Unlike the Frecciarossa, I find Italo more comfortable. The Smart Cinema carriage is a valid alternative to the first, soft lighting and more silence than the other coaches. Very useful the Bus service that connects the AV stops with the cities that do not have the High Speed station.

Very negative travel experiences. Too bad because I have often traveled with them in recent years. What I always appreciated was transparency and customer focus. But now they have started acting worse than their competitors. I traveled on a train that took exactly one hour late, one minute or one minute less. I asked the hostess if I was eligible for a refund and she said yes. I called Italo (via a paid number that the hostess advised me to call) and they told me that it did not appear that the train had made an hour late .. But 56 minutes, so there was no right to reimbursement. At that point I told him that both my watch and that of the other passengers that that of the conductor indicated that it was just an hour late, and I was told that if I wanted I could make a complaint. I think that what has been said is sufficient. Sin. They lost an excellent customer.

New and clean train we have traveled in 1st class and I must say that the service on board was perfect ... I don't put the 5th one just because the site should be improved by inserting as trains Italy news on train movement and if there are delays on the line .... However the train is nice, clean and comfortable and then if you take the ticket with one of several coast offers less of rossa arrow

I had a problem with the profile, they didn't credit my points for a problem from the beginning of the registration.
After two phone calls (for a fee) and various sacraments they tell me to fill out the complaint form, but my case history does not exist and it is not possible.

Travel with Italo for many years and I have always found benissimo..il price / quality ratio is beyond all expectations. Punctuality. Efficiency. Cleaning. Very convenient periodic offers. Certainly better than Trenitalia that makes you want to travel (For a ticket ONLY ONE WAY Rome-Milan, 100 is NOT enough .... REALLY ABSURD). Absolutely recommended Italo!

Morale 40 minuti di ritardo!!!!
Andiamo bene!! Tutto regolare chissenefrega se ti alzi mezz ora prima per niente!
A chi interessa!
Con quello che pago magari gradirei avere il treno in orario giusto??
Al ritorno ho chiesto se la mascherina andava indossata per tutto il viaggio e mi sono sentito rispondere che se non mi piace il regolamento potevo anche scendere

Personale arrogante e poco professionale!!
Ma tanto a chi interessa queste cose!!

For the first time I tried Italo, traveling in a very common second class and I must say that even if I have long legs I have traveled comfortably, the climate is pleasantly regulated, the staff on board and kind and the train is ultra clean !! I highly recommend it

Very misleading schedule times. Be sure to look at your TRAIN NUMBER not your destination. We had booked tickets for Napoli centrale from Roma Termini. The destination of our train apparently was Salerno & we should have known that. Absolutely no help from staff about direction or what to do, all they kept saying is that we must pay again. We paid 40 each for round trips originally, and forced to pay 40 each for a ONE WAY if we still wanted to make our trip to Napoli. Be warned if you book your tickets in advance you cannot change your ticket times, and again... pay attention to your train number and not your destination - ITALO TRAINS BIG MISTAKE AND ONLY IN BUSINESS FOR MONEY NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS

Delay is now an integral part of the ticket! I have been going to Milan for months and systematically on the outward, return or in both cases there are at least 30 to 180 minutes late! Now the delay is certainly justified for the problems due to the derailment of the Salerno-Milan frecciarossa), but before it was a continuation of the usual and old excuses of the "railway traffic", of the phantom "maintenance and various problems on the line"! Among other things, vending machines not working and sandwiches (among other things bad) not available! Scandalous and shameful!

Now (30 June 2020), there is yet another worsening of the service! It is no longer possible to buy ANYTHING except from the distributor! No food, no drinks, NOTHING NOTHING !!! Bad! We will NEVER travel there again !!

I bought a first class ticket at the same cost as the Trenitalia economy plan for Milan. The train was punctual both at the start and at the return, the hostess on board were kind and available. The armchairs very comfortable, spacious and above all clean. The compartment dedicated to suitcases for each carriage is a little 'sacrificed, you can stow a maximum of 2-3 medium to large suitcases and upper 2-3 medium small.
Apart from this I can only recommend Italo Train, lower prices than Trenitalia, excellent hostess service, punctuality in the routes.

I forgot my jacket in Bologna on the train to Verona PN- After twenty minutes I called Italo assistance specifying the wagon and the place. Unfortunately the jacket was not found and it embitters me a lot because if the Capo Treno had been contacted immediately the jacket would certainly have been found.

smart squeezed class, narrow uncomfortable and without staff. On their site they talk about catering service in place, well, that's not true. At lunchtime the absolute nothingness. Only a distributor of crap, chocolates and chips. I asked the contollore if there was a wagon bar or restaurant and he even replied to me badly. Closure of the broken bathroom (which, however, seems to close) and to a poor passenger one opened the door just as she was on the move. It is the first time I travel with Italo and also the last one. W the arrows !!!

I called the paid assistance number 892020 for the second time and this time the Rovereto station answered me. I purchased the tickets on March 6, 2020, before the lockdown, and I requested a refund from May 8, 2020 because I am fully entitled to it due to the Coronavirus pandemic. On their site it is explicitly written that those who bought tickets before March 9th are entitled to a refund. The 90 day refund period has expired and I haven't received anything! What did I conclude by calling? I only lost another 16 euros and the woman who answered me was purposely wasting my time and then she closed the phone directly in my face without giving me a refund. I think it's time to report the number 892020 to finance and see how legal this system is! The other time Italo was able to steal 10 euros of credit from me in 2 minutes! And I specify that the first minute was of music from the record. SHAME!

Italo represents the (victorious) revenge of the train on the plane. Especially in the Rome-Milan section the airplane is no longer competitive; if we then add the comfortable seats and impeccable cleanliness, Italo leaves the net winner.

I've been traveling with Italo for years, and maybe I can count on the fingers of one hand the times the train arrived at its destination on time. And for the umpteenth time, even today, 24/01/19 we arrived at an hour late. NTV Italo is a scandalous company. They should only be ashamed from the moment when it became obvious that they illude travelers, selling tickets with not indifferent promotions but NEVER offer the service paid. I highly recommend you go back to traveling as you used to do ... w Trenitalia.
