We stayed in a preferred club junior suite pool view room. The room was okay, a little outdated and not very clean. There was hair and pills on the floor from the previous guests.The shower was terrible and had mildew buildup. The rest of the room was fine. The balcony was nice and the view was beautiful, especially at night when everything was lit up, although our room was facing the pool to the other resort so we can see and hear kids swimming/playing, and we stayed at secrets because we wanted an adults only resort. The tub on the balcony was a nice touch, although we could never get it to work right, but our butler Wolfan would fill it for us at night with bubbles and rose petals which was awesome. The pools were very nice, especially if you were part of the preferred club because u had access to a more private pool with cabanas. We spent most of our time by the preferred club pool. The beach was beautiful. We paid extra to have a cabana on the beach our last night which came with a butler and food/drink service. My biggest complaint was the restaurants and food quality. I know the food/culture is different, but it was hard to find a good meal. Even the basic things like pizza/pasta was not good. My boyfriend ended up getting sick after eating at the Italian restaurant the first night. Then he got sick after everything he ate the next day too. He had to run out in the middle of dinner one night. He had to see the doctor there and be put on antibiotics and antinausea medication because he had severe vomiting and diarrhea for the first 3 nights of our 5 night stay. We heard similar stories from other people we encountered during our stay. The last night I started to feel sick as well and had nausea and diarrhea which continued for 2 days when I got home. There is 24 hour room service which is nice, but the only safe thing to eat there is the nachos. Because we were part of the preferred club we were able to have "special menus" at the restaurants. At the seaside grill our butler set us up a reservation for the special menu. When we arrived we were given a menu that was very confusing and not translated well, like under beef it said a marinated chicken breast, but we never got to order off that menu, they just brough us whatever they wanted, which was ribeye, not the chicken breast like stated on the menu they handed us. My ribeye was okay, had better at outback. My boyfriends was very rare, like almost still breathing rare, so he didn't eat it. We did have a good breakfast at the carnival buffet at the neighboring resort. My boyfriend has a severe tree nut allergy which was hard to explain because of the language barrier, but our butler Wolfan gave us a card that translated his allergy to give to the people at the restaurants. The drinks were mediocre. You dont get top shelf like they said unless you specifically request. For the most part the staff was very nice but sometimes took a long time for requests. Our room had all of our welcome information including menus in German. We requested one in English which they said they would bring up but we never got it, which wasn't a big deal cause any questions we had our butler Wolfan would answer for us. Overall our stay was nice. We had beautiful scenery and weather. The people and workers were great especially Wolfan and Marcelo. David at the beach cabanas was awesome. The greater at the preferred club pool(cant remember his name) was so nice and pleasant which put us in a good mood. Food quality was a huge negative as well as the language barrier. Probably won't be back.

Beautiful hotel, huge room, very clean and beautiful! Very good food and very friendly staff. The beach is beautiful, full of palm trees and vegetation.

Had a great time here with my wife. Very accommodating. The staff was wonderful. The room was very nice but needs to be updated. Great food great music and entertainment. Can t wait to go back.

An indescribable paradise. You have to know it to believe

My husband and I visited Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana for our honeymoon early this month. Overall we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We drank, we ate and we met lots of great people. We spent many hours floating along in the pool, playing volleyball and drinking all day! The drinks are Good, but not very strong at the pool bars which is probably a good thing honestly. We went on a couple excursions which I recommend booking inside the hotel lobby. Both excursions we went on were spectacular and we felt well guided! Tips are said to be included, but there is certainly an expectation to do so and much better service to those that do. Bring LOTS of small bills! My biggest disappointment was the constant up selling and the relentless push to do the timeshare sales presentation which is not very straightforward or honest in their intentions. Once we got through that we were really able to relax. The best food is on the Now Larimar side! We would return again.

This is exactly what you expect from an all inclusive resort. Spacious rooms, great views, up to date amenities and super clean wherever you go. Whether you want to do nothing or be active, it is here. Be realistic about the food. This is not the choice if expecting a culinary event.
you get decent food, a huge variety and you will walk away full. Room service has been spot on too!

