Do not buy from these guys!! We were lied to on a few things to get us to buy. Since then the staff have been rude. The rooms are old and dirty. One of the many lies the sales rep told us was that we could come use the pool at any of their properties even if we weren t staying there. very embarrassing when we tried to go to orange lake recently and told that wasn t true and was turned away. They call you owners which is a joke. Now we are stuck with this property that is worth absolute zero for resale.

This property is the best! We had a 2 bedroom villa for 5 days. It was so beautiful! We even got to see a baby alligator!! There are pools everywhere! The lazy river was awesome!! The restaurants were great!! Can't wait to go back!!

We have visited Orange Lake before and we always enjoy our time here. The pools and restaurants are all great, and resort is cashless, so once you check in you don't need to use cash or credit to eat or drink. The location is pretty convenient and overall we are glad we stayed here.

Only thing keeping me from rating higher is the more than obnoxious salesmen that work for the resort, calling your room at 10pm! Not cool. Tip: unplug your phone. Other than that, nice amenities and good location.

We stayed there last year and had a great time :) We stayed in the 2-bedroom villas which are like a small house; with washer, dryer and a small kitchen. The kids loved the pools and the outside area of our vacay-house.. . we had the lake in the back which was great for watching nature.
Can't wait to come back soon!!!!

Here's what you need to know. Very nice resort. We've stayed all over Orlando and this is the best place we've stayed. Facilities are very clean and updated. Very classy. It's a huge resort. I mean huge. Hundreds if not thousands of rooms. We didn't have any problem and didn't need to contact anyone for help or anything but I get the feeling that would have been very hard. They give you a number to text if you need anything. I texted it a couple times about small things and they didn't get back to me until the next day. Lazy river is very nice. Know this though...3 day and 7 day passes for lazy river are really 4 and 8 as the first day you go doesn't count against your 3 or 7 days..this is very nice. Also, days do not have to be in a row. You can go any days without them being in succession. Mini golfs are nice, water slide is fun, I don't think anyone really does the climbing wall, we never saw anyone on it. The Sales tour is pretty vicious. It's easy 3 hours but they give you 3 day passes to lazy river and mini golf and slide for $15 plus $70 club credit that you can use at resort restaurants. Twice the guys at the rewards counter told me: "I'm not suppose to show you this but..." and he'd show me something about a money savings deal or something. I wonder how many dozen times a day he says that to people...what a load of garbage. Oh, and their are alligators in the lake they want you to go paddle boating, kayaking and jet skiing on. No thanks. Overall great resort and we had a great time.

My vacation at Orange Lake Resort was Monday, March 25- Friday, March 30. We drove 14 hours, so that we would have our car, and elected to do early check in so that if a room because available before 4 our son could get an actual nap. We did not get a call until just before 4 but that wasn t a problem. However once we arrived at our room just after 4pm we were interrupted 3 times by a matinence man who had things to still complete. Tuesday morning @7:45 my husband and I arrived for our required tour of the resort. The tour was to take 2 hours long once greeted by our guide. We had Tommy, who we later learned his name is actually Charles but goes by Tommy. He was extremely polite for the first 1 1/2 hours of our tour but the moment he was certain we would not be saying yes to anything that morning he became extremely cold. Words my husband and I used to describe our experience after we had left was bullied and belittled. Tommy brought a higher up of his to our table at the 2 hour mark and proceeded to insult us saying things such as when he was a kid he wouldn t know how to make a decision either (my husband and I are 25, so not children). The higher up quickly left knowing we were not interested in buying. Tommy then said he was sending us over to the section where we would be checked out, recieve our incentive, and be allowed to leave. This was when we were put through another TWO sales representatives!! When is no not enough?! 2 1/2 hours and four sales representatives later they finally let us go with our tickets! Fine so that part was over. Wednesday comes along and my mother who was with us offered to keep our 18 month old with her at the resort so my husband and I could go to Epcot for the day. Around 7:30pm she went to give our son a bath in the tub and found no hot water! She called the front desk to explain and was told a matinence person would be up within the hour. 8:45 hits and my mom calls to officially cancel the repair order as she had to bathe our son in the sink in order to get him to bed on time. We had arrived back to the room just after 10pm and within minutes the doorbell rings and it s the matinence man at 10pm!!! Are you kidding me?! Then Thursday we call regarding late check out and had no problems altering our check out from 10am to 11am (every little bit helps). We were greeted by house keeping at 9am. To me this makes no sense as the original check out time for the entire resort is 10am so 1) Why are they checking rooms prior to the initial check out time? and 2) Why was there no communication to house keeping that we elected for late check out?
This resort is beautiful and very well maintained but it s clear they have some kinks to work on still.

