I absolutely LOVED staying at this hotel. I went down to San Antonio for my birthday last year and at the last minute decided to stay for the night. I was hesitant about spending so much on a room but I was so pleased with the whole experience and now I am an Omni convert! The room was spacious and comfortable, I LOVED the comforter and linens! I am a stickler about clean linens that don't feel like thin layers of foam or smell like cigarettes, so I love that sleeping here felt like sleeping in my own bed. It is a little ways away from Downtown, but it is only a quick can ride away and well worth it!

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beds are comfy and the rooms are nice sized.

I booked a room here at the omni from mon-fri. you would think that they would have much better service then a 1 or 2 star hotel but they do not, its worse! first our ac was not working right, we checked in and gave it 8 whole hours before we complained then when we called to tell them the ac was not working right they sent up a fix it man to tell us that everything was fine (even though we had it on 60 the entire time and it was on the entire time but the room was still hot and stuffy) so the repair man says " i can open it up and see if there is a problem but that would take hours, so would you guys just want to change rooms" so we agreed to the room change since it was already midnight and we could not fall asleep with the heat and our other room ac was fine. so then the next day housekeeping knocks on our door about 5 times in 2 hours, we keep telling them we are fine then we finally put the privacy hanger on the doorknob so we wont be bothered. then the next day we are locked out of our room we try various times to open the door but its not working so we go down to the front desk and she says "did yall have the keys near a phone or magnetic structure" we say no and that we have tried several times then she asks for my id and fixes my key and no "im sorry" or anything. Then when we got up to the room housekeeping had not been there yet and we were out from 10am-3 30pm. So i call up guest services and tell her everything that has happened and the manager on duty "Felicia" appologizes and says well our housekeeping has until 6 that i can tell them if I wanted a certain time. And then tells me "i cant give u a refund or discount since you booked through a third party but I can provide a meal for you and your family" I tell her "its just me and my husband and yes dinner and breakfast would be nice" since we were checking out the next day anyway. Then she says "well I can provide you for one meal do you want dinner or breakfast" REALLY that is how a "high class" hotel treats their customers? I do not recommend that anyone who wants good (not great or extraordinary either just plain old good) service stay here, its not worth the money and every time you have a complaint they will try to make you feel like you are wrong.I hate it so much I want to check out early even though I prepaid but Im not gunna let it ruin mine and my husbands time away from the kids, we have stayed here twice and had only minor complaints the first time but not like this. I have never written a bad review about anything but this bad service people really need to know about it. Dont waste your money!!!

i saved money during our stay because of the free breakfast and free dinner. you can't find that offer anywhere close to the vicinity of the riverwalk. room and bathroom is clean and that's what's important. front desk staff are great and friendly.

Had a wonderful time here. Had a problem with my booking as I booked through a 3rd party. The front desk promptly dealt with it and upgraded our room even though it did not take much extra time. Also, they delivered a birthday cake to my room after noticing it was my birthday when i handed my ID over during check in, didn't even ask. Fantastic service and consierge. Hotel was comfortable. Lobby with nice with a small but cool bar. Didn't go to the pool but looked to be a pretty good size. Rooms were comfortable with good beds. Would highly reccomend staying here especially for the price!

Absolutely lovely!!!!! I couldn't have been treated better, like royalty! Everything from Express check in to Express check out was great! I was there for a Carmelite Congress. Highly recommend this for personal and business functions.

Very nice hotel but a bit pricey too. We booked a double bed room for one night during spring break for $229. Upon checkin, the front desk staff and manager were friendly and accomodating. They told us that they do movie night by the pool for the kids. We were on the 15th floor. Room was clean and the beds were firm. They have a mini bar in the room but no separate fridge or freezer (a problem when you are bottle feeding a baby). Wi-Fi is available for free if you sign up for their Rewards program. It doesn't cost anything to sign up. Gift shop in the lobby offers many items you may have forgotten at home. Indoor and outdoor pools looked fun but we didn't use them. They have a coffee bar in front of their restaurant which we did use offering a pretty good selection of lattes, coffee and tea. The caramel macchiato is delicious. Ordered a late dinner from the bartender in the lobby and brought it up to our room to eat. The menu is similar to what they offer in-room but without the 20% service charge. Bartender that night seemed to hate his job because he wasn't as friendly as the front desk staff and manager.

Went for a special mothers day brunch. The food was good but it was definitely a bit too pricey.

The hotel staff was friendly enough. The room was not the cleanest and the furniture was beat up. Needs an update. You could find a better value of hotel for the price you are paying here.

The staff was amazing and attentive very nice and spacious rooms the colonnade area where hotel is located was nice, two nice pools, restaurants and much more my only regret is not getting to stay longer. I will definitely be staying here again when visiting San Antonio this is my new go to hotel, the staff was really quick when I needed extra towels and blankets I really appreciated that.