When we first arrived at the resort, we were greeted by a young lady, Paloma, she was very nice and seemed eager to ensure we had a great stay and enjoyed our Honeymoon/anniversary. When we checked in we were advised we had to do the sales presentation which lasted 90-120 minutes. We were told we could not have any excursions booked during this time frame, which my husband and I both agreed to. Our sales presentation was set for Wed at 9:15 am. We were in the front waiting 10 minutes early to ensure we could get it done and out of the way. We sat down with the same lady, Paloma, who checked us in 2 days before. She asked us if we had any excursions booked for the day. We let her know we had parasailing, which the earliest we could go was 11 but we advised her it was not a set schedule we could go any time we wanted, and our snorkeling which was set for 1pm. She became completely rude and unprofessional, stated she told us that we have to be available for the sales presentation for 5 hours and she also said she told us NO EXCURSIONS FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. This was a complete fabrication from the original conversation we had as well as the conversation when I first booked the trip. She was arguing with my husband and I about the 90-120 minutes that we agreed on compared to the 5 hours she is now saying we agreed to. She got her "manager" on the phone and said that's the rules and we will not change them. We were then taken back to the area where you first check in for the presentation and we advised to speak to the manager "Jokeymon". She stated that we signed a agreement that stated we acknowledged that we would have to be there for 5 hours instead of the 90-120 minutes that we agreed upon. We also were not told that we couldn't book any excursions for the day, only during the presentation. Jokeymon was completely rude, unprofessional, and her comments were uncalled for. My husband was VERY upset at this point and demanded to see our signatures that we agreed on 5 hours instead of the 90-120 minutes that was told to us several times. She showed us a word document that was written up by Paloma. That stated something to the effect of "went over". There was no signatures and no documentation to support we were told that it was 5 hours instead of 90-120 minutes. We would of paid full price and never agreed to a 5 hour presentation. That is completely ridiculous to except anyone to waste a full day of vacation on a sales presentation. The way we were treated and belittled and made out to be fools; How dare we be asked to pay the $400 cancel fee for the presentation. I am shocked this was allowed to even happen. Since we wasted 30-40 minutes with Jokeymon arguing over the 90-120 minutes we agreed on compared to the 5 hours she stated we agreed to we went ahead and agreed to do the sales presentation the following day as we were NOT going to pay the $400 difference when we were lied to and mislead by Paloma and Jokeymon. Our morning was ruined, our time was wasted, and the customer service we received was atrocious. The following day we showed up at 10:15am as agreed upon. We were greeted with "I heard about you guys". REALLY?? I assume you allow your employees to speak negatively about customers/potential customers. We did the presentation with Wendy, which guess what, lasted 120 minutes that we agreed on. How dare we asked to pay member fees after how we were treated. We were asked if we received a gift for doing this and we stated no. It's my understanding something should of been offered and quit deserving. This was not the only issue we faced. My toilet was covered in pubic hair, my bed had hair balls between the sheets, my fridge had half drunken drinks in it, my room key stopped working. My first real vacation with my husband in 10 years and this is what we had to go through? Are you kidding me? Worst service I've ever received in my life. I will never go back or recommend anyone else go here. I have plenty more to say, but I am out of room it was that bad. Very disappointing Secrets, VERY DISAPPOINTING.

We arrived on the evening of the 04th January 2018 . On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with cocktails.and very helpful members off staff who explained everything to me. The food our room were clean and immaculate. We were both very impressed with everything. The staff on the beach always made sure you had a drink in your hand. The entertainment team put on a great show each night. I would come again and also recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you

We were just there in January, first time to Punta Cana. Loved it - great pools, beautiful beach, clean property, comfortable room, nice folks. Do agree with other reviewers that they need to work on their sit down food. The breakfast buffet at Now was very adequate!

