Went there for company Christmas party. Great location and very nice stuffs. Food was ok.

Incredible small resort! This is the only place we stay when visiting family in Jax. Everything about the place is luxury, I love that its not a 'chain' hotel like so many others. Definitely a unique place with upscale feel. All the staff seem genuinely happy and always willing to help! Also 5 star location, walk across the street to tons of restaurants and fun bars. We always find something new to explore and try when visiting.

Great atmosphere and service. But they make you pay for it.

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we continue celebrate our Anniversaries here too! The GM, David Mariotti has always made sure our stay at One Ocean is one that we will never forget. Your missing out if you have never stayed here.

Maybe not as upscale as you may expect, but it's nice.

I was blown away at the level of service I received here! I had an unusual request, and they were more than happy to fulfill it! All the staff were very helpful and had wonderful attitudes. If I find myself in JAX again, I know where I am staying.

It's a nice place to walk on the beach or spend time at the beach.

Valet parking was excellent the gentleman was very polite and was very helpful. The staff at the front desk were polite and very friendly and made you feel like you were family. The room had amazing views of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and the size of the room was pretty big the only downside was the small bathroom. The hotel was in a great location next to several bars and restaurants.

You are paying for the location, not the room. Our King room was so tiny with a bathroom so small that you could barely shut the door unless you sat on the toilet. AC wasn't cold, hot water was only warm, furnishings were outdated for a resort of this caliber. How clean the room was is questionable. If you wanted ice you had to go to front desk to get 1 bucket of ice because they didn't answer when we called guest service and you can't serve yourself. Valet parking only, $25/day, and the attendees were backed up. They had signs requiring masks in the hotel common areas but didn't enforce it. Had to ride the elevator multiple times with people not wearing masks (its Florida, folks!). Would stay somewhere else for that price.

What a great experience! Staff here was absolutely amazing, every single employee we met was helpful and polite! It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for - the room was clean and modern, the bed was really comfortable and the service was impeccable! Even the complimentary bath products were high quality! And the location is great - right on the beach and within short walk to many great restaurants and bars! We will be back!!!

One of the best resorts ever! On the sugar sand beach near great restaurants. Can't think of a better location. From front desk staff to server in the restaurant to event manager, service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and courteous. Walking on the beach at sunrise with coffee and my thoughts. It does not get any better.

I had One Ocean resorts host a birthday party for 16 people last Saturday night. I just have to say that the ambiance, food, drinks and staff were exceptional. No request was too small and the staff...The staff were bar none some of the finest people i have met. Very professional, courteous and accommodating A special thank you to Joe Green and his crew. ! Seriously folks. Give this place a try for your next event. If you ever have a problem go to Joe Green. Happy New year and God bless.

I visited the hotel for a conference. The conference rooms were clean and adequate for the tasks at hand. I loved the entry way to the on site restaurant. It made me feel as though I was under water. That blue is beautiful!

The restaurant Salt that resides inside One Ocean Resort is probably one of the most spectacular meals you'll have in Jacksonville. Locally-sourced as much as possible eloquently prepared and plated. This is definitely a must do for those special occasions, and if you're like me you'll just go because you like it.

Fantastic resort for beachgoers desiring a touch of luxury. Some highlights: lovely, well-appointed rooms, fantastic Atlantic Ocean views from the balcony suites, fully stocked complimentary mini-bar, attentive staff, and spa services.

I had a wonderful view from my superior balcony room just as if I was on my cruise from my balcony room.The valet staff were awesome. I can't say the same about some of the front desk staff. The majority of the guests wore masts as requested. Social distancing was not a problem. Hand sanitizer is abundant throughout the building especially by the elevators. The spa staff were fabulous. Chelsea gave me an awesome massage. My daughter and my sisters had awesome spa staff as well. I would like to acknowledge them. Their names are Ariel, Melissa and Laura. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the housekeeping staff. They came by to see if we needed water for the road prior to check out. Great birthday get away.

Great spot for a weekend stay. The SPA is fabulous and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bartender in the lobby is off the chain. He's really a genius mixologist. Don't have too many though you will want to go straight upstairs to your room. Highly recommend.

So glad we stayed here! Such a beautiful hotel and the staff is so great and accommodating. Everything I needed was taken care of. They offer the kind of service you would expect from a resort. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our stay.

