Amazing stay, beds like clouds, staff lovely and friendly, Bath and shower is awesome

Bad experience, rude staff, staff with wrong information, fire alarm going off at 7am on our first night away from the baby,

The best feature is the spacious rooms with an excellent shower and beautiful bath. Staff were pleasant

Have been a few times always loved it until i stayed on Saturday the 15th I had a uncomfortable stay this time as the room I was in had a light that you could not knock on as there was a irritating buzzing noise coming from it and to make it worse when we got up to bed there was a draft in the window the spa was great only for the panic of fire alarms going of twice food and massage was great other than that

Improved greatly could be a little bit quicker with food when ordered or let person know it may take time otherwise good

Staff in the osprey Spa are amazing and very professionally. Would highly recommend.

It is hard not to compare the hotel to when it first opened around 10 years ago if memory serves. Back then the rooms were immaculate with fully stocked mini bars and even play stations in each room.When I was last here I could see that the rooms need a little bit of a revamp as the furniture is looking a little worn now. Despite my comments on the room, they were fully functional.

Perhaps they are making some improvements as the restaurant was off limits due to building work as well as some work outside the building.

The staff are as friendly and welcoming as ever and the Spa and leisure facilities are still fine.

Great stay, food was great service was fast, room was lovely. Manager Tom is also extremely helpful and a very pleasant person to deal with.

I was treated to a weekend break in the Osprey for my birthday from my partner. I hadn't been there before. It's modern and spotless clean. It's biggest attribute however is the staff. Polite and efficient. I have rarely experienced better staff, attentive and friendly. Security on the premises made it feel very safe. Well done Osprey, we will be back !!

Lovely hotel and spa. Food was out of this world in both the bar and restaurant! Although service was good the bar was understaffed so a little slow.. When booking I got the impression every room had free-standing bath tubs (according to pictures on their site) but our room only had a shower. Very comfortable bed though!

Looking forward to eating here again.

Had lunch here. Was fantastic, lovely food and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Service was a bit slow but overall was great.

Strange looking hotel wouldn't go there again only we were at an antique fair and we thoroughly enjoyed that, but they do a lovely coffee there, we didn't like the seating they were to low, our legs were close to our stomach and it was uncomfortable to eat

Nice hotel, room was lovely with a new modern bathroom. We had a balcony too which would have been lovely on a nicer day. The food in the restaurant was delicious and I would def recommend it if staying here. The heat of the room was stiffling and even when we turned off heating it was still very warm. Overall a nice plesant stay and very good value for money.

A REALLY great hotel. The fantastic end to our stay in Ireland.
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to look at the great wellness area because it closed way too early.

I wanted to treat my friend to Afternoon tea and while checking out menus for different places the Ospreys really stood out. I particularly loved the idea of iced rhubarb tea and a warm bakewell tart. So I chose this one over several others. We arrive and are shown in. After several minutes we are asked what we would like to drink. No menu like in other places to choose from and I guessed a cappuccino and my friend hazarded a green tea of which she was offered several choices. If there was a menu it would have been much simpler. They are brought out and a few mins later so is the tea tray. They did have two of the 5 items on the tea tray. Salmon was delicious but don't think it was Guinness bread. The chicken caesar wrap was there but not wow worthy. Others had been subbed with a chicken curry bread and some type of ham terreine. No pate at all. I was extremely disappointed to see that none of the delicious treats on the pdf menu were on the tray bar maybe a lemon drizzle cake that wasn't lemony so not even sure if it was the lemon. There was a two scones extremely small and overcooked. When cutting in they crumbled to nothing due to that and we both left them. If I can a picture I will include it.Instead of individual cakes like other places we were given what I believe to be cut up slices of other larger desserts like a choc brownie, a red velvet, maybe lemon drizzle cake and something else which we had no idea what it was but was actually the one really nice thing. On the pdf menu and on the website you are lulled into thinking that macaroons and a warm bakewell tart plus other delicious things are coming and nothing of the expected items or standards was delivered. Service was ok but slow and very i personable. Would not recommend for the price as not what was expected or delivered.