We were recently at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana for a week's vacation and i have to say that it definitely didn't live up to the reviews I had read before booking it. The worst part of the trip was the relentless houndings of staff to try to get us to listen to their pitch on time shares. Right when we stepped off of our bus from the airport Dennis was trying to get us to sign forms and set up times to meet with him and when we told him we wouldn't sign forms we had not read he made the comment "oh you are the type not to sign anything without reading it first". We immediately told him we weren't interested. At that point they started calling us every morning at 8am to try and meet with us. It wasn't until my husband complained to management that the calls stopped. Then the day before we were to leave we went to the lobby to find out the return time of our bus to the airport. As soon as we stepped into the lobby we were again bombarded with "Freddy" trying to get us to sit and listen about his "great deal". We again told him we weren't interested and that we only wanted to find out the time of our bus the next day.He in turn told us he would help us if we helped him. When we again told him"no" he tossed the airline binder at us and told us we could look up the time of the bus ourselves. This was completely unprofessional and proved to us that we would never return to this resort again.

We also found the food at this resort to be worst of any all inclusive we have ever been to. The buffet is very small and has very limited options. On several occasions the food during the breakfast was under cooked and many guests were complaining. The Seaside Grill was definitely the best restaurant on site and had decent food.

On a positive note, the entertainment staff were great and kept people engaged during the day and at night. We met a some wonderful staff around the pool, at the beach and at the nightly entertainment. The rooms were very nice and spacious and always cleaned. The grounds were well kept and the weather was fantastic as always.

We spoke to many guests that felt the same way about this resort. It is way over priced for what you receive. I am sure our experience is not unique.

Very nice facility with great service. Food and rooms are excellent. Everything is super clean and well maintained. Drinks are plentiful and are delicious, not punched. We do not have a preffered club and still feel like kings, so absolutely not necessary! Lukus you have enough here as a normal guest! All guests very pleasant, nothing level! no grunts at the pool as so often described .. everything was great and really fantastic! The beach was wonderful and the gardens of the hotel are beautiful. Massage in the spa was great too! Everything was great, was worth it

Great resort, very good service, beautiful beach, calm seas, clear water.

Love the pool area, our room, and the service! All inclusive is the way to go! Celebrating our anniversary so we got a banner on our door, a very nice breakfast in bed, and champagne! Room service is 24 hours. The food is ok, some better than others. Drinks are not strong at all, in fact they must use very little liquor! Casino is small but has the basics. Bring Off! I got so many mosquito bites. Don't like being constantly approached to try and sell me a deal, an excursion, etc.

It was the second time at a Secrets resort and overall we had a wonderful 10 days. I would definitely recommend this resort for a relaxing holiday.

Staff:
What we liked the most about this resort was the staff. Everyone in this hotel is hard working but every single member of the staff goes the extra mile to make sure you as a guest have an amazing time. I want to give a shout out to some individuals who really had a positive impact on our stay:

1) Santa and Israel - These two are THE BEST! Not only do they serve the best drinks, they are also the most fun! We loved spending time at the bar getting entertained by these two legends. Give them a promotion, they deserve only the best! Make sure they never intend to leave this resort, it wouldn t be the same without them.

2) The staff at the Sea Side Grill: Aida, Nelson, Luis, Felix, Carlos, Rafael (and the rest of the team)
- We have always been warmly welcomed by Aida and she is a friendly and genuine person. All the other staff at breakfast and lunch times have always been very helpful and always accommodated our special requests. Especially Luis and Carlos were great characters! (And Rafael is handsome!!)

3) The reception staff
- The moment we stepped into the hotel we got welcomed with a great smile from the receptionist and got taken care of. We loved Mily and Luisa at the preferred club reception. Also a shout out to our butler Wilson who solved all of our requests swiftly.

4) The staff at the pool
- These guys have such a hard job and we were impressed by how well they are managing all the work. Big Thank You to Jeffrey at the preferred pool area. He was so friendly & nice and always checked if we are ok or needed anything. Also great work by Junior who just infects you with his positive attitude and smile. Last but not least special shout out to Junior the Security guard at the preferred pool. He is very very good at his job, he is super friendly and guards the preferred area very well!

