First of all, buying an apartment is stressful. Buying an apartment in a foreign country where you are not physically located, do not speak the language and are unfamiliar with the laws, rules and regulations is downright terrifying. I had decided to buy a vacation home in Montenegro because my sister and her husband said it was the most beautiful place they had ever been. In my search, I came across Peter s YouTube video of an apartment ntRealty had on the market. I was immediately struck by his outright honesty. He pointed out all the great things about the apartment but did not gloss over the stuff that needed work. He was thorough and clear- and I loved the apartment!
I found Peter s email address easily on their website and emailed him. Despite the time difference (I am in the USA and he is in Montenegro) he answered me right away. I added him on What s App and he called me right away. We discussed all the details of the apartment and he was, like in the video, super honest. He told me all about it, told me what work needed to be done, and was super realistic about my offer.
Peter and his office manager Beba continued to be super supportive and responsive every step of the way. When I was unraveling over a delay in paperwork Peter called me and talked me off the ledge like a pro. I appointed him power of attorney and he was extremely trustworthy and reliable throughout the entire process. He assured and reassured me and kept me in the loop on every signature. When I had trouble understanding the money transfer procedures, he patiently walked me through it again and again.

They have good relationships with the powers that be who you will need to expedite your paperwork and ensure that you are in compliance with every law of the land.

When I decided to find a property in Montenegro I came across Peter Flynn (NT Realty) on You Tube. He does a lot of 5 min videos on the listings which really helped to give an understanding of what the various properties were like. His competitors don't do the same. He was very helpful and responsive when I started requesting additional information remotely.
When I came to Montenegro to start my search, I started working with him immediately. He's a down to earth and straight forward guy and most importantly I came to trust him, and I can't think of any more important quality in a realtor than that. His team are great too.
Unlike his competitors he primarily focuses on one district, Boka Kotorska, which he described as the pearl of Montengro. After visiting other popular districts, I ended up agreeing with his conclusion and focused my search there. He was very effective in understanding my requirements and pretty much every property he showed me I would have been happy with. On visiting Montenegro for our first time in May 2018 we quickly fell in love with this beautiful country and its friendly welcoming people.
By chance on a Sunday afternoon we came across ntRealty in Tivat , as it turned out what a lucky find. In next to no time we had been sent a list of suitable holiday homes, which we narrowed down to ones we were interested in viewing.