This could have so easily been a five star review but just a few things let it down. They all relate to food and drink.
The hotel itself is a reasonably modern design situated on the outskirts of town. Free parking is available including an underground parking area.
Reception staff were friendly and efficient.
Our room was on the second floor. The double bed was really large, it made our Queen size bed at home seems quite small in comparison. Tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, a safe, hairdryer and an iron were all available. En-suite bathroom was clean and adequately sized. However room was very warm and even the AC seemed to make little difference.
Food in the hotel was of a good standard but not cheap. Eating in the bar and the restaurant both required patience as service was slow. They seemed to have enough waiting staff so maybe the hold up was the kitchen.
Cocktails were available at the bar with an offer of 2 for 12. Complete waste of time, as from a selection of four cocktails that I made they had the ingredients for none.
So easily could have been a much better review.

Our stay with ye was excellent. All the staff are super friendly and the room was super spacious, considering there was 6 of us staying in the same room. Our stay was made extremely pleasant by the fab bar man paddy, he is a pure gent, you could tell he knew his job inside out.

We stayed here to celebrate our 20 years together, and it was worth every cent. Our experience from check in was perfect. We were upgraded to the penthouse, which was a brilliant surprise. We had lunch in the hotel, which was lovely. Everything about our night away, including our trip to the spa, was perfect.

Beautiful hotel, lovely room. Bed on a scale of 10, I would rate it 7. Fabulous shower and free standing bath. Loose seat on toilet. Evening meal outstanding. Breakfast disappointing. Lovely staff. We would definitely go back.

Leisure pool was excellent def wud go back for the pool hydro pool n steam room

Lovely rooms, handle on honeymoon suite was broken. Make sure everyone who is staying has a room to their name or is on the list as it was difficult trying to sort out when we came back from a night out.

Nice hotel. Good food. Only issue I had was my room was next to the lift so I kept waking up. Other than that, All Good!

Booked night at hotel plus dinner package (3 course meal) for two in restaurant. No pre warning/ mention at all that restaurant would be booked out and so to book in advance. As a result had to go to bar, who had no record that we had prearranged a time to eat with them. Seated at first in a dark area in a corner, then moved just by door. Was not a pleasant dining experience and was so disappointing to be told we couldn t have restaurant. They also charged us for bar food when checking out, and had to rectify this with receptionist. As this was a present, unhappy with experience.

The hotel staff was all lovley but the rooms were very dirty! The dust was thick on the counters, under the bed was absolutely disgusting and there was make up brushes on a shelf in the bathroom which didn t belong to me or anyone in the room god knows how long they were there! My aunts room was down an awful lot of stairs in her hotel room which was quite weird but there was cobwebs all around her bathroom sink so when was the last time that was cleaned either! Housekeeping really don t do their job properly for the money we paid for the room it really was not worth it

Room was lovely food is over rated and service at dinner was very slow .

It is a lovely hotel just outside the town. It is near bus stops. Has lovely food and friendly staff

Watch out for room service taking your receipt to "get your change" and not returning the receipt or the change

The bar staff are really nice and friendly food was good, rooms are huge and clean did not like the bathrooms decorations, the spa is fully booked most of the time, would come bak for it yeah

Bathroom to die for, fabulous large bed very big room, friendly staff, breakfast ok, sadly cleanliness of room was dissappointing and the high room rate/cost did not match the service provided.

I did not stay at the hotel but myself and my husband had a massage there on fri Nov 1st and it was the worst I ve ever had. We arrived at 12pm for our appointment at 12 and it was 12.10 when we completed paperwork. The massage lasted 15 mins it was meant to be half an hour. We probably should have come 15 mins earlier. However there was no one waiting and 2 girls sat at a till neither asked what our experience had been like. Very unprofessional and the massage itself was very basic. Wont be back.