Food:
Overall, the food at this resort is great. We loved the Himitsu grill the most. Such an awesome experience. We have done it in Mexico before at the Secrets Capri and loved it as much here in Punta Cana. The Massaman Curry was the best I ve ever had. Having said that the Lasagne at the Italian was out of this world. Super delicious. We didn t have a single bad food experience during our stay, you must have hired some great cooks!

Pool & Beach:
The pool area at this Secrets is brilliant, you have areas where it s more lively and loud but you also have parts which are quiet and peaceful. It is great to have a choice depending on your mood. The beach is nice and I don t mind the sea weed (it s nature after all!). My only comment would be that the security guards should speak at least a little bit of English. We went to the beach after we ve checked out and didn t have a room card anymore to prove that we are guests at the resort but the security guards stopped us and we got into an uncomfortable situation where we had to find a member of staff that knew us and could confirm that we are guests.

Room:
The room is good, has everything you need and we loved the hot tub on the balcony. The cleaning staff did a great job as well.

Entertainment:
Overall it was satisfying. We are not so much into all these pool games and activities or the shows at the lobby area but we enjoyed the silent disco and the rock show. As I have mentioned before we spent most time in the evenings with Santa and Israel at their bar. We loved them :)

The only negative aspect about this resort
in general is the proximity to the NOW resort. Our room faced this resort and the preferred pool is directly next to it. It was extremely loud (kids screaming, pool parties with extremely loud music) and it does make the preferred area less premium in my opinion.

Nonetheless, overall we had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff is the soul of this resort and made our stay very special. We would love to come back some day.

This place is beautiful and the service is unbelievable. I highly recommend this place to couples looking for little slice of paradise.

My stay is not over yet ... I feel compelled to share my previous experience. The food, beach and drinks are great! The staff is unfortunately too spoiled and usually expect a tip, otherwise you quickly notice the mood swings between the waiter and the guest (most of them). Today at 9:00 p.m. I called the front desk out there at the pool making workers extremely noisy with several drills at that time, I got an answer: then close your patio door. Excellent! Now you give me a hotel room that I pay extra to "enjoy" the terrace with jacuzzi and I am asked to close the window. The Dominicans have strange habits! Since I'm half Dominican myself, I may be even more critical of it, unfortunately I can't cope with drills and noise during the holidays at this time, especially not in a 5-star resort.

A luxury hotel with all kinds of services. A great experience. Highly recommended to spend the end of the year.

We recently returned from Secrets Royal Beach after leaving 2 days earlier than scheduled due to me getting very sick after eating lunch off of the buffet upon arrival.
We have stayed at multiple Secrts resorts in the Carribean and our expectations were high, as Secrets has always exceeded our expectations across the board. This resort doesn t even come close with the other resorts of this Brand.
The rooms: Old and moldy. When we first arrived to our room, the smell about knocked you over when entering. The bedding was even moist from all of the moisture in the air and poor ventilation. There was mold everywhere. The bathroom, the ceilings, etc. The bathroom was also not the cleanest.
Timeshare Sellers BEWARE: These people are SUPER aggressive. The will harass you if you get within 15 feet of the lobby. They refuse to take no for an answer. They call the room repeatedly as well. We have always encountered the timeshare people at most resorts, this was beyond anything I have ever experienced. We felt that we had to avoid the lobby.
The Beach: Tons of seaweed. The seaweed smells awful as well. This is not the fault of the resort, as they make efforts to remove it early morning and evening. There are TONS of locals trying to sell you everything, including drugs, that come into resort property. If you try and walk to the ocean, they won t leave you alone. They also do not take no for an answer. Total vacation ruiner for us. Since most everyone comes on vacation to relax, between the timeshare people and local vendors, there was no relaxing.
The Food: AWFUL. The food at all of the restaurants we went to... awful. The buffet was small and the food was left out for hours and not kept at proper temps. There were flies everywhere. My husband was served cold, under cooked chicken at one of the restaurants. The shrimp was never cleaned and deveined at any of the restaurants. The cheesecakes were room temp or warm.

