Hotel, rooms, leasure pool all top class. Breakfast excellent. We ate in main restaurant one night and we're annoyed to discover that we could have saved 10 with a voucher that was emailed after we checked in. Whilst the food was very good I thought it was overpriced. .. 60 for couple with no drinks. We had free access to the Thermal Suite but we're not impressed as this only had a steam room (there is also a steam room in the leisure suite) some heated loungers and a salt grotto that actually wasn't working... no salt fragrance and spray apparatus that was below minimum levels... clogged up etc. Over all highly recommended but I wouldn't bother with thermal area (unless paying for the treatments in offer) and spend time instead in the excellent on site Leisure centre. Staff at all times wonderful.

Had a package deal of some treatments & afternoon tea. The treatments were lovely and therapists were friendly & professional. However the whole experience was let down by the customer service during the afternoon tea. It appeared no one knew how to make a latte as we had to wait 25 minutes for that & it arrived burned and we then had to wait over 40 minutes for our food. With barely a word of apology and offered a free coffee to make up for it we were bitterly disappointed with final portion of the package. The F&B manager on duty did not seem on top of his service or able to manage his team. He missed the point of our complaint which served to frustrate further.

Jaded, old and in need of a refurb. Could be a lot cleaner. Funky circular showers with either flimsy curtains, or else glass doors that prevent you from getting to the controls once in the shower! This is a big problem since temperatures fluctuate wildly while showering. Carpet in room threadbare. The kicker is the access to the fitness center - down into basement, through an underground car park, up another flight of stairs, out a door, around the building, in through another door, up a flight of stairs and voila! You re there! What could be simpler? So simple they even provide an instruction card (see photo)!!

Incredibly friendly staff , fabulous food , amazing bathroom but the whole experience for me fell slightly on 3 relatively minor things. Firstly, the bed in the room looked enormous but I was disappointed to discover that it was only a double and single pushed together . Secondly, the in room facilities left a lot to be desired compared to other hotels in which I have stayed. Lastly, the balcony could have been a lot cleaner . Cobwebs around the balcony lights were unsightly and a little off putting.

Stayed for two nights with my wife and 18 month old daughter, first night we decided to get dinner at the hotel, despite being the only people in the restaurant we were waiting for almost an hour for our food, that night while going to bed we noticed that the cot we got for the baby didn't have a mattress. Not only that but they couldn't find one so we had to make do with a large thick blanket they provided. During the night any time the adjacent room used it's bathroom either for shower, toilet or otherwise the was a loud clicking sound that must have been the water tank refilling that lasted around 10 minutes every time! The next day after we had been out we returned home at around 4pm to find that the room had not been cleaned, we had to phone down to reception to ask for someone to tidy the room and replace the towels. Any one of these problems would be bad enough for a four star hotel but to have them all meant the stay was a bit of a disaster. They did apologize for inconvenience but that was all we received.

Interesting Hotel. Unusual labyrinth of corridors. Uniquely designed rooms. Spacious, unusual shapes, curved walls, arched ceilings, alcoves, freestanding bath tubs, spa like shower cubicles. Multi-tiered bar/lounge. A unique hotel in a strange location..... Would expect it to be in a rural setting or large city but that doesn't take away from the hotel itself. Would recommend it, if it suits your budget.

Myself and my husband had our wedding here. It was organised in 12 very short weeks as our other venue cancelled last minute. Both wedding coordinators were absolutely fantastic and done everything we asked for and more. Couldn't recommend these enough for events. It was a magical day made better by the staff.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean & big. The food was lovely and the swimming pool was nice except the water was a bit cold. The staff were amazing especially Adam, Rachel, Alina,(Evening staff from the restaurant) Catherine and Emma (morning staff for breakfast). We would definitely come back.

Had afternoon tea, which was booked well in advance,
was so disappointed, the menu on line sounded delicious, we got no little desserts as advertised just dry stodgy cakes, and 1 little meringue which was the only thing with a bit of colour and cream,
When I pointed this out to the staff they added a dry hard lemon drizzle cake, a cheese cake, and chocolate mousse!! Still wasn't great to be honest,
Would not recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Highlight of my day. The best massage ever from the lovely little girl Lauren.
Best massage I've ever had. When I come back, I want her for my message. Fantastic job. How is someone so tiny so strong?. Lol

It's a "luvley and gawrgeous" place. Really its good. It also has the best croissants I have ever tried even against award winning French boulangeries. I think it's the combination of French technique and Irish butter.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and decent facilities. My only issue was that it needs a little love in places. It's kind of like someone designed a nice hotel, but gave up making it when it was nearly finished. The rooms were very comfortable though, and there was a good selection at breakfast.
