I received such a horrible experience with my car....

I received such a horrible experience with my car... I will NEVER recommend or suggest anyone to go there. I was on the Dodge side... I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. Keep in mind, I have owned a dodge since 2008 and have received great customer service until this service time. It would take me all day to give you details of the entire experience. To sum it up, I drove my car into the dealership and had to pay someone to tow it away!?. RIDICULOUS

Went to a competitor and had no issues payment where I wanted it credit ran only once and in a more expensive truck.

Joey, head of Jeep service, was fantastic. I called from another state where we live to see if they could service our daughters car in Auburn. My Jeep dealership couldn t get radiator until Tuesday, Joey was able to get the part, install it and have Jeep back to us by Monday. Our daughter had her Jeep back and was ready to begin her senior year of college safely. Also the young lady who greeted me and took the service order was so friendly and patient with me. Opelika Jeep...is a wonderful service department. Highly recommend them.

I have bought three vehicles from this dealership ...

I have bought three vehicles from this dealership but will never buy from them again and will tell everyone I know just how dishonest this place is. I was working on a deal to buy a new truck with them today and I had done my research on the incentives they had on all the new vehicles. When they were explaining the breakdown of our deal I looked at the incentives and it didn t add up. I asked about it and was told that $750 of the incentives listed on the website only pertained to certain vehicles but yet it s listed on all of the new vehicles ford and dodge! That s not how it works. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I drove from Louisville, KY to buy from Opelika FCJDR. After getting the run around from a dealer close to me I started searching online and found the exact truck I was looking for. I contacted Mandale Lee at Opelika and he was very helpful. We were able to agree on a price for my trade in and the purchase of the new vehicle over the phone. I have had experiences where the dealership would try to resell the deal after a phone agreement so I was prepared for that to happen again, but it didn t. I drove down and the transaction went as smooth as silk. It was worth driving 8 hours to get the vehicle I wanted and now I won t hesitate to do it again. Reach out to Mandale and you won t be disappointed.

I had a good experience overall, but I didn t like it when I found out that the discount listed on the your website did not apply to everyone. It should be more obvious that some of that discount is for military or first responders. I almost left the dealership over this issue. I shouldn t have to read the fine print to find out about the discount requirements.

Very unhappy. I have taken my vehicle there 5 times due to a hard downshift issue. Everytime it is something different. First it was a software issue, then it was a faulty transmission, then a shift adapter and finally (hopefully), a valve body. Mind you my car is a 2016 and I have only had it for less than 2 years. Now they are going to change the valve body but its not in stock so it could be days or weeks to come in. Their intent is that this should fix the issue. If not, the transmission will be replaced AGAIN in less than 2 years. I d rather not even deal with the issue.

Within only a few minutes of questions and background information, Josh was able to narrow down some options within their available stock. Josh then sent me the online information of four Durangos that I was interested in and then took a video of the one I was leaning heavily towards. I drove from Columbus, GA and by the time I got to the dealership, Josh had the vehicle out in front and ready for a test drive. The customer service and professionalism was above and beyond what I have experienced from other dealerships.

I have now bought two vehicles from Opelika Chrysler and love the dealership. Kevin Lewis is great he is a people person and I feel like when I deal with him he is an old friend. I feel comfortable going there. I don t ever feel pressured. I bought my Ram 1500 4x4 Saturday and the deal was smooth and I feel like I got a great deal. If I ever need another car or truck I will definitely use them again. The service department it great but a little slow but they are very busy. But all in all Opelika has the lowest prices around on cars and trucks.

Would highly recommend this service department. After having to change my appointment (my fault) they were quick to get me in the following week. When I came in they knew I was on a time constraint and worked hard to get me done in a very timely manner. Also every single person I encountered in the service department was so kind and friendly. Definitely got the southern hospitality I feel like I haven t seen since we moved to the area! We will definitely be using them again!

This is the fourth vehicle my family has purchased from this dealership they have always treated us with great respect from the internet department headed up by Lauren Hudson to the Sales team, and Sales Managers. If there is a problem they always work quickly and professionally to solve it. They have one of the best inventories in the area, and if you are just driving by or through the dealership you can tell they take pride in how they stage their autos to allow you ease of access.

I wasn t aware when I walked onto the lot that this was a primarily no haggle lot. However, they did work with what I was able to give and they really worked with what I wanted, rather than directing me to anything that I hadn t asked for.
Really nice vibes in the company, I never felt pressured to buy, and the guidance they gave for financing was wonderful. Very happy with the purchase I made today. Will update in the future if the vehicle is unlike what I originally believed it to be. However I think I may have actually found a good place.

My son, who recently graduated from Auburn, took his 2013 Dodge Charger in for an oil change and tire rotation on December 16. Mike at the service desk told him that the car needed its 60k service and that it would cost about $1100. When my son called me I immediately called my local independent auto service shop and was given a quote for $200 for the same service! In addition, the service records I keep showed that we had a 60K mike service performed already at another Dodge dealer...which most certainly would have been in the Dodge service computer system for that vehicle s VIN. When I presented these facts to Mike, he defended his quote by saying the dealership does much more than the manufacturers requirements and that they do it for the drivers safety. I had my son quickly retrieve the car so that they could not proceed.

I took the car today to my local service tech. All we really needed was an oil change and rotation...all of $80.