There was a ton of inconsistency with bar drinks as well. Not a ton of variety and the liquor is not even close to top shelf.

We have been back for a week and I am still recovering from the food poisoning that I got while there on day one of our vacation.

We will unlikely return to the Dominican, we most definitely would never return to Secrets Royal Beach. If you have been to a Secrets resort and are expecting high quality, do not stay here. You will be beyond disappointed.

The cleaning of the rooms leaves something to be desired. We arrived at 7 pm on the tour. There were no clean towels, the room was not cleaned.
That's because every day I put a plaque for cleaning.
As for food in general and exceptional quality, lots of diversity and quality from breakfast to dinner.
We do not recommend the spa, we pay 160 dollars but the lady who attended me only knows how to apply cream and squeeze massage she doesn't know how to do !! Do not use the very beautiful spa but the professionals are not qualified. Detail the beach and bad too much but lots of seaweed and extremely cloudy water in front of the hotel !!

Nice very spacious hotel. I was there twice in December 2018. In the Preferded Club and also as a normal guest. It s nice and quiet in Preferded. You are served at the pool. Cocktails are ok. But not on German standards. I liked the large pool in the normal area, where you can swim laps around the islands. Food always flawless. Staff friendly, beach clean. Always had WiFi in the room

The best hotel I've ever been to. It's all perfect, the rooms, the service, the beach, the pool, the restaurants. I went to celebrate my birthday and it was a dream, it's paradise, I totally recommend it. Take one day the Balinese bed on the beach with the service of our dear Saint, a super affectionate person, attended us wonderfully. Thanks wholeheartedly to the whole team, we will return without a doubt

The best hotel in Punta Cana! Excellent service and hard working staff. If your going to Punta Cana Secret or Now Larimar is the place to be.

I would consider myself a seasoned traveler with being to Mexico twice, Jamaica 4 times and Punta Cana 3. Secrets has by far the nicest grounds of any all inclusive I've stayed at. The main pool is a little small but the beach is very nice, and regularly cleaned throughout the day. There are many restaurants to choose from and you can also dine at Larimar next door, which is a family resort. DO NOT trust the guys at the SeaPro booth on the beach. We had a Nike hat, $20, and a bottle of medication stole out of our beach bag while we were using the free catamarans, and again while parasailing. I thought I may just have misplaced my hat among my clothes so wasn't concerned at first when I couldn't find it. The next day while parasailing was when the meds and 20 was taken. The bag was never out of our site except while in their "safekeeping". I mentioned it to them the next day. They said they would see if anyone found our items. The buffet food most mornings was not hot and barely warm. The evening entertainment we found boring. The entertainers had good voices, but sang American songs mostly from the 90's. Mostly older crowd with average age I'd guess around 55-60. I'd have preferred a mix of younger folks to liven the place up a little. Good food, friendly employees, great beach and grounds, decent room with a nice balcony and whirlpool tub, but because of our items that were stolen and the sub par entertainment, I wouldn't go there again, unless the entertainment greatly improved. I'm 58 and took my 45 year old girlfriend.

Loved this place and the attention, excelente food.

It's a great hotel, with very few criticisms.

Positive:
- Very clean area, not too huge.
- Seaweed is removed daily and almost permanently, which was not the case in the hotels in the vicinity.
- All inclusive (except spa), minibar, drinks service on the beach, 24 hours. Room service.
- You can register for show cooking for free.
- All the staff are super friendly and helpful.
- Rooms were cleaned every day and in the evening the bed was turned up to sleep.
- You don't need a bracelet or anything like that. Apparently there is only all-inclusive.
- Eating and drinking around the clock.
- pool bar.
- A varied program from fitness to foam parties.
- Lots of water sports on the beach (costs extra), but there are free introductory courses.
- German is sometimes also spoken, but English works much better.
- New shows every day with a lot of Caribbean flair.
- Jacuzzi on the balcony.
- Rooms are large (suites).
- Hotel is not far from the airport, about 30 minutes by car.

