I had expected to have a positive experience at this hotel, that s why I picked it over staying at the Mariott down the street (I had always thought Omni stood for great customer service). However, my actual experience was quite different. Reasons for this are quite numerous. The room walls are paper thin. Kids in adjacent room were screaming their heads off all morning, so I was awoken prematurely really early in the morning. The bath tub s drain was totally blocked so it felt like I took a shower in a swimming pool and not in a tub. Hotel itself is pretty dated and is in major need of a remodel. Breakfast was very basic, the fruit seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Staff was not very friendly. Most of the girls were a little stoic. I didn t really feel very welcome. Also, I called the reception desk once during my stay. The reception girl said front desk . I replied hello, how are you doing? The girl didn t even say anything back! I guess this fits in with the fact that the staff at his hotel are a little stoic. This was my only time at an Omni, it s probably going to be my last after this experience. MAYBE I ll try another Omni in a different city, definitely not staying in this one again.

The website did not state that we would be sharing a Balcony with other guests of the hotel, and we did, which was very unfortunate. The Website also didn't say that we would have to pay an extra 42 dollars for over night Valet Parking. Overall the experience was okay, the staff was very nice, the room was a little smaller than expected. Would not recommend to a friend for the price.

The staff at the front desk were very professional and friendly which is why I gave two stars instead of one. Besides that I did not have a pleasant experience. I had to go to the front desk twice during my 2 night stay. On the first day my key card deactivated because it must of been too close to another electronic in my purse that caused it to go out. I really don t understand this part, where else am I suppose to keep my card besides my purse/wallet. It s 2020 and maybe a little investment in your technology would change this inconvenience. Second day because they didn t know I was checked in another night so they deactivated my card. Even though when I checked in they supposedly combined the two separate reservations I had to make because I was unable to contact Expedia to extend my current reservation and The Omni would not help since I booked through a third party. On the morning of day one I left all dirty towels on the bathroom floor along with the sign they asked to leave on the bed if I would like the sheets changed. I came back around midnight and house keeping never came, all day no one came. With us being a family of 4 in the room of course we had used all of towels so I called the front desk and they did bring some. Along with new sheets that we had to change ourselves, they did not offer to change them just dropped them off at the front door. After visiting San Antonio this is not a hotel I will ever book at again. They have a lot of other options to offer.

I would recommend and or have future stay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, very quite location. The hotel's entry ambience is breath taking and customer service was at a high no long wait for requests. On arrival it was difficult to find hotel's entrance. Beautiful facility.

We had a blast! Just came to get away and hang out at the pool with the kids. The indoor/outdoor pool is great. Breakfast/room service was pricey for a family of 5. But there is plenty to eat very close! Everyone was helpful and we enjoyed our stay!

If you want to feel at home while away from home, this is the place for you. The staff, particularly, the wait staff at breakfast is the best in the business. While the hotel has an overall business friendly feel about it, the waitstaff at breakfast will make you feel like you're in your mother's kitchen.

Attended a company Christmas party, the staff was too busy wanting to clean up that they didn't take under consideration that people were still eating their food and drinking their drinks; some came back to their tables cleared of everything. The food served was not very good, the vegetables were over steamed and the meat was undercooked. The restrooms weren't returned to at all; a majority of the stalls didn't have turnout toilet paper.

Hotel seems kind of old, I expected it to be nicer since it's an Omni. Room was small, and was supposed to have a view, which ended up being of the highway. There was someone in the lobby playing piano which was a really nice touch. Maybe the other rooms are nicer.

Staff is courteous and professional, great location and the kids enjoyed the movie experience by the pool! I was a little disappointed in the quality of the water/ odor of the outside hot tub but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Nice staff and a great place to host conferences. Our was very well organized. I also know that our conference was put together last minute due to hurricane Harvey damage at original location in Houston. Despite that fact, it was a well oiled machine.

BEWARE!! UNTRUSTWORTHY STAFF!! This hotel prides itself on a 4-star rating but I have to give them ZERO STARS. Unprofessional management leads to no accountability for staff members and no consideration for customer service. I cannot stress enough how very DISSATISFIED I am with the overall management of this hotel. The situation my group and I experienced is as follows: We had an out-of-town guest staying at this very hotel. My group and I put together a really nice gift basket with gourmet foods and much more set up in his hotel room. We find out the maid working in this room intentionally takes the basket with her. The guest was not checking out of the hotel. Hotel staff knew he wasn't leaving for a few days considering they were checking him in!! So, we notify management that this basket is missing and they "tell" the maid to bring back the basket. Instead. they send back this pathetic basket full of cheap snacks.. not even close to what we had in the original basket. When we complained, the manager told us "I don't even want to look at the basket. Can we just get over it?" I pride myself for the work I do in the customer service industry and I can say that how this maid (staff member) acted in an irresponsible, careless, unprofessional manner is a reflection of the competence of its management. Management handled this situation POORLY. They only offered our guest a complimentary night out of his entire stay. The hotel was not empathetic to our needs because nothing was reimbursed. Neither was the maid reprimanded, but instead management sided with her, and we are overall DISSATISFIED with the hotel. Personally, it seems like they shrugged our concern, a brush-it-under-the-rug attitude, because it was "just a basket." I'm sure a 4-star hotel can buy a new gift basket like it's a penny drop in the bucket. We are embarrassed and feel like the gift for our guest was STOLEN and replaced with a trash bag of irrelevant items. There was detail and time put into this gift that management was not empathetic to. The fact that this incident occurred says a lot about its management. I hope an executive of this hotel can reach out to us and consolidate their reputation because as of now, they are receiving a terrible review.

