The location is great, right on Centennial Olympic Park, although the rooms were slightly dated.
Great hosts. Close to everything. A walk away from the aquarium. There is a Rick Sanchez hanging out in one of the lobbies.
Best hotel experience - we stayed for a conference and the hotel staff was some of the best. Prompt service, helpful advice and when my friend fell ill they were on the spot with finding me stuff for her.
Nice personnel nice at front desk especially Rebeca Only bad experience is I left an item in the room at was not found afterward for it was left in a shopping bag and was my mistake
You make Atlanta proud. Always have. Thank you for your attention to customer service and cleanliness.
Giving this place a 1. I walked in and it was grand! beautiful! Check in was quick. But at the Omni hotel, segregation is real. There are two buildings. The north Omni and the south Omni. If you get a room in the north building you get the beautiful grand hotel. If you get a room in the south building...well brace yourself. These positive reviews are only for the north Omni building. I, unfortunately, got tricked into believing I got a nice room. However I got a room in the south building. Right when I walked in the room I notice the red wet spot (shown on picture) and another wet spot by the bed along with crumbs and little pieces of wrappers (picture). I called and informed the receptionist. The receptionist told me she would get back to me. Well I waited and heard nothing from her. She even talked to me as if my kids made that nasty mess that was left in the room. For a 4 diamond hotel I am not impressed. I paid $400 to get a room that is worth $50. On top of that I don t even get free WiFi. I get booted out right away and can t even log in.
Amos among others go above an beyond with their guest service , amazing , outgoing an super nice !! Thank you , our stay was fantastic
Very nice hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Controlled access elevator gave it a very secure feel. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I have is the $45/day hotel parking. I parked down the street for $20. Other than that I have zero complaints.
Always stay here when visiting Atlanta. Great staff. Safe facility. Fun attractions. Surrounded by Centennial Park, Atlanta Aquarium and world famous CNN.
Great view, great service, beautiful property, great location!!
Great location if you are attending an event at Mercedes-Benz stadium! The room was very nice and the service was excellent.
Staff is so uptight & that makes it hard to feel comfortable
As always, Omni did NOT disappoint. Loved this hotel and all it had to offer without leaving the building!
I am attending a library conference and chose the Omni @ CNN Center (Atlanta, GA), as it was listed as a headquarter hotel for the event. I wish I could say I was pleased with the accommodations. However, various problems have made my stay less than comfortable from the start. A lack of cleanliness and basic maintenance/upkeep of the rooms facilities (bathroom, lighting, bedding) are terribly disappointing to say the least. I've been moved a couple of times, and room 3 is not much improved from the first 2. At this point, I just need to get this trip started and try and make the best of my stay for the next 4 days...
As always the service was attentive and very helpful with anything we needed.
Don't trust the valet with your vehicle. The valet driver wrecked our vehicle and didn't fess up, luckily we do a walk around when we get it back. The owner of the valet paid for it to get fixed, but the point is our vehicle was new and never wrecked or in any type of fender bender in the past. The drivers were dishonest and didn't want to admit who had done it.
Hands down the best place and rate for the full Atlanta experience. This is the perfect location if you want access to the Atlanta's main attractions. It will allow you to explore the city on foot and access the museums. The Omni hotel is really clean from bottom to top. The rooms are spacious, clean and be sure to request for a scenic view, you won't regret it.
Everything was great, i had an event at the georgia world congress center and they were very accomadating, the pads of paper were extremely helpful for the event
Friendly staff and clean rooms. It can be confusing trying to get where you need to go. Parking is expensive and it's valet only and don't expect to get to your car easily. But it's a nice hotel and will do nicely for what you need.
Great location to convention center, aquarium and Coke museum. Clean and comfortable
Elevators were constantly malfunctioning, escalators were constantly malfunctioning, and there seemed to be miscommunication between the front desk and the restaurants on what was complimentary breakfasts.
Went here to see Hugh Jackman this time and have been here many times to see other things! Cant wait to come back.
