Thoroughly enjoyed the trolley rides! We had Big Scott and Tammy with a T from Tennessee. Both had different personalities but enthusiastically shared their knowledge and love with their passengers! 10/10 Reccomend!

This is the best tour you can take. We visited during the pandemic and l was impressed with how much the tour guide really cared about Savannah.. i called the iffice to check on a pick up time and the gentleman who answered the phone went out of his way to take care of us. Will definitely do this again.

We were doubtful on which ride to take, this one or the orange trolley one. We chose this one (white trolley) because of the characters and it was said to be a new experience. So we got the hop on hop off package, that enables you to explore the points you want and hop on the next trolley. In the whole tour, we decided to leave the trolley only 4 times, the problem was that when we needed to get on it again, on three of those times we had to wait for the following next trolley, because that one was full. On two of those times we had to wait for the third trolley, and that made a 40 min wait time. The other company had trolleys coming and going all the time. When I complained the crew staff said the city was full because of spring break, bu they did nothing to fix the situation, like putting more trolleys or selling less packages. Also, on our 2 round tour, we only saw 2 characters. Probably I should have chosen Old Trolley Tours Savannah, the orange ones.

Fantastic tour company. We loved our tour guides. They were so laid back and friendly. Very knowledgeable of Savannah history. I love that they all share a little something different. It makes it nicer when you choose the hop on/hop off trip. You don't have to hear the same script over and over again. Also, the costumed characters that get on at various locations are a hoot. Well worth the price. Best thing we did while in Savannah.

Our tour guide "Anna from Savannah" was a lot of fun and very informative. The tour started promptly and we selected the package that allowed for drop off and pick up from designated spots in the city. This option was well worth the money. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city.

Tammy and Kathleen give you serious bang for your buck...both hilarious, VERY knowledgeable about Savannahs little secrets, and they obviously LOVE Savannah...avoid Donnie like the plague...talks to fast, not as knowledgeable about the town, and as you are oohing and awwing over the beautiful scenery, he tells you to be quiet, so that he can think!!! VERY RUDE! As much as this tour costs, I should be able to ooh and aww, and he should just do his job....ONLY trolley driver I didn't tip! Fortunately, Tammy and Kathleen made my family's trip spectacular! Thank you, ladies...not easy to keep teenagers happy on a history trip...but you did it! :-)

The 90 minute on/off trolley was fantastic. Carole was our guide for most of the time and she was both knowledgeable and entertaining. The actors that came on board added an extra piece of flair. I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to visit Savannah or even if you're local. I've lived here for 5 months now and I learned a lot of interesting facts about my new home.

Took the tour in May during the pandemic. Very safe and they kept the tour group small. Our driver Paula and tour guide Jenn were very funny and knowledgeable about the city. We also had Arthur as a tour guide for a portion and he was fantastic too. This tour is a mixture, of character actors, history and personal stories and info on the current culture and places to try. Definitely do this at the beginning of your trip so that you know what to try and see! Also had two stops at the most popular parts of the city and you were able to get back on all day to go back to your car or hotel if it was within the historic city limits.

Our family chose the hop on/off tour. So glad we did this. We jumped off at Factors Walk on River Street. Great views and fun along the river. The Savannah History is abundant and we all fell in love with this city! We hopped back on the trolly at Stop 10, near City Market and didnt miss a beat. We had fantastic tour guides while on the trolly....one memorable one was Tammy "with a T" :) She was fantastic. So happy we chose the white trolly tour. Old Savannah Tours!

We have had good tours in other cities of this sort so we took this one on our first trip to Savannah hoping to get some interesting tidbits about the city. I probably would have got more history from riding a public bus. If I had to pinpoint the biggest problem it would be that the 'host' was both driver and the guide. Her focus on traffic meant stories trailed off mid-sentence never to be resumed and a lot of repeated snippets. Too expensive and not worth your time.

The tour was very informative and the tour guide is really good at what she does. She made sure to insert jokes here and there to entertain us.
We could hope on and off the trolley during the tour, however we didn t take full advantage of this feature because it was cold that day:).
The Old Savannah Tour customer service also went above and beyond to ship my hydro flask water bottle to Orlando. I inadvertently left the bottle at the ticketing office when purchasing the tickets. 2 days later after returning to Orlando, I contacted Old Savannah Tour office indicating that I have left my water bottle. They said they will ship it to my address at no cost. I have received it and want to thank the staff for their quick response.

