My day started with me having a wreck with total loss situation. I was in new of a replacement fairly quickly. I was impressed with this dealership from the start. I greeted on arrival but they did not hover. I was free to look but when I asked about a car...they had keys in hand ready for test drive. Bill Carter was teaching a new sales rep. He was able to get me in and out quickly while explaining to the car features to me and paperwork to his "shadow"( sorry..can't remember the young lady's name). Finance was great. The gentleman was able explain offers available to me. I qualified for an extended warranty on a used car. He was able to inform me on Gap insurance options. If I had financed gap through insurance company vs dealership, insurance company would charged a 500 deductible on Gap. Dealership does not. Friendly staff, informed staff, and competitive car prices. Will use again

Horrible experience. I decided on a Lincoln MKZ Black Label which wasn t available in state, but I decided to give this Lincoln dealership in Little Rock a chance to see if they could transfer one in for me. The salesperson, Hosea seemed friendly at first, but then when he realized he couldn t sell me the models he had on the lot, he thought insulting me would somehow work. He started comparing the Black Label to some of their models and accused me of not knowing what I want. Insults are not the way to sell a vehicle. I eventually went out of state to Austin, TX for the exact vehicle I wanted. Then I decided to give these guys another chance by going there for my service needs. This time, I dealt with Tia, who is their Lincoln specialist. She incorrectly tells me the warranty services on my car are not transferable from the original owner and rudely tells me to deal with the Lincoln dealership closer to where I live, Trotter Ford Lincoln. Never returning here, their service is horrible from the sales department to the service area. I did end up going to Trotter Ford Lincoln where they have excellent customer service!

This is my first time ever posting on a Google rev...

This is my first time ever posting on a Google review. I feel so compelled to berate this place, it has driven me to waste my time writing this.

Your service is utter garbage! 3 different times I have called your establishment with the intent of having basic service done to my 2014 Mustang. Each time has been the exact same result: I have been transferred around to different departments, nobody seems to have a clue where the service department even IS IN YOUR BUILDING, and the one time your phone system puts me in the correct department, the individual in service spent most of the time laughing in the background, rather than assist me.

She repeatedly asked me "what was that," In between laughing and not paying attention to a word I said. We have been a Ford family for 3 generations (2 of which I personally had ORDERED brand new here in the states, as well as overseas, and two were purchased used), and have never been so embarrassed to be an advocate for Ford, until receiving your service (or lack thereof).

I will be up-channeling this accordingly to the main Ford outfit, but I wanted people on here to be aware of my misfortunes, (and avoid this place at all costs) in the mean-time.

-Mike

I made an appointment online but was told when I arrived that they don't go by appointments made online.
I'd already been in the bay for several minutes with people making eye contact but not offering to help. I then moved inside only to receive the same response. Everyone looked unhappy and overworked.
After an almost unacceptable wait time I was told that I would need to leave my car for the weekend or bring it back on Monday. I brought it back on Monday and everyone was much more friendly. A woman named Karmen helped me, didn't excellent job, was very informative and friendly. A decent ending after such a bad start.
Summary: don't trust online appointments and don't take your car in on Friday.

I went to North Point this past weekend and I had ...

I went to North Point this past weekend and I had the absolute pleasure of working with 2 gentlemen, Mike Roman the sales guy and then Travis Johnson (I believe) was the finance guy. When buying a vehicle, there are plenty of horror stories out there, this was NOT one of them! When my wife and I got there, Mike treated us with the utmost respect and never once did we feel pressured at all. After several days of texts, emails, and phone calls prior to Saturday, there was still some minor confusion on the options and availability on the vehicles I was trying to choose between. Finally, Mike reminded me of the criteria that I presented him with and had forgotten myself, he not only found the one vehicle that matched every requirement but made sure he had it there in stock prior to my arrival. After the dealing and price point was reached, it was on to Travis for the financial side. Having bought a few vehicles in my adult life, I can tell you from experience that financial stuff has never been a swift and or easy process until this past Saturday! Travis had us in and out in no time. Prior to going through the additional options, he asked us what we needed, what we would be willing to consider. There were a couple times he said out load as he was reading: "No, you do not need that, I am not even going to bother!" That tells me that he understood our needs and did not try to sell on anything that he understood we would not want, need, or have interest in. That is a rarity these days! I can say with absolute sincerity that the buying process with Mike Roman, and Travis Johnson was not only swift and easy but it was a pleasure and memorable! If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, I would recommend these guys every day of the week!

Here at McLarty Ford. Just purchased a Ford Fusion. I would like to thank Norman Tindoll for a wonderful experience. He made me feel very comfortable on the test drive and had all my paperwork in order when I arrived. If you are looking for a new/used vehicle he is the person for the job.

