Osprey Hotel & Spa Review

Good facilities and plenty of space. Clean bar area, no complaints!

Booked twin room. When we arrived we were given a double room - No issue with getting this changed unfortunately the new room was freezing at night but had an oil heater in the wardrobe which we used. We did not raise this with reception until we were leaving so possibly could have moved again.

Would recommend the spa - both myself & mam had great treatments from lorraine & sarah.
We went to the pool following this. For some reason the access direct from the spa is locked and on leaving despite stating our intentions to go to the pool we were not advised that we would need to not only walk through the full hotel, across the underground car park but also outside the main building and back through the front door of the leisure centre which would have been grand had we not been still in our spa robes. Can not understand why this connection is locked.

Despite above the hotel itself is very comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly.

Checked out at 9pm on a Saturday night to search for other accommodation due to disco bingo noise.
Fire alarm went off at 2:30am on another night
Breakfast was good.
Location was great

What a fantastic hotel to stay at,warm welcome, excellent staff and food. Cosy, clean rooms. Will always stay here when I visit Dublin.

It was a lovely Hotel but was much too warm. Had to sleep with the doors wide open in winter with a gale blowing. Also the walls are very thin so the experience was very noisy. There was a bad smell in basement that was evident at times in foyer. Breakfast was excellent though.

Pretty happy with our stay. The breakfast was a bit greasy but other than that we loved it. The beds are really comfy and lots of pressure from the shower. Some of the public areas could do with a revamp.

Amazing food in the osprey restaurant beautiful scallops for starters and pan seared cod for main lovely menu great service great wine selection the whole evening was so relaxed and enjoyable will definitely be back

Dinner was very poor very small portions and not of good quality staff were very ignorant and dear bottle of bulmers 7.50

There is a gym and swimming pool in the hotel what helped me in my desicion to choose this hotel. I also like the possibility to choose for the dinner as there is restaurant and bar (which serve food as well) on site.

My family stayed here and we liked it.staff were really helpful and friendly towards us. My son wants to come back again for another visit.drinks and food were quite nice. It's situated in a nice part of town. It's close by to my family in Newbridge.yes it is pricey for the rooms and bathrooms are amazing and my son daughter and myself shared a very large bedroom,two double beds, but we would still stay here again as we had fun and worth every penny of it.

I have stayed in the Osprey a number of times.The leisure centre is fab.The receptionist Anne is truely brilliant.I have been a member of the gym for the past 10 years and I have to say that no problem is too big for Anne.She is polite and so helpful.I give her 5 stars.

We had a very enjoyable trip to the Osprey hotel. The Managers and staff could not have been more friendly. Rooms very comfortable. Hotel was very busy but staff went out of their way to help us thank you to Kate in the bar for all her help. Good food good company what else could you ask for thank you to everyone there continued success we will be back. Regards Bridget Carey

Great accommodation friendly staff wonderful atmosphere

Lovely hotel complex. Plenty of parking, lovely open spaces and cosy corners, something to suit everyone.

Nice Hotel but poor for looking after a taxi for you took 1 and 1/2 hours to get us one

We got married here last year and returned for our 1 year anniversary.We got the penthouse and all i can say is amazing and even better when we got presecco and strawberries in our room,such a nice surprise.The hotel is just fab and staff are really welcoming.100% recommend

A really nice hotel with a few small let downs. I really like this hotel and have stayed here on numerous occasions. They cater very well for families and singles alike. The staff are very nice and nothing seems to be too much trouble. If you are traveling with small kids or just don't like noise I recommend you ask to be given a room at the front of the hotel as the rear backs onto a court yard and smoking area for the function room which can get really noisy if there is a wedding or event on.
The rooms are large and all have a shower and stand alone bath. The rooms are also kept very clean. The only gripes I have about this hotel are about food. Last year we stayed here for new year and had the special 7 course taster menu which I thought was a disappointment for the price and for a hotel with such a good name. This year we opted to go for bar food which although it was delicious the portions of some of the dishes were really small. Overall I'd recommend this hotel as the food issues weren't that big a deal

Asked to move rooms but was told fully booked.

My favourite hotel in Nass to stay in. The staff are superb & very attentive. They couldn't do enough for us when my beautiful wife & I stayed there on our anniversary. Lovely little trinkets left in our room upon arrival, left a big impression on us both.

