I love this place I just left today but it was fun they have a pool and a good view of outside and the restaurant food is good too.

This hotel differentiates itself with customer service. All staff interactions were pleasant. Location is great. The rooms themselves were nice but nothing special for this price point. The biggest shortcoming to me was how small the bathrooms were. If you were sharing a room with someone and needed privacy or at all claustrophobic that would be a challenge as it was too small for me to get ready in with any comfort. Also the elevator situation is not ideal. They run slowly and you have to get on a different elevator to get all the way to the ground. I don't mind taking the stairs but would be a hassle for anyone who isn't able to and when you're leaving with all of your luggage. If the previously mentioned downsides are not a big deal then this is a good hotel option especially for people that value service.

Went to a party here, it was very nice except for when I got back to my car the trip odometer was reset so I wouldn't know how far it went and a quarter of the gas tank was gone. I'm never using valet service again.

What a horrible experience with One Ocean Resort and the Reservation Manager (Amber, who supposedly is in charge of the property if the General Manager is away). We came in from out of town and had made reservations through Priceline for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. The day of our arrival we called to see if we could get an early check in and we were told that our reservation had been cancelled by Priceline. Amber did say that they had a room on hold and that we could reserve it for a higher price than our initial reservation. We asked Amber to continue the hold so that we could speak to Priceline to figure out what happened. Priceline stated that they will not cancel a reservation unless the customer calls in and requests the cancellation. We find out that One Ocean Resort is the one that cancelled the reservation because they did not want to honor the rate, and that we were not the only ones that this has happened to. So ok, we will still give One Ocean another chance because it is a beautiful resort, we called Amber back and said we will reserve the room that she had on hold for us. Amber then tells us, sorry, we have no more rooms available. Totally unbelievable! Amber then becomes rude in trying to explain the situation and so I ask to speak with the General Manager. Amber tells me that she is the senior person on site and that the General Manager is not there. I said ok, well call him and have him call me. Amber says, all I can do is transfer you to his voicemail. So now we have no place to stay and all comparable hotels in the area are sold out!! We are just shocked that a resort can cancel your reservation and never notify you, just so they can turn around and try to make you pay a few more dollars. Then be rude to you about the whole situation and lie that Priceline is the one that cancelled the reservation. Very poor managing of a resort

The Spa was wonderful! The massage and facial I received was worth every penny!!

Beautiful hotel! Really nice room and very clean. Everything was wonderful for most part. Only negative I would say is the breakfast food was a little sub par. We did not eat dinner. Lunch was very good though

This hotel is in an amazing location and has an amazing and friendly staff! Shoutout to Tyler who made our experience truly incredible! This is also far and away the most dog friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. They offered to schedule dog walking as well as provided dogs bowls and a dog bed for our pups (there is a pet fee).

I went to the bar while visiting a guest. It has a nice atmosphere and the bartenders we're attentive without being annoying. The spirit options were somewhat limited and tended to be on the very pricey side. The beer options were fairly varied but $6 for one domestic beer seems a little high for me, thus the reduction of one star. Overall, this is a nice place to sit and have a drink, especially if you want to be comfortable and chat.

The hotel was nothing special. A few downsides are the small pool area, limited beach chair rentals, no Jacuzzi, absurdly expensive drinks ($15 House Wines, really?) and no balconies in the rooms. They also charge $30 a day for parking, $30 a day resort fee, and though proclaim to be inclusive charge for various other things. I lived in Jacksonville for 4 years and though I did enjoy my stay I would not go back. I would suggest 4 Points hotel on Jacksonville Beach over this any day.

It's all just smoke and mirrors. The room was super small. There was nothing special about it. Their lobby was fancy and the exterior of the building as well but customer service was mediocre. Meh.

We are locals and when we pick a place to eat and have drinks it is here. We have always been treated like family as are every guest to One Ocean. Christy, in the bar, is a master at drink making and knows how to make a person feel welcomed and pampered. You are guaranteed a top quality visit at One Ocean!

Have stayed here numerous times.Hotel is beautiful.Staff are very attentive.If I could say one negative, the price of cocktails at the lobby bar is to high.

If you are looking for a true luxury hotel spend the money and stay at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Spa. One Ocean is far from luxury.

Well check in was efficient they gave me my key and valet ticket when I stepped out of the car. The trick is getting to the room you need to take an elevator or stairs from the checkin desk to the actual elevator lobby. Then take those elevators to the lobby. The hotel itself is very nice to say the least. Looks well maintained and the rooms were great but like some have said the bathrooms are a little on the small side. The room was clean and the decor was appealing. The view of the place across the street blocked most of view of the beach or perhaps it was just the rooms on this side. This place seems to have a bunch of suit wearing folks wandering the halls. Seems like a great place to hang out. The hotel and room was a solid A+. Will be back.

Currently, one night into my stay. The service has been amazing. Everyone is kind and helpful. Only negatives: for the price and location room is a bit small and the morning coffee tastes burnt. Otherwise, wonderful stay and will be returning.

I couldn't park on property they want to car pool my car and keep my keys all night so they can move my car if need be very inconvenient and rude

Overall it was a good experience and nice amenities and great location! Our family of 4 went, would recommend more of a couples stay but there were other families there. Great to be able to just walk to the beach from your hotel.

