Great lunch spot, excited to go back and try dinner!

It was excellent, I enjoyed the roasted vegetables. It was quite expensive, but if you want to go to a place and show off with a flashy ambience and high prices, at least the food is good quality.

Probably my favorite restaurant. Amazing food, totally unpretentious and comfortably casual.

Had a nice lunch. Food had some nice unique flavors and a nice wide variety of choices so we all found something we enjoyed.

Hard to get reservations for dinner, ever. Pretty noisy, cramped seating. Lunch menu isn't anything special. Great grill options during dinner, the rotisserie chicken is worth the $.

Good food, a little expensive. Had a steak dinner, it was a little overdone (ordered med-rare and got closer to med-well), server took it back and the kitchen made a whole new plate for me. Nailed the steak the second time around. Much appreciated.

Cheesecake not that great. Not everyone is a fan of blue cheese, why not a regular alternative?

Food is to die for. Came and really enjoyed my meal so I came back a week later to get it again! Great location and staff is super knowledgeable about the food they are serving. Will be back in the future.

Chief Michael Nobel added his own special touch to every dish tonight and it showed. Best prime rib I have ever tasted and my wife says the same about the bison. Service was attentive and friendly and everything was prompt. Definitely highly recommend

The service was great and as always the food was incredible.

I had the burger and it was so messy I could barely eat it without getting sauce dripping down to my elbow (maybe that's great if you like that kind of thing). And service was a bit chatty. I'm there to visit with my table mates, not the staff. Despite that, the wine was good.

These 5 star reviews are pretty shocking. Went for lunch ...mussels Ok but the fries salty and quite dry. Drink - delicious but we didn t get a visit from the server during the meal so no chance to order a second. Server was very pleasant. Not worthy of a return visit.

What a great disappointment....
Left sitting for 20 minutes without anyone coming to serve us. I had to go to the hostess and inform her. So already the service is very bad.
The menu is limited, nothing much to entice our taste buds. But I ordered the chicken Greek salad which had only 3 pieces of chicken and a piece of feta on top and so many olives. The salad was drenched with dressing.
My friend had the Thai bowl which she said was mostly noodles.
The place is dark and tables close together.
I have been here before but this is the worst time. I WON'T be coming back ever.

A little overrated. The interior is dated and the food was subpar considering the price. Still a good place to go, but maybe not for the price or hype.

Our waitress Sydney was amazing, my boyfriend and I eat out a lot at places like this and always look for "real, honest, down to earth servers that don't fake it, Sydney was a good one !!! Great food , great atmosphere highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!! Ask for Sydney

Food is excellent, a bit expensive but that's to be expected at a place like this. Good ambience, lose a star because it's loud but that's kinda part for the course these days.

I was at Notable for an event in the back room. Nice an quiet compared to the restaurant. The food was amazing!

Food was fantastic, best eggs benedict I've ever had! Everything was fresh and prepared well. Atmosphere was nice, staff was very courteous and attentive. Will be back to try a few more dishes.

One of the best expeience I've ever had at a restaurant that treats you special from the moment you walk in right through till the time you leave.

A Calgary must-go. Food was amazing, service was the best I ve had in Calgary since I moved here almost a decade ago. Loved the atmosphere: from the moment we walked in, we were so well taken care of. Our service was quick, recommendations were honest (and delicious!), and the food was second to none. Can t wait for our next visit!

We have now been to the NOtaBLE Restaurant a couple of times. The food has always been exquisite, with exceptional service. The last time we were there we had the tuna, which was cooked to perfection. The wine list was extensive and the service was amazing. Who knew such a restaurant was "tucked away" in the N.W. If you are looking for an excellent dining experience....check out NOtaBLE, you won't be disappointed.

For our first visit to NOtaBLE, we arrived at 10:55am for our 11:00am brunch reservation. We were kept waiting outside in -15 degrees weather, with a senior citizen in our party and fully visible to staff as they ignored us until several minutes after 11:00am. Our orders of over easy eggs came with hardened yolks, so when our server asked how things were we let her know it was good but the eggs weren't as we ordered them. She said "hm" and left, with no follow up. We then waited a long time for our cheque, and waited an even longer time for the server to bring the machine. Very disappointed in the tepid service and food for a restaurant with such an excellent reputation.

Beautiful and delicious food. Not cheap. But good quality ingredients and talent shouldn't be cheap.

