The staff at the Omni CNN building was amazing. The valet and front desk staff were friendly, professional, and fast. My husband and I made a big mistake with the date we needed to check in and De Andrea helped us beyond belief. We were so nervous and upset thinking we wouldn t have a place to stay for the night and De Andrea was so friendly and funny and really helped us out. We had an amazing stay and the room and hotel were beautiful. Thanks!!!
Not enough sitting. Some places have higher then normal prices.
Overall, the hotel is nice. Valet parking is way too expensive, and charged DAILY, at $45. The room would never get comfortable. It stayed above 75 degrees the entire time, and despite my complaints, was never fixed, which made it very difficult to sleep.
Great experience. One usually has more to say when something is wrong.
I am staying here now 4/7/18 What a disappointment. I have stayed here in the past and always loved it. First class. This time room is not as clean. Room service has left a food tray outside my door for about 24 hours. Furniture in my room is not in the nicest condition. Carpets are wrinkled. Very Disappointed. We come for a yearly convention. I will definitely be looking for other accommodations.
I have been blessed to travel all over the world and my experience on 3/23/2019 with the Omni Hotel Valet Staff and service is the WORST I ve experienced. Numerous patrons, as well as myself, waited over TWO hours to get our vehicles. This was a SATURDAY. Missed flights, appointments, etc. all due to disorganization and lack of protocol. My advice is to park ANYWHERE other than the OMNI and walk, UBER, TAXI, whatever. You ll get results faster than using their Valet service. I would give a negative star if there was that option.
Most everything was good. Service, comfort, cleanliness. The place is just a little outdated and worn for the price you pay.
Fast and friendly check-in. Excellent room in the North tower (newer) with partial view of the park. Valet parking - takes a little while to get your car, so call and then give it 15 min or so.
Definitely the least hospitable hotel I've ever been to. Won't hold anything at the front desk for someone to pickup because they "may lose it", charges a "fee" for taking luggage to your room because "if we help you out, you gotta help us out". Front desk doesn't answer the phone. Unbelievable.
Beautiful hotel, excellent service. Every staff member has such pride in the hotel. Highly recommend.
The lines are always super long and the place is very fast paced
I had a great experience. Nice rooms and service. Definitely will be back.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is generally clean. Could use some updates.
You will need to ask for more linens, need to supply coffee cups for Keurig and also be clear on parking prices. Room was clean, comfortable and great location but it's the small things that you remember.
Haven't stayed at either but the food courts were convenient and clean for conventions
Just walked through, a lot of people were hanging out in the bar area. Looked fun
This is a nice hotel. I felt very safe while I was there. The attached restaurant had really delicious food and the attached bar had excellent drinks. Calvin the bartender was my favorite! There is also a food court attached to the complex which is nice. Chick-fil-A for days!!
Neat hotel, very downtown of Atlanta. Ok service. There is a lot of noise from events in Olympic Park though. In general, price / quality ratio is Ok.
Everything was located so close to our conference. It was very convenient.
The hotel is generally nice; however, it's under a massive reconstruction at the moment. Due to this, there are some slight issues, but the staff is doing their best to accommodate everyone.
I was attending an event in the ballroom which was nice. The only real issue I had was that there didn't seem to be a bathroom on the same floor. I don't know if there just isn't one on that floor or if it was blocked off because of the event. Either way, it was rather inconvenient.
Flawless service, big beautiful rooms, highly recommended!
Very nice place! The event is nice . Granddaughter is having a blast!!
Clean room, easy check-in process even though there were hundreds of people checking-in in the same time frame.
Nice rooms but for the price the customer service needs to be retrained
Overall, it's not too bad. You can hear a lot in the adjacent rooms comma because of the door between the rooms. It seems as though Heating and Cooling the room with the amount of humidity in the area is a bit difficult. However, the staff is very accommodating, and this makes up for a lot of whatever deficiencies there might be.
Had some heating issues. Room 1420. Overall the service was wonderful.
Based off of reviews I gave this place a shot but it is not worth the money. I got a king size bed and it didn't even have a fitted sheet on the mattress, just 2 flat sheets barely hanging onto the bed. Plus there's a $45 parking fee for every night you stay, which is beyond ridiculous. Over priced for a basic and outdated hotel room.
I don t even know where to begin on our horrible experience here this weekend. It began by taking at least 45 minutes just to be able to give our car to the valet, as they were so backed up with that. Next there was a long line for checking in, and at 3:30 we were told they did not have any rooms ready, and didn t know when they would be...they would call us. Meanwhile our event started at 5 pm. We waited a while, and ended up pulling out some clothes to change into from our suitcases in the middle of the packed lobby, then going into the restrooms to change. The men s room had pee all over the floors. We checked our luggage and went to our event.
We still had not received a call at 5:30, so called the Omni, and were told we were 82 in line, and there were no guarantees of a room (we were 7 hrs from home). After the show, thankfully we did get one (they never did call us) but when going to the room, 2 out of the 4 elevators were broken, so it took 25 minutes to get there. Once we were there, I am grateful there were 2 beds, as one of them had hair on the sheets.
The next morning we had issues with the elevators again, the first two were full, and we didn t want to keep getting denied a spot, so ended up taking the stairs.