Nice location everything is on site that you could need, feels safe but needs an update desperately. If you're planning on having someone stay on the pull out couch, don't. Four inch piece of fabric with springs inside that could pierce rhino skin. Decor was dusty. Also there are no sidewalks anywhere in this place which is strange since so many people walk here.

This was our very first family vacation, we stayed 4 nights at Orange Lake and it was fabulous. Our villa was beautiful, clean and spacious. All the amenities that we needed. Lots to do onsite, pools, shops, a market, even Starbucks. I have read complaints about how pushy the sales are here but I was only asked once at check in and after politely declining I was not approached again. We would definitely stay here again.

My family has been an owner since 1989 at this location. It is a great place to get away for an easy week of doing nothing. Over the years I can say that maintenance is responsive, accommodations are decent. Bedding could be more comfortable. I think there's room for simple added amenities that would take it to the next level. I'm glad to see the years of expansion done in a decent way. If you have the chance to be a villa owner, take it. We had the misfortune of showing up a week early one year and staying in a tower. Did not enjoy it. Not for me. It's great being able to customize a vacation based on budget and guest.

Resort amenities are absolutely wonderful. A great place to stay with a wonderful staff. I can't say the same for the sales pitch. They are very friendly until you say you are not interested. After that their attitudes completely change as if you've wasted their time. Meanwhile they say it only takes 90 minutes which actually turns into 3 and a half hours or more which has really taken up a great part of your vacation day. Otherwise a great place to stay with lots of things to do. Fun and relaxing just avoid the sales trip.

Cockroach hotel . Sitting in the lobby hotel switched us room . Lugged all our stuff to new room and low and behold next room same thing. The resort told us do to it being a timeshare we must deal with owner who sadly has returned our call. Never again will I stay at a resort thats timeshare as now we lost another day sitting in limbo looking to get reimbursed for our last 4 days so we can get off the ride and find new hotel. Now sitting for half day waiting for owner to call. Hotel won't do much other then offer us a 3rd room. Pack unpack pack unpack. You get the idea. Never again stay at anyplace where problem can't be resolved by the hotel directly.

My children and I are loving our stay. The Villa is great and we'll maintained. The staff have been nice and very helpful. Wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed everything offered

We stayed for about a week on one of the 2 bedroom properties. The stay was pleasant with decent amount of privacy from adjacent properties. Water park amenities were over priced. Overall not bad at all.

Rated a 3 due to lack of communication Holiday Inn can fix. When booking a room you MUST ask where it will be. They have alot of land and you need to drive to get to other areas of the property, lazy river, restaurants... We went for the lazy river specifically, asked to be closest to that at check in not realizing at booking and had to drive over a mile, not offered other options. A map on their website would help with picking rooms or condos.

The hotel was very busy. Our cabana server was excellent, she kept up with our orders very well. The queen bed was comfortable but wished I would have brought my own pillow. Spacious rooms with full kitchenette but a mini fridge. The property itself is very very huge with everything you would need on it without ever leaving.

Great location and a friendly staff who go the extra mile. Clean and welcoming. Golf course are in great shape, offer challenges to most levels, sorry pro's. Very kid friendly. I highly recommand it.

My family was VERY happy with this hotel. We went to Disney with my in-laws, so we needed extra space along with a great pool for the kids, and we were not disappointed. We couldn't believe how big the rooms were. Plus, the people were friendly, the pool was great, and as a bonus the staff was very helpful and professional when I accidentally left valuables in my room upon leaving - they found them and mailed them promptly. I will definitely be back.