We came here for an anniversary. Oceanfront room was awesome just leaving the door open and listen to the waves. I called a day before to speak with concierge dept which they dont have a concierge dept. There was no option to have room romantically set up (ie champagne, strawberries etc)...quite disappointing. No room service was disappointing. We decided to visit anyway. We arrived, check in was a breeze. Signs posted all over that says "FACE MASK REQUIRED" however I passed MANY people without a face mask. So it definitely was not enforced. There needs to be a sign near elevator with max number of people on at one time for social distancing. I was on the elevator and 4 more entered the elevator for a total of 6....There should be no more than 4 people on that small elevator at a time. I firgured with everyone taking COVID precautions it would be ok to visit this location. Although, All staff did have masks on at all times, so did I. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small although water pressure was great. Great location for beach, shopping and dining. The worse part of the trip was as my husband and I was exchanging gifts....looked up and saw a crawling ROACH! It wasnt a water roach either! This was the first resort Ive stayed at and was not asked "How was your stay? How was the room?" upon checkout. I would've mentioned the roach at that time but was never asked. My husband and I will not return to this "resort" again and will not recommend. If you want real feel of resort....visit elsewhere. It was last minute and I failed to do enough research. Ill go to St Augustine next time. Every anniversary we travel out of the country due to COVID we stayed and chose ,"One Ocean"..Wont make that mistake again.

It's lush and smells good and the beach and nightlife are all right there! No need for the car!

Rooms were lovely. The location had great food and bars in walking distance. Location was right on the beach.

Everything was just as we expected and more it was nice having the beach within a few feet away everyone was very helpful and kind!

We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary here and our experience was exceptional.

One Ocean Resort was the perfect weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I!! One Ocean is ideally located right on Jax beach and within walking distance of several quality restaurants and bars... I highly recommend North Beach Fish Camp. Our balcony suite was spacious, clean and had an amazing view of the Jax Beach. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating, special thanks to Taylor Howell for setting us up with the reservation. Will definitely be back soon.

Great location right on the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants/shopping. Amber and Nikk really worked hard to get us two rooms at the last minute for our family! Thank you so much!

We had a great experience with our event FAWL this week. The staff was was very helpful getting is everything we needed. Amy at food and beverage was beyond kind and gave us a complementary breakfast when we missed ours "custom order".

All the food was tasty and the decor was very pleasing. The AC works really really well. Almost too cold at times. Haha "no complaints here" Tom the bar tender was also super nice and helped us out as well.

Beautiful views, great staff, and a clean place to have an event or even dinner and drinks. Defiantly worth the extra couple of bucks!

I recently got married at One Ocean and I still have a fuzzy feeling inside about just how wonderful it was. Everything about One Ocean is top notch. Every guest of mine for our wedding was raving to me about how friendly and helpful the staff was- and that is a great feeling as a bride! Megan, was second to none. If you re considering getting married at One Ocean- I urge you to go and meet Megan... you ll never look back! She made our wedding experience amazing. She was helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond. She made me feel like a princess and a friend who genuinely cared about the success of our wedding. There s no better feeling than a successful wedding that everyone will talk about for years to come and it s all thanks to Megan and the staff at One Ocean!

I dont know where to start .rooms are so loud at night every time someone opens there room doors the whole room doors and windows sound it like someone kicking in didn t get goodnight sleep....and at the pool side walls and balcony floors concrete cracking and falling part and looks like any min going to fall on someone head

Great hotel and very kind staff. It s the simple things that make for a great visit! When I was checking out, one of the housekeepers asked if I wanted to take a bottle of water with me to-go and if there was anything I needed for my departure. So simple, but very memorable.
The views are lovely and the amenities are very good. Be sure to check out the beach town and surrounding restaurants!

STAY AWAY. This place has extremely rude front desk staff. They oversold our room put us in a cheaper room. No ice bucket. This is a Hampton Inn at best and I think am insulting Hampton by saying that. Rooms small and cramped. Just terrible experience. Go stay down the street at Marriott. You will thank us. You can tell the staff here is poorly lead by their leadership. You have to go through a maze of elevators to get to your room. The one star rating is too generous.

Super convenient location. Rooms where smallish but nice, your on vacation, not supposed to be in the room much. added fees but unlimited snacks/drinks were awesome and nice to have. We called for crib and they sent basket with baby supplies, bottle warmer, blanket, etc on the house. As service goes, this place is on the right track, all the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Very timely and responsive with requests. We were there for a wedding and they put up with generally rowdy crowd well. I'd recommend this hotel if you want to be in a nice modern service oriented hotel.
Didn't eat at restaurant.