The hotel is fine but my room was a long walk from the elevator and looked into the hotel instead of outside. Wasn't a fan of that.
we checked in late at night and I must say it was busy as heck. But do hotel was nice and clean, well-lit, and the front desk clerks were very outstanding and might I add a beautiful. This hotel is across the street from Centennial Park right next door to CNN Headline News. Very very busy. A Starbucks is directly across the street. Valet parking is $45, or you can self Park next door for about $35. The walk isn't far at all. Traffic is very hectic. This is a very trendy location with people walking along the sidewalks 24 hours a day. I highly recommend this hotel if you can deal with the congestion and the people.
We stayed in October for 2 nights after my dad passed away. The beds were hard and springy, the bathroom smelled like mold, and it was noisy all the time from all the people down in the CNN center. This place is grossly overpriced and parking is a nightmare. You might be tempted to stay here because of the relatively modest nightly stay price, but be warned that you'll end up getting your credit card statement a month later with hundreds of dollars of unaccounted for charges. When my girlfriend called to inquire about these charges, a very rude, snotty customer service rep named Tanisha gave her a hard time and refused to be of any assistance at all. She merely snapped, "Well, ma'am, you spent $100 on room service." I have $300 worth of unaccounted for charges between our two cards from the OMNI hotel. Couple that with dismal customer service and we will never return. Make sure you check your statement closely!
This was a lovely hotel located in a great area of downtown Atlanta. It was close to many attractions including Centennial Park. The staff was very nice and I was greeted with smiles. It was convenient to have a food court connected to the hotel as well as two restaurants to choose from . The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pictures are from what I ordered from room service. I will definitely come here again.
Stayed in the south tower. Room service hours differ from what is posted on the website. You can hear your neighbors clearly, especially the door closure. It was convenient to access the state farm arena but the $$$ spent doesn't warrant a return stay.
I was actually on a CNN tour. Nice place. Great restaurants. I was even impressed by the food court selection.
Amazing, very good breakfast, clean, high class, I love it
I LOVE this hotel! Valet parking can add up, but it is worth it knowing that your car is safely stored. I love all of the restaurant choices downstairs and how close the hotel is to everything. This hotel is clean and always my first choice when visiting Atlanta.
Nice staff, clean rooms. Great location close to public transit, the GWCC and the CNN centsr.
The check-in process was very easy. The room was very comfortable. The pool and gym we're very nice and the hotel has a very convenient location next to the stadium and convention center.
The room and hotel were quite nice. But, the staff made us feel unimportant from the second we arrived. I felt like an inconvenience to everyone who greeted me. The person who took my luggage wasn t accommodating at all and made me feel rushed. The person who checked me in became visibility flustered when I walked up and he was struggling with the computer system. That attitude was passed onto me throughout the interaction. I was bluntly told that I couldn t have late checkout and that I would have to pay extra to park for an extra couple of hours to finish attending the event AT YOUR HOTEL. I feel like your hotel tried to squeeze every dime out of me possible. No complimentary water? No complimentary wi-fi? I would expect this type of extortion out of a cheap hotel... But, not out of a supposedly nice hotel. I don t get gouged like this when I stay at the Ritz, Marriott, Hyatt, or Doubletree! And their staff doesn t treat me poorly either! I understand that the hotel was busy this weekend, but that s no reason to treat your guests like this.
For a luxury hotel it is managed very poorly. Housekeeping was average at best. Do not restock cups and towels daily. Last night the elevators and escalator were inoperable. They had staff just standing by the elevators not saying a thing. Just watching people standing there getting upset. Did not offer the freight elevators which were working. No communication what so ever. Several of us ended up climbing 14 stories of stairs. Will not be back
I had to drop some medicine off to my daughter who was staying at the Omni. I was waiting for her to make it down to the street from her room. I had to make the block twice because I was told "no parking or standing." I understand that today we need security in today's world. Me giving my daughter a bottle of pills is not a terrorist act. I wasn't a guest but after that greeting I do not think I would ever stay at the Omni hotel in downtown Atlanta. Do not let my bad experience sway you. You need to try this hotel yourself and make up your own mind. Everyone experiences things differently. Thanks for your time.