Room was way too hot even with the balcony door & two windows open. Bar menu is very limited and went for a massage but the room it was in was beside the swimming pool so could hear children screaming and shouting throughout it so wasn't very relaxing, wouldn't stay again.
Just to add I had called reception about the room and no one showed up for hours and when they did show up she didn't understand what we were talking about and Had also asked room service for an ice bucket which took an hour and had to call again to get them to bring it up.

Beautiful and clean, nice location. Pool for the kids. Breakfast was great.

Great hotel for Naas. A party of 29stayed here and were looked after really well. Nice rooms and very good showers. Pool and spa were very nice.

Fantastic family hotel. Very good to the children with colouring packs and snack packs in the room.

A busy business hotel with a conference centre. Modern building with friendly staff .Food was fine. I did not stay here but it is central to most Kildare attractions.

We stayed in the Osprey to celebrate a 70th birthday within the family & we had a fantastic time. The staff were efficient & friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean & bright. Would highly recommend.

Very helpful friendly staff. Have stayed there a good few times and will again and again. The whole family really like it. Great facilities. Great food.

I purchased a luxury spa experience including a Mud Radio Treatment ,a glass of prosecco and thermal suite an& leisure club access.
for 2 people ( my 2 daughters special birthdays) . They set off for a one hour drive with the intention of staying overnight. They were so very disappointed at the lack of customer service,one bowl of mud to share between both girls. No prosecco, some of the equipment was inoperable. Overall the visit was so disappointing they both decided not to check in for an overnight stay.This was a planned treat for my daughters it was a complete let down.

Loved every minute of our stay. Our room, the leisure facilities, staff and breakfast were top class. Will definitely be back.

Friendly helpful staff.very clean hotel and rooms.only downfall is the restaurant. Really slow service.1st night I had bar food.beautiful food served really fast with great friendly staff.2nd night,finishing a conference. About 30 of us had booked tables for 7.30.it took about an hour to get our starters.then an extra 2+ hours for the 1st mains to come out.some people were waiting more than 2 and a half hours between starter and main.some orders were also wrong.panic set in with senior staff and management which was very noticeable as we were the only people in the restaurant. Pointing,talking.it was actually the junior waiting staff who held it together and talked to us rather than the management who were noticeably panicked and pointing.whispering.looking down tho doing nothing.making us all feel uncomfortable.most people had finished there mains as others were still waiting to get theirs.from first ordering our starters to getting our deserts was almost 4 hours.
Food was very nice but time was abysmal.
4 out of 5 for hotel.1 out of 5 for restaurant simply because the food was nice when we finally did get it.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Food was gorgeous and service excellent.

From start to finish my experience in your hotel was horrendous-

Checking in- I had paid online for the reservation and your receptionist claimed i didnt and charged me twice for the booking!! When i paid she said "oh i was expecting a fight there" I felt the way she spoke to myself and my boyfriend was extremely rude and condescending- telling us that if we go to the bar we cant just order peanuts- I felt she was making a judgement on us and to be honest the whole situation was very uncomfortable

The Room- When we entered the room the smell was so bad we had to open the doors and walk away.

The walls had stains on them and over all cleanliness was questionable.

The air con wasnt working so as you can imagine it was extremely hard to sleep with the heat

Lunch- We understand the new guidelines set out by covid 19 in restaurants ect and the pressure on staff however,

We were brought to a dirty table with and the food was substandard for a premium price charged- also we were left waiting 45mins for a chessecake thar never arrived!!

Breakfast- When greeted at the breakfast room we were questioned where we even staying here!! As the receptionist from check in had not even added us to the list

We were seated eventually and where brought out what looked with a fabulous continental breakfast- I opened the strawberry jam and it had been opened and used!!! I tried to get a waiters attention and was ignored completely for 15mins- I decided to get up and walk over- this is when one of your waitress's started shouting at me "GET BACK, GET BACK" i was absolutely mortified to say the least- when i turned around everyone in the breakfast was looking at me

Over all as you can imagine we left absolutely horrified at the experience and completely let down- as it was our wedding anniversary we were very much looking to a night away together again a substandard experience for a premium price