Great Room super friendly staff!! Great for the kids! Indoor outdoor pool, you can have some adult beverages while you lounge by the pool and it s a pet friendly hotel. Good location by great restaurants and about 15 minutes from fiesta Texas!

This hotel is awesome! Pool facilities are very nice...not found in many hotels (outdoor lap swimming, in/out pools, and in/out hot tubs that actually work and water temps hot). Very nice outdoor pool facility. Gym is great addition with free weights, kettle bells, adjustable bench, smith machine, cable machine, treadmills, one stationary bike, and two ellipticals. King size bed is to die for!!! (Very comfy). This hotel has everything!!! P.S. the station that served hot cocoa was surprisingly on point. Don't miss it if they are there!

Me, and my girlfriend came to stay for 5 days and 4 nights. Everyone was really welcoming as if it were you are the only one they are serving. Not a one person walked by me without saying hello, or ask I'm doing good, every staff member treated me like I was very important! We had a issues with the air conditioning in our room, went to talk to the front desk to have it addressed not even 15 mins later a gentleman came in and repaired it. TOP NOTCH SERVICE! If you're looking for a high class place to stay this is it!

I booked a month ago got a confirmation for a king size. Got there and apparently they ran out of king size even though that's what my confirmation said I would get. Also breakfast isn't free nor is it cheap. Not worth staying here find a different place that keeps track of their guest's bookings and offers free breakfast.
Also they use really rough toilet paper it really sucks for my bum :/

Everything went very well, no complaints here! The rooms are always in great order and there are plenty of amenities like soap and shampoo. Having an easily accessible power strip is just one example of why I'll be coming back whenever I'm in town.

Nice relaxed hotel. Easy in and out. No excessive number of people at the door doing whatever they do. Close to only a handful of restaurants, so beware. Rooms are ok. A little older, in general, but clean and comfortable. Nice pool and hot pool. Would recommend for a midsize to small conference.

We were booked to stay here and upon arrival I realized there was a miscommunication on my part to my travel agent so this hotel wasn't going to work. I was booked for 6 nights which means like most places I figured we would have to pay a cancellation fee. This hotel was great, they understood the mistake (on my part) and refunded my money in full. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff was very polite and extremely helpful while I was there!

Very nice hotel great location, BUT!!!!!! My family and I made a 4 hour drive this weekend, we were a bit tired, as all road trips are tiring, we had a late dinner so all we wanted to do when we got back to the hotel was to enjoy the nice evening, we were given permission by an employee to sit around the lounge area outside as long as no one got in the pool and of course we understood. We were laughing having a great time enjoying our stay enjoying the night UNTIL out of no where an employee approaches us in a very demanding tone that we needed to exit the area immediately, touching our personal belongings giving us a speech of hotel policies, about fines and what not, all we did was get our stuff responded with a Yes sir ok thank you, we exited the area and we went back to our rooms, our fun was cut short by the employee. He made it seem to us that he was part of management now we know that he wasn't , he was extremely rude and in no shape or form management material, he made us feel very unwelcome. Second my room was clean but not clean per say there was a dirty sock that I assumed belonged to whom ever had stayed there before us, I left a note for room service letting them know of issues i had notice. it was from our remote note working the faucet in vanity was loose about the dirty sock that was in closet, I can only assume that my note was not only ignored but thrown away. Dirty sock was still in same place, faucet was loose, we had to tap remote to make it work, were left with no replacement for coffee no shampoo no soap , one cup in restroom as if room service had ran out of items to replace the ones we had used. We were 3 families that were looking forward to the stay but based on our experience with the gentleman and our rooms its a hotel in question to return to and a hotel that I wont be recommending to family and friends

My wife and I had a great time enjoying our honeymoon for the first weekend of April 2017!

We had booked our rooms online and had booked two nights about a month in advance. Originally, we were going to stay one night, but we decided to enjoy ourselves for one extra night.

Check-in was painless even though we had two different bookings made. They even let us stay in the same room.

After getting into our room, we were greeted with a strawberry dessert and bottle of champagne laying next to a card signed by the Omni staff congratulating me and my wife's marriage. My wife and I don't drink, but we took the bottle as a sentimental gift and loved the strawberries.

At first glance everything seemed great; however, I do wish the room included a microwave and an empty refrigerator.

Anyways, the house cleaning team was amazing. Never saw them and they always did a spot on job.

The lobby and other guest were presentable.

Parking was somewhat convenient depending on the time of day, but no matter where we parked we still had a ways to walk to the hotel. It definetly seemed that way since it did rain.

The pools, sauna, and workout room were great and clean! However, the indoor hot tub was broken for our entire stay. Real let down. But, the cucumber water in the workout room was refreshing.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is pretty easy to get to. I wish the Omni would have offered shuttle, but it is okay.

All in all, we will try to spend our anniversary in 1905 next year!