I took the on/off tour with my 11 month old. The company offered free shuttle services to & from our hotel which were easy and fast. We went around the tour fully and enjoyed all of the sights, sounds, & information that the tour had to offer. During this time we incountered 3 of their characters who gave us more interesting information about the city of savannah. I wish they had more characters out that day but it wasn't a disappointment. The driver was very friendly & explained to us the rules of the tour before we left the station. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Please reconsider how the tickets are done. I am currently sitting in the sun for over 10 minutes. We paid ahead and we are waiting on everyone else to get their tickets situated. As a local it was disappointing to see the initial set up isn't organized very well. Parking is free with tour and has no lint which is nice. Over all your is informative.

We were impressed and lucky to have Donny as our tour guide. His extraordinarily thorough knowledge of Savannah's historical figures and significance to America's early roots made for a fun and educational journey through town. Donny's rapid-fire delivery of facts combined with a few sprinkles of humor made us wish we could have recorded the whole tour on video. Superb!

Wonderful company. Kathleen was a site! Friendly, hilarious, spooky laugh! Loved it! She even got out in the storm and shut the flaps, had towels for us to dry off, and kept checking with us on when to reopen them! Did the on/off tour with the River Boat option. They pick you up at their address or the Visitor Center. You pay when you get to their address. Can reboard at any stop. Very knowledgeable staff! Rode with several different drivers and learned something new every time around!

The Old Savannah Trolley tour buses go in a loop around Savannah historic sites all day. One ticket allows you to get on and off as many times in a day as you want. Me and my wife changed buses 3 times and heard three different tour guides. My favorite was Denise who was the most thorough and interesting of the guides and who also reminded me of the actress Della Reese.

We wanted to hear more about Savannah so we looked...

We wanted to hear more about Savannah so we looked at the trolley tours. We actually wanted the Old Town Trolley tour but pulled into the wrong place. First, the guy in the parking lot gave terrible instructions about where to get on and off. Second, the guy gave terrible instructions about where to park exactly. We got a late start, around 1pm. The web was confusing as to how things worked in terms of getting on/off and when the trolley really just stops servicing stops. We figured since the guy charged us FULL price, the trolley would service stops until 5pm, which was not the case. The guy did say we could ride for free the next day, but (1) we were heading out of town, and (2) we figured we would see enough that day.
We got off in the river front district and grabbed some food, then it took a good 1/2 hour to get on a trolley. Then, we find out the trolley is not stopping at the stops and was heading back to the city center. Our car was parked at stop 9, so we had a good 10-15 minute walk. So basically we paid over $100 for a ride from stop 9 to the river, total BS.
The first trolley (from stop 9 to the river front) had a decent 'tour guide'; he could talk about every building we passed and was pretty entertaining. The second guy was just terrible. He was like a subway car operator announcing just the next stop followed by unintelligible mumbling. The whole just sucked. Even if we rode the thing for 1.5 hours it still would not have been worth it. Save your money people. Just park a little outside the river front and walk/uber around and buy a guide on Savannah.

We booked this tour on the recommendation of our hotel. A shuttle picked us up from our hotel to take us to the starting point at the Savannah Visitor's Center. The staff at the hotel also recommended that we stay on the hop on/hop off for the first 90 minutes in order to get the full tour from the same guide. We're so glad we did. Our tour guide was excellent! He was very funny and very southern. After that, we hopped on and off with other tour guides that weren't nearly as entertaining. It provided a good overview history of the area and was an easy way to get around on a rainy, cold day.

Waste of a hundred bucks for my family ! we didn't get to see much of anything because no one bother telling us that the tour ended at 5:00, the person that sold us a ticket didn't tell us the person driving the bus didn't tell us we waited at a stop for an hour for the next bus when we got off one time only to call and find out from a voicemail that the place was closed at 5:00 p.m. Total waste !

We had 24 military dependent youth from Singapore ...