Cosy and quiet atmosphere, good for having a conversation without having to scream. Great variety of wines and delicious food. It's on the expensive side though, paid around 160$ (including tip) for 2 main dishes, 1 bottle of wine and 1 dessert. Was it worth? Yup

Love the open kitchen. We sat by the fire on this rainy cold fall day. The whole restaurant smells like campfire. My favourite. Lots of booth sweating throughout with very tall backs for a very private dining experience. Staff was very attentive. The carrot cake with pineapples tastes like a fall day. It was perfect.

We had a great lunch here. The food is always consistent. Love it.

I've had some top notch meals at this restaurant and always look forward to visiting. I just want to pass along that the chef's choice short rib special this past weekend did not live up to their usual distinction. The slices of meat were tough and hard to cut even with our steak knives. I left quite a bit on my plate and mentioned it to the waitress who said she would tell the chef, but we didn't hear a peep back from that court. Others in our group were very satisfied with the menu items they chose. I just wish that our concern had been addressed instead of ignored. The food is not cheap here and I expect more from NOtaBle.

The lovely ambiance and the amazing food food aside, my partner and I received the most exceptional customer service from Notable that involved 3 staff members - Ashley (who picked up the phone and was super willing to help), the restaurant manager and even their accountant. Not only was Ashley willing to hear us out describing this unusual predicament, she single-handedly got the manager and accountant involved and resolved our problem within 10-15 minutes of my call. What was even more exceptional is that I would've totally understood if she or the restaurant couldn't help us at all, as it wasn't the restaurant's fault in anyway. But because they were so focused on providing an excellent customer experience, Ashley and the team took it above and beyond and helped us out and provided us with the best resolution possible. Thank you Ashley, you really were exceptional and I only wish great things for you!

P.S. Management, please let Ashley know what a great job she did if she doesn't see this :)

This restaurant is a real Calgary gem. The staff are genuine and the food is pure prairie with a love of great beef and chicken. Take a walk along the river when you're finished your meal!

Went here for a business lunch. Excellent food along with very good service. Wait times can be long so don't expect a quick power lunch but the food is well worth it.

I had lunch here and the food was great. Pricing is a bit high for most lunches but I felt the food was good enough to warrant a premium. I love the fire they use to cook most food and would really like to return for dinner. Lost one star for mediocre value and slow initial service.

Great food, great service, great value. Our server Phil was very knowledgeable about the food and drink we had, and very friendly. Food was quick, and the chicken I ordered might have been the best I ve ever had! The only thing I would suggest is a little better ventilation system as it was very smoky inside but I enjoyed the smell from the open fire. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, bar level sound for music could be lowered to match classy food menu. We had the lobster app. Also the dungeness crab app. Soo yummy..mmmm.... Only suggestion is please provide a duplicate serving of bread to scoop up the sauce that comes with crab- its better then forcing clients to order more bread and getting in another charge..Prices a little high for an appetizer considering amount given-for lobster... However, still delicious!.... Good customer service... Interesting facts about the water charity work... Ask them. The apricot desert was omg-wow! :D we live near and although its so odd to have a place like this here-its great-lucky us! Many alchoholic drink options however be advised the soda pop is grizzly from canmore and almost 5 dollars. Would recommend others to try it but it would be a novelty for us:-)

This restaurant just keeps creating interesting, seasonal and spectacular food. We come frequently for lunch, dinner or brunch. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. The drinks are also tadty, imaginative and wonderful. I highly recommend Notables for any occasion.

Truly fantastic food and very understanding staff. My family has numerous allergies and the staff was able to accommodate every need. The layout and decor is fantastic, every corner has fine details to explore.

Excellent restaurant, not a huge selection of items but good food.

All of the food we tried tasted very very good.

Portion sizes were inconsistent. Be sure to ask when you order so you don't end up with a delicious but tiny meal.

Avoid peak dinnertime. The wait for a table was 93 minutes. Tables are close together and there was a lot of background noise.

As for the rest of the restaurant, loved the open kitchen but also had a heavy smokiness to the air inside the restaurant which I was a bit sensitive to. Salmon burger: clearly made from real salmon because of the chunky texture. The bread was nicely grilled and the sauce was mildly spicy which was a good balance with the sweet mango slaw.

Really enjoyed the 10 oz flatiron steak. Finished off with the Stilton Cheesecake and rhubarb compote. A great evening. I'll go again.