Shocking hotel. Stayed here on a business trip and we had to leave as we got no breakfast that we had paided for. Got a brown bag with fruit in it. Rooms aren t something to boost about either.

I was so disappointed with lunch today .I had roast lamb lunch and meat was so tuff I could not eat it very disappointed .I wont be back for awile

Staff were lovely.But the change in the restaurant would not be to my liking ..Dinner was nice .Bar for Friday evening was empty .

Always found this place a disappoint, staff literally just left us standing around last two times we went to try grab a meal with the kids. Typically carvery is only option. Is a nice hotel but would love if the had better food options.

Love this hotel.... we have stayed a few times now and we love the new spa.... i would highly recommend this hotel .... i have just booked to stay again in feb x

Nice hotel, plenty of parking space. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Dislikes: iron hard wired to wall outlet so couldn't move it, TV ok but a little small by modern hotel standards. Nicely cooked breakfast and good buffet choice.

I have enjoyed lunch here on occasion in the bar. I generally don't like carverys' but the food here is great. The ambiance is relaxing and the staff are warm and welcoming. You also receive a free tea/coffee with your meal.

The room was beautiful . Very spacious. The shower felt like you were in a tropical rain forest and a big deep bath. The food was amazing. Breakfast and dinner. The spa was stunning. All staff were outstanding. 5 star experience overall

Beautiful hotel and the family room was amazing, spacious, clean, air conditioned and had an amazing bath with shower. I would love to go back for a weekend and make more use of the hotels spa facilities and swimming pool.

Honestly I don t know where to start other than outstanding professionalism, wonderful hospitality,beautiful facilities and fantastic staff! My friend and I accidentally stumbled upon this spa when we arrived at the wrong place, and we were beyond thankful that we did!We were travelling up from Dublin specially to come for a spa day, and After an awful experience(for a different review) in the place we had supposed to be in so we returned here in hope of having some sort of nice experience,the receptionist was so warm and welcoming and she sat us down and listened to us and sympathised, afterwards she kindly looked and gave us an appointment for a treatment that evening, we were delighted as we had come all this way! She settled us in and showed us around the facilities which were beautiful, spotless clean and tranquil! We had some time to spend in the thermal suits before our treatments which we rly enjoyed, again spotless clean, Modern and rly calming! Our masseuse came to get us, and with them was them manger who couldn t apologise enough for our bad experience at the other spa,this was not the mangers problem at all but she wAnted us to receive a great experience and offered us a complimentary treatment !!!!!We were both on the verge of tears, such kindness and professionalism!! Even with out this amazing gesture our experience here was exceptional as was, and it was just the icing on the cake! Our masseuses were so friendly and extremely skilled and rly rly looked after us, from start to finish there wasn t a thing they couldn t do for us! Can not commend this spa enough for there professional and welcoming environment! Management and staff should rly be proud! I wouldn t hesitate to book in here and I rly can t wait for my neat visit! Thank you to the whole team at the osprey spa you turned an awful day into an incredible experience!

Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff. Top class food and the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. The rituals products in bathroom were a lovely touch.

Can't fault treatments but the trip from changing room to treatment was less than desirable

Nice smart function room! Staff super and efficient

I was in the osprey hotel a couple of weeks ago, have just found a couple of bar receipts in my handbag. Funny thing is both receipts were for the same round of drinks, yet the first is for 14.15eu and the second is for 14.50 eu. How can this be? Also I had a half portion of carvery di.ner which cost 9.75 and there is a 50 cent charge for 1 extra whatever that means. I find this difference in cost quite disturbing, if you charge everyone like this you must be making a whacking profit on customers

Beautiful hotel, pint of Guinness wasn't great (according to hubby), everything else was first class!

Had dinner and it was fabulous good and wine. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The only thing I can complain about was that it was a little cold in the restaurant

Modern hotel complex boasting of several bars function suites dining areas and leisure and spa facilities all under one roof. Great amenities but found staff disorganised and service dreadfully slow in the food and bar areas.

We had a family wedding at the Osprey and every event and detail was perfect what a great team.

We had a nice stay but it needs a bit of an uplift, new carpets in bar area and stairs and breakfast area is quite small. All staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful
