Hotel rooms are nice and big. The beds are a bit hard and you may want to bring an extra pillow. Great views.
Hotel rooms are nice and big. The beds are a bit hard and you may want to bring an extra pillow. Great views.
Very friendly, although it is a pain if you stay in the north tower and have to check out at the south tower.
Its a nice hotel. Very well laid out. Could use more staffing and naybe some local art.
The service was world-class during the ACA Conference. The staff was everywhere I needed them to be before I could ask.
Beautiful hotel. Great staff
Would recommend.
Just a less than pleasant stay, the hallway looked dingy and worn out. Room configuration was weird- towel hook behind door so when getting out of shower could not reach towel, paint peeling on door caused it to stick shut forcing us to have to jerk it just to get open. No room service menu in room & when went to the front desk to obtain one- told to go ask the bartender ... no customers at front desk but ok I will go ask bartender who by the way had a FULL bar... why aren t you doing this? Normally Omni has it going on-
It was our anniversary so the staff gave us an upgrade to the Atlanta suite, room 2683. The best views of Atlanta. Great service, views, staff and room. Best hotel experience in Atlanta.
The worst hotel I ever stayed in. No free WIFI, there is a charge for everything and your room isn t serviced daily or not serviced to satisfaction. They ration out coffee. You must leave the room when the maid comes in, even if you re sleeping!
Very nice looking rooms. North tower rooms are nicer than the south rooms. The beds in the South tower are not that great you can feel the springs
Had I know on-line check in was going to be such a hassle, I would not have done it. We stayed in the north tower, but had to figure out where and how to get to the south tower to retrieve our keys. It was so busy, there was no one available to direct us. For a newcomer, the layout of the hotel was very confusing.
Dinner was lovely, although the breakfast buffet was extremely overpriced for what was offered. I was in shock when my 9 year old was charged $24 to eat 2 pieces of bacon and some eggs from the buffet. $63 for breakfast was definitely not worth what we received.
Also, for some reason we were charged $10 for wi-fi. I m not sure why since we are on an unlimited data plan and do not need wi-fi access. I m guessing they just tack that on everyone s bill and remove it if you make the effort to complain.
Overall our stay was just fine. We liked the convienence/location, but I feel like we overpaid for everything else. Next time we are in the area, we will seek other options.
First rate staff and service! Beautiful hotel and excellent location, we will be back!!
many restraunts to choose from and lots to do around town!
Very nice hotel customer service several restaurants within the hotel including a huge food court. The Coca-Cola factory is within a two minute walking distance along with the college Hall of Fame, the Atlanta aquarium, CNN, a nice little water park and much more
This hotel is in a great location. I ve stayed here a couple of times over the years. It s overpriced for the rooms and the inconvenience of having to walk up a ton of stairs to get to the front desk.
It s tired and way overdue for a remodel. The food is decent and overpriced. This is the Omni price gouging because of the good location. They just seem lazy to me. Why not make this an amazing property and charge more money?
The rooms are fine, but not great. They are clean, which is good. If you need to stay downtime close to all the action, this is a good choice... but don t expect the ritz or the four seasons. You get what you get.
During my most recent stay, I requested a room in the South Tower (Starbucks, Food Court, & CNN studios attached), but was booked in the North (ESPN had the majority of the rooms reserved for the Alabama-Georgia Championship). The lady at the front desk definitely made sure to give me one of the rooms with THE BEST VIEWS. I had a direct view of Centennial Park & the AT&T Playoff Playlist stage. Nightly Fireworks and performances from musical acts such as Charlie Puth, The Chainsmokers, and Kendric Lamar could be seen right from the bed!
Discounts to tour the CNN Studios are available for hotel guest.
Bar has a good atmosphere and prices weren't bad at all
I got here for quick eats on lunch break. Lots of choices and a great social atmosphere.
Service was good and quick. Many choices to pick from when looking for food.
Nice hotel, stayed in the north tower which made it a bit of a walk to the hotel bar or CNN plaza
Truly exceptional Hotel. Fantastic view of Atlanta from the upper levels of the hotel. Nice views of Centennial Olympic Park. A very nice hotel!!!
So many homeless people around he hotel and the parking is awful $10 for parking two blocks down the hotel and valet is $38 overnight that is just ridiculous and very expensive as well not just the parking but the food and wifi!!!!!!! NO free wifi guys and.gals. Just awful experience overall do not stay in this hotel everything is crowded.