My experience was good and I will use their services again. I took off one star because it took 10 days for my car to be fixed, and that was too long. Otherwise my experience was great. I was greeted warmly and allowed to express my car concerns freely. Notes were accurately taken on what to check for and my car was repaired and is now running well. Thank you, McLarty service team for a job well done.

Very nice, fast service. I was slightly disappointed over a fee being charged that was not disclosed. I think you should have the option of deciding to pay a 48 dollar shop fee to basically throw away towels or to go elsewhere that does not have a 48 dollar shop fee. Vehicle repairs are costly, I dont like hidden fees.

Beware "Internet Price = Bait-and-Switch". To get a financing deal you have to pay full price ($13K more than internet advertised price). Or you can pay a whopping 10% interest rate to get a price $3K higher than the internet advertised price (which oops - is wrong). I am sure there are great deals here, but really should be better quality control than this for posting. Doesn't feel right.

I recently purchased a 2013 King Ranch F-150 from this dealership and couldn't have been more pleased. The entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The services were expedited and the paperwork was breeze. I drove off the lot knowing I had been treated right. I want to give a shout out to Billy Yarberry, David Crayne. Great service, thanks guys!

Went in to get master code for my car door. Receptionist called someone and that someone told the receptionist to tell me that I had to go back to my dealership to get the master code. That was a lie any authorize Ford dealership can get the code by pulling the VIN number it's a courtesy, does it cost anything, I am very disappointed with McLarty as I was going to be bringing them all of my business with my new car that I purchased at their affiliate in Texarkana I will not be doing anything with McLarty in North Little Rock I am very disappointed in the level of service that I received which was absolutely none. 0 star rating. Very poor customer experience.

My vehicle broke down on the side of the road I hadn't told you McLarty Ford so far it's taking 6 days to fix a fuel injector. The service writers don't call you back they don't tell you what's wrong with your vehicle estimated time of completion nothing. I have never in my life experienced the worst dealership for service in my life it's the name Justin

I have had nothing but issues with my 2014 Ford Fo...

I have had nothing but issues with my 2014 Ford Focus bought at this dealership when it was North Point and now owned by McClarty. The shudder is a constant issue and has been replaced the fourth time in 5 years along with the 10 recalls the car has had in the same amount of time. Three years I still had a power train warranty until the fourth time when I was a couple thousand miles over the limit. We fought them to get the repair done free of charge since we were told it wouldn't be fully covered. Only after speaking with management was it free of charge. The lug nuts are swollen and no one can take them off except Ford so we had to buy brand new lug nuts for all tires just so we can get a more affordable oil change and tire rotation. Everything is expensive and unless you ask what each fee will be you will be charged a lot in shop fees and taxes on top of expensive parts. I recently had my car die in a parking lot and had it towed to McClarty. It was kept for a week for them to tell me that they were finally able to work on it Wednesday evening. I was told that my car parking lights were left on to drain the battery. It took them until Friday to finally realize that my car battery cells weren't maintaining charge and the car died in their parking lot. I asked how much the battery would cost and I was told by Glen $199 and he would prorate the battery since I was there all week. I found out later that they had a battery for $99 online with a coupon. When I asked why I wasn't offered the less expensive battery i was told by him that it wasn't a good enough battery for my car. More like it wasn't as expensive! I was also hit with a shop fee I wasn't told about on top of the $133 diagnostic fee he mentioned just for them to tell me that the battery wasn't working. Then came the taxes I was told about. Glen then proceeded to tell me that he was doing me a favor and prorated the battery so that I wouldn't be spending over $400. That really upset me. The battery itself ended up being about $125. Well I feel completely taken advantage of and I refuse to ever return or ever buy a Ford again! Now I have to buy a brand new car because this one is absolutely terrible and isn't lasting past 5 years. Thanks for the legendary experience!

do not ever buy a car from these crooks!!!!!

do not ever buy a car from these crooks!!!!!
they lie, bait and switch, and are the definition of "CAR SALESMAN" I had the whole deal done, we signed paperwork, guy programed my cell phone in the car. we were done. then all of a sudden he couldn't give me what he said on my trade and the payment went up 100$ a month.

Stupid crook (car salesman), Lexx, was his name and he kept using christian references and "God Bless." Maybe he should realize that Christians don't lie and cheat out their customers----
DON'T BUY HERE!

It is full of Don Ready car salesmans "The Goods, Live Hard, Sell Hard"

I am very happy with my vehicle. The buying process was pleasant and I was pleased with the price. Once the paperwork is signed, however, is where the customer service ends. After a problem with an accessory that was supposed to be added to my vehicle (the item that was agreed to was not installed--a different version was), and it was brought to their attention. What could have been a minor issue has unfortunately cost them one customer and probably will cost them many more. I get MANY compliments on my vehicle and I tell everyone the same thing: I love the vehicle, but avoid North Point Ford at all costs. If you do choose to buy from them, get EVERYTHING in writing.

