Children no prio at OLVG First Aid !. Bruised arms and legs are mature (tourists). With child 10 years old, high fever in 2 hours, drowsy, vibrant, after SEH OLVG. First intake: yes, he is really ill, immediately registered for emergency room treatment (so no GP station) Second intake; dr comes in max 30 minutes says nurse. In the waiting room: the child always falls away and wants to lie down. He can lie on a bed at the emergency room. Nurse sees that he is quite ill. Measure fever and give paracetamol. So far top; but then he is no longer looked at. Father ask for waiting list status. Busy. (but all children's beds in emergency room are empty! Nurse does her utmost but all emergency room doctors are busy, And the Pediatrician (en - ass) go to lunch !. But sore arms etc leave home in those 90 minutes. So they all have home seen a doctor. Nurse calls and calls "do you forget that sick child does not?" "Child is lying drowsy in bed. Father asks again if other nurse wants to measure temperature. Furthermore, nurse never did checks or measured temperature. Not connected to monitor After trying to figure out how long it will take, the answer can take 5 minutes but also 30. Prio color on status child will be adjusted but has no effect on waiting time. When father is tired and says to leave the tone of the nurse changes and according to her, communication has become a discussion where the father tries to be right, so Father gets a kick in. OLVG how do you plan? Why do you just let a child lie? without checks? What do you mean lunch? Why are 5 doctors or Ass tapping at the same time behind their screens at the emergency room? Thanks for this terrible experience! Ps Depart without treatment! Child quickly put in the car and went to the doctor. Immediately (blood) examination done and medication given. Diagnosis: major infection!