We just recently stayed here. Can't say I was to impressed. For one they quoted us a different price then what we hado to pay. Second they were suppose to give us a room with 2 beds. Get up there and just 1 bed. Waited in the room for over 30 minutes and nothing. Call back down and they did finally send someone immediately up to give us another room. After you drove the last thing you wanna do is waste time trying to get into the room you requested. Stayed in a few other places and I must say was disappointed with this one.

Beach full service, they bring lounge chairs and umbrellas out so you don't have to, towels out and ready for you.
The pool is heated, the food is top notch.
Great place, lots of restaurants within walking distance, too.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was such a fantastic place we fell in love with it!! So we are going back for NYE and the weekend prior! I know we will have a marvelous time. If you are questioning going- DO it!! You will be so glad you did!

Just beautiful from the outside all the way to the room

The lobby was excellent, and the outside look of the hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly, and we received a call to let us know about the concierge services available to us, which was a nice touch. The view was horrendous - immediately outside of our window was a rusty A/C unit. I understand that not every room is going to have the best view, but for $300/night you'd think that there would be more of an effort made here. We were woken up early Sunday morning by a staffer asking us when we were planning on checking out - over two hours before checkout! Felt pushy and left us with a very poor overall impression. I wouldn't recommend staying here for the price, unless you get a discount online or a room with a better view.

The view from the room was awesome. The hotel amenities are exceptional.

Had fantastic 5 day stay here! The room very modern , comfortable and clean. The balcony and the view off the city was beautiful. I will surely stay here gain!

I had to cancel my reservation due to Covid-19 and have been waiting for three weeks for my refund!
I m pretty sure I ll never stay at this place got that reason, and the fact that they charge $25 a day for parking. They failed to mention this when I booked.
This is ridiculous!
Plan on waiting a very long time for a refund if you have to cancel!

New Year's Eve is fabulous. The town of Atlantic Beach is friendly. Prices are comparable throughout.

Letter written to manager. When we booked room we inquired about a senior discount. We should have been told about the elevator (two to get to room) We had the air conditioner worked on as it would not get warmer.This morning it was in the 60 in room when set for 79.When taking shower water pours out on floor. HAD THAT checked, can't be repaired while we are here.Has been leaking how long? Is there mold? We are checking out a day early. Does 4 star mean room not cleaned until 4 P.M. THAT was yesterday. We did find your personnel very nice. Room 404.

Our room was phenomenal. The entire stay great. The manager, Ms. Laura is on top of her business and ensured our stay was excellent. Alec at the Azure restaurant (patio seating), who doesn't normally wait tables, stepped in on today to help out and he did a phenomenal job. He told us, he didn't want us to have to wait for service so, he grabbed a pad, took our order and waited on us the entire time. That's a great employee and excellent customer service.

Had a Christmas party here. I hope to actually stay here for vacation soon!

Was great all staff members were polite and very friendly. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed it so much we will be going back. Not one bad thing to say about the place. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is definitely the best one yet.

It begins when you drive up and are greeted with nice warm smiles and helpful gestures. Then the front desk staff and everyone else we see getting to our room always speaks and makes sure we are getting everything we need. You will not pass a member of this staff that doesn t speak to you along the way. We ve never stayed anywhere away from home that made us feel so at home like One Ocean Resort! Our favorite Florida getaway spot several times a year for some of the most relaxing and refreshing moments in our life! Thank you for going the extra mile that makes all the difference! If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would! Y all deserve it! We love our visits and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Excellent experience and the customer service was great

Rooms are kinda dated and not in the best shape due to being old.

As a local resident, I enjoy the opportunity to have a staycation and the One Ocean resort and spa is the first place I think of when I want to have a staycation and relax. I love having lunch by the pool that overlooks the ocean and their spa services are also amazing. I ve always been treated with respect and they have always gone out of their way to make my experience positive , whether it was overnight or for the spa with all my mom friends or dinner amazing experience.

As basics go it was ok. Prime location. But amenities are suspended due to covid hoax
Bed ooverings had tear in them. Repair or replace them.
No room cleaning during stay.- sand tracked in & unable to do anything about it
Keurig coffee pods weren't tasty. Do surveys to find most palatable flavors & go with that
Headboard has oil stains & needs deep steam cleaning/sanitizing
This prime property should not overlook these details
Elevators underserved guests during peak hours and beach goers as well as one elevator being down during stay
Parking should be included. This is Florida, not Chicago or New York
Also no food service
Joseph's pizza across the lot was disgusting- don't go
