Local Canadians cannot survive in this Company. TCS still believes in Indian Bossism culture, with no human rights. Also this Company resort to different ways to profit from Canda, initially by expoliting talented local Indian people. Esp, they hire Canadian Pr/Citizens who are Indian, to comfort their 99% Indian employees in Canada, and after period of time, they replace Indo-Canadians ( who try to resort to Canadian employee Culture) with Work permit holders from India (who will initially work like with no time bounds). Indo Canadians are let go abruptly, as they wont fit in to Indian mode working anymore and they are afraid to manage these resources. For the same reason, TCS wont hire local Canadians and even if hired, they cannot stay in this 100% Indian environment and will leave TCS, since most of the employess are very young 21-30 and they cannot mingle with other nationals ( TCS employees including TCS managers, speaks in their native languages in client locations with out consideration to other language speaking clients !!). Even those mangers who had served TCS for more than 10+ years left organisation with lots of bad feeling finally, for self respect. Canadian Government should oversee the employee rights and mass imports of Indian young employees in to Canada instead of giving opportunity to huge local young talents. (though they hire from campus occasionally, its very minimal compared. They have more than 10,000 employees in Canada who are mostly from India/Indian Born, barring very few other nationals. HRs in TCS are pure liars and neither trustworthy nor reacheable to employees. They hide so much from employees and mostly escapes from answering directly even in emails. The top management is also never reacheable and are maintaining a hierarchical olden Boss era. They will never listen to grievances of their reportees and a bad management folks.

TCS is a pretty big company. In India you would find so many offices. In fact it's the best and largest IT company from India and also top 10 in the world. In Bengaluru, you would find around 8-10 buildings of its own in just 2-3 kms of area in Whitefield. However such is not the case here. Most of the work and TCS employees here work at the client places. So not much to talk about this building.

Today, I randomly met Ashish Paithankar from your corporation. It was such a pleasure to discuss with him and his colleague also from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

What this company does is: 1) Hires ppl full time for peanuts and then sells them as contractors to the big banks and other financial institutions. Scam!

The security team on site at this building require customer service training on how to engage the public.

They hire only Indians. Why Canadians need to apply Indian company to get job in Canada? Hire local talent and university students from Canada

They don't give any reference letter to their ex employees. Their behavior is horrible. They don't respect their employees and they talk very rude with them.

Tata Consultancy Services (or TCS) is a global staffing/placement company specializing in a few sectors in Canada, namely IT and Banking/Financial.

Tata Consultancy is only good for hiring cheap labor from India for pennies they pick up from fountains. You get what you pay for.

I have a hard time believing these 5 star reviews. This firm has an strong toxic Indian culture. Employees are expected to work like slaves and most management is incompetent. There is high turn around. A great tragedy with this firm is that they will just import thousands of Indians on work permits and saturate the IT job market for Canadians. Why pay a decent salary to a Canadian when you can just import someone from south India for a fraction of the cost. Companies like TCS are a great scam and hurt the local population wherever they open. Its no wonder they are looked upon with so much disgust all over the developed world.

I am reaching out to you regarding IT job scam run by Offshore Indian Consulting companies like TCS. These companies are taking 90% of the tech jobs in the city in the pretext of cost-saving for big banks, government and almost any organization that requires IT support. They are sending resources directly from India on work permit basis without considering any local candidate. They also have their scouts spread all over the city and they low ball you for a contract or full-time position and create a record that they interviewed a local candidate but in reality, they place only people who are from India and would need the work permit. It is unfortunate that in a country like Canada our job situation is being directly controlled from India. Also in regards to their cut in a contract, if End client is paying $70 an hour, they will take a margin of almost 35% - 40% and in some case 50%. My question is what is our government doing anything about? Are they even aware of this situation? People are saying we will lose our jobs to robots in the future. I dont see robots but I see TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys.

They take your resume and never give to the end client. In case there is an audit by the government they have a record that they conducted an interview and no local candidate was available. Everything is orchestrated in such a way that it looks like everything is genuine. Jobs are created for Canadians but taken by offshore companies to fill their greedy pockets.

I call them IT mafia. Some of their partners in crime are these companies below run by ex-employees/ friends/ family who is playing a part in this mega scam. These crooks should be audited often and heavily taxed to boost our economy. For every offshore resource, they bring in 40% earing goes to Ontario.

We can give these jobs easily to young graduates from Canadian university. They are not sending any highly skilled professional.

Definitely one of the worst service based company that I have worked so far. The Senior Management team (including HR team) did not respond back to my emails upon submitting resignation. The company obtains service contracts from other clients by underbidding the cost and does not compensate its employees for overtime efforts.

Mr. Anurag Tripathi , the interviewer was a joke. He had around 50 people lined up for three job openings. Timings were not met at all. He made us wait for almost 2 hours to get interviewed and then took onlly 5 mins to conduct an interview. He had no copies of resumes on his desk not he took effort to look at a resume. Very ignorant person and am wondering why would they have such an interviewer.

Work Culture is not good. Expect you to work in normal hours and than take call in NIght with offshore team with no compensation for over time