Negative:
- Spa very expensive.
- Room slightly moldy / damp.
- Directly by the sea, a lot of sometimes intrusive sellers.

My wife and I visited for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had a great time. We stayed in one of the Junior Suite Swim-Up rooms which was very nice, but literally no difference in the rooms unless you opt for the Preferred Club Master Suite. Our travel agent tried to get us to go for the Preferred Club, but there really didn't seem to be any benefits from what we could see. Everyone ate the same food, drank from the same bars, and received the same drinks (which were great by the way, be sure to try the "Mama"juana, but not too many of these!). While the entertainment provided throughout the day is a lot of fun, we found the shows at night a little corny and somewhat confusing at times. However, the staff works really hard, are really funny, and very good at what they do. I think the only negatives I can say about the resort are the constant pressures to do paid activities and the requirements to where pants and closed toe shoes to most of the restaurants (which is first world problem I know, but it is hot and not very fun having to put on pants). While you'll get a dirty look, they will still seat you if you opt for shorts instead of pants, but shoes are required.

We just returned from our trip to Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana on 9/26. First off a great THANK YOU to our butler " Garciela" for all that you did with decorating our rooms to the wonderful surprises upon our return every night ensuring our trip was romantic
& memorable. We had a small room issue upon check in but the staff took care of it right away. The entertainment staff, every single waiter, waitress, and bartender needs to be recognized as they are all amazing! The entire Secrets team was super helpful and friendly and we couldn't have asked for anything more on this trip. Check in and check out was smooth. The rooms were spacious and very clean and well maintained. Turn down service was awesome as well. The place was beautiful and the nightly entertainment was great. Will Definitely recommend this hotel. Hope to go back Next Year only if Garciela will be available to us.. :-). Thank you Secrets RB PC for helping us make wonderful lifelong memories.

Sooooo good. Place is clean, staff are fantastic, rooms are great, food is great, can't say enough good things. If you get the chance, go there!

Just went for the presentation where they try to sell you vacation packages. I really liked that there were no kids...it was peaceful

Undoubtedly, the best option to rest and spend a very good vacation in Punta Cana.

The rooms are nice and housekeeping does a great job of keeping everything clean.

Service was excellent. The staff seemed to genuinely want to ensure that the guests are enjoying themselves and have every they require.

Food is good, better than at other resorts but still not great. The beach grill is an excellent hidden gem serving lunch. Burgers, Hotdogs, Grilled chicken, salmon everyday and a rotation of lamb and pork.

The booze at the beach and pool bar was low end bar rail stuff with little to no options for top shelf booze.

The beach is BEAUTIFUL!

The pools are, well, pools.

Nightly entertainment is good.

Overall I would recommend this resort and look forward to a return trip.

This place is beautiful but it was not my favorite. The rooms are immaculate and everywhere is beautiful. But it had more of an older crowd. You had to beg for them to get the nicer bottles of liquor for the pool bar- they only left the top shelf at the front of the hotel. The buffet gave everyone the runs all week. Overall, I would stay elsewhere. I have stayed at other places cheaper with better food and better atmosphere than this location.

But as always, the staff was very friendly.

Angel at the swimup bar was incredible. Always friendly and polite. Made the best drinks the entire time!

A hotel of the extra class. Beautiful area, beautiful beach. Here are no wishes left!!! A special thanks to Jonathan, Ana and Rene, you have spoiled us and inspired in your established, friendly way. Here all inclusive gets a completely new meaning. Even on the beach or at the pool you will be served. Even culinary wishes are unfulfilled. Definitely think of a collar shirt, long pants and shoes, for the a la carte restaurants there is a dress code. We will come back, it is worth every meter of the 7500km distance home !!! Beautiful beach! During our stay, lots of sea grass near shore. Workers worked all day to clear. All staff members super friendly. Our room was very spacious and pleny of storage.

The staff, workers, people make this place. So nice. The accommodations are great as well.

