I travel A LOT and I can tell you without hesitation that this hotel is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Unfortunately, I needed help from security so I asked for their help. This big black guy emerged from some break room with half a doughnut hanging from his collar and just stood there staring at me as if I was teaching him calculus in Latin. Need less to say, he didn't understand what I was saying so nothing was resolved. Maybe it's bc I left my coloring book and Crayons at home. Side note, the valets are worthless as well. I wish DNS would pay them a visit!!
Door staff was attentive and warm. The lobby is beautiful!
Wonderful hotel. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and room service have great quality food. Love the Plaza attached- you can walk around and get food or just enjoy the patio. Didn t go to pool but it looked amazing from my window. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles. All of the staff greeted me and treated me very favorably. I was very impressed with the Warmness of the staff from the valet man all the way up to housekeeping services. I would definitely come back to this hotel again.
Perfect location in downtown. Close to metro stations. A shuttle cab that will take u anywhere within 3 mile radius for free. 1 min walk to a shopping plaza. Good customer service. Parking fee is high. No fridge in the rooms but can rent one. No free WiFi. But u can get free WiFi if u become a loyalty member. Hotel is clean and rooms are well kept. Rooms do have a good view. Food is expensive but u can receive service in the room
This is the only hotel I will stay in when in downtown LA or nearby.
Excellent hotel for business guests coming into the city.
Good Hotel. Clean. Simple. Good AC in the room. Upgraded electronics with USB ports. Perfect for an above average but below luxury hotel
Nice clean rooms. Spacious. Close to the convention center which is what I was looking for.
I had a great night. Everyone was nice and helpful.
Loved our stay.
We stayed for 2 nights with our kids on the way to Vegas.
Our rooms were a very good size and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only down side was the price of food and drinks on the menus, but it is L.A.
There is a market for great food and a mini mart for goodies if needed within walking distance though.
Stayed a Omni LA at California Plaza the night before a mental health public speaking gig at nearby Belmont High School. I knew I'd be totally stressed out driving in rush hour traffic to get to the high school before the assembly.
Omni spoiled me. While rewriting and practicing my speech, I ordered room service and took breaks by watching a movie and streaming video. Used the business center to print out my revised speech for free.
Loved the delicious food delivered to my room. Mussels and salad. Creme brulee. Chandon Rose mini. Breakfast sandwich.
Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Treat yourself to a stay at Omni.
Great staff and outstanding rooms. Be prepared for valet parking only and that extra cost.
Came here for their AYCE brunch at Grand Cafe. The quality & food options has gotten a lot better. It's a bit pricey due to the seafood option but there's bottomless mimosa. $55 per person
This is a great place to stay and use as a base for seeing all of Los Angeles. The beach was a 20 minute drive and we loved seeing so many lovely sights to include the Bradbury Building. The restaurant was good and the bar fun and lively. The piano man makes it all fun. The room and service are outstanding. I shall return.0
Great service and an okay selection of brunch but not an ideal place for some real healthy food. Had an oatmeal with some fresh blackberries and raspberries, salad, miso soup and eggs and chicken sausages. The chicken sausage was not cooked well as it was tough to chew and the salmon was dry. Might be a taste bud for some people out there that like it just the way it is but not for me. The selection for the food itself was limited.
No mini fridge available in the room. I requested one with the front desk and it was brought to my room but it never got cold. There was no free wifi available for guests, I find that to be odd. When i stayed here last year there were cookies and milk left in the room for the kids and I was disappointed that it didn't happen this year. We couldn't connect to Netflix on the TV so we were let down with that. I keft receiving declines from my credit card due to the hotel on 2 separate occasions submitting charges on my card; one for over $500 and the other for over $700. When I called the front desk they didn't know what I was talking about but I have 2 emails from my credit card. Also, every time a day passed we got less towels and had to request more every morning. Other than that we loved our stay.
This 4.5 star hotel is located near 101 freeway and in a relatively safe and classy area in the heart of downtown Los Angels. The parking is not easy unless you pay for valet. It was 13 dollars for me and less than I expected. The building and design, are very modern, big, and classic too. It is very quiet and spacious inside, so you feel a good sense of peace and relaxation.
