Dear Lorraine,



From start to finish my experience in your hotel was horrendous-

Checking in- I had paid online for the reservation and your receptionist claimed i didnt and charged me twice for the booking!! When i paid she said "oh i was expecting a fight there" I felt the way she spoke to myself and my boyfriend was extremely rude and condescending- telling us that if we go to the bar we cant just order peanuts- I felt she was making a judgement on us and to be honest the whole situation was very uncomfortable

The Room- When we entered the room the smell was so bad we had to open the doors and walk away.

The walls had stains on them and over all cleanliness was questionable.

The air con wasnt working so as you can imagine it was extremely hard to sleep with the heat

Lunch- We understand the new guidelines set out by covid 19 in restaurants ect and the pressure on staff however,

We were brought to a dirty table with and the food was substandard for a premium price charged- also we were left waiting 45mins for a chessecake thar never arrived!!

Breakfast- When greeted at the breakfast room we were questioned where we even staying here!! As the receptionist from check in had not even added us to the list

We were seated eventually and where brought out what looked with a fabulous continental breakfast- I opened the strawberry jam and it had been opened and used!!! I tried to get a waiters attention and was ignored completely for 15mins- I decided to get up and walk over- this is when one of your waitress's started shouting at me "GET BACK, GET BACK" i was absolutely mortified to say the least- when i turned around everyone in the breakfast was looking at me

Over all as you can imagine we left absolutely horrified at the experience and completely let down- as it was our wedding anniversary we were very much looking to a night away together again a substandard experience for a premium price
