customers. I didn't even know the order was going through you- Amazon did it automatically. So I had no way of knowing about your rip off policy. But rest assured, just like 50 or so other people on this page- you will never get my business again.

BEWARE, they will scam you of your money. I returned a pair of boots that did not fit, and they charged $30 for "restocking". I have never seen a business charge this much to restock an item. It is utterly ridiculous. I contacted their customer support, and they basically told me its my fault and they will not give me the full refund. Avoid this seller at all costs.

Refused return on a $200 pair of boots. Unfortunately took the tags off when trying them on and they didn't fit. "Business first, customers never" Was hoping for a little more customer service or partial refund since these are for an active duty assignment. At least they got paid right?

Placed an order for a Northface jacket as a Christmas present for my girlfriend. 7 days after I ordered I got a notification that my order had been canceled...13 days before Christmas. Had to buy another jacket, from a reputable company this time, and had to pay express shipping to make sure it was here on time. I will never but anything from this place ever again. Horrible!

I had a wonderful buying experience with Outdoor Equipped. I ordered a new pair of shoes. The price was amazing, the delivery was right on time and the shoes were exactly what I ordered. I would order with them again and recommend them highly.

When I got introduced to the website. I thought it was only for shopping. The website is well developed and the store was great, there are detailed description of the products and they are of high quality with cool price range.

Love this place and so happy to have something like this downtown! The have great yoga clothes, board shorts for guys and some really unique items I'd never seen before.

I ordered Lacrosse boots for my husband. Excellent service and the boots were delivered sooner than expected.

I purchased some boots from this retailer on Amazon. They did not look the same as in the photos and were very uncomfortable for my son so we returned them. We were refunded only about 55% of what we originally paid. The seller charged us for the shipping to send it back which was about $5, another $12 to cover their initial shipping (which came standard ground and in no way cost them that much), and a 20% restocking fee. So $10 to place an item back on a shelf. Shameful.

Steer clear. I made a purchase from this company through Amazon and had to return it (shoes were a little small). They would only refund 31 dollars of my 54 dollar purchase citing a "restocking fee." The shoes were brand new and in the pristine box they came in. Bad business.

We got the best discount. Out of all the venders, this company offered the same boot well below the going price. They came within a week with tracking. The company did a very good job.

Order arrived promptly BUT the sizing chart is way off -- shoes, which I ordered in the same size as have done in the past, were WWWAAAYYY too big. So not only was I nailed a 20% restocking fee but all the shipping costs -- a total of nearly 1/3 of my original purchase price. They need to let customers know that Haflingers run much bigger than normal sizing. So sad. Wish I had read all these reviews prior to ordering from them, their rating on Amazon was high but after posting this comment, I see they do not perform so well as a vendor. Plus, the customer service person I spoke with on the phone spoke such broken English I really could not understand much of what he said.

Searching the web for my timberland pro endurance, a work boot i have already purchased twice previously, was turning up little in the way of a good deal. I found them here for $30 dollars less than anywhere else, and was offered a promotional discount via text as well! All said and done i paidaboit 35% less than amazon. Im happy boots were delivered within the time frame promised(6 days). Also communications were helpful and prompt. I will check here first next time i need work boots. Thanks!

I ordered a pair of "New" Oakley goggles for $180 from this seller. It took over 2 weeks for me to receive the item I ordered. They shipped a $180 pair of goggles in a bag! The item did not appear to be in "New" condition like what was advertised on Amazon but that could be because they shipped it in a bag with no protection. I can't imagine the post office handles packages with care that are in a bag.

Needless to say I didn't want to keep the item since it wasn't what was advertised to me on Amazon so I returned the item. Once I sent the item back the seller charged me for the original shipping plus a 20% restocking fee. I called Amazon to complain but they told me I needed to work with the seller to dispute the charge. Once I contacted the seller they just pointed me to their return policy and told me that their policies are guided by Amazon so if they want to do business with Amazon they have to stick to the policy.

I told them that the item was not in "New" condition like advertised so they told me that they would have to contact their own warehouse specialist team to check on the item I returned to confirm the condition. I had to wait over 3 weeks to hear something back! I had to email them each week asking for an update. How does it take over 3 weeks to hear back from your own internal department?? In the end they told me that there was no issue with the item when they sent it to me therefore they would not refund the 20% restocking fee. Good to know that companies can just slap a shipping label on something and don't have to be responsible for protecting your purchase in the shipping process.

OutdoorEquipped is a horrible seller that ships fragile things in a bag using USPS and provides horrible customer service. Items are not like advertised and receiving anything from them takes forever. I would not recommending buying anything from them ever!

Found out they had my favorite hiking/work shoes in stock. Bought two pairs at a great price in my size. Shipping was fast and I was very pleased to see that both pairs were first quality examples. Would definitely do business with again!

Horrible experience with a horrible company. Customer service is more than a joke, shipping took over a week when they stated it was two day shipping. Then when I finally got the boot I ordered it was the wrong size. Now I imagine I have to go through another horrible experience with the returning of the boots just to try to get my money back and do my business elsewhere.

I purchased a pair of boots via Amazon. (Read their return policy on Amazon prior to ordering. If this isn't agreeable to you, order directly from Outdoor Equipped as they have a much more lenient policy with direct orders.) When they arrived, I had an issue with one of the boots. I took pictures, emailed both Outdoor Equipped and the manufacturer. Both asked me to kindly return the boots. The refund was issued the same day that they recieved the boots. I ordered another pair direct from Outdoor Equipped and couldn't be happier with the product and service recieved.

It appears that they are making quite a profit off of their return policy. They deem the product damaged by you and take whatever deduction they want from your return. They deducted $25 from my return for a pair of shoes that I tried on and put right back in the box for return. I see from their reviews that they have done this same thing to others. There seem to be some serious ethical issues with this company. I will not be buying from them again and caution anyone who is considering buying from them.

Worst customer service and return policy ever. Bought shoes for 90$. Seemed poorly put together and came in the wrong size. Returned immediately, they charged me for return shipping, their initial cost of shipping, a 20% restocking fee. All in all--cost me 30$ to return the shoes.