Check in was slow. Parking options were not well explained. Room was ok until AC started buzzing at 2am at a volume similar to a clock alarm. Only way to silence it was to turn up the AC, which only bought about an hour or two of peace until it needed to be adjusted again, until the room temperature was uncomfortable. Front desk did nothing except promise maintenance checking on it... not much resolution as we were only staying one night. Ordered breakfast room service. If there is a tortilla size smaller than 4 inches, that's the size they use for the $17 burrito. Extremely disappointing experience.
Very close to the GWC Center, nice smiling and friendly service, avoid the South Tower, it needs to be restored. Justin Vining was generous in the discount that he gave me for my disappointed experience. I expected more from Omni, it is nigh/day compared to the one in Carlsbad California.
This hotel has all the potential to be a 5 star recipient, however over my 2 stays of 3-4 days i have had 3 issues that cause this location to only revive 3/5 stars. The first instance came on my night of arrival when it was discovered the WiFi that was promised cost extra nightly! The second occurrence was semi-out of the hotel owners control, however bothersome as there was a small child with me, we were standing in the Atlanta Braves Clubhouse when suddenly a group of men approached a young man and asked where there "five dollars where" the man then quickly dismissed them and walked away when then the group of men chased and attacked the man, it took long for the officers to catch on which seemed absurd as there were more officers in the building than the group involved. Lastly on my most recent visit on 7-14-15 we were PROMISED side by side rooms with two Queen size beds in EACH of the two rooms, upon arrival we discovered the rooms were 4 rooms apart and that the beds were only FULL size!!!! Other than this I may add that to the positive aspect the food court was exceptional with a wide variety of options.
Not very clean. Found old tissues on the floor. The bed isn't that great either, especially the pillows.
Had a seminar at ASH. Small room and thin insulation meant the session was not entirely undisturbed. Service and food was great however. Location of the hotel was fantastic for the congress.
Tourist attraction. Very pretty building AND best of all the Cartoon Network Store!
Please read. I stayed at the Omni from July 26 to the 28th. I arrive at 2AM to a messy room and that was not ready and had to go back to the desk to get a new room . The manager on that shift gave me a new room and credit for me and my family to have breakfast at the buffet which was great. Checking out I had an unpleasant check out with the person and manager working that morning. I was given a $120 credit as there were 4 of us $30 each . Paschelle working the front desk did not want to help me checking out. She did not want to search for the credit and did not let me speak . Every time I tried saying something. She would lift her finger until I got tired and told her I had a flight to catch and could not stay longer she said that was not her problem and got her manager. The manager was Monica who was UNhelpfull aswell . They called us incompetent because we did not understand what they were saying and it was not us, it s that Paschelle and Monica s vocabulary is minimal and kept repeating the same words trying to explain something to us that was not making sense . At the end, I was given a $120 credit that they did NOT apply to my bill and still. charged me for it. Very upsetting I had to run into these 2 at the end of my stay. Everything was great besides Monica the manager and paschelle the horrible person working the front desk . She needs better manners and needs to be retrained in customer service.
Conveniently located, clean, and not too expensive.
Didn't stay at the Hotel. Went to the CNN Center for a Comedy Show, for my Birthday . It was such a Good time !
The Omni is a beautifully appointed hotel with nice accommodations. Staff was excellent and very attentive. The hotel is very quiet for being so busy.
Just stopped here for the Starbucks located inside. Lots of other food options.
The staff and food in the onsite restaurants were great! The rooms need some work. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel.
Room service for coffee in morning was 1 and 1/2 hours late, had to remind them at 5 pm to clean our room
Awesome hotel, awesome customer service, awesome location! Also, there's a huge food court downstairs, several resturants in the hotel, there's a very small pool on the top floor and you can see the Mercedes-Benz football field. The hotel is in walking distance of the Coca-Cola factory, the Georgia Aquarium, and the College Football Hall of Fame. Most places deliver food there too. The only downfall is parking is $30.00 to $40.00 a day!
Visiting the CNN studios was q lot of fun. I wish there was more education/interaction, but overall a cool place to visit and learn about CNN.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Excellent location near CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park. A little easy to get lost, but nice views of downtown Atlanta.
We always stay at the Omni when in Atlanta, top notch always!