However, it is so close to the building and structure next to it on the back side, so you can see through the open area and glass to the next door neighbor. You will be confused about the food court next door, and mistakenly consider that they are part of the hotel!
As a consequence, I was wondering how come the 4.5 star hotel, suddenly has a 2.0 food court on the second floor? Also, the patio area on the 3rd floor, it is also open and connected to the street.
If you want to stay in a more excluded hotel, then this hotel is certainly not for you.
Really enjoyed my stay. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet all you could ask for and the piano bar/patio perfect place to wind down & decompress in the evening
Incredible service, even at 2am. Bellhop/Valet Brian was exceptional, and the room was squeaky clean and gorgeous. The breakfast buffet is a pretty solid choice, especially if you get the package price. I recommend to anyone coming to LA for any reason
Great room service, very well located. Great pool and gym.
Nice location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay in is the staff. All of them are so professional. They could accommodate fast. Our stay was awesome. Five-star service!
The rooms are 5 stars, beds are soft with huge pillows and a great place to relax.
The cleaning service is very bad and loving the attention
I was here for a Google event. The staff was super friendly. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms we were in we're fabulously well designed and decorated. I enjoyed the bar service which was prompt and friendly too. If you plan on hosting and event - this hotel is perfect
A great location and very clean environment. Will continue to stay at this location when I visit Los Angeles.
Service was great, I had the room service and it was great. Good location (walking distance to a lot of cool museums and stuff). Breakfast buffet wasn't the greatest but there are plenty of other options nearby.
The hotel staff at this hotel is horrible.
Problem #1 We went in for a wedding and everyone was charged a different amount for parking $15, $25, and $45. How is that possible?
Problem #2 We booked 11 rooms for the weeding party and they gave us a WHOOPING DISCOUNT of $7 dollars each room. Yes that s right $7 dollars per room.
Their explanation for this was these problems were that the wedding party had signed a contract and agreed to the terms.
Everyone I spoke to from the valet guy to the front desk employee, to the hotel manager, to the corporate office was RUDE. They do not understand what customer service means. They think they can treat people like crap and get away with it.
I highly recommend not staying here or at any other OMNI.
Staff was very nice. Did not have many amenities but overall nice stay.
Staff was great. Tv remote didnt control the power, channel, or volume in Room (1243) Room 547 (I think) smelled like cat pee.
I just met some friends who were staying here at a cafe where they had just finished breakfasg, the waitstaff let me eat my (outside) leftovers and brought water for me.
We had a very satisfying stay in this hotel a week ago. The place was very conducive for those people who want to get relaxed. The view from the room to the outside was very nice especially if you are on higher floors. Amazing!
Great room with a great view. I would stay there again. Actually might spend more time there soon. The only down side is parking is $49 for the night.
Noe Restaurant was great. Check Groupon for specials!
I always feel like a VIP at this hotel! Thank you You Clark
A nice hotel with clean enviroment located in Los Angelese city
The food was decent but the service was dismal. We were handed off several times to various servers, seemingly overlooked a few times. The food, while delicious, took way too long to get to our table. Overall, not worth the extra cost for subpart service, which is a shame considering the food was good.
Went to the restaurant/bar for a wedding after party. The staff was pleasant and quick
This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. I go to a lot of conferences and their banquet staff is the friendliest and most accommodating of special needs I have ever encountered. The food in the restaurant and bar was excellent, as was the service. A nice touch was that they had fresh apples in the lobby for guests.
I'm very happy with the quality and service I received.
I went to the Omni Downtown for drinks with a friend. The valet service is absolutely amazing and very affordable!
I went to the Grand Cafe to take advantage of their lunch buffet. Food was good and service was excellent. I definitely recommend this if you need something quick and convenient.
Great location right next to museums/galleries lile the MOCA, The Broad, Disney Concert Hall. Also in walking distance to the Grand Central Market. The hotel itself is immaculate, classy, clean, and has a calm and luxurious atmosphere.
I had a wonderful stay here! The staff does a great job to make people feel at home and the accomidations are top notch!