I would say we would go back but would be more of a special occasion with my wife as a splurge, and only due to the location. That was the best thing going for the hotel. Was very disappointed by the lack of attention to our room with the cost we paid and the excessive resort fee.

This place is top notch. Everyone is friendly and remembers your name the entire stay. It felt like being at home while on vacation. Five star service the entire time. Jake at the valet was incredible and started the trip off right. Will be back very soon. Thank you!!

What an extraordinary experience! The staff is absolutely amazing: very attentive, passionate about providing an experience. The property is on the beach and offers exceptional ocean views. I spent hours on the balcony listening to the waves. I can't wait to go there for my next staycation! WOW!

I ve never actually stayed at the hotel, but I ve heard nice things about the rooms. This hotel also has the best hotel class & pricing, between Neptune Beach & Ponte Vedra Beach.

I ve visited the restaurant, bar & spa in the hotel many times. The food & service is always good. Being greeted by the staff outside the hotel & at the front desk upon entering and leaving the building is great. Excited for the next spa visit.

There are also other restaurants, tourist shops, clothing shops, a cigar shop & more, all within 1-3 blocks walk!

Being that it was a Saturday night, parking was very limited. The height of the dunes compared to the patio caused a severe lack of wind flow. The drinks were prepared well and fast, and the wait service was very attentive. Overall a great experience, good location. Only issues I had were unavoidable and unfixable.

The spa is incredible. There's a nice relaxing view of the water, a luxurious stream shower, invigorating whirlpool, and excellent professionals. Whenever we visit Jacksonville, I make sure to make an appointment!

Service was excellent and the room was perfect. I stayed over night after a company event that was hosted here as well. I plan to stay here for personal trips in the future.

I use to give this place a 5 start and this use to be my favorite place and I had recommended alot of visitors that stayed there but a decade later, seems like the quality and also the customer service have gone down the drain. Recent visit, was not as pleasant as it use to be, and unfortunately have to say this place definitely gone down in ranking due to bad customer service experience, lack of clean room and bathroom. And also staff still placing you in the room, where previous visitors have brought pets.

My husband and I celebrated our 20 year Anniversary at this resort. Staff made us feel very special for our weekend. A sweet note and chocolate strawberries and macarons were left were left for us in our room. Modern vibe and decor.

The hotel and its facilities were excellent, far beyond what I expected. The hotel was tasteful and well appointed, the restaurant and its staff were 5* in every manner. The service was truly intuitive. Ask for Anita to be your server in the restaurant as she was a true pleasure.

Great location and great stay! I left my bikini in my room and I was so worried I would not get it back. I called numerous times, starting to lose hope then Taylor reaches out and found it for me yesterday and I had it shipped overnight! I just received it today and I was so happy! Historic hotel with great employees. The rooms were nice but dated. Location is amazing being right on the beach. This is a hotel we will be staying at again when in Jacksonville.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay over all. But was told checking in there was complimentary drinks and snacks stocked in our room each day.
See on your website WiFi is free. Wasn't told there was a 27.00 parking fee each day. When checking out was handed a bill for 27.00 a day resort fee. This was for drinks, snacks, WiFi.
That isn't complimentary! When calling to speak to a manager, was given the run around.

Sadly had such a terrible experience.. the room was nasty, which is really unsettling due to the current pandemic going on. There was stains on the sheets, a hair ball in the shower wall, and the screws to the sliding glass door were hanging out we almost cut ourselves on . I was definitely expecting a different experience at this nice of a hotel than I received

Great hotel. Staff is courteous and accommodating to all of our needs, especially as a family with two toddlers. Food at the restaurant decent and reasonable. Location is fantastic right on the beach and pool is very comfortable with a bar and a small restaurant. I love the tables by the pool and the whole setting. Also the area is chock full of bars and restaurants and dives and ice cream and Walgreens and Publix and what not. Very easy to get everything we needed. Haven't had a chance to visit the spa but will do next time when we visit.

Parking is scarce unless you use the valet. Otherwise it has beachfront access, close to retail and restaurants, and friendly staff.

This place was beautiful! I am a local so I normally have no need for a hotel, but it was my best friend's birthday and she wanted to make it special. The hotel has an old hotel feel, not in a bad way but like in a classic movie sort of way. I'd definitely go here again should the need arise.

Awesome hotel and spa. I love the outdoor patio with the fire pit. And it's right on the beach. The South Beach decor is nice touch.

The building and entry is beautiful. The lay out was interesting. You can only valet with a $25 a day charge plus tipping. Rooms and beds were small. We had a leak in our room and couldn t get ahold of the front desk. To get ice you have to go to the front desk which is 2 elevators or an elevator & stairs to get to. Then to top it off there was a $25 resort fee. All in all I just wasn t that impressed.

Absolutely love this resort! Staff are super friendly, professionals no doubt. Can not say enough for these folks they made this whole vacation for us. The Chefs are top notch! Christmas dinner was absolutely phenomenal. This resort will be our go to every time we visit for sure.

Love your hotel. Stay there every time we go to Mayo Clinic. I have had your awesome massages. Beautiful and so relaxing. Felt like a Queen. Everyone is so happy and helpful. Even the Valet guys are wonderful. Thank you all for a great, relaxing time. Will be back.

Spent several nights a One Ocean Resort. Rooms and service was great. My wife had a wonderful experience in the spa. The beach was nice and quiet, and very relaxing.