My family has just returned from a vacation in San Antonio. We stayed at the Omni Colonade for the first time. I have to say we have never had a hotel be so accommodating as this one. The staff was amazing, so helpful and personable, really making us feel so welcome. They provided complimentary transportation to and from the airport and other places nearby for our entire stay. Richard the concierge went far beyond his role in helping us plan our day w maps, info, transportation and was so thoughtful that he gave each of us new umbrellas on a day it was supposed to rain. The hotel also has 2 pools, spa, exercise room and restaurants. We used all of them which added to our fun filled trip! The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet w made to order omelettes or waffles. My little granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool so much it was hard to get her out of it even to take her to Seaworld! My husband and I relaxed in the hot tub after a long day of walking. I can t say enough about this hotel and its fantastic staff. If you are in the San Antonio area this is the place to stay! 5 Stars and beyond!! Truly San Antonio s BEST!

This was the first time that me and my family have ever stayed at this hotel. Angie was able to accommodate me and my family and have my parents room right next to our room. It made it very easy for our 2 little girls (2 & 7yrs), to go back and forth from our room to my parents room. The hotel staff were very welcoming and professional, and made our experience one that we will never forgot. I plan on making this my hotel of choice whenever me and my family visit San Antonio. Very satisfied customer.

We are locals and love eating in their restaurant. The buffet is lovely and staff excellent. Well worth the price.

I ve stayed in other Omni hotels before and I ve loved the experience! Except for this one! The staff weren t friendly or welcoming. The mini bar fridge didn t work well. I did love the lobby restaurant s staff and breakfast buffet. I will continue to stay in the Omni hotels except this one.

this is an older Omni hotel but well appointed period The staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful, and very professional. our association has already voted to hold our convention here for the next two years. That should send a message if you are looking for a place to hold your convention or business function.

It's a very nice and comfortable hotel for everyone. Has a very nice pool, sauna, gym and the the attention of the hotel staff is very good.

Claims to be pet friendly far from that travelled hundreds of miles to a very unprofessional manager that clearly should not be in the profession. If you love your pet's consider another location .

Enjoyable, the piano bar was magical when it got popular at night, loads of quiet and enjoyable conversation with nellow, pleasant music in the background.

Clean rooms, slightly small bathroom for the price (might just be me), and a well-stocked gym.

Oh, and the pool is pretty nice, seperate jacuzzi too.

the first room we had, the bed was terrible and broken in so much that it sunk in the middle. they upgraded our room. the next room we got we went to use the in room coffee maker and it started to spew boiling hot water all over the place! we didn't want to go through the trouble of changing rooms AGAIN, but we did call the front desk and they advised to call in the morning to let the office manager know of the issue. disappointing to have two different rooms have different issues. everything was also disconnected (the TV and several lamps weren't plugged in)

Stay here for one night . it is a large hotel in a good locations. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was nice but small. It was clean but needs to be renovated. The facility there are great. A great indoor and outdoor pool, the sauna was very nice. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous interior. I was just there for a job fair, but the next time I go out of town, Omni will be my top choice.

Great service and atmosphere. I was not happy with the food or drink. Bartender was overwhelmed and you has to wait to long to order even food.

Cleand and presentable rooms. Good restaurant and bar downstairs . Its a little nice escape from the busy city. Will come back again.

It was a gorgeous hotel, stayed for four nights, but the WiFi in the lobby was better than in the room (and cheaper, free WiFi was not included) and the bathroom was terrible, took 3 flushes just for a tissue. Staff was great, bed was incredibly comfortable.

Awesome Hotel!! The lady that helped me with the reservation took the time to listen that it was my wife s birthday. We came to the room and there was some birthday cake and a letter signed by all the staff. Really cool:)

The location is excellent and convenient. The ball room is nice and spacious. The cafe they have is more expensive then starbucks.overall it was a very nice hotel.

The staff was top notch, but the rooms were quite basic and poorly kept, especially by Omni standards.

The staff offered excellent, friendly service. The room was on a high floor and was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool and sauna added fun on a cold day.

We have been staying at the Omni in San Antonio and Austin for years. The service and quality of the rooms is top notch. We recommend Omni to everyone we know traveling to San Antonio. It is also an added benefit that they are pet friendly.

Beautiful lobby area with attached bar. Rooms were very spacious with good views. The largest letdown for this property were my shower and the bed linens. The shower was significantly dated and poorly functioning, not matched to the beauty of the rest of the hotel. The bed linens were also not the most plush for a luxury branded hotel, despite the pillows and mattress being excellent. Our room was very tidy and clean. There was plenty of surface parking available, and the hotel was easy to get in and out of. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool area. A good area hotel.

I was in town scouting out office locations for my law firm and this is where I stayed. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but the room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The location is convenient for travelers and getting downtown is fast.

I will preface this by saying I was only at the hotel for a social event in one of the ballrooms and did not actually stay in a room at the hotel. The lobby, bathrooms, and ballroom were kept very clean and staff were very attentive to our needs. The ballroom was a lot smaller than I expected since the dance floor was only about 10 by 15 ft (very rough estimate), but there was enough space in the room itself for 80+ guests to sit and carefully walk around.

Good location great I mean great beds and centrally located.

Always a great place to stay,they have a party every Friday & Saturday night.