We had 24 military dependent youth from Singapore and San Diego visiting a youth facility near Savannah and booked a specialized history and ghost story tour. Normally this company is wonderful, but on 7-17-17 we were on trolly 913 at 6:15 pm and the guide was very disrespectful to our high schoolers. One student got up to change seats and she yelled at him for standing up. Another time she got onto one of our adults for talking during her program and asked what was so important. Over and over she kept saying how she personally did not believe in the ghost story tv shows and they were stupid. She also talked about how many if the facts about the ghost stories she did not care about. At one point she said nowhere in her job description it says she has to believe in ghosts. Finally, one of our teens mentioned they went to a psychic earlier on River Street and the Teen asked her about a story they heard from the psychic. The tour guide said the Teen must be making that story up inferring he was stupid. The guide by far was the most disrespectful guides I have ever had in Savannah. Not sure if she was mad because she was leading a youth tour tonight and might not get tipped or what, but I always tip for good service but not tonight. Very disappointed knowing this was set up in advance and she knew she was getting a group of teens whose mother or father's fight for our freedom while serving in the military.

We came from Florida for a weekend stay. This was our Saturday to do. We enjoyed the tour so much. Out of the 16 stops, we got off at 4 and enjoyed the areas. The drivers were very knowledgeable, and each had their own twist on how they spoke about the town. We really enjoyed the impersonation actors that got on board. We had never done anything like this, and our hotel had the brochure for a few guided tours. I'm do glad I chose this one. It was a great adventure. It was my husband and I, with our 6 y.o. so and toddler daughter. Although she got antsy, it was nice to be able to get off the tour frequently, but know another bus was only 20 minutes away when we were ready to go again. I definitely recommend the on and off pass. I definitely recommend this tour bus. Thanks!!

Bad experience. We have waited for 30 minutes and finally got on the 3rd bus. The 1st bus was full right when it was our turn and the 2nd bus had a broken seat. The staff there told me just 3 minutes the next bus will come, but it took 15 minutes for each bus. The old Savannah tour combines a hop on and off with historic overview tour, and that's why they cannot guarantee guests seats and we have to wait and wait. On the opposite, the Savannah welcome center has old town trolley buses leaving more frequently and with less crowded people. We wanted to get a refund and go with old town trolley, and the staffs at Old Savannah Tours did really a bad job and didn't respond to me timely, both staffs onsite and over phone. One lady even told me "I am also tired". What does this matter to my tour? Unprofessional. I highly don't recommend Old Savannah Tours! Drivers are polite and professional though, so I appreciated and still tipped. The front office and people over phone have so bad attitude.

I had a large family group on a cold December day in Savannah and wanted to gain an overview of old Savannah as a starting point to learning about the city.

There were 14 of us (one person in a wheelchair). Fortunately, based on a recommendation from a friend, I chose Old Savannah Tours who run the white tour trolleys in Savannah.

They were able to quickly take all fourteen of us on a single tour trolley, and even though the weather was quite cold and breezy, we were warm and comfortable. There was free parking for patrons nearby.

The tour was great! Would recommend it to anyone. It gave use an excellent overview of the old town, and we learned so much of Savannah history along the way. We could get on and off if we chose, and somewhere along the route Forest Gump came on board!

The tour set us up to then authoritatively choose the next few days of site-seeing as we now knew where to go, and what was available to see.

I highly recommend Old Savannah Tours with the white trolley cars.

We were excited to go on the trolley tour. We got the tickets from our hotel for myself, my mom and my 2 year old son. My mom is in town visiting, as my husband and son and I are living here for work. We got about 20 minutes into the tour and my son started fussing- not crying, not being out of control, fussing, because it's 90+ degrees. The bus driver stopped and said we would have to move to the very back of the bus, or get off the bus. We got off the bus and had to walk all the way back to our hotel. Sad that this is Savannah hospitality... definitely NOT kid friendly. Discrimination at its finest.

Excellent tour and excellent customer service. We ate at the Distillery next door, and checked with the employee about parking, and she let us park for free while we ate, before we paid for the tour. It was later in the day when we got our tour, so they threw in a second day of the tour for free. They offered free parking or they would send a shuttle to our hotel if we preferred. The tours were all great, and the hop on-hop off was great. Drivers/guides use different routes, so no tour is exactly the same, and this is great if you have more than one day of touring.
