Our stay started off very rocky. We/They have 3 days to make.it better.

Very nice and accommodating! Friendly staff. Very pet friendly!

While my stay at One Ocean was short lived, it was quite wonderful! The staff were all friendly, helpful, and greeted you with a smile. Check-in was a breeze, and it wasn't more than 5 minutes after I had arrived in my room that the docent came to welcome me to the resort. She explained that all of the snacks and non-alcoholic beverages were complimentary and available for refill at my desire. She also noted that while they had Pepsi products in the fridge, they would replace them with Coca Cola products if it were my preference. **That's AWESOME to me, because I'm a huge Coca Cola fan--booooo Pepsi** However, she probably shouldn't have told me that was all complimentary...because I like to eat a lot.

The room itself was impeccably clean. They also provided enough pillows on the bed for me to create a pillow fort, if needed. I was really impressed with the water pressure in the shower! You typically don't see great water pressure in hotels.

Before my group departed for dinner, we stopped downstairs to have a drink from the bar. The bartender was very attentive, despite the fact that our group of over 30 people had swarmed the bar in a matter of 15 minutes.

**I did not bring my dog with me, but was thrilled to discover that their resort is pet friendly! If you take time to read through the resort guide in your room, you'll find a TON of amenities for your furry family members. If I'm ever back up in the area...I'll be sure to bring my dog!!!

Basic room not too clean, headboard was filthy, shower had mold, stains on furniture and carpet. The price you pay to stay here does not justify the room quality. Dogs are allowed and it seemed like everyone had a pet. Probably why the rooms are in such a bad state. Dogs in the elevators at the pool in the lobby, dogs everywhere. I love my dog but I m not taking him on vacation, and I shouldn t be forced to vacation with someone else s dog. Last time staying here.

Our visit was both business and pleasure. We loved One Ocean! Facilities were clean and well maintained and staff were terrific! Enjoyed the spa services, poolside service, and food was all very good. Booked this very last minute after checking out of a sub par hotel where we had just checked in. We look forward to returning to Atlantic Beach and One Ocean Resort in the near future!

The staff are very attentive, love One Ocean Resort &Spa!

We had the most wonderful time at the One Ocean Resort. This was our 27th anniversary celebration and we could not have made a better choice. The staff was both professional and as nice as could be, the room was perfect. The little touches like the fresh coffee service each morning as well as the chocolates left on the pillow each night. The view was breath taking and the private access to the beach made things so convenient.

We will be back, that is for sure.

Starting with the free vallet service to the no wait line to check in, our stay went very smoothly. We slept well and it wasn't noisy at all. We had a corner room, which was the smallest room of the floor, so the bathroom was tiny, as in the door almost hits the toilet when you walk in the bathroom. Everything worked as it should and it felt clean too. The spa was a little expensive but still enjoyable. Coffee was brought to our door right at 9 as we asked. Dinner options were walking distance. So overall, the staff made the stay very delightful and it was nice that we could walk everywhere for our needs.

My friend and I needed to get away and be pampered, and this is the place to be! The ocean front views are breathtaking. The staff is very polite and willing to tend to your needs and wants. The SPA location and service is unparalleled. We loved the convenience of having several nice restaurants walking distance. This was our second time staying and we were not disappointed.

I love this resort! Best to get one of their specials to cut cost. This hotel is beautiful and their staff really take great care of you! Love the location also! Right on the beach and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and bars! The spa area is extremely relaxing also! You will not be disappointed! Splurge and enjoy your stay! We did!

The room was pretty good but a lot of stuff was outdated. The bathroom was showing wears of time with cracks in places that there shouldn't be. But beware they nickel and dime you for everything. Charge you resort fees for stuff you never use. Valet parking is $25 a day and you have to tip the valet. You're going to get charged the valet whether you want to or not. They are definitely taking advantage of the fact that there's nowhere else to park. If it wasn't for this being on the ocean it would not be worth the money.

Edit: The extra fees were not disclosed at any point during the reservation process. One is not aware of these fees until you get to the front desk having already made the reservation. At this point you're stuck and you're just going to eat the fees because you want your family to have a nice time. Not very nice.

Decent, they shouldn't charge 300.00 a night and then 10.00 a day for parking.

Staff was always courteous. The Valets were very professional. Can t wait to come back next month.

After getting royally screwed over during my Memorial Day weekend visit there for my sisters wedding I'm still waiting for my refund 3 weeks later. The person who contacted me there won't return my emails, my mother's emails, or my phone calls. They did some shady stuff putting some weirdo hold charges on my Credit Card which were cleared but now I'm desperate to chase them down for any information about a promised refund. If you guys don't want to give me a refund just tell me! Don't give me the silent treatment and leave me wondering what the hell is going on and checking my Credit Card balance everyday waiting for it.

