My experience with the OLVG is: quality extremely sad. You may also abbreviate it.
First, an incorrect diagnosis is made. Then, after a doctor's visit with equipment at home, I have to be admitted as a matter of urgency and I get to hear all kinds of fake excuses about why they cannot operate immediately. It is Boxing Day and there is only 1 OK (!!!) available, there are people who could be more urgent (not that they are!) If you shout loud enough you will get the first turn, despite the fact that the complication of a late operation can be fatal. I don't want to talk about the complications of acting too late. But luckily there is surgery after almost 24 hours.
The nurses are made friendly or they are too stupid. In any case, their approach to their patients does not prove sufficient intelligence or eq. Paracetamol according to protocol in addition to a morphine preparation because it must be according to the rules (protocol and these are sacred and go for any kind of humanity), even though the patient has to remain sober while waiting for the operation, goes above the wish of the patient not wanting this and are therefore brought in with a "loving look" because of so much stupidity of the patient! Also, the patient is not shown what is in the syringe or the doctor's prescription for this medication.
I also noticed that the nursing staff did not wash their hands from going from one patient to another, the sheets were still full of blood stains (from Whom ??) the equipment is not cleaned after use, but the blood pressure monitor and pulse counter just goes from one patient to the next. Bah bah bah and again bah !!! The beds are also placed so close to each other that there can be no privacy. Also because the other ladies want the curtains around the bed, Or is it another protocol so that the nurses do not have to take a step too much? Because I have seen really big nurses there. You couldn't tell by their weight that they have to work hard there. Fortunately there were slender nurses who seemed to be better at their job.
I was once in nursing, but I have never experienced that a patient who needs to be admitted to an emergency cannot be operated on within 24 hours. It could then be suggested that the patient be admitted to a hospital where this is possible. The quality of this hospital is the same as that of a small peripheral hospital, which already finds itself almost academic because they have physician assistants who can do the work during the weekends and holidays. Perhaps there is still a "real" doctor present, but I have not been able to establish that.
Posting this review is also a solid undertaking. You really want it if you want this review posted.
