Great meal. Really friendly with our kids. Warm and cozy interior. Will definitely return regularly.

Really fantastic service, food was quite good, didn't have anything vegan on the menu unfortunately, however the chef's were able to make this grilled veg dish for me rather than just having fries.
Nice quiet Atmosphere for lunch, and delicious food
It was just great, as usual. The lamb sirloin was amazing and very tender. As a famous man once said, "I'll be back".
I've been here once. It was a good experience. That being said, I wouldn't make an effort to drive across the city just to go to this place. However, if I was in the area again then it would be a fine choice for dinner.
Came in for a bigger party, and it was handled incredibly well. Would definitely come back again
It was very pricey and the steak I got was not the best one I've ever had and it was definitely the most expensive. There are better places to go for a lot less.
Wow amazing sefvice, food and atmosphere! Best Burger of my life!!
I cleansed my palette and purged my stomach in anticipation of my visit. The potato appetizers (I forget their name) were delicious, but my rotisserie chicken was a disappointment. It may have been because expectations were high, or because of unrelated emotional turmoil, but the chicken tasted like it was from a chain restaurant, bland in the end. The noise in the establishment detracts from a "Fine dining" atmosphere.
I would only recommend this restaurant to someone trying to impress a date way out of their league (with good hearing).
Fantastic food and very warm and welcoming service. Amazing.
I have always been fond of this place.
However, It was after months That I thought to re-visit with a couple of friends.
The food quality and staff behaviour have changed drastically for the worse! We weren t impressed at all.
lively staff and lovely flowered patio and entrance. beutiful open observable kitchen weekend brunch and all day delishous artisan local yummy inspiration.
Food is always consistent. I like that they do not serve any meat that is past its prime on the rotisserie that day.
Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and pleasant service.
Outstanding FOOD...OK Service. I came as a single person. The place was a mad house.. I was told the wait is about 45 minutes. So far so good. I proceeded to the bar to have a glass of vino. The hostess then suggested she has a table for me yet asked to have it back in 'less then an hour'. I was never presented with that proposition. As if I control the rate of speed in which food leaves the kitchen. Reluctantly I said OK. The food was very good yet I felt rushed out of there and did not have a chance to have a second glass of wine or a dessert. My grade to Notable is 8/10.
I had a dinner last night. I don't know what I ate. The kitchen had a wooden oven, and the front side was opened. To be honest, I don't care what it is. The smoke covered inside the whole restaurant. After 10 mins, it took away my palate, my nose became blind and it caused me headache. I suffered whole night. I could see the food was balanced. What's the point? I couldn't taste it anymore. Only I was not paying for only food, but I paid also for the experience. It's not worthy for a dime and it's very Notable!
The food, it's why you go out and why I'd recommend Notable. It was mouth watering and absolutely delicious. The owner/chef was there and asked how our dinner was as we left, nothing short of amazing. Worth the price.
Clearly taking the proper covid precautions. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Wagu brisket sandwich is next level amazing , serving size is perfect and server was amazing. Cant recommend this place enough 10/10
Extremely bad and unfriendly service. The manager was unprofessional and did not put any effort to understanding his costumer after a full 1 hour wait. This was a first time experience and last time for sure
Outstanding meal, service and beautifully appointed restaurant.
Amazing food and drinks as usual.
I am celiac and there are tons of gluten free options. They have a dedicated frier (yay, fries!) And their potato rolls for appetizers are incredible and naturally gf!!
Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
One star too many. Management here has changed for the worse.
Fantastic food. Great service. Biggest issue is deciding what to get. Go if you are a meat lover. Tenderloin is expencive. But the portion and quality of the meat makes it justifed
Very clean restaurant, food Is delicious and fresh. Options for vegetarians and lots of variety on the menu for everyone to enjoy. They even have plenty of underground parking, no charge!