I don't understand what the problem is here. Who else do I have to call to get an answer out of you guys?

The hotel is just amazing! The staff, restaurants, services and location all exceeded my expectations. I was here on business and was pleasantly surprised that they offer complimentary shirt pressing which I ve never had at any other hotel in the past. The staff is always ready and willing to assist you with whatever you need. This hotel truly earns its five stars.

Wonderful place! The beach chair vendors were surly and dicourteous. All other staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

I am in awe of the view, the staff, and the service. Other commercial businesses envy this location. There is no comparison. If you have never been here, you have no idea what you are missing. I have never been speechless about great service. Wow is not even close to how clients and guests feel.

The hotel was very nice and the bed was SUPER comfortable. Gardner was probably the best part about my experience and he was very hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure that my boyfriend and I were comfortable and made sure we enjoyed our time. I will definitely come back in the future in hopes to see Gardner as the manager!

Beautiful area. Clean beach Neptune/Atlantic neighboring beaches. This beach mid section of quaint Beach town Neptune Beach. Restaurants, Souvenirs, shops, bars, beach stores. Pet friendly beach. Pretty town. Nicer than Jax Beach.

Great beachside location with lots of things to do nearby. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience, and the resort fee includes a lot of extras that many hotels and resorts charge separately for. We loved it, and we will be back!

The most relaxing and charming hotel on the east coast. I love this place. I wish that I could live here. Top notch!

The best part is that this place is dog friendly. My pooch loves One Ocean. This is his second time here. Bring your dog. You will not regret it. Pamper your pooch.

I travel for work and stayed at many different hotels and the service at One Ocean was by far the best!

My family stayed there April 8th-11th for my nephew's wedding. The staff was wonderful! The pool bartenders, waiters at the restaurant, our housekeeper , but mainly the waiters and bar tenders at the reception!! (Oops, we did have an issue when my sons checked in and the young lady was rather rude when I came down to figure things out). The food was fantastic for the reception and brunch the next morning. The beach being right there was fabulous and it's so close to other restaurants and shops.

The food was excellent, the servise also wonderful, i will go again and I would recommend it

Beautiful hotel with superb service! Awesome location, beautiful spa, wonderful food. Nick, Laura, Kaytee, Reggie and so many others made our stay wonderful! I highly recommend it!

Second year coming back here and really enjoy it. Very nice, clean and quiet. Plenty of shops and restaurants right out front and private beach access in back. My favorite place to stay when coming to Jax beaches.

Did not stay here, but visited to use the restroom. Door was held open for me and I was politely greeted. The bathrooms were clean and had the most pleasant smelling hand soap along with the softest hand towels ive ever felt. Right on the beach with a wonderful view

I was in a bind with my room. It was critical that I had strong WiFi and bandwidth for a video presentation. Brett determined my room was spotty, tested other rooms, and then upgraded me to one with great connectivity. He verified everything before the move.

I loved this place! Loved the snacks, loved the robes, loved the proximity to the beach.....It was a very nice experience

Please clean the sheets.

There was a blood stain on the top sheet of one of the beds in our room, so we called to have housekeeping bring us another sheet.

When two ladies arrived to switch out the sheets, they removed the soiled sheet , revealing a mattress topper that carried 3 pee stains and a random purple stain as well. (Photo attached)

The housekeepers proceeded to lay a fresh new sheet on top of this dirty one. We were stunned. They did this with ease so it tells me that they're used to proceeding with dirty sheets and mattress toppers.

Of course, because of this, we had to ask for a new mattress topper as well. One of the housekeepers (Joann) graciously obliged, while the other housekeeper stepped out , without saying a word to us and leaving Joann struggling to fit the new mattress topper on the bed. She was very kind to us while trying to get this done. My sister and I began helping her with the sheet, until her manager, Joncarlo, came into the room with another fellow. He began fussing at her because he wanted her to spend her time on other rooms. She explained that she was helping a guest, and that it wasn't right that the guest was helping her place the sheet while he and the other man just stood by fussing.

Joncarlo placed the sheet in one fell swoop, but it was really frustrating to be in the mix when a manager is fussing at his subordinate (especially when all she was trying to do was help us.) She also shouldn't have had to SHAME him into helping her. There was teamwork involved, whatsoever.

This incident took away from the resort experience immensely. In planning our trip, we'd considered staying at a basic hotel instead of this one, but decided on this so-called 4-star hotel in hopes that it would be CLEANER.

We ended up getting the same result as if we'd stayed at a budget hotel, so I insisted on only paying what I'd pay at a budget accommodation. We couldn't enjoy even our new room after this---it appears that they re-use clearly soiled sheets over and over again. There's no telling what else is not being cleaned.

Please work on this...for more than $250 a night, we should probably be able to expect new sheets for each guest.

The Front Desk Staff were amazing and very helpful.