The yugioh atlanta regionals was great as usual and I can't wait to go again.
The WiFi wasn t working for the entire duration of my stay. No one felt the need to tell me that this issue was only an issue the guest rooms in the north tower were having. I found this out from the valet as I was leaving the hotel. Every time I called the reception to figure out if the issue was resolved with the WiFi they acted like they didn t even know there was an issue. Due to this issue I couldn t work on my laptop the whole time i was there. I expect every hotel to have WiFi and if they realize someone really needs it have them change rooms if it clearly is working somewhere else in the hotel!!! Done with Omni going to stick to Marriott like I have in the past.
I enjoyed my stay at the Omni Hotel I had a beautiful room with a balcony on the 9th floor overseeing the city. Staff was very professional and helpful. My only gripe is parking was too expensive at the hotel for my taste.
I took the CNN studio tour. It was really fun. You tour while they are actually reporting live news.
This has more to do about them as an employer rather than their actual service. Through a hospitality staffing service, I worked a couple events there. The actual Omni employees who oversee the events are high unorganized, visibly stressed from the get go, and this ultimately leads to some unprofessional behavior from supervisors. After working my second event, I informed the staffing service to never, ever call me for work at this Omni Hotel again.
Great service but the place lack fast internet. The help desk are very friendly and pleasant.
Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, will definitely recommend.
The food court has a great selection of places to grab a quick bite!
Rude staff and they force you to pay for valley parking which is 35. Then they charge an additional 50 till you check out all on top of the already overpriced small room. It was very clean tho and walking distance from almost everything
Arby's was not good in the CNN Building. The buns were cold, the fries were barely warm. The young guy should've had a head net on because his hair was long. No gloves, nor did anyone wash their hands between taking money and handling the food.
Nice elevator and escalater views but toilets were too stinky
Hotel was as expected. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly, courteous and made my stay very pleasant. The rooms were very well appointed and spotless. Omni is very close to the convention center and other places of interest.
The Omni is always lovely, I've been here numerous times in my twenty+ years of living in the city and it never misses a mark.
It was a great venue for MomoCon which was held at the Georgia World Congress Center. I would give it five stars, however, the bar staff was not very attentive. No one came around to the tables and asked if people wanted food or more to drink. Yet there was a menu on each table.
Some truly great lobby and bar areas, they are connected to a food court and to shopping. The hotel itself was grand, the rooms where not as much. I would have loved to have more comfortable sleeping arrangements. They are very hospitable thought and I would highly suggest to give them a try
Greatest hotel I've stayed at today. I'm going home now but it's nice to know how the neighbors live.
Several mix ups over the reservation, bed, and room size. Premier Executive Room - 1 King Bed was not at the level I expected.
I love the food court, always go there for my fast food cravings, and after eating, there is always a new part of Atlanta to explore in the CNN CENTER! The hotel has a perfect spot as well.
The Omni hotel has a great location for downtown Atlanta. It is connected to the CNN center and overlooks Centennial Olympic Park where the Human Rights and Coca-Cola museums can be found along with the Georgia Aquarium and College Football Hall of Fame. The rooms are a good size and the service efficient and friendly. They are flexible and hospitable.
The only downside is the length of time for check in and check out. We checked out on a Saturday morning at 7 am and the line was 20 persons long with only two check out clerks.
Started off hinky, but Anthony made my stay a magical experience. He matched great customer to the reputation of the brand and because of him I'll visit the Omni again.
Great hotel very nice and clean. Cnn center is closed due tocovid, which also means the food court is closed as well
Ended up staying here on a recommendation. Room was large, and bed was neither awesome or awful. Service was straight out bad. Was staying Friday to Sunday. Tried to get the car Saturday to get something from trunk and after 30 minutes just cancelled the call. Been waiting for the car on Sunday to go home for almost 30 minutes at this point in a spot with no comfortable chairs and a couple loud drunks in the area.
I am usually do not stay in hotels long enough to truly enjoyed. In Omni Atlanta hotel at the CNN center I did. I enjoyed it and took advantage of all amenities.
