After 16 hours of flight, we finally made it to Paris...!
Heading to Vigny Hotel, my wife and I had indeed great expectations regarding accommodations and service, afterall, we were booked on a FIVE STAR HOTEL!
However (and unfortunately) the fist inconvenience was ... no elevator! Well... c mon ... we were on the fist floor... it s ok to use the stairs... right?
Then we got in the 104 room and... oh oh NO TV either! Let s call maintenance... acter 20 minutes using mimics to explain the guy what the problem was (yes, they don t speak any English)... we finally got to relax and watch Tv!
Then on the second day, around 3pm, I ve requested a bed sheet, since the only blanket in the room made me really warm at night (no sleep at all in the night before)... not only I didn t get it in the afternoon but in the evening (aroin 10pm) once again, I called the front desk to order it. To my THIRD surprise, I heard there was NO KEYS TO ACCESS HOUSEKEEPING, so there was NO SHEETS AVAILABLE WHATSOEVER, so I ll had to accept it and have a good night!
Unacceptable to hear such a answer from such a unprepared employee!
My fist job was to run a night audit for a 360 suites hotel in Atlanta GA, USA... me and only 2 guys ran the entire hotel from 10pm to 7am and we NEVER had such an excuse to a guest!!!
I really hope this hotel could review its standards ASAP! I ll make sure the next guests get to know the true stars of your service!