This was a great hotel at a great price! We truly made the right choice for our mini-conference. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Management and staff definitely went out of their way to make this a pleasant stay for us. What a nice place to relax and enjoy. I will be recommending your Hotel to everyone here in our area!
Had brunch and food was ok. I ordered steak and eggs and had to send the steak back as it came out well done. 2nd time was much better. Drinks at hotel bar we're good but overly expensive.
Nice hotel, but for the price there are some nicer options downtown. Location is ideal if going to museums or Civic center, or working near Bunker Hill.
Only 8 minutes away from Dodgers Stadium. No traffic from hotel to the stadium which is priceless. Nice hotel. We stayed when the Colorado Rockies stayed. So apparently MLB teams stay here. We ordered room service because they do not have refrigerators in the rooms.
Do carefully check the departure bill and subsequent credit card statements. My own credit card was only supposed to be charged incidental expenses (with room and the associated taxes billed directly to the corporate travel agency the firm used for travel arrangements), yet when I checked out everything was charged to my credit card. It has been a nightmare since then trying to get the hotel to reverse these charges, even though I complained immediately at the time of the checkout. The promised charge reversal, however, has yet to arrived after nearly a week.
Room I stayed in was nice.. service was good but parking is pricey
Very nice! Great value for the location and amenities offered. Would be better with a mini fridge. But totally worth it, even without!
Great hotel great service. Not so great room service. If I m paying more than 20$ for fried chicken it should be good and not fried from a frozen state. The rooms need a bit maintenance. But overall it was a great experience and well priced.
Orange water in the lobby was a small but welcoming gesture. Friendly staff, extremely convenient location. Grand central market is a five minute walk, the broad museum is also within walking distance.
Loved my stay here,
Super clean, comfortable, safe (Covid wise) and everyone were really helpful.
We asked for the top floor and that was what we got plus a great view.
I think it is very good it was national chocolate chip cookie day and they gave out free cookies!!
Nice room, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet. Didn't get to check out the garden but it looked cute from above. Thanks!
The personnel is Very corteous and the food is delicious
Great location! Superb service and the food was awesome!!!
Had an excellent stay at the Omni Hotel Los Angeles. I was in LA for a concert (Snarky Puppy!!) at the LA Philharmonic which is basically behind and one street up from the hotel. Check-in was fast, the staff everywhere I went was very pleasant and helpful. On Saturday evening before the concert I had an appetizer outside at the Noe Bar and everyone made sure I was warm and comfortable. I walked by myself to the Philharmonic and felt totally safe. The next day I left my luggage with the front desk and made an impromptu visit to the Broad Contemporary Art Museum. My room was on the 10th floor, one door down from the elevator and I didn't hear a peep! I'm usually very noise sensitive. Had brunch at the Grand Cafe and it was delicious. Note that there is a hefty parking fee, but it's the same wherever you go downtown. This is a great property with lots of very nice amenities and within walking distance to museums and chic restaurants. I'm definitely coming back!
My time that was spent at the Omni Plaza was relaxed, comfortable, and wonderful, as it was the last time I stayed at the hotel. The hotel personnel, and everyone connected were extremely helpful, and thorough. I give the Omni 2 thumbs up, and 5 stars...thanks a lot Los Angeles.
I've stayed at the Omni in LA three times, and it's always been very good. Plus, it seems to get better every time I go. I used room service for the first time on this trip. The food was quite good, better than most hotels I've stayed at.
Great stay! Room was clean with nice decor. Would highly recommend this hotel if you're in the LA area.
Very nice hotel, good location downtown, great staff.
Very classy and clean. Upscale. Good catering and good for large events.
Nice hotel in great downtown LA location. Friendly staff especially Amy. Had some issues with their car service but Richard prompted addressed them. Gym is clean but very warm in there. Definitely a great hotel and would stay again!
The grand cafe has an incredible buffet at an incredible price. Bottomless mimosas, a wide spectrum of cuisine, and macaroons!
Nice lobby, but parking attendants were not so professional
The valet service was awesome everyone was very courteous and helpfull. The hotel dining area is amazing.