It is modern facility, full of lights, with many places to eat and to relax. Located in the heart of Atlanta, close to attractions such as the Centennial Olympic Park, the magnificent aquarium, the Georgia Dome and many others, it is also a place where you can swim, exercise, shop, or simply enjoyed a cup of fresh brewed cup of coffee!
The hotel has over 1,000 rooms, with breathtaking views and luxurious amenities. Inside the suites you would find flat screen TV s, work desk and access to Wi-Fi. They have ADA accessible rooms. There is a spa, pools and yes, my favorite, a well-equipped fitness canter.
Hungry? If you want to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, there are some very good restaurants, such as Prime Meridian, Latitudes Bistro and Lounge, Morsels. The hotel also offers 24 hours services.
If you are arriving form the airport, I recommend you use an airport pick up services. It cost about $65.00. I do this because I usually arrive during the day and the traffic in Atlanta can be overwhelming. Now, there is also an Amtrak station. Another possibility is driving. You need to know, most hotels in Atlanta charge parking fees, up t over $30.00 depending on the hours.
Take care and consider staying in this beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As for Atlanta, it is a dynamic city full of places to visit and explore. The aquarium is fantastic and I enjoyed the Coca Cola Center!
As always please be careful. You are in a big city and with that come risk. See the world but be aware of your surrenders!
Writing from my present adventure, Ciao my fellow travelers.
This was a horrible experience. The hotel has two towers and both are dated. Our room was outdated and the light above the shower was out. Someone came to replace/ repair the light however they never repaired it and did not return after being called. Toiletries were not replenished daily and we had to call the front desk for basic toiletries. There is a bellhop that evidently they are not available to assist you. Valet was a mess and overall this property is not a good reflection of Omni. I have visited other Omni properties and had relatively pleasant experiences however this hotel did not measure up.
Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Room service food was surprisingly good for 11 pm order.
Only downside was The Pool was very small. Spa was good. Downtown location good for walking to attractions.
Omni Orlando is better, like a resort.
Desk staff was rude. No robes in the room, condiments with coffee not replaced. We had a wait of 30 minutes for breakfast. Completely unacceptable.
The Venue is great had a great time the admaspire is awesome
Excellent hospitality! Hotel is in short distance of dozens of activities!
Expensive hotel doesn't clean coffee cups or water glasses, leaves water in ice bucket and no new liner, have to call downstairs for toilet paper, shampoo, etc. as maid doesn't refresh it. Ice machine broken on our floor, escalator broken. Much happier at Hampton Inn or Holiday in Express with free breakfast, free parking and better maid service.
Worst bar in town!! They didnt and couldn't figure out how to turn on the TVs. Our waitress shae was a doll. Bartenders. Clueless.
I attended Oprah's 2020 Vision tour and had an awesome time in the arena.
All I can say is how can it be so bad. It was 4:00 and over 250 people in the lobby waiting to check in for hours. Person I talked had been waiting since 1:00. Next day another person said they didn't get checked in until midnight. Get 1 star because valet was so nice.
Great hotel suite...was un able to find heated pool, spa,or most of the other supposed amenities, cnn was closed off no tour...parking was ridiculously high, but the service from all employees was 4star excellent from checking in-valet+room -to check out.....best ever ...thanks guys
Horrible, absolutely horrible. Waited in line to check in for 30 minutes. Shower wouldnt drain. And both the shower and my bed were full of hair. Damn disgusting.
If we were not going to an event at GWCC he Omni would not have been my first choice. Decent hotel but a little pricey for our tastes. We stayed in the South Tower and the layout felt tight in a bad way. Not a lot of very close food options unless you want fast food at the CNN food court.
Wonderful staff, pristine rooms, and plentiful amenities. We had a blast, and would absolutely stay again.
First class hotel. Courtesy and friedliness of the staff is the best I've ever seen.
Not worth the money. Rooms are old and in need of an update.
Love the fact you can request a room with a balcony at no extra charge. The view was amazing as was the room. Would stay here again.
Beautiful views through wonderful windows that stretch from floor to ceiling.... If you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall of the city then the Omni is how you would do that. From a room that is perched upon the eaves of Olympic Centennial Park you can watch Atlanta bloom in it's slow beautiful way as the day unfolds and the traffic of life passed by beneath you.
I love the Omni for it's fresh breath of reminding me why I love downtown...
...and I love downtown because it is home to places like the Omni. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