A very unpleasant experience. Communication and honesty is key in any custoner experience. I was denied both. I waited for over an hr when it was initially communicated that a table would be 20mins. I was not kept informed that there may be a further delay and an apology wasn't even offered. A very disappointing first experience.
The best restaurant in the city. I go here with my wife for every special occasion. I would highly recommend NOtaBLE and The Nash!
Great local spot for lunch, dinner or drinks. Top notch service and delicious eats; highly recommend.
Had an amazing dinner there with my boyfriend for our date night on a friday. First time here at Notable. Our server Jacquelyn went through the menu with us and gave us little details on what came with the food and how it was made. Answered all of our questions. She check in on us occassionally and asked how our food was. The chefs did an amazing job on the food overall. I would give this place a 10/10 and definitely coming back for more to try other food on the menu. the Pineapple carrot cake with ginger ice cream is worth the sweet tooth
This is an epic restaurant the chicken wings are fabulously awesome not like bar wings or chinese along with the rest of the food awesome chef
Food was decent-especially the appetizers. But the bar service was slow, and they do not know how to make a Negroni if it slapped them in the face. I'm always amazed how a supposedly high-end restaurant can have such terrible servers. Slow, unfriendly, and wanted us out of there by 10, and still expect a 20% tip on a 600$ meal.
Give me a break- and realize that you are lucky even to have a job in this economy. Anyways, I'm done with this place. Third time here and the service is always poor, the food mediocre and uncreative, loud acoustics and hit and miss cocktails, with a high price tag. However the Burger is exceptional, so if you must come here, come during Burger week.
Wood fire meats. Great food in general, one of my favorite fancy dinner places. Very recommend, if you have not all ready tried.
Just as the last time I visited here the food was amazing! My twin sister and I chose to come for our birthday dinner. I had the duck breast on a friend's recommendation and it was to die for! Their house wine matched up perfectly with it and the sides were absolutely delicious.
This may very well be my favorite restaurant in Calgary.
Really REALLY good food and super nice people. It's pretty expensive though, however I suppose they're a higher class area though (don't look across the street, bowness is weird because half is fancy, half is ghetto)
Sat at the bar and it was great watching the chef on the grill although it definitely got hot after a bit. One of the best cocktails I have ever had - hotel Nacional. We got a set menu that night and it was pretty delicious. It was pricey but worth it for a quality meal. Love that they have underground parking for customers and the vibe was classy but chill. I docked a star because the only thing that would bring me back is the cocktail, even though the food was delicious it wasn't memorable now that I am writing this review a few months later. Maybe the scandal with the Chef tainted this review, who knows but I'm not hurrying back for some reason.
Oh man... The food in this place is delicious. I had the tuna sandwich and it was awesome. The meatloaf burger was also very tasty. Love trying new places and this is one of the must tries in Calgary!
Place is over crowded seating is way to close to the next person. Service isn't the greatest.
Came here for brunch, loved the roast pork hash, so delicious.
Smoke house menu. Food well prepared and served hot. Wine list is adequate for all palates. Price point on the high side but staff very attentive. Noise levels high but good atmosphere.
My first time there last night celebrating my girlfriends birthday. We arrived there at 8 pm with reservations. We were seated immediately. The server Jacquelyn was very Attentive and knowledgeable of the Wine and food menu. We started of with the potato rolls which Jacquelyn suggested, good choice. My girlfriend ordered the lamb sirloin medium rare , and I ordered the flatiron done medium. We also shared a side of a best tasting risotto I've ever had. The the risotto was creamy and cooked perfectly. Overall the donning experience was excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary for quite a while, tonight's porchetta and accompaniments were a bit dry and not up to the same standard I've had previously. Service is good and the ambience tends to be a bit on the noisier side due to the interior design.
I had been to this restaurant several years ago on New Year Eve. Aside from the fact that we were charged a ridiculous cover charge per person ($50 - NOT including any food), I thought the food tasted decent.