It is a nice hotel and the staff are friendly, but on our wedding night we got grief for smoking on the balcony. I didn't know that you can charge for air?I wasn't charged, but was informed that you can't smoke outside.

One Ocean is a clean, modern hotel on the beach in Jacksonville. This is a very nice hotel and staff. The property is beautiful and maintained for any occasion.

I absolutely love One Ocean! It s a gem of a hotel on the beach, with great amenities, a first class spa, fabulous cuisine and the service is unmatched. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, accommodate your requests and the location can t be beat! It s walking distance to great restaurants, boutiques and bars.
It s my home away from home when I have to go to the Mayo Clinic.

I just checked in 5 hours ago and generally never leave a review until after I've left but this one requires an immediate review. With everything going on with COVID, I'm so much more comfortable at a hotel than I thought I would be. It's extra clean and they are being very socially responsible. There is sanitizer everywhere I look it seems, signage to remind you about space and the service here has been awesome so far. Between the front desk (Morgan I believe) to the restaurant (Brian was the best) it's been 5+ stars so far.

The restaurant was spaced wity blocking off every other dining tables/booths or more. Large wine/cocktail menu, crab cakes were so very good and the filets were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere and decor is very nice and again, staff here is so friendly and attentive!

I hope the rest of the weekend is as great as night #1!

We absolutely loved our stay! The service was outstanding but I feel it was a little Overkill. I appreciate the effort and standards. The free mini bar was phenomenal. The BEACH!!! My husband worked and I lounged. I didn't think Jacksonville would be so kind to us. Can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I had our first date at the Sea Turtle Inn in 1974. Can't wait to see the new place. We are looking forward to booking for our Anniversary!

We were greeted by the nicest young man, Nikk. He was so courteous and thoughtful in making my birthday a special one. Our room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The food was excellent. I can t wait to come back soon.

The resort was really more than I expected. Clean, very friendly staff and a few surprise services included such as ironing, shoe shine, etc.... I also didn't expect it to be as close to the water as it was, but there is a very nice beach not 100 yds from the resort. Very pleased with the experience.

Everything was above and beyond on our expectations! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness, respect and professionalism! We received bottles of water, and a sweet little box of delicious chocolates! We were there celebrating my birthday and received the kindest note and more chocolates in the room. Our room was stunning! We had a full living room, king bed and TWO balconies that were overlooking the ocean! The next morning we both enjoyed massages at the spa, that literally were the BEST messages we ve ever had (and we ve had a lot!). We enjoyed our time so much at the spa that we booked our return trip in April! I can t recommend enough! Truly a perfect get away!!

Nice hotel close to Atlantic Beach restaurants and shops. Friendly staff. Love that resort fee covers in room snacks and drinks. Downside is small pool area, but close proximity to beach is a plus. Shower curtain was a bit grimey in our bathroom, but otherwise the small room was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean.

Fantastic Service by Iain. Ambiance is very serene. Staff is super nice and warm.

Great spot for a girl's spa weekend or a romantic get away. The area right around the hotel has tons of great restaurants and unique little shopping boutiques. The service at One Ocean is unrivaled with a personal butler (can't recall what they call it) to get you ice, steam your clothes, turn your bed down or anything you could possibly need. 5 stars all around!

Enjoyed a relaxing spa day at One Ocean. The spa is beautiful and the view is perfect. Staff was very welcoming and kind, provided an overall great experience.

I've stayed here several times now and really enjoy this hotel. You cannot beat this location. Out of the front, you have quick access to an array of excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping. In the back, you can enjoy the ocean views while you work out or Wade in the pool while listening to the ocean. Take a few extra steps beyond the pool and you're on the beach. The rooms are updated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not every room is a full ocean view, so if that's your pleasure, make sure to request at booking. If you don't get an ocean view, you can literally walk out the back door and have toes-in-sand within seconds. Also a good spot for a small to mid range company conference with less than (~ 75attendees).

My husband has had work down in Jacksonville and we have been staying at One Ocean every other week for the past 4 months. We cannot say enough good things about it! The rooms are wonderful, the location couldn't be any better, and the staff is 5 stars! We started coming in March when quarantine first began and they were professional and kept us feeling safe the entire time. They always went out of their way to accommodate us. As a teacher, I was providing instruction remotely and they would let me into the conference room daily to have the fastest internet. We had a vacation planned in 30A next week and we cancelled it because we felt like it couldn't compare to our time at One Ocean. You can park your car upon arrival and you won't need it until you leave. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, you're right on the beach, they have a pool bar, spa, awesome fitness center, and so much more! A special thank you to Amber and Kaytee for making our time at One Ocean so wonderful!

Service was great. I felt they were short handed but it could have been more due the the planner of the company and not due to hotel. Food was great. I don't drink so I can not speak in the behalf of bar.