While it was convenient to walk to our event, based off our experience here, there is NO WAY I would ever stay here again.
There is nothing to eat at night or the surroundings
Excellent service, professionalism throughout. Love the Omni Brand
'Guests' of the hotel pay $45 to park overnight? Wow!
The location was amazing and the view was outstanding. At night, the city of Atlanta was so beautiful. The room was amazing and comfortable. Room Service was very kind and hard-working, therefore left a big tip. The food was amazing and bathroom was clean. The only con was that the room service and food was very expensive. But overall it was an amazing stay and I look forward to staying again one day.
Service is great..staff is very friendly and f2f facility well kept
Great view from my room located in the north tower. We are able to get a clear view of Centennial Park. The farris wheel is a beautiful ray of colors at night. The hotel also provides a quick route to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Phillips Arena and the Georgia World Conference Center, which also host the annual Bronner Brothers Hair Expo!
Fantastic hotel, excellent setting for professional events.
Best views of the park and city in my opinion! Attached to the CNN center and they offer a lot of amenities. Great location and very walkable
I travel for business often and never write reviews, but I stayed at this hotel in early January for a 5 day business trip and felt like I should share. The hotel was fine and everything was clean in my room to my knowledge. I don t usually use the cleaning option during a short stay at hotels, but this one was a bit longer so I used the cleaning service and came back on my last day to a pair of earrings I received as a gift missing. I know I had them with me on the trip because I had just thought the day before I was going to wear them, but then was running too late. I spoke to security and had to fill out paperwork, they told me they would be in touch. I have now called multiple times trying to get an update or anything on the earrings or what to expect, nobody can give me an answer or they transfer me to somebody else who just writes down my number and says I will get a call back. I am very frustrated by this coming from a high end, and well known hotel. I have never had anything taken from my belongings before and it gave me the worst feeling that I couldn t fall asleep in my room the last night of my stay, just feeling violated as I am always so appreciative of the cleaning service when I do use it on my trips and think they do a great job. I m devastated not only because a gift of mine was taken from my purchased hotel room, but also by the fact that their customer service is clearly a huge downfall and not a priority.
Enjoyed my time at this hotel. It is close to a lot of sites such as Coke Museum & Aquarium.
Hotel and staff was great! Hotel was clean with many events going on just a walk away. Wonderful location to sights and eating establishments
I travel a lot, around 60 trips a year. This is one of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed at.
My biggest complaint is for the staff. No customer service at all. I would call and ask for extra towels and soap for several times, they would never bring it to me. I don t like downtown of tge Atlanta as well, so the location is not good as well. No good restaurants around.
I don t recommend.
The hotel itself was awesome and lovely, but there was no warning about the construction in the food area that literally took away all the seating. We had to go elsewhere. Once that's properly dealt with 5 Stars easy.
They lost my car. No condiments in room. No refreshments totally unsatisfied will never stay her again
My wife and I arrived at the Omni on a Friday evening excited to get away for our first anniversary. The valet parking was quick and effortless and they verbally directed us to the check-in desk. Moses, a relatively new employee began our check-in process and asked if we were staying for a special occasion. We told him that this was our first anniversary trip, and in a few moments were bumped up to a top floor, Coca-Cola suite, given complimentary dinner for two at the hotel restaurant, and encouraged to contact him with any needs we would have.
Our suite was fantastic and overlooked the skyline as well as Centennial park. The dinner was highlight of our stay. We each had a four course meal with drinks and gratuity on the house as well. Erinn, our server, made it a dining experience to remember.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Atlanta, touring world of coke, relaxing in cozy hot tub, and chilling in our amazing suite.
The staff at this Omni hotel make staying there a wonderful and pampering experience. We will definitely come back in the future.
We stayed in the South tower which is a little older. Was great though, nice room great service. The North tower is newer and I would recommend if you like a more modern looking room. No complaints, location is perfect to access all the cool things downtown Atlanta has to offer.
The place is very nice and large. The workers there were all very helpful. The one thing I didn't like was how hard it was to get through the hallways when there's such a massive event like a large conference going on but that isn't really the fault of the hotel
I had a great time at the hotel. Check in was fast and the room was very clean. The bathroom even had a tubb, which I liked. Overall, great stay at the Omni hotel. My wife and I will be returning soon.
Hotel is showing it s wear. Had to request pillows and blankets because they only put out small flimsy pillows. For some reason we also had to request toilet paper twice. Location is great. Hotel could just use some TLC.
Confusion! Confusion at check in, valet parking, check out, and everything in between. Housekeeping was the best thing about this stay.
The Omni is my first choice hotel for a convention at the World Congress Center.
I was here for a conference so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms. I found it extremely confusing to find my way around, and the signage was poor, but the staff who I asked for help were all very nice and helpful. I would have liked if they offered wifi for conference attendees.
Everyone from the ticket booth to the guide are very nice and helpful.
We stay here most everytine we come to Atlanta. Never a bad experience and the hotel is centrally located. Phillips Arena is attached and the stadium is just a short walk.
Exhibit hall I was working in was dirty, swear there were the remains of a dead bird there. Hotel laundry was off to the side, so we could stantly heard the big industrial dryer kick on like a jet plane and a constant parade of staff clocking in and out.
Their hospitality is something I would go there again and again for. Good rooms awesome gym