My husband and I decided to go back tonight for our 15 year wedding anniversary and I was SO incredibly disappointed. First, we were seated at this teeny tiny table for 2. I understand that we don't need to take up a huge amount of space however being comfortable while having a meal would be nice. PLUS, it was only 5pm so a lot of the restaurant was empty. No need to be squished at a tiny table like that.
Don't even get me started on the food. I had the chicken confit ravioli. The dinner portion was $25 and didn't include any sides. When the dish was brought out, I thought it was a joke. There were NINE thin ravioli in the dish. Nine whole pieces of thin noodle. Oh and it was EXTREMELY salty....and I like my food salty so that's saying a lot.
My husband ordered the chop salad and the certified angus prime rib (which he was told was medium rare). The chop salad was okay (nothing to write home about) and the steak was WELL DONE. So well done in fact that there was ZERO pink whatsoever. It was tough and under seasoned. It's a little sad when the best part of your prime rib dinner is the sauteed veggies.
The restaurant was very smoky. My eyes were burning after only being in there for about 10 minutes and we both left smelling like a campfire.
Very disappointing. Completely underwhelming and overpriced. Not to mention, I had to go home and cook myself dinner after paying $90 for dinner. Bad experience all around.
Such a great place. Food is the tops, drinks are just a little extra (in a good way), and it's bigger on inside than it looks on the out
This was our first time here but I guarantee we will be back. We went for lunch for a special occasion and we were not one bit disappointed. Loved the atmosphere and the food... the food was incredible, no other way to describe it. We had the soup to start which was a southwest steak soup, my mouth is still watering thinking of it. Then I had the pulled pork pizza bread which was the special and was amazing! The friend had the apple wood smoked turkey panini which she absolutely loved. The cheesecake and coffee for dessert finished things off nicely. Topped that off with having Laura as our server made for an excellent experience. I highly recommend NOtaBLE for any occasion you will not be disappointed.
Possibly the biggest feature of this restaurant is the wood fire rotisserie displayed proudly at the front, and that's likely because it produces wonderfully-rich and luxurious flavours. They work in that magic to many entries on the menu, from bread to pasta, and it all works brilliantly.
I've been here a few times now, and it's been great for lunch, brunch, or dinner. Great atmosphere and always kind staff. It does get busy, so consider a reservation.
Great food. Great service. Portions are decent. Price is up there though.
Awesome! I honestly can't think of anything to improve. Love this place.
I like this place. Great food. Had the pork hash with over-easy eggs, avocado and a delish sauce that was a little spicy. Just the right amount if spice. Large serving! Very delicious! Took some home and had snack in the afternoon. Can't beat that! Good price, too. Which is even better.
I would highly recommend the brunch.
One of the best restaurant in the city. Had a good time with the family after a long time
I cannot count how many times I've been here. Every single time is amazing. Reliable and excellent value for such high quality food. Simply my favorite restaurant hands down. You have to try the coconut curry muscles if nothing else.
If I could leave 10 stars I would. I think the photos speak for themselves.
This string of recent bad reviews all have recent 5 star reviews for 'The Wash King" LOL! Must've got all his friends from work to one star this place... ha,ha,ha Very sad!
Fantastic food, great cocktails, nice decor. A range of pricing to fit most budgets for a nice meal. Casual relaxed atmosphere. Very good service. Very loud during peak times. Overall one of my favorite restaurants in Calgary.
Food is hit or miss, have had some good meals, but noodle bowl is absolutely terrible. Tasteless and over cooked noodles but undercooked veggies. Sauce also tasteless
Our first dinner at NOtaBLE, definitely won't be the last. First class service and a meal to die for. Absolutely delicious!!!
Great atmosphere and great food. The smell inside is a treat.... Love it! Definitely will be back, one star deduction as was told to go earlier for lunch and order the special...which we did. Unfortunately they had no special today, but we'll be back!