What a brilliant stay i had here, nice rooms, friendly staff, very welcoming. Their is alot to do for all ages. It is a bit misleading when they say that the bus shuttles runs every 15 minutes, when it take about 30 minutes, but the bus drivers are always friendly and willing to take you to wherever you need to be, although they do seem to take you all over the place. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Convenient Location, only 7 minutes from Disney World. Rooms are spacious and cozy. Our unit did not have hot water the first morning and we called to report it and it was taken care of. The roims are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Check in process was very smooth and easy. They will try to talk you into attending a presentation but are not pushy about it. Overall will recommend.

The resort is absolutely huge, to the point that it's bigger than some university campuses. The rooms were clean and beautiful. I loved the kitchenette and I was surprised to see it stocked up with all necessary cooking utensils.

This has been our first time at the resort, we booked last minute due to Covid 19 as it had just opened back up and we had friends flying in from Boston who booked a room
there.
It was great when we first arrived, we got a free upgrade to an apartment as a thank you for booking during this time. The location is pretty awesome and the amenities are great. We really liked the apartment, the resort wasn t busy as it had just opened back up. The first two nights we had nothing to complain about but the last night was horrible. They had put some young kids right next to us and at 2:30am we had to call security to shut down a party. Alcohol and pot was consumed, no respect for others staying there.
The next morning before the check out time we had two employees show up to repair a light and to clean the apartment as they thought our apartment was empty. The cleaning lady at 9:30am asked us to be out by 10am, absolutely rude!
I called the front desk to let them know we need additional time as we didn t sleep at all last night due to the reckless party next door and my husband had to drop our friends at the airport. The people staying at that resort are not people we want to be surrounded by and the employees were absolutely rude as soon as it was time to leave.

They are thieves!! They stole my bikini and cover up right off of the bed...I called front desk and they said they would look into it and call me back, they never did! I've been calling ever since and NO ONE can help me, they won't even take my calls or call me back...they have some kind of scheme going on here...why wouldn't anyone call me back?

Absolutely loved the place. I am a keen golfer and it suited a family holiday....get out in the morning play early and back in time for a day with the kids. Courses were ok, not great. Greens need some work. If you get a 3 day pass it's a good deal though. Swimming pools were excellent, food was ok again, fast food type restaurants, but there are nicer places near by. The villa was ideal, spacious enough for our family of 4 and the streets are maintained to an excellent standard. Will definitely be back.

I would not recommend getting a timeshare with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Honestly every single time there is an issue with customer service or they do not have availability. Every year there seems to be hidden charges or extra fees that we were never made aware of. They promise you can transfer points but there is a fee for that too. My family was with RCI before since the early 90s. We switched to Holiday Inn in 2011 and have been disappointed ever since.

We come here as part of a timeshare each year. It's a very nice resort with lots of pools, mini golfing, a giant blow up water slide, and restaurants. The River Island pool complex has a very nice lazy river. The mini golfing is ok, but nothing like Pirate's Cove or other specialized mini golf courses. Restaurants can be a bit slow in service and are pricey, but about what you'd expect from a resort!

SCAM alert! Avoid at all cost. We frequently exchange through RCI. This hotel forced us into a sales presentation refusing to give our parking passes without agreeing and then if you try to cancel the presentation they charge $30. Extremely high pressure sales. They call daily. If you want to use their fun water slides and lazy river have to pay extra. Won t stay here ever again. Worst timeshare ever experience. Also no housekeeping all week because it s a timeshare but we stay at other timeshare and get at least one day where trash and towels changed. Aweful experiance, first and last stay.

I was in a 6 story unit. When I pulled up, I though it was going to be like any other condo style resort. small, and cramped.

But I was surprised! These units are huge!! and so well cleaned my Wife is such a clean freak, that she never goes shoeless in hotels or resorts, but this was an exception.

I recommend anyone would be more than happy staying at this resort, my only regret is that I did not get to try any of the amenities provided on this property.