My recent experience with the service department a...

My recent experience with the service department at North Point Ford, was my first since purchasing the car in February. I received a high quality service but I also had a two hour wait, in spite of the fact that I had an appointment. It was tire balance & rotation, an oil change, and they check the brakes & fluids. Very comprehensive check of my car.
Since this is my FIRST new car I was uncertain as to what to expect. So it is possible that this wait time may be the normal or average. It just seemed lengthily to me.
It was, however, my first positive experience with the staff since my original salesman left.

Awful experiences twice now with this location. First time, I drove into ask them to take care of a problem with my vehicle. They told me it would be 2 weeks before they could even look at my car. I went to Russell Chevrolet and they had it fixed in 1 hour.

Second time, I called ahead. They told me on Friday to bring it in Monday morning. When I arrived this morning, I was given a host of excuses. They would have to hold it till tomorrow at least. When I asked about a loaner car they say they don't do that anymore. When I pointed out an associate told me they'd be able to help me today Justin who was dealing with me, blamed it on the call center.

I will NOT give them business and suggest you not either. They are making assumptions since I am driving a late model 1990's Mercury Grand Marquis I don't have money. It's my grandfather's late car and I will not do business with a location that seems too busy or too snobbish for my business.

FORD-LINCOLN should remove their name from this location!

While traveling from Memphis to Little Rock my truck suddenly lost power and could only go 12-14 mph. I had it towed to McLarty Ford and got there about 11:00 AM on April 11th. Justin in the service department personally helped me and got a shuttle driver to take me to my intended destination near Maumelle.

I expected to have an overnight stay since I got my truck to them so late in the morning and especially not knowing what was wrong with it. By around 3:00 PM Justin called to let me know my truck was ready. To say the least they exceeded my expectations. I live 2 hours away from North Little Rock but if I ever need service again in that area I will certainly return to McLarty Ford!

Where do I start, I bought a used Ford Focus with ...

Where do I start, I bought a used Ford Focus with only 32,000 miles on it and the next day I notice the "shuttering/slippage" from 1st into 2nd gear which was usually coupled with a slight grinding noise. Shortly after, I brought the car into the service department since I was fully covered at this point. I was told after 2-3 days that it was a "software" update, nothing mechanical or leaks, and that the problem was fixed. I knew there had to be more to it than a computer system since everybody acted so secret and uninformative of the problem, but I went along. There very next day my wife has the orange check engine light come on leaving the house. I assumed that a technician tripped a sensor, but was told it was a faulty fuel line. About 3-4 months later the problem with the slippage begins to creep back. I took it in about a month ago for an oil change and rotation. When I was taken in the shop to view my tire tread wear, the reason I was told I didn't need a rotation, the two techs showed me how my rear main engine seal was leaking. I could see that it was around the flywheel cover, not a rear main seal, and I'm not a "trained technician" but they said they would take care of it for me anyway. I scheduled to bring it in on Monday and asked if I would receive a rental car for the lengthy repair, I was told maybe, but during the weekend the orange check engine light came on again. On Monday I brought it in and again asked for a rental car, but was told the "rental guy" wasn't there and I would get one the first chance he comes in. After 3 days in the shop no word and my wife demanded we receive rental car after she was told we would have to be on a list(we asked twice before to be on list and were denied), she finally got one. The next day we were told the check engine light was for O2 sensors(which were replaced) and that the leaking was not the engine and instead around clutch(like I expected in the shop) which was part of this larger recall which involved replacement of faulty seals and update to PCM. My understanding in the letter about PCM which did not mention seals is PCM update is not a fix only that it would tell me that it is acting faulty. I was told by service department a seal could not be received until 5-6 weeks(2 weeks to go) and that it was okay to drive until then. Right now the slippage problem is rough at every take off, I can hear the grinding which can only be something that will hurt me terribly later, and I worry about my wife driving it everyday. She says it scares her in traffic and stop lights because people think she will go faster and almost rear end her. I would like some real, honest, hard working help on this being that we do not have a lot of money and chose to spend a lot for a nice reliable car and have had everything but problems and worry.

Get everything in writing before you sign on! I love my new 2014 Ford F-150XL! Everyone was helpful in the initial purchase but sloppy in putting together the package as they claimed I did not order the step bars on each side. After two months, four unreturned messages and a trip tyo see a manager they just said the step bars were not in the package...But they would make it right. Two weeks later-NOT a Word!