11/29/2017: From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Everyone kept saying 'welcome home'. After a quick check in, our baggage was delivered to our room without even asking. The grounds were immaculate, the drinks were cold and the beach was perfect. Entire staff made us feel as if we were the only people there. We are definitely going back!

Just got back from staying here for a week. For our 1st time out of the country and to a resort like this, we loved it. We had access to the Now part of the resort along with our own (Secrets Resort). We were greeted by our fabulous butler Roberto with champagne. He quickly informed us about the hotel and delivered us to our room. It was beautiful and clean (always). He took such good care of us the whole time, with his special little touches, and very accommodating. We would start our day at the breakfast buffet that had a lot of choices. Staff was so friendly, everyone, everywhere we encountered greeted us. We then moved to the beach and preferred pool. The security guard Junior was so friendly. No matter what, he had a smile on his face. He looked after our things and seemed to always know whose things were whose. He was very alert. The pool bartender Jeffrey was amazing also. (To have that many people to serve, he never forgot a drink) He was completely on top of his duties. So friendly also. We loved it here. So many restaurants to try in the evening (some with dress codes) and lots of things to do during the day. If you get bored here...it's your own fault. Entertainment was great too...the fire show was so cool. The beach was beautiful and very well maintained. We did 2 diff excursions, that the hotel helped us set up. We loved them both. Definitely will be return customers and would recommend. (Preferred is the way to go, you will have access to everything!)

Even with all the bad things going on down there, i would still go back to this exact resort. (No other ones, for sure)

The hotel was nice, clean. Staff was helpful and kind. I keep seeing reviews on here regarding language barrier, which is ridiculous. I don t understand how people take points away for the people of the DR NOT speaking English. You re in their country. If you can t understand them don t go there.

David from the swim up bar was a PARTY!!! Awesome Bar tender. Amazing tricks up his sleeve! Also, Nelson was our server for a few dinners, very kind and friendly. Mariano was also very helpful.

The food was pretty good. We ate at the seaside grill twice. The ribeye was great.

Some things that weren t amazing was we got talked into the premier room for extra $, in our opinion it was a waste of money. And the beach. The beach was almost so unenjoyable because of the amount of people selling things. It was constant. You couldn t walk to the water without people with birds and monkeys jumping down your throats for pictures, or people trying to sell fake excursions, sunglasses, jewelry, cigars, I mean it was ridiculous. Out of all the beaches I ve been to this one was the WORST.

Overall the hotel was a great time. Friendly staff, other guests, swim up bar, restaurants all were above average from what I ve experienced at other all inclusive resorts. Recommend!

Beautiful adults only vacation spot. Lots of fun and romance. The beach is soft like sugar sand in your toes and the water is amazing. Secrets had an amazing lazy river to collide in and plenty of places to soak up the sun or take a nap in the shade. Restaurant's and all food was faboulous! We had a terrific vacation!

Amazing service great food lots to do. Ping pong. Played horseshoes on the beach today. Pool table foosball ps4 xbox. Casino with roulette slots and BJ. Great entertainment crew. Bowling later. Restaurats are real 5 star. Rooms are average with most having tubs on deck get 3rd floor for more privacy. Construction right now but its not that bad. Go to Secrets capcana. More expensive but better.

There s a reasons why 4 stars only..
Don t get me wrong, everything was amazing and nice, but.. the jacuzzi in my room wasn t working, the jacuzzi downstairs also wasn t working, the security at the gate need to be a little more professional, also not to many activities available yet.. so there s a tennis court, but no tennis request lol also there s a night club, but it s not working now, so is the casino is not working now. I ve been told they have been closed for 8months and now they are trying to make this place alive again, I wish I knew that most of the things will be under renovation or closed because of COVID.. besides all that, this is dope and super chill place to stay. I think if it wasn t for COVID everything would be on point. As far as customer service I like it very much, but everyone expects a tip from you. They will be super duper nice, and you just gotta give a tip so I suggest you bring a lot of singles dollar bills.. don t change dollars for Dominicans pesos you will be loosing.. there s only one spot to exchange money and that s la casa Blanca . Don t do it at the airport and don t do it at the hotels or market places.. for that just bring small bills with you, like singles, 5s and 10s that s it!! Other than that I highly recommend this resort!!! Major tip advice!!! If you gonna rent a car, please try to get a car with tinted windows.. trust me, you don t want a regular windows in your rented car..