Best steak I've had in all of Calgary, and the seared scallops taste fresh out of the sea! Definitely recommend as a high end steakhouse
This is another restaurant in my top 10 of the best restaurants in Calgary. I love the place as it is very "rustic". As soon as you walk in you see the huge wooden oven where they make most of their dishes. Their dishes are delicious, as they combine things that you could never imagine would go together and the result is incredible. The staff is very friendly and have great recommendations as they eat there all the time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great quality and a great culinary experience. This is a bit on the pricey side, but I don't mind. (aprox. $75 per person)
Always a wonderful experience to be here . Food is amazing.
It's pretty good, but also pricey. Service was excellent.
Very busy and still received amazing service. I ordered the chickpea dahl and it was one of the most amazing meals I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Everyone else at the table loved their meals as well. Prices are quite high but well worth the splurge! If you are looking for a night out with friends with a fun atmosphere I highly recommend. One of my new favorite restaurants.
The food here is always fantastic. The beer selection could be better.
This a lovely restaurant with great food and good service. The food is expensive but it is well cared for. We have been many times and love the prime rib on Thursday nights. What really bugs me is they put very little jus on your roast and then charge $4.00 extra when you ask for more. This just seems cheap and wonder what is that all about. The prime rib is already $50.00 so why chinz out with jus?
Smokey environment leaves you smelling like a camp fire. The food is about average for a place like this. Service is on par for what it should be.
Great food and amazing menu. The atmosphere is catchy and unique.
The reason I gave them 2 stars only is the service which was remarkably poor. We had a notable guest speaker from New York with his wife and we were really embarrassed with the quality of service. The waitress hardly smiled and she was rude in answering our questions. The food was delayed for quite a bit of time. It took about 3 hours to finish our meal. Such high quality food with high pricing should be complemented with good service. Some work is needed.
Excellent service at lunch today! Delicious meal and great atmosphere!
One of the best restaurants in Calgary. We made reservations as this place is a popular choice. The service and menu were excellent! I am looking forward to my next visit! There was some exterior construction at the time of our visit, this had no impact on our experience.
Great food and a great place to celebrate an anniversary.
Really disappointed, usually I always have a great experience here but Sunday night was horrendous. My steak was overcooked, my friends was undercooked (she sent it back, waiting an additional 10 mins for it while our food got cold) and the duck was also overcooked. Our waitress was scatterbrained, we had to ask for things 2-3 times (the tempanade, cream/sugar). She didn't even bring us cutlery after taking ours from appetizers, and when she did, she brought everyone butter knives - reminder, 2 of us had steaks.
Service was exceptional but food was not as great as raved about. Pork chop was half fat. Very expensive for the value.
Not too happy with this place. $28 for 2 scallops is pricey in my mind. It tasted very good but what bothered me was the wait staff we had. She laid down one menu for two people, rushed off, came back for drink orders, delivered drinks and then we didn't see her for about 20 minutes. When she showed up to take our order, she was curt and falsely friendly. Screwed up our order and when I pointed it out became very snippy. She took away the second order (which we had't originally ordered) and we never saw her again. Had to chase her down for a second glass of wine. When she arrived to take the payment, she told me that they NEVER do separate billing. Asked for separate billing and when we got the bill she had charged us for the mixed up order, so extra billed. She was really rude at this point and when I talked to a manager about it, he said he would look into it but I realized as I left that he wouldn't have even known which waitress I was speaking about. Couldn't care less, won't be back. There are lots of restaurants in Calgary to chose from.
First time eating at NOtaBLE, my friend treated me for my birthday dinner after going out for the first time since the pandemic and wow, what an amazing experience. The service was outstanding, our server Terry was so pleasant, polite and made the experience outstanding. I ordered the Rosemary Grilled Alberta Lamb, had an amazing cocktail, had wine at dinner and the dessert was just the icing on the cake. I want to just say a big thank you and also thank you for making sure all the customers were safe during this time.
Amazing service and some good food. Steak is a little overpriced for the taste. I had a 50$ ribeye and it didn't taste that great, I've had better at home. The dessert is amazing highly recommend.