Please be aware of what you might be getting into by using this dealership for service. It s practices like this that give the entire industry a black eye. As for me, I will tell this story to everyone I know in the Auburn/Opelika area (quite a few) and warn them to stay away!

Both times I have picked it up and been told everything is good and then the same problem happens 5 mins down the road. Go anywhere else to purchase your Dodge, Jeep, or Ram vehicle.

Do NOT recommend! The engine noise was reported a couple of months ago and was told they didn t hear it. It worsened and was really loud. Took it by on Wednesday and was told they didn t have anyone that could diagnose the issue to bring it back Friday and they would have me in a rental car by noon, if under warranty. I dropped the car on Thursday night to speed up the process and they still didn t have an answer by noon Friday. We had to keep calling asking them to check it so we could get transportation. Then, was told even though it was warranty we could only have a rental for 10 days and we should get the car over the weekend because they had to order the parts. That s ridiculous! Also, I m still not sure it s repaired correctly as it s now misfiring but can t get it back to get it rechecked.

Really excellent service experience at Opelika Chrysler. Staff was very knowledgable regarding the details of getting my truck fixed. Very friendly. Got all the work done quickly. Courtesy shuttle service was . Also, I m familiar with the sales staff. When I need a new truck, this is the place I m going. It helps to know: #1 the dealership is not trying to rip you off, and #2 if/when you need your truck fixed, etc. the service team is excellent and will definitely help you out.

Wish I could leave zero stars. Took my van in to have a security light issue looked at and they said it was a year too old to diagnose. They won't work on anything older than 2004 because they don't have the equipment to scan it. Yeah right. I've been in the automotive business for over 15 years and have never heard of that. I'd fix it myself but I don't have the $12k computer to get into the PCM on my van. SMH what's with people so lazy these days? Thanks for the free money Biden, now no one wants to do their job!

The one star is because at least the people were nice. Since I have a dodge and this was a dodge dealership, I assumed that they would have expertise on dodge cars. I took my car there because it was overheating. After 3 days,They told me they couldn t find anything wrong but they noticed a skip when they cranked it and settled as they drove it. They charged me 104 and said for 400 more dollars they could diagnose the problem which I thought the 104 was for a diagnosis. I called my brother who is a mechanic who said it sounded like a head gasket and he didn t understand why they couldn t figure that out. I towed it to another shop and got a diagnosis in less than an hour. It was a head gasket. I am very disappointed in the level of knowledgeability they had and that they tried to swindle more money out of me

I'd leave 0 stars if possible. Car buying experience was fine. However our van came with 3 free oil changes for a year which has been nothing but a problem the entire time. There was an oil change that took over 2 hours when we were the very first appt. Also we made an appt online and when we got there the day of the appt they told us they were booked already and couldn't honor the online confirmation. Then a few days later the ford department called me and said I missed my appt. Meanwhile I have a dodge... the experience shouldn't be this bad at all it almost makes me want to just pay to go somewhere else and definitely makes me not want to do business at all with them which is unfortunate.

This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. My change oil indicator came on when I was leaving for a trip. I stopped by without an appointment, expecting it to be a long wait and having to reschedule my trip. This dealership had me back on the road in less then an hour and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a great experience and I will definitely be back!

Let me be very clear. My one star rating is STRICTLY focused on the lack of ready access to service needs. I have only high praise for the service advisors and technicians, but they are being placed in an untenable situation by OCDJR management. The dealership has a call service to schedule appointments. However due to overbooking it can take over two weeks to get even routine service like an oil change and 21 point inspection. This is completely unsatisfactory, particularly when I can take my other vehicles from a different manufacturer to that dealership and get the same service on a drive in basis and be out within an hour. I've raised this issue several times and found out the real problem. There are not enough technicians to meet the need, and management turns a deaf ear to fixing the problem. This leaves the service advisors who are doing everything they can to meet customer needs left to bear the brunt from dissatisfied customers. Having had a previous Jeep Cherokee serviced at this dealership, I hesitated in buying another one. I raised the issue with the sales personnel and was told the dealership was working to fix the access problem. I bought the vehicle, and am very happy with the car. But access to service remains sub-standard and definitely below the industry standard and what their competitors are providing. As I mentioned, once you get in to have your car serviced, the quality of service and concern for the customer is outstanding. But sooner or later this lack of access and uncaring on the part of management to fix the problem will lead to decreased revenue. I'm reaching my saturation point if access doesn't improve. I only hope management gets the message and starts supporting their service personnel and ultimately its loyal customers.

Went to get our free oil change, set up an appointment on the number given to us to do so, show up for the appointment, and we were told we didnt have one. They said that we called the "call center" and they dont have access to make appointments. But the representative that we set the appointment with followed through. So now an hour later we are still waiting on our car to get the oil changed and they havent even took it into the garage. Horrible customer service and communication.

The only reason I took my car to Opelika Chrysler is bc I could not make it to North Columbus Chrysler auto nation. These ppl are the worst I took my car there for recalls they said something else was wrong with my car they didn't know how to process the warranty info. In my car paperwork was everywhere I had ants all threw it then on top of it my tire sensor where fine when I brought my car to them. Now that I have it back they are not working when I went back the same day an hour later they said well tire sensor go bad that's not our fault really! This company is the worse if my car could have made it to auto nation I would I have done so. Next time ill gladly eat the tow fees. Very poor service they just want your money and give you very poor service