Amazing place! Staff could not be more friendly/fun to be around. The Now Entertainment team is fantastic. Their Fire Show performance was the best show I ve ever seen. Food and views on the beach were outstanding. Thanks again to the staff for making our family vacation great!! Hope to return in the near future

Beautiful resort. Great food. Lots of vendors trying to sell you things, but other than that all of the staff is great. Everyone is very friendly.

Super nice hotel. Very well-kept complex with great swimup suites, adults only. Each room has a jacuzzi on the terrace. Great shows and live music in the evenings. The beach was super clean with a beach bar and service for the guests. The large pool with pool bar was also very nice and totally cheerful bartenders. A large selection of different restaurants and bars. French, Asian, Mexican cuisine, a seafood restaurant, Italian, etc.
Especially nice to have breakfast in the morning on the beach. Around one a very nice hotel complex. I will definitely come again as a guest.

Loved it! Amazing staff, waiters, restaurants, beach beds. Their washroom got bidets, separate toilet compartment, which was great!

Had a fabulous time here!! A beautiful and nice sized beach allowed for plenty is space to relax and enjoy the scenery. Same thing with the pool - able to find lounge space without issue. The food was delicious, and the Seaside Grill was my favorite. Last of all, the people were amazing. Friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their face. Would love to go back to the DR and I would stay here again!

Hotel very nice in every way. Food the best of the other 5 hotels we have been to in Punta Cana. Huge problem of mosquitoes not treated by the hotel that forces us to lock ourselves at dusk, despite the different repellents tried. Small lack of commercial sense in charging 3 hours of use of rooms the afternoon of our departure after a stay of 16 days.

Very well-kept and great hotel. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean and well maintained. All inclusive was really in all areas. Beach was maintained every day. Beach chairs were available at all times and sufficiently. As guests were about 80% Americans and 20% European etc .. Of course you have to adjust to the louder demeanor of the Americans. But it will not be a problem. The types of holiday among you are usually in the separate pool area (cleanliness) access. There is of course no recovery to be expected. Otherwise, it is quiet. Catamaran sailing is free. 23.00 o'clock everywhere rest is announced. We express our biggest thanks to Raquel Torres. She was very friendly and always a great help to us.

Very nice little (unlike the other) hotel. Room very large and clean ... staff all class. Very attentive and loving ... Jairo from the beach bar is great, always fun and always in a good mood ... Great .... The service is great ... No matter where ... food is good. Varied and tasty ... The bars are well-stocked and you get fancy .... The gym is also great ... Everything your heart desires to make good sport .. The beach is daily a few times from seaweed cleaned ... It is the cleanest beach section here ... beach chairs are always enough there ... Whether at the pool or on the beach .... If you want to have it quiet is out of place ... Party and entertainment is the whole day ... It would be nice if there was a section on the beach, where you would have neither music nor party, but only sea noise .... But all in all it is a great hotel ....

Absolutely stunning. Cannot not say enough wonderful things about our stay. Amazing view. The best service staff! A few that stood out were Ana in the front bar, Hilario who was just about everywhere, Marcelino was great about looking out for us, and I could go on and on. Our favorite restaurant was the Riviera buffet because of the views, but Mercure, the French restaurant, was also very good. Overall, a top notch experience.

Absolutely lovely, nice and clean. Quiet.
Staff were excellent, especially all in the seaside grill. Ceaser, Carlos miciais, Nelson, Rafael. Yandailla and elias looked after us very well in the evening at the pool bar.
Elvis our butler was an absolute gentleman.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting and be spoilt, this is the place to go. We look forward to coming back soon x
